This was an amazing winery. A little off the beaten path but we are glad we went. The facilities and views were amazing. Wines were all good. Our favorite is the dessert wine. We came home with several bottles. Sorry I didn't get more pictures. I was too busy enjoying myself.

People should know what they’re signing up for before they come here. This is not a typical vineyard or a relaxing Saturday afternoon. We came here on the second weekend after opening and they have a lot of work to do. Firstly, this is a vineyard “concept.” None of the wine is made on site. It seems as though this was a business idea and not the result of a passion for wine or making wine. Second, the staff seem very overwhelmed; they were sold out of two wines on just their second weekend after opening and the line for tasting was out the door. The service was remarkably slow. It took us 20 minutes to buy a bottle. Third, there are no grapes or paths for walking. The views are pretty as the “vineyard” (again no actual grapes) overlooks Kings mountain and Crowders mountain, however, right in front of you is just a barren, brown plot of land. This should more accurately be described as a wine bar.

I visited Veronet this past weekend, and WOW! I was so impressed by the kindness of the staff, the quality of the wine, and most importantly, their COVID protocols during this time! You truly feel that they have their staff’s safety and your safety as their customer as their number 1 priority. We received hand sanitizer upon arrival, were escorted to our table, witnessed how they clean, how frequently, and how cognizant they are about making sure no customers go against their guidelines/procedures for COVID. I felt so safe, and actually enjoyed myself! The wine slushie was delicious, I highly recommend!! I got the red wine flight, and the Malbec was my favorite!!! If you are looking for a COVID friendly outing accompanied by great wine, a truly AMAZING staff, and killer views, this is the place!!!!

Very nice building and porch. They are not yet producing wine on site. We bought a bottle of pretty good red wire but feel it was overpriced at $24.00. $12.00 to $16.00 have been a more realistic price for the wine quality.

Love Veronet! I've visited on a couple of occasions and had awesome experiences both times. The first visit was with friends prior to COVID and the team at Veronet was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about their wines, etc. We had a lovey day drinking wine and eating charcuterie while overlooking King's Mountain. My second visit was for my birthday over the summer (during COVID). They sat us at our own shaded picnic table which was spaced a comfortable distance from others. The team was super friendly, we felt safe during our entire visit, and when our reservation was nearing the end, they gave us a courtesy heads up so that we didn't feel rushed. Oh! And both times they had yummy food trucks in case you want something more substantial to eat. I highly recommend Veronet and will be visiting again soon!

Monique, Dave, and the Sullivan family have carved out a tremendous space for events, relaxing afternoons, and friendly gatherings. The staff is friendly and accommodating even in when the winery is packed. Less than 50min. from Uptown, this is the perfect getaway distance and the scenery is unbeatable. Not the mention, the wine is excellent. This will quickly become a ‘must’ experience in the Charlotte area. Veronet truly is a hot spot for wine connoisseurs and beautiful Carolina vistas.

What a great place. I have been to several wineries in the area (I live in Charlotte for over 20 years), and this place has a nice combination of a fantastic view, relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of space for family with children. It has an indoor space with style, and a relaxing outdoor area with the best view of any winery in the area. Not too far from Charlotte, which makes it convenient as well. The service is excellent which helps to enjoy a nice and relaxing experience. I recommend Veronet Vineyards to all of my friends. Great place!

An incredible hidden gem with an amazing view of Kings Mountain and Crowders Mountain right in Charlotte's backyard. A must visit for anyone looking to take a short drive to feel far away from the city. Big open spaces for my two-year-old to run around and the staff were very welcoming. Kids even get free juice boxes and goldfish crackers!

We fully enjoyed our Sunday at this beautiful gem. Our goal this year is to hit up every vineyard in NC! We ordered flights all day and there wasn’t one wine that I didn’t enjoy. There is an option for everyone here whom prefers dry, semi sweet, or super sweet. Views and aesthetics are incredible. Super dog friendly, our pup got fed several treats. The staff here is quick, helpful, and they clean constantly! We will most definitely be back. Cheers!!

My family and I love this winery. Third time here. Came when it opened and yes, the lines were slow but given a break because it just opened. Hadn't known a grand opening of any business to not have glitches. Needless to say, experienced the private wine tasting yesterday with a group of friends. Nikki, the owner, did a great job and was more detailed than most winery's I've visited locally and even in Italy. Can't wait for their other couple wines in November.

cute space and something different to do but wine is not good at all and the staff was pretty rude. the reservation was for 2 hours and we were still finishing up a minute or two past the 2 hour reservation (but there was no one waiting for our table since it was the end of the day an hour before they closed). would have completely understood if they politely asked us to leave because they needed to clean up etc but they were pretty rude when asking us to leave and made us feel uncomfortable. saw them doing the same to other tables.

