Making a reservation for a big group was completely useless, as we had to wait for 30 min anyways. The tasting is the most expensive in the area for no more reason than trying to be fancy. If you are coming to east Kelowna, it’s is probably best to leave this one last.

We did a few wineries during our vacation and Kitsch was by far our favorite experience. I think alot of it had tot do with our very knowledgable and friendly host/wine pourer Jess! We ended up buying a bottle and staying around to appreciate the spectacular view. Then purchased a few more bottles for gifts. I would and have recommended Kitsch Winery! Thank you Jess for the experience. My son and his wife will be visiting in two weeks, Im hoping to get a gift card so they can do the picnic basket experience. Birthday Present from Mother :-)

Last wine tour and definitely the best because of Riely. If I could describe my wine tasting experience with Riely, I would describe it as life changing. Superb experience from start to end! We did the Moke tour with Adam. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable the full time, (it was a bit rainy). The site itself is stunning! Equipped with amazing views and cool laid back vibes all around. After visiting with my mom and 6 year old kiddo today I would say this place definitely caters to all!

We had a great experience at Kitsch. Luckily when we arrived, there was room for us to do a tasting. Our hostess, Jess, was magnificent. She was all alone and managing multiple tastings and meal set ups. She was knowledgeable of all the wines and answered all the questions we had. After our tasting, we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine overlooking the beautiful view.

My friend and I popped by Kitsch on Friday, August 21st and had a wonderful experience! This is the third time I've visited the winery and the wine is ALWAYS phenomenal. Riely made our experience very memorable and confidently answered all of our questions. Such a stunning property and fun vibe! It's hard to leave with less than a case! Kitsch was the last winery during out bike tour and was our favourite by far. Our host's name was Ben and he made the experience far superior to other wineries we visited in the area. His mix of stand-up comedy and love for wine was very refreshing and his story-telling made it a truly unique memory. The wines were phenomenal and our personal favourite was "Block Party" which in a blend of their leftover grapes and is unique every year.

The small tasting room has a gorgeous view of both the vineyard and the valley. A tasting covered about six samples and each were presented with their detailed story and information regarding the growing or preparation process. We learnt quite a lot from this small winery.

The guy who attended to us was very impatient. We advised we didn't have a reservation and hoping to do a walk in, he said it'd be about a 30min wait and never came back to us for the hour that we waited. Had an attitude when we told him we'd like to put our name down. I understand if places are short staffed due to COVID19 however am not prepared to deal with staff that have an attitude and the incorrect approach to dealing with guests. We still paid to enjoy a bottle of wine while we waited. Will not be going back!

As a suggestion made by our helicopter pilot, Kitsch Wines was one of the highlights of our trip. Even though they may be small in size, the hospitality and wines make up for so much more. The house that sits on the winary might be one of the best features that you just don't expect by the location of the property. From the views to the wines, this could be the best secret Kelowna has to offer.

We visited the Kitsch Winery on Wednesday, August 12. Loved the area. The winery itself had amazing service and the wine was perfect. One of our favorites. If I had to make a comment it is the only winery where we had to use a porta potty. You are at this fabulous mansion with a nice pool so a bathroom would be appreciated. Will be back.

BARE Wine Tours

Cool place! Nice wines! But avoid the Riesling at all costs! Seriously don't even smell it. Smells like a tire fire. I've never smelled such a vile smell. They need to pour them all out or stop serving it. Ruined my day. Note to the owners: don't have a $40 minimum to waive tasting fee, I would have bought a couple bottles if you didn't.

