You have the feddbacks of real people like you who have information of the products and services of Georgian Hills Vineyards (Winery) in the area of Burlington (Canada).
To this day the business has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is virtually the best, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the rating is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Winery is included in the category of Winery.
Great service and conversation! I loved the estate grown varietals.
Very knowledgeable and friendly
(Translated) Great as usual! A very pleasant little winery. (Original) Great as usual! Очень приятная небольшая винодельня.
(Translated) A very nice place with warm staff and good products I liked their wine thank you for the good service (Original) Une très belle place avec du personnel chaleureux et de bon produits j'ai aimé leur vin merci du bon service
Poppie was so informative and approachable. We learned a ton about wine making in the area and tasted some truly unique wines. Highly recommend the L'Acadie Blanc.
Pretty small selection of wine, and what they did have was watered down and lacking real flavor (it was mostly additives). The view wasn't anything special either. However the staff were very polite, friendly and really enjoyed talking wine and made the trip much more enjoyable.
Fun to stop in for a tasting while up at the cottage.
Lovely staff and a wide array of excellent ciders and wines. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside
Fantastic views and lovely staff. So friendly and helpful, and the wines and ciders are super delicious! Definitely try the Victoria Pear Cider!
The wine and cider was tasty and we enjoyed the food and snacks, but our experience wasn't the best. …
Great & informative staff.
Nice gamay rose... decent tasting... didnt feel like sitting out but friendly enough staff
It was a very nice small vineyard only minutes from Georgian Bay and 10 minutes from Blue Mountain. They have a number of selection of wines that they grow right at the vineyard. Some of the wine selections they offer are made from grapes …
Wine was great but their service is awful. We had reservations for a tasting, and weren’t allowed to do flights of wine. This was one of the many rules they created and said it was due to “covid restrictions.” The table beside us was able to get flights of wine, when we asked the table beside us if they had had reservations they said no, they had simply stopped by and inquired if they could do flights of wine. When we asked our server about it, she floundered and said “if we didn’t like it, we didn’t have to stay”. I was baffled by the lack of professionalism and constancy in their “protocols”. Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a winery.
Great staff, and the scenery from the patio is breathtaking.
(Translated) Warm welcome, clean and modern tasting place, good wine and cider list. We loved our experience! (Original) Accueil chaleureux, lieu de dégustation propre et moderne, bonne carte des vins et cidres. Nous avons adoré notre expérience !
Great place. The wine is good and you can get a cheese and meet plate for lunch to have with a glass of wine. Would definitely go back. In the summer you can sit on a patio to enjoy under the sun.
Nice people and good wine.
This is a great little winery that also has some nice ciders available. The server was very knowledgeable on the history of the winery and the different varieties available. We enjoyed the white wines and cider. Nice place to visit and the outdoor patio is well done.
Nice little winery. They accommodated me and three others for tasting even with two bus tours present. Very nice and unexpected
First time here and had a great time and experience!! Service was friendly and very knowledgeable and would highly recommend this place. Looking forward to coming back!
This was a beautiful experience! We did not tour but simply came for a tasting. The patio is beautiful and peaceful, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the wine was delicious.
Nice location, rushed the wine tasting, appreciate the family style vibe
Busy , even when snowing. Staff were very efficient though.
Nice venue for wine.
A great winery in a great location.
3 of us did the wine tasting. You get 5 taste each. Watch out for Anne, she can't count! We had three taste each and she said we were at our limit. Wine is good.
Living in the area but first time here. Disappointed ! People trying to put on snowshoes on the walkway both in and out blocking the entrance/exit. Our hostess was extremely loud. Cheese tray was sparse and expensive compared to other wineries we have visited. Expected more. Won't be back.
The $15 tour wasn't worth the value. We had a few samplings and watched an old slide show. It was cold and rainy so we couldn't go outside. It lasted 15 minutes. The fruit flies were terrible. Our group was travelling in Ontario doing beer and wine tasting and this was the only place that charged us for the tour - even with the purchase of a product.
Very kinda owners and workers, all while being on a beautiful piece of land. Witha wonderfully interior design and outdoor section with heaters. A must try place for wine tasting.
