OMG! Never did I think I would have the opportunity to eat in a vineyard. What a fabulous idea! My spouse and I didn't know what to expect and were concerned about how this would go during these challenging times but we love visiting Coffin Ridge and we wanted to support this lovely business. Never did I expect them to set up tables amongst the rows of grapes! The vintner's platter was exceptional, as always. I had the sparkling wine L'acadie blanc and my husband had the back From the Dead Red. We needed some 'normal'. What we got was a 'special' treat. Thank you so much!

Spectacular. Go on a not too hot day to enjoy the spectacular vista, perfect light lunch and bucolic setting. Heavenly! Just don't 'lose heart' when you're on the dirt road after turning off Hwy 26 -check your odometer when you turn off and starting looking for the vintner's sign on your left at 8 km. (You'll know you missed it if you get to Georgian Bay)

Amazing location, beautiful view. Worth the drive! We visited for a second time because our first experience was great and we needed to buy more wine, we ran out of all that we bought back in September. We've loved all of the wine and cider. Charcuterie board is delish, with local cheeses and pate that were exceptional. Gluten free options other than rice crackers would be appreciated.

It was Ok, I had the rose and was disappointed, Nora tried the Bone Dry, nothing wrong, nothing to rave about, If you're coming by bike, be careful at the entrance, Nora dumped her bike on the gravel. Over all, nice view, no shade, the wine was Ok, I'd save the fuel

What a fantastic venue. From groups to biking enthusiasts, all were here. We did the tasting and then ordered a glass of our favourite wine and the cheese/bread/meat platter. Sat in the sun and enjoyed the view of the valley.

Disappointing in staff. WE ENJOYED THE WINE. But staff had no interest in sharing history ... 6 of us with and we enjoyed the wine and space and did shop but was bored with lack of knowledge and left. FROM Niagara and it's a different experience. We made a special trip from Collingwood. Hope when you go you are lucky to meet a wine makers or owner.

The location is absolutely stunning and everything we tried was tasty. Super helpful and friendly staff. The meat and cheese board hit the spot. The real show stopper was the small batch cider. The first one I tried was the maple rosemary cider, but every one I've tried since has been incredible. I always recommend visiting to friends and family coming up for a visit and I love to bring clients by for a glass of wine or cider.

I know nothing about wines and prefer beer. My wife and daughter enjoy wine. I wanted to go for the experience and believe me I was not disappointed. I had a wonderful time. The experience was far superior to that of Napa Valley California and was more like that of Italy. Regardless of your view on wines, anyone who has the opportunity and does not take advantage of visiting Coffin Ridge Vineyard is missing out on a wonderful experience. It will be an annual event for my wife and myself.

Mmm mmm mmm!!! It was such a lovely spot to check out. We loved being able to sit in amongst the grape vines. Each table shaded WHICH was so comfortable in the afternoon heat. Staff was friendly & helpful. We all enjoyed their sparklings & ciders; lavender earl grey-SO GOOD! My husband & daughter LOVED the non-alcoholic apple Cider as well! Beautiful grounds with many options to sit, chat & take in the scenery. Definitely very easy to get too off the main highway in between Meaford & Owen Sound with lots of parking. There were outdoor bathrooms, as well as indoors. Tidy & well sanitized. Brought home some favourites to enjoy & gift to others!

Beautiful, delicious and overall an incredible experience. Everything was perfect, building was clean and organized and the staff were very friendly. Prices were great too! Got a flight of 3 wines and a charcuterie board for just under $40 total. The only downside is that the firepits were not working so it was really cold (rainy/foggy day). Having more options to help keep the area warm would be the only thing I'd wish were available.

Booked a reservation, wanting to come here as we only live 15mins away, and heard the “rave” reviews. Only to arrive to a table that was swarming with fruit/cluster flies. Ordered a flight and a glass of wine and vintners plate. Wine was alright until the fruit flies were swarming your glass and the food plate. Making everything gross and inedible. Paid for everything and we will never be back again!

Went to Coffin Ridge Winery on September 3rd. What an amazing experience. The charcuterie board was delicious & generous with meats, cheeses, chocolate, candied almonds & olives. They offered flights of 3 choices with both wine & cider. They were socially responsible & asked if we were driving. We actually used a cab company out of Meaford with a flat fee service. A beautiful way to spend an afternoon. Great wine & cider

Arrived at 5:05 for wine tasting and vintner cheese board and was informed that the kitchen just closed ... really you are open until 6 pm ... we drove over an hour to spend our Anniversary at your Winery ...unimpressed with that ... will find another location... used to be a favourite spot to come and enjoy time at ... the lack of flexibility was truly a disappointment!

We recommend making a reservation however we were still able to sample the wines and they had the most lovely outdoor area to sit at with stunning views. I would have loved to hear the story behind Coffin Ridge so it's a pity we didn't get that. We will reserve next time for sure. We were in the area and decided to check it out. Great little winery we discovered while cycling in the area, the first year it opened. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. You can enjoy a light snack with a glass of wine over looking Owen Sound and Georgian Bay below, in the distance. One of the few places you can get the white, L'Acadie Blanc wine. A little out of the way but worth the drive.

4 of us booked the Igoo experience, we drove 2hrs & very disappointed. No heaters ,blankets or any decorating to make it comfortable. Service was rude & understaffed. Summer seems like a better time?

Getting there was a bit challenging as the roads are side roads and stones all over the road but as soon as we got there we thought we are somewhere outside of the earth.... overwhelmingly beautiful scene and the environment is amazing. Tried few different wines and my favorite one was the rose.... and their plates blew our minds away.... Most important note about this amazing vineyard is that they’re pet friendly and welcomed us with a shaded bench... they could offer water but we had our own bottle of water for our dog but this could make us love them even more.

Love this winery, a few things which could use some attention, a few more umbrellas on the decks (very hot) and trim the hedge around the decks. Amazing view, however can"t enjoy when sitting on the lower decks.

The view is spectacular and the wines are very good. They don't have a wide variety but the few they have are splendid. What I personally like about this Winery is they are small and the wines are unique every year. The staff is knowledgeable and warm.

Amazing time at Coffin Ridge. Spent the afternoon sitting in their Muskoka Chairs overlooking the vineyards and beautiful views. Recommend the flight of three wines (all three reds that I had were fantastic!) and the Vintners Plate of cheese, meats, bread and more! Highly recommend if you’re up near Meaford. Suggest making reservations on their website at least the day before - they don’t take reservations day of.

Nice place...Terrible staff. We drove by last Sunday and decided to visit. We were greeted by a very rude older lady. The first words out of her mouth were “DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION?” We said no. The place was empty (4 couples total...the place is huge) She then loudly sighed and said we can purchase wine and sit under the tented area only. All of the nice chairs and patio were off limits because we did not have a reso.During the hour and a half we were there one other couple showed up and were greeted in the same manner. Please have a look at the photos. The place was empty. Clearly they need better staff or perhaps send them on a customer service course. If the owners are in fact considered about “overcrowding” then put a sign up at the front that says reservation only. The grounds are very nice and the vino is decent. Hence why I gave 2 stars and not zero.
