I like visiting when going for a scenic drive in this part of Ontario. It has nicely laid out grounds. You can go on tours of the beehives (check website or call). There are pop up events throughout the summer. And I find the patio area usually very peaceful. As for the wine, I am not the person to review.bi have not developed the taste for Canadian wines. But I do like their Mead and always go home with a couple of jars of honey.

They originally started as an apiary and sold honey, mead, and other related products. They ventured into wine making and have a beautiful spot. Their wines, however, are a tad forgettable and not as "award-winning" as the server had touted. Obviously, only my opinion and it was also the tail end of a day of wine-tasting so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought a bottle of their "award-winning" Lock, stock and barrel (or something like that). It's way too early to drink but perhaps I'll make my final observation then. The staff person we had took offence that we didn't gush over the wine, which kind of spoiled the experience but she tried to be helpful.

Visited Rosewood last week for the first time. The employees are so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate the water bowl for our dog (without even asking). The location is so beautiful. Would love to return and enjoy a glass of wine on the Adirondack chairs!

Patio was closed due to the weather and although they told us there was a 30-60 minute wait for 1 of their 3 tables inside, we were seated in 20 minutes. It's $15 for a flight of 4 wines which was reasonable. Their reisling AF was delicious and we ordered some snacks from Maisy's Pearl who was on site. Cheese board include some honey comb from Rosewood and Niagara blueberry compote. Loved the oysters addition to the menu. Nothing like wine and oysters. Great place to stop on the way to Niagara.

The only place to buy honey as far as I'm concerned and the wine is not bad either. Very friendly and knowledgable people work here. If you're inclined, sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the bees do their thing in the garden.

The staff at Rosewood is amazing! I had some honey and mead chocolates sent to me in Sault Ste. Marie, and they managed to get it to me with my short notice! I have also been to the winery and love the setting, tours and the fact that they make you feel like family!

Helpful staff, tried a glass of white and red as they only have tastings Thursday through Sunday. I don't know if this is a covid thing or regular thing. So we each had a glass of wine and admired the scenery.

What wonderful customer service - warp speed shipping for an online order and when I contacted them with a minor issue with the order, they fixed it immediately and sent me a gift as well. So incredibly warm and generous, not to mention their excellent products. The wildflower honey is complex and goes well with anything you'd add honey to. They make innovative and classic wine that is a true reflection of the great things Ontario wines are capable of.

The service was great and some of their wines are good. I love that they serve canned seafood. It's not everyday you get to snack on octopus and have wine, all while enjoying such a great view of the winery and lake. What I didn't like was being served the wine in plastic cups when I ordered a flight. Thank you Matt for explaining why that decision was made for the safety of both staff and clients.

A very nice small winery with friendly staff! They offer a unique opportunity to taste several meads and wines that we enjoyed very much. On our first visit we were slightly surprised to pay for the tasting, not realizing we had come during a library tasting event. When we voiced our concerns, they provided us with a wonderful tour by very knowledgeable staff that was very educational. We will definitely be back!

I had a group tour here on Tuesday and can't say enough great things about this winery! The winemaker Ryan who led the majority of our tour is a basket of knowledge and I felt in the end this was the most educative wine tour I've ever done. Keep up the good work everyone! :) can't wait to be back.

WHAT TO TRY?? Their honey wines. Now that’s unique! You don’t get a lot of places that will have this kind of wine! And if you like sweet wines, you’ll definitely love the honey wine. And besides, honey is good for you! They have three different honey wines. The honey wines can be thinned with water, gewurtztraminer, or apple juice. I personally loved the gewurtztraminer combination but everyone is different. We were here for the wine tasting from the Niagara wine tasting festival so we got to taste their reds too. We tried the locked and loaded and it was a good wine choice too. A bordeau blend! I highly recommend it too, and hey, great name for a wine right? The customer service at this winery was also impeccable. From the tasting to the cashier, everyone was nice and willing to help. I even got some honey too! Nice place to take pictures outside too and inside the winery store, it gives you a very European Tuscany feel. LAST TIP?! Don’t forget to check in at this winery!! Because you’re in for a treat. You get to try a flight of tasting for free with a friend or your loved one! No wonder their rating is consistent at 5 stars!!!

Great time! We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. The staff are lovely - and clearly dedicated to what they do. We did a honey seminar (complete with honey, wine tasting, and cheese pairings), toured the grounds, had some great conversation, and tasted almost everything they had to offer. Before this experience, I had never tried Mead. Now I wish I would have bought more of it! We purchased 3 bottles of the dry mead, and enjoyed one with friends (who were also really impressed). We're big dry red wine drinkers, so I was pleasantly surprised with the Mead. If you're into sweeter drinks, they also offer a sweeter version.

We bought some honey last year and really liked it. This year we decided to drive from Toronto to the vineyard and it was a big disappointment. The staff are snooty and the customer service was quite unbelievably bad. When I asked what about the difference between the two mead. The staff didn’t look friendly and he apparently looked impatient, he replied “one is honey with water and one is with apple cider. “ I requested if there is any wine/mead tasting, he said because of Covid 19, they are not giving wine tasting. Apparently, he was lying and just wanted us to leave and it was almost 5pm. We saw the group before us tasting wine and why? This winery has the worst customer service and I am not the first person saying it on the review. We were really surprised and upset by the bad service and honestly no matter how sweet their honey is, it left us a sour taste.

The shipping process is terrible. I ordered last week and didn't get a confirmation that the wine had shipped. I found a random Post-it on my porch with a furniture moving company name and phone number. I threw it out because it looked like junk. But this random delivery company apparently has the wine but don't answer their phone so I can't track down my order. I've been ordering from a few other wineries in Niagara and the shipping is never a problem. Never again! Update: I did get a call and the wine is coming tomorrow. Crossing my fingers!

This is my favourite winery! I'm always impressed with their employees customer service. I remember getting a tour done by the grandson of the original owner a few years ago and he spoke with such genuine passion. It's a lovely spot for a glass of wine overlooking the vineyard. I love trying the new products they're constantly coming up with. Their meadery offers some really unique products you can't get elsewhere. I usually stock up in person when I'm visiting the area, but I placed my first online order yesterday and was super impressed. Highly recommend!

Very nice wines in an attractive location. Very knowledgeable and friendly lady conducting our tastings. Had a sign saying that 1 tasting fee ($10) would be refunded if you purchased $60 of wine. My wife and I had a tasting each. When I went to the checkout with $120 plus of wine, I was told that they would only refund one tasting. My wife complained and we did eventually get a credit for both, but the experience did leave us a bit upset.