Really nice wine
It was a nice cosy place. The vineyard shop is run out of a cute house and they have a patio for the summertime. Good charcuterie board to pair with a flight of wines or ciders of your choosing. I enjoyed the sparkling pear cider in particular. I had a nice time. I liked that it was a smaller winery. Homey feel.
great vineyard shop, tasting area =) worth travelling from europe for
Great place and a great experience. Wife and I booked the food pairing and both agreed that the selections of wines and cheeses complimented one another. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable!
I was introduced to this wine at a local farmers market and the rest is history. This is hands down the best wine in this area!! I can't believe I've just found out about it. I'm definitely a customer for life, I've started to introduce this wine to others and hopefully do a wine tasting soon.
After online site allowing reservation today - we arrived after travelling 60 km for wine tasting only to be abruptly told no wine tasting is offered on a Wednesday....not in a friendly manner! So the one star is for Customer Service cannot …
The Staff were very Pleasant, and Knowledgeable. Plus, we met a Lovely Family visiting from England.
Fantastic icewines!
We had a wonderful Pop Up Events picnic here! Very well done and excellent service! Highly recommend!
Last year I organized a tour, (38 people) Georgian Hills was one of our first stops. They went above and beyond for our group! The wine was GREAT and the tour was so informative. I recommend Georgian Hills to everyone, its a great spot to spend an afternoon. Keep up the great work. We will be back.
Awesome Ciders! Greatly friendly staff!
Great day out, tasting a few whites and ice wines. Perfect for spring or a cooler summer's day. Winery is known for its white selection and sweet wines, we most enjoyed the sparkling white and riesling. The service was great. Not overbearing but always there to help. Friendly, inviting and almost accommodating. Cellar door pricing isn't reduced from LCBO pricing but al least buying direct is directly the Ontario wine industry. I recommend for a tasting paddle, and cheese board for an afternoon delight.
Second time here for wine tasting and vineyard visit . Awesome platters , wines and superb staff . Enjoy wine in a beautiful setting
Great location to host your holiday season festivities with family and friends
Tasting was pleasant but I was charged double and only realized after I left. Very disappointed in their pricing.
Small but charming winery. I enjoyed that even during these new restrictions, they were able to offer us a nice tasting outside, followed by charcuterie plate and drinks by the fire. Staff are very friendly and pleasant.
Service was excellent. Prices were getting high. Wine and cider were tasty.
Lovely place to spend an hour or two on a nice day. Beautiful scenery and very tasty wines and ciders.
Great experience! Taylor was extremely knowledgable and personable...would definately recommend and will definately be back. Loved the Ida Red!
This past weekend, two friends and I joined the Premium Group Tasting. What a great time we had! Very informative, Robert was amazing. We learned a lot about what wines to pair with certain foods, and tasted many fabulous types of cheese. Would definitely recommend.
Terrific local winery / cidery. Just launched a premium line of wild ferment single varietal vinifera wines.
Very very nice people....
They wouldn't let me order a flight of wine and food at my table. First winery I've been to that this is the case. No flexibility or desire to serve
I have been to the vineyard a couple of times and have been served by a couple different staff members. The wine is delicious and the service is amazing. We enjoyed a cheese and meat board that had some beautiful local jellies and was tasty …
Friendly staff and excellent wine at a reasonable price!
Great winery, the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and very welcoming! The wine is great, I also really enjoyed the Big John cider they offered at the tasting made by Ardiel Cider House. Will be recommending to friends and family and returning!
Had a wonderful afternoon tasting awesome wines, which were paired beautifully with a delicious charcuterie board. Well worth a visit - highly recommend!
Food is overpriced for what you get. The charcuterie platter was underwhelming and very expensive with sparse pieces of salami and cheese wedges.
Beautiful location and excellent pandemic measures in place. If you would like to try the wines i would recommend booking your tasting in advanced. We really enjoyed the rose and the sparkling wine.
Loved the experience, would definitely go again. We booked our tasting (Perfect Pairing) as part of a bachelorette celebration. This is a smaller winery and the experience is more cozy and intimate. We were settled into our own room and never had to share with anyone else. Laura was our host; she was engaging and informative, and her timing was excellent. She would give us time between each tasting to talk and munch and enjoy ourselves. There is also the option of a non-alcoholic cider if you have anyone in your group who does not/cannot drink alcohol (they get a discount as well). The ice cider was a particular hit with everyone in the group (yes, that's ice cider, not wine). They also included a complimentary bottle of wine for our bride (which had not been discussed before hand) which was particularly kind of them.
