I wasn’t looking for a wine cellar - I found National Wines in Oakville by “fluke” a couple of years ago and I have thanked that day ever since. A family owned business- I was fortunate to meet Amato and Maria, two of the most nicest people I have ever met. Amato is very knowledgeable with respect to the selection of wine and patient with his wine teachings. The wine is fabulous- no additives and a great taste to the pallet with no aftertaste- wines of the world in my very own neighbourhood. I recently finished bottling my first order from National Wines. Amato, the owner, was knowledgable and friendly. After the last two or three attempts to find a home made wine that suited my taste buds a friend told me about this place that uses freshly pressed grape juice rather than the typical concentrates used in the typical wine 'kit'. They also have a real cold room for stabilization which none of the other facilities I've used had. The wine was more than the typical 'make your own' companies – but again, they start with real pressed grapes like the large scale wineries. The facility is also very clean, as well. Highly recommend

Being new to the wine making scene I researched a few different providers. After six batches at National Wines I can confidently say how pleased I am with Amato and Vince for their knowledge and passion for wine. They really care about their customers. A great selection of sulfite free wines.

Very interesting place. Great variety of wines sold at this location. Staff is very well educated on wines and the wines are sulfite free. Very impressed and this is my on going place to purchase my wines.