Monique and Dave somehow picked a wonderful place to establish a vineyard! As a local, I take for granted the beauty of the area and my visit to Veronét proves that. Also, I loved all of the wines. I was hesitate at first, "A vineyard in Kings mountain... what??", but it is a MUST GO!!! Inside is gorgeous with plenty of seating. Outside, beautiful scenery looking at Crowder's Mountain. Seating everywhere all around the vineyard. The wine slushies are to die for! Definitely will have an event there soon!

By the glass & bottle prices are available & many delicious choices available. So fortunate to have this sophisticated winery so close to home!

Perfect environment to spend an afternoon with friends. I was so pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this property. The inside was modern and spacious. The outside was gorgeous. Although they do not serve food, the cheese And charcuterie boxes were a nice alternative. A bit pricey, but we were so impressed by the 100% sanitation reading and that all employees kept on masks, that we didn’t mind. Grab your special someone and head to this vineyard which is a short drive from Charlotte. Be mindful of the gravel road on the way in.

YES!!!!! Crowder's hiking and French style dry wine. New, so they are expanding their much needed more seating. But the staff is friendly, the charcuterie is delicious and most of the wines are winners. Enjoy the Crowder's mountain view!

It's not often you get blown away by exceptional customer service, but Veronet did it. An afternoon with some girlfriends could not have been made any more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to take care of my special health needs; they literally brought treats to my eyes with their kindness. On top of that: 1. Beautiful views of the vineyard and the mountains beyond. 2. Great atmosphere! 3. Today's food truck option was great although, of course, I can't vouch for future food trucks. 4. For those in the group that aren't huge wine fans - the wine slushy was delightful. 5. For those in the group who ARE big wine fans, you can do wine flights and then have a wine slushy to cool off from the hot summer temps. ???? 6. Much to my surprise, my favorite wine was the dessert chardonnay. It is a distant cousin to mead - honey and apples, sweet and a little thick but not as much so as mead.

Veronét was an incredible experience for me as a non-wine drinker. They done incredible listing all of the options and going through the menu and even letting me try splashes of wine they’d recommend! I had a wonderful time, found two wines that i can enjoy, and of course the scenery is beautiful! I would definitely recommend stopping in at Veronét if you get the opportunity!

DON'T BUY THE HUMMUS. It was a great experience except for the fact that I was sold bad hummus that caused me to have food poisoning. Sabre had a recall on the pretzels and hummus for both salmonella and for listeria. I called to report what happened no one picked up the phone. I ended up messaging in and the individual who responded to the message stated they would pull the product. Yet in the message below they tried to discredit what I stated. I wasn't offered a refund for the bad product either even though it is now mentioned in the message below. I will never visit this establishment again just based on them being so petty about the messages.

The company I work for rented out the space for our annual holiday party and it was gorgeous! The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and happy. The outside sitting area was gorgeous with nice fire pits and blankets. I can’t wait to go back during the day to see the gorgeous vineyards????

Went there a little while back and the tasting was great so I decided today to get a bottle of wine for my home. The cork was so cheap in this $20 bottle of wine that half of the cork broke off using the corkscrew. We had to try to get the rest of it out which ended up leaving small pieces of the cork in the wine! Wouldn’t recommend buying their bottle wine at all!

This place is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I had a whole arrangement for a proposal but Covid-19 got in the way. I soon found Veronét. I made a reservation. Called and left a message to return my call so I could discuss the reservation/proposal. I got a called soon after and they helped me pick the BEST seat I have ever had at a vineyard. When we arrived they made us feel absolutely welcome. If we had any questions about wine they knew exactly what they were talking about. After the proposal they brought us complimentary champagne! Every employee there was so kind. The whole place was outdoor seating due to covid and it was socially distanced well. Very clean venue. They also have food trucks that go there. Haven’t met a food truck we didn’t like so they’ve got great taste. I cannot thank Veronét enough for making this possible!! 10/10 would recommend a visit ANY time of year.

Cheyenne was super awesome. She recommended a lovely Zinfandel for me to drink that has become one of my favorites! I’m not normally a red wine drinker but I dream about this one! Been to many Wineries with phenomenal views and phenomenal wines, however, most of them were commercially focused and approximately 1 1/2 -2hr drive from CLT. however, Veronèt all these qualities and better yet only 30 minutes away from CLT. WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.