The 2019 Marquette is an amazing medium bodied red! Thank you!
Always good service. Great place to try some of the best local wines and ciders around. Order with a platter.
4.5 stars. Cheese platter is pricey as it only has 2 cheeses (although crackers, olives, dried meats are good, and hummus is amazing) wines are great. Customer service was very friendly.

We went here for a bachelorette party and we had a great time. It was nice to taste the red wine, white wine and ciders. They have a beautiful property.
Really nice place and the apple ice wine is a must try, just wish we could have got a reservation for lunch
Loved it here. Had a light lunch with some great wine. Also bought two bottles to bring home. Great staff...!!!
A beautiful small vineyard, excellent for a girls date or small bachelorette. Very simple charcuterie boards and wine/ cider tastings available. Its also conveniently located near two or more other cider orchards!
Very informative proffesional staff, great local wines.
Very nice winery great tasting wine. Server Moira was very informative and pleasant to talk with. She definitely knows thw winery and wines.
Top notch service and super clean restricted areas that are safe! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prepared food, tasting room, wine to go! I'm sure a beautiful picnic in the near future would be a relaxing day, amongst an incredible surreal setting!
Dessert wine was delicious!
An absolutely amazing place, starting with your drive to the vineyard to enjoying a great selection of wines and ciders. All this was complemented by an outstanding and well educated staff. Certainly a must visit destination.
Ciders and wines are both delicious. Everything was very unique. We just happened to stop in here and we were very glad we did!!
Great place, excellent views, platter carefully prepared, staff very welcoming, good selection of vines and local ciders. Reservation is recommended for a full experience.
I walked in with a group of 5 on a Saturday and we were immediately helped. The service was cheerful and fast from everyone there!
I went on Monday and on Saturday. Monday was a 5 star rating. Cindy was fantastic. Very informative and also recommended tourist attractions when we left. That is fantastic customer service. Which made me come back with company the same week. Disappointed. The hostess was distracted and only offered us 3 tastings. She said we we were done. The wine was good and we did buy 6 bottles. 2 different experiences.
Very friendly extremely informative. I have never been on a wine tour this place took my breath away. The scenery is just amazing. Thank you to the wonderful staff for teaching me about the wines please anyone going pick up the dessert wine absolutely fabulous.
Wonderful!!! Right from when I called to book and Laura doing the tasting. Friendly staff and beautiful country. So thankful being so close to home.
A lovely place with excellent customer service. The charcuterie tray was really great, using local cheeses and meats. The wine and ciders are so good as well. Open year round which is a plus.
Seemed very pretentious! Wine was alright. For an area with many options for vineyards, this one seemed to lack.
Great place to sample good quality ciders, red and white wine with delicious appetisers
My wife and I went out there today to get your wine. What a GREAT place, Staff is so friendly definitely a place to go.
Such a relaxing place and we had great service and the wine and ciders were very enjoyable. My friend and I sat outside at a picnic table and did a flight of wine each with a cheese and meat board, it was so enjoyable! We will definitely be returning
It's a cozy great spot. The ladies are all super friendly
We loved everything about our visit to Georgian Hills! The location is gorgeous, the wines are amazing, the food is delicious, and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend visiting!
We booked a tasting online and had a great time. 5 delicious samples of wine and cider (their cider is excellent!!!). Then stayed for more wine and snacks. Beautiful setting too.
Very friendly staff, great wines and cider.
Went here in February on a Tuesday afternoon when our other plans fell through. Don't let the small building size throw you off. Good things come in small packages! We sampled several wines, and while not all of them are VQA (yet...) they are stellar! The "frozen to the core" pear dessert wine is terrific! They were very warm and friendly. We felt that a lot of the staff at the blue mountains resort have been cordial but seemed annoyed to be there. Here the hospitality felt genuine. We had a delicious charcuterie platter perfectly paired with the selected wine. It was an excellent way to spend a cold blustery afternoon! Thanks to Dale for the excellent experience!
(Translated) Very friendly staff and great experience! (Original) Personnel très sympathique et belle expérience !
Friendly place and people
