Hard not to love and always hard to leave, Cornerstone wraps you in its arms and doesn't let go till you're in love with life again - four hundred of my guests (and counting) couldn't be wrong. As a guide I've watched many-a-customer stroll into this unassuming small-production winery with an uncertain eye and out with an open heart and a few bottles to boot. So pleasing to see that the Cornerstone family cares as much about fruit-growing and winemaking as they do your experience sipping beneath a willow tree in their grassy side yard. Love robust reds? Try any of their daring cab francs. Prefer lighter? The pinot noir will be your peace. Got you covered for understated whites too like Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc. Need more wow factor in your life? Guzzle down that Riesling Vidal till you beg for more. Got a sweet tooth with an adventurous palette? Prize-winning peach, apricot and strawberry wines await your taste receptors not to mention your soul. Wanna rock the rest of your world? No worries there as the port wine will report for duty and roll over you with flavor. Finally. . . (cue music and draw the curtain) save room for their incredible late harvest and ice wines that'll have you applauding for more. . . MORE! . . . even better than the products is the embrace you'll get from Nina and friends. All the better if you arrive in high spirits and appreciative air. In a wine country that wholly undervalues the personalities sipping before them, Cornerstone is a breath of fresh humanity - forever eager to listen, teach, share and entertain in equal measure. Small and unassuming, a nice hidden hem. Very interesting wines. Talked with the owner, and wife, for 35 minutes. Would have talked more but an unannounced party bus stopped, thanks. Otherwise, this was our favorite place of the weekend! We will be back.

One of the fun things about the Niagara Peninsula, and the Beamsville area in particular, is the joy of dropping into previously undiscovered wineries. We dropped into Cornerstone Estate Winery rather than driving by. What a delightful wine tasting, guided by Nina. I would highly recommend sitting on the verandah on a warm summer day savouring the captured sunshine of previous summers in excellent wines from local grapes.

I don't reach for a glass of wine as fast as some other people I know but I was quite impressed with Cornerstone Estate Winery when I was there recently. They have a nice wide selection so you know you will find something you really like, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and the owner Jerry is very nice and has a passion for what he does. They even helped me to free samples of anything that peaked my interest so there were no guesses when it came to purchasing, something you don't get at the LLBO. Above all, the wines are really really good. If you haven't been here you have to stop by sometime to give it a try, you will be happy you did. Thank you Jerry

Good choice of wine, from red, white, sparkling, sweet wines and icewines. You can do a degustation or buy by glass. Taste experience is made even better by the knowledgeable woman at the counter. There are also some picnic tables in the patio where you can sit and enjoy your drink. Very quite and peaceful corner. Will come back for sure.

We stopped by here one Saturday afternoon and it was closed so we went to another winery. We decided to try again after we left and we are glad we did. There is a good selection of wines for a small place and you can sample them no problem. My wife loved the 2010 Cab Merlot and I the 2012 Riesling. We weren't sure what Port was but we are fans now. A definite must visit if touring wineries.

Fantastic wine tasting outside. We chose our tasting and also tried the peach wine which is unique to the region. I circled back quickly after my bike ride with a vehicle and bought 4 different bottles of course one was peach wine! A hidden gem. The presentation and information about each wine she carefully and patiently explained! Great experience! Can't decide on the resieling try as many as possible! Lol Drink local support local some other most prestigious award winning wines are right here!!!
