My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this unique culinary restaurant. We loved the blind menu with foraged local foods, fresh vegetables, amazing wine pairings and knowledgeable staff to explain the finer details of the meal. The setting is incredible at a refurbished barn in the beautiful countryside of Jordan. The wines were exceptional. We heard many comments about the small serving sizes and we have absolutely no complaints as we were fully sated “rolling” down the stairs at the end amazed at our fabulous food experience. Congratulations on such a fresh way of looking at providing a meal. We will definitely be back.

Crazy good wine! Can't wait for the new pinot noirs!

Martin made the experience for us. He was so knowledgable and fun. We would have had him pull up a chair and join us for the night talking about wine, wine regions and interesting wine making history. The wine pairing is an absolute must, they were all outstanding. The dinner was a fabulous experience. No menu, no options, 9 courses of their choosing. They tell you about each course as it's delivered. Each course is very small, unique, creative and well presented. Some of the servings could have used a little more on the plate as they were practically an amuse bouche. Some of the servings I wouldn't order again if I had the choice, however I still enjoyed them for the experience. We will be back if only to pick up a case of their incredible Riesling whenever the next vintage is released.

A somewhat secret local gem, this restaurant is the kind you look for and almost never find; the staff here pride themselves on their ability to serve you, provide real information on their menu of the day and to also tell you about the operation at Pearl Morissette. The food is beautiful and tastes amazing. The setting is aesthetically pleasing, further compounded by the fact that they really are farm to table. We went to PM for a special occasion and were not disappointed, despite high expectations. Our dinner was approximately 3 hours, so plan to stay and savour. Our menu ended up being around 11 courses, including a cheese course we added. My husband had the wine airing, which was more than generous, and I had the juice pairing - which was so nice to have an option for while pregnant. I love the setting and knowing you're not going to be bombarded by a pushy server or tables being too close together - they really got it right here. We can't wait to go back!

Superb wine, knowledgeable and passionate staff and a great setting. If you want to discover a great winemaking philosophy and hiw things can be done differently, book a tasting. Clearly a place to stop for any true wine enthusiast. Need to book before going.

Had our second meal at Pearl on the weekend, this time for lunch. We opted for the "long lunch" (ie 7 course meal) and were not disappointed. Amazing service, great courses (chef's menu), gorgeous view of the countryside on either side of the second story restaurant. And get there a bit early to check out the cows or pigs on the grounds, they're super adorable. If you have dietary restrictions, be sure to let them know in advance, since the courses are all served based on what's fresh and available at the time, so the menu rotates. Can't wait to go back.

Great wines, definitely not for everyone though (in a good way) - tastings by appointment only

A delightful dining experience. Each course competed with the last and was accented superbly by the wine pairing menu.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Pearl Morisette the other week. Wait staff were down to earth, friendly. The outdoor dining was nicely set up overlooking farm area and a few cattle. The food was pretty good; fresh ingredients and I'm sure a number of the ingredients were from the farm itself as we saw chefs handpicking ingredients as we drove in. Personally, I enjoyed the wines more than the food itself - the wine pairings were almost all amazingly complimentary with the dishes. And most restaurants are unable to successfully pair wines well; so I would recommend the wine pairings at dinner for all us wine drinkers ;) We ended up buying a few bottles of their wine and I only wished we could more easily order their wines from our local LCBO. A bit of feedback from our experience: it would help to have signage of the restaurant by the main road. There was no sign we could see, indicating the actual road to turn off into the restaurant. There's simply a large cardinal statue (a red coloured bird) by Jordan Road which is where you turn onto the dirt path leading to the restaurant. We actually drove past the restaurant twice before realizing that we probably ought to try that dirt path leading to the farm area/restaurant! LOL The second bit of feedback is to have the wait staff notice if a client/customer is still chewing their food before asking to remove their empty plate. There were a couple of times I had just taken in the last mouthful, was clearly chewing my food and the wait staff hurriedly removed our plates. There was also one course where my date and I were still working on our course and a wait staff was about to remove our plates - not sure if they're use to clientele who eat really quickly or if the wait staff are only eying plates rather than glancing at the customer as well to see if the customer is still chewing their last mouthful....so that's just our little bit of feedback. Overall, a nice experience.