So visit this vineyard!!! Such beautiful sceneries! Not a huge wine drinking had a dry wine which not crazy about more a sweet wine person when drinking wine and the dry wine was excellent! If u want to have a peace environment and sip wine, this is the place to be. You can also experience roasting s’mores around their fire pits. This winery is fantastic. I've sampled all of the wines currently on their menu and they are all delicious. There is something for everyone. The charcuterie boards are hearty and are large enough to share with a few people. The staff is great. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and all so nice. The patio is lovely with beautiful views of Crowders Mountain and Pinnacle Peak. Hanging out here is a relaxing, classy, and fun whether you're inside or out. I love the big comfy chairs inside and the Adirondack chairs outside. Now that it's getting cooler, the picnic tables on the lawn are fun. I highly recommend. All around great wine, good service, and a good vibe.

This is a really great local winery for the entire Charlotte area! It's located near Shelby and King's Mountain area, with a great view of both Kings Mountain and Crowder's Mountain. The wines are all very good, along with the very attentive staff, and impeccable decor and cleanliness. You will love sitting inside or outside on the porch and patio area. Nice appetizers too.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices. Gravel parking but many small cars were there. Food truck was present. They do have some appetizer type foods. The Cab and Rose were my favorites so far.

A lovely vineyard located outside a Charlotte, a hidden gem. Beautiful property that offers great, reasonably priced wine, and kind folks who work there. Nice spacious place regardless if you’re sitting inside and outside. Even with the COVID restrictions Veronet is a great place to go so you can “get out the house.” Employees sanitized your hands upon arrival and there are ample picnic tables with shade that are spaced apart. On my second visit it felt like it was 100 degrees outside but the shade and the breezes coming off the mountains made it pleasant to be outside. Water is also available free of charge. Overall, a great place to go and enjoy some wine tasting in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly people.

I was really excited about visiting Veronet! And sure enough the location and scenery were beautiful. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit less than ideal as people crowd the bars for tastings and don’t leave for 10-20 minutes. This made it really difficult for myself and others who simply wanted to buy wine by the glass or a bottle and not do the tasting. We had to wait in an unnecessarily long line. By the time I got to the front and asked if I could just buy a bottle, they pointed me to the other end of the bar where I had to get back in line. Very frustrating. Lastly, there was just not enough outdoor seating. Because of this we had to sit on the ground in the heat which doesn’t make for a very enjoyable wine experience. I know this place definitely has potential and the wine we bought was great! Just wish the user experience had been more thought out.

What a fantastic place!! Plenty of parking, incredible outdoor spaces, and an even more amazing indoor decor. TONS of space everywhere. An outdoor bar with all the wine available and a few bottles of beer, two indoor bars, and continuous use of your tab at each. Tasted several wines and they were all great. At one bar inside you can get wine slushes and wine flights. Reasonably prices. All of that warrants 5 stars but then!!! 1. Great service 2. A view of the mountain landscape 3. A new hiking trail on sight (1.5 miles) 4. Food trucks 5. Complementary juice boxes for kids and 6. Only 10-15 minutes away from Crowders mountain and 30 minutes from Charlotte.

This need works. The good. The buildings and vineyard it self will look good when all the vines grown into their own. They are probably 3 years from being able to produce wines from these vines. The views are nice and the place is clean. It will make a good wedding venue for the Ballantyne crowd. The location is very convenient the Charlotte metro market. I am sure this has something to do with the choice of location because it's not really what would be considered an idea vineyard area. The not so good. To me, they came off as pretty snooty for a vineyard that has not proven themselves. The guided tasting was one of the colder (non-personal) ones I have had in North Carolina. The wines are made offsite from grapes they did not grow. The wines were really light bodied and not really any better than could be acquired from the grocery store. These, so far, are not award winning types of wines that a vineyard should be so ahead of itself. They have only been open for about 6 weeks. Hopefully this will change as they grow and come into using their own grapes. Only time will tell. Update 10/1/2021. They have some estate grown wines available now. The Tannat and the Sauvignon Blanc were both good. A much better experience this visit.

Had the pleasure of visiting Veronét and the hospitality was great! I recommend the wine showing for a more intimate experience and knowledge intake. As a cigar company owner, I am always looking for a fine wine to pair a puro (cigar) with and their Cabernet Sauvignon goes excellent with a medium to full body stick. You definitely want to visit Veronét Vineyards & Winery.
