I was worried prior to chatting to Derrick the owner that this would be like the homebrew wine my Grandfather used to make. My wife and I were VERY pleased that it's not. The Shiraz we brewed tasted wonderful. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable , and answered all this newbie's many questions. Exceptionally good value for money. We now have 3 batches on the go, including Rose for my 28 year old niece.

Very limited selection, not particularly knowledgeable about their shelf product. I was looking for a kit, not making wine on the premises. When I asked the difference between two kits of the same variety of wine, the only answer he could offer was price.

I will update once I try my first batch in April. Well I have now made 3 white and i think 1 or 2 red batches and they have all been great. I find the whites that are a little less expensive tend to be a little more acidic for my taste so I stepped up for more oakey style wines and have been really happy with them. ALSO, brew your own are great for sangria, red OR white - FYI. I will be i soon to make a batch of white. Cheers