Without question, my favourite winery in the country. Led by vigneron François Morissette, they produce original, complex wines of outrageous quality using a low-intervention approach. The restaurant is incredible - make a reservation and be sure to do the wine (or juice) pairings.

We were out for an impromptu drive and I had heard the Pearl Morissette winery was lovely, so we found it, and pulled in. Had no CLUE this incredible restaurant had opened just three weeks ago. Tasting menu only....$48 for a 3-course lunch, $78 for 5 courses, includes gratuity! The food was simply phenomenal, as were the space, and service. This is a phenomenal find and we will be back for sure. Make a resi. It's going to be a busy one :)

I’m a big fun of this winery. I have been there many times. I bought a bottle of wine 3 years ago. The wine was made by Chardonnay in 2012. It was my birthday yesterday, so I decided to open this bottle for my special day!! I was so surprised! It was great flavor and very deep taste. I thought why I didn’t buy this bottle more... Anyway, it was amazing!! I’ll buy this winery’s wine more next time. This winery is the best winery in Niagara region for me!!

Pearl Morissette is a darling, rustic winery and restaurant. We went there for lunch to celebrate an anniversary, and it was a nice chance to get away from the city to the quiet countryside. The restaurant is set on gorgeous vineyards. The building itself has large windows all around so natural light flows in beautifully. The decor is rustic, and there is just a subtle beauty to the ambiance of the restaurant as a whole. Service was really great - our server was really personable, knowledgeable and patient (even to take photos). Then there was the food - each course was better than the next (Though savoury courses were definitely better than their desserts). Hearty, seasonal farm-to-table. Well seasoned vegetables, and well-cooked meats. All the flavours made sense. Presentation was immaculate, and for what you get, the pricing was really fair. One of our favourite experiences this year!

It's hard for me to find words to describe the amazing culinary experience at Pearl Morissette. It was nothing short of incredible. The blind tasting makes it feel almost like an adventure. The staff was extremely knowledgeable on all the ingredients, and the process behind how each plate was created. We were given a tour of the kitchen, introduced to the chef and were welcomed to walk through each area of the kitchen and explained some of the process in how they cook their meals. Thank you for a night I'll never forget !

If you're in Niagara this is the spot to go. The final bill would probably be similar to any restaurants by the Falls. Beautiful presentation and delicious flavours. However, portions are on the smaller side so you may leave with a not-so-full stomach.

Had an incredible meal with amazing wine and dessert. The restaurant is also incredibly beautiful with a really pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Very interesting experience may not be every one as taste but definitely lots of heart. Mostly local product , sea food from east coast small fishing operation, beautiful farm , and not accept tips

I think the guy does the tasting was rude. He doesn't acknowledge potential clients. I am a wine lover and I have done many wineries over the year's to know what to look and what I want and for sure is not being treated bad. It was a turn off completely. No going back!

Can I give 6 stars? Great sensory journey from the moment we arrived on site. The views, the smells, the taste and every detail is designed to the great experience. The service is next level. Thank you for a lovely evening! ????????

The setting, a rustic building surrounded by vineyards, is beautiful. The interior is gorgeous and the wine pairings were exceptional. I have to say, I was quite disappointed by the food. Everything was just okay--except for the bread, which was a work of art. (However, should the best food on your tasting menu really be the bread?) The other courses--greens in some vinegar sauce, a spoonful of beans, a lacklustre piece of fish--were all just...acceptable. Nothing tasted bad, I just wasn't impressed. With the possible exception of a Shiro plum tartlet flavoured with spruce--a surprising and interesting flavour. Overall, the portion sizes were very small. "What is this? A tasting menu for ants?" I exclaimed to my partner in the voice of Derek Zoolander. If it weren't for a second helping of that magical bread, we would have had to hit up the nearest McDonalds for some nugs to soak up all our booze from the evening. This experience isn't on the same level as some of Canada's best tasting menus at more established restaurants such as Alo, but has the potential to get there.

One of the best meals we've had in Ontario. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, the setting was stellar. We had previously tried one of the wines at a Hamilton restaurant that was fantastic, however the viognier that we tried at the restaurant was on a whole other level. The chef came out to present and talk about what each dish was comprised of which was a great touch. My girlfriend is a chef and i'm a food photographer so we eat out a lot and this was all in all one of the best places in this country we've ate at. Between the quality of the wine and the attention to detail of the whole experience it's was great all around. We will definitely be back, many thanks to the whole Pearl Morissette crew and thank you!

Incredible experience at Pearl Morissette just now. Lunch was FANTASTIC. We celebrated my birthday and loved the uniqueness of the place: ambience, service, FOOD, the pre set menu, cheese as a highlight along with the desserts, all was fabulous. The only thing is that they don’t do anything special for birthdays. Yet, I guess being there is already very special ???? Thank you, PM, for a fantastic experience. Service is fabulous. I made a reservation a while ago and was looking forward to this dinner for months! Pearl Morissette totally lived up to my high expectations with its excellent good, delicious wine, attentive service, and beautiful ambiance! I'm so happy that a restaurant of this caliber opened up in the Niagara region. I cannot recommend it enough and will for sure revisit in the future!

The best culinary experience I’ve had in Canada. Seriously creative and impressive. If you’re a foodie, you need to eat here. Just do it.

A true experience. One of the best meals I've ever had. The service was amazing, our server was very knowledgable and so nice. The food was incredible, as was the wine of course. Gorgeous space, good food, amazing wine!

If you want a truly unique and fantastic experience touring wine country, it is worth the visit. A small run winery that yields to no "large winery" rules, the tour and wines will steal the show.

I would summarize Pearl Morissette as a great food experience. First, the location is very unique and if you come from out of town I recommend staying close overnight, e.g. Inn at 20. The barn and restaurant inside are beautifully designed and warm, yet modern. The atmosphere is welcoming and compared to Toronto so refreshingly normal and different. It is all about the food. Food: fantastic farm to table dinner. Amazingly, changes almost daily. Service: excellent, friendly, attentive, just awesome. Atmosphere: don't want to leave. Drinks: well, the only slight downer, only minimal bar availability, wines are ok. Summary: unique and great food experience. Absolutely recommended.

Lots of creative and unique dishes that you won't experience at any other restaurant but I didn't like some of the dishes due to them being overly sour, vinegary, spicy or strong tasting. Out of the 9 courses, I enjoyed only two courses. Compared to other high-end restaurants that I have been to, there were too many dishes that I didn't enjoy much. Service was quick and professional. Overall, it was good to try different stuff that I wouldn't normally cook with such as walleye, celeriac, and persimmon.

Mike Salter

We had a fantastic lunch in this very elegant restaurant. Each of the nine courses was delicious and splendidly presented. The service was excellent and the servers informative without being overbearing. A completely enjoyable experience.

What an absolutely wonderful experience. The food, wine, service and space were truly exquisite. This unique dinning experience was incredible, nowhere in the area does it like they do. The food is prepared with pure joy and you can taste it in every bite. I was excited to try the next course every time and was never disappointed. The wine was paired perfectly with each course and was truly beautiful. The ambiance is simple, modern and stunning. You can tell that everyone involved in this operation cares about what they are putting in front of you. I can't wait to go again.

Amazing experience all in all. I have dinned here several times and every occasion has been unique and wonderful. Some dinners with friends and some with family, I was treated phenomenally every time. The staff is very engaging and the Martin is a pleasure to speak with. Chatted about Italian wines with him on every occasion and cannot wait for them to open and go back! They worked very hard to accommodate during covid and their out door patio dinning did not disappoint. Was a breath of fresh air for some normalcy during the times.

Must try restaurant in the Niagara area. Beautiful decor, great seasonal food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Service standards could be dialed up a notch, seemed a bit to casual for the style of restaurant in my opinion. Will be back for sure.