I came here with my boyfriend, and we did the elevated wine tasting. This was the last stop on our winery list. I don't typically write reviews, but I would absolutely recommend this winery, and even recommend it being the last stop! The wine is amazing, and the vibe is very laid back. After our tasting, we grabbed a blanket and sat in the grass drinking a bottle of wine and taking in the view! The view is absolutely breathtaking. It was so nice to end our day at Kitsch. All I can say is that you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful location. Barret provided fruitful amounts of information, stemming from his vast knowledge of the wine making process. Extremely disappointing wine tasting experience at Kitsch Wineries. Our 1/2 hour tasting we booked lasted all of 12 minutes and was served in a warm wine glass. We barely had time to try the dribble in our glass before the next tasting was poured. Due to our experience it put me off purchasing any of their wines or recommending the winery to anyone else. A very different experience to any of the many tastings I've experienced at other wineries in the valley or anywhere else in the world.

Omg what a great winery! This place is so different than the others and the vibe is just perfect. If you are looking for a place less bougie than the wineries like Mission Hill and Quails gates, try Kitsch where you can chill on the grass using their blankets and parasol, listening to good hip hop and dancehall and enjoy their amazing white wines. A must !!!

Stunning views, lovely atmosphere, food looked fantastic but customer service was extremely disappointing. When we arrived someone asked for our name, wrote it down and told us to wait. No explanation of needing an appointment or reservation or expectation on wait time, so I guess or first mistake was thinking we would be looked after eventually. After 20 minutes of being completely ignored by staff and see many people arrive after us and being taken care of we stopped a staff member and explained we had been waiting awhile and we were wondering if we would be able to get a tasting in. We were rudely informed that she was doing tasting and had no idea what our situation was. Understandable but rudeness was not necessary and attitude after she was asked if someone was could help us was not appropriate. We ended up leaving and will definitely not recommend a visit to anyone. We visited 6 other wineries this day and had amazing customer service at every other one with pleasant explanations of covid practices and wait times.

Impressive property and view. Tasting experience not as impressive. 1/2 hr reserved tasting lasted 10 minutes, the condescending young man serving us seemed like he couldn’t wait to go home for the day. Stood there awkwardly staring at us as we tried to enjoy. We didn’t have our first tastes done and he was rushing to pour the next wine. Referred to one of the wines as tasting like tennis balls and rubber hoses. (odd attempt at a product pitch). Not the experience we were expecting when pulling up to such a stunning property. One could say he was having a bad day, but based on other one star reviews here, this seems to be a trend. Save your time and money and visit a place that appreciates your patronage.

The guide was great and made the tasting really fun - I think the staff are doing a fantastic job to keep the atmosphere lively. The property is also very beautiful with lovely views. We asked for an Elevated wine experience @ $25 a person, (which was the most expensive tour we paid for yet in the valley) and it left us with wanting more. The sparkling wine was incredibly yeasty smelling (and tasting), the chardonnay tasted so young it felt super forced, and the pinots were perhaps a bit more enjoyable than the other wines but lacked substance. Stepping back and looking at the wines we tried as whole - we felt like overall, there wasn't anything we wanted to purchase in the end. HOWEVER, the rose spritzers are fun, we did purchase those. I think with the steep price of the "Elevated experience" we would've expected perhaps a bit more of a tour of the facility, or the vines, more of a prelim of the history of the place; or perhaps even a piece of bread in between (haha), but it left something to be desired for sure....and I kind of wished I paid for the basic $10 tasting...

Come here for the Pinot Gris, or their Maria blend. The view is maybe the best of any Kelowna area winery. The sampling is generous, and without fees if you make a purchase. The Reisling and their reds still need work, but considering they've only been in business for 5 years, you will want to check this one out. While not certified organic yet, they are fully natural in their growing and producing.

The wine was delicious, and they have super cute T-shirts for sale. Don't just drive by! Go! The Riesling was my favorite.

Probably the best wine I've ever had in Kelowna. The only winery where I loved every single sample I tried and I couldn't decide which bottle to buy. Had a great time on Sunday at this winery on our last day before heading back to Calgary. We were an hour early for our tasting reservation but they were able to quickly accommodate us which was fantastic. Juliana performed our tasting and was fantastic. She gave us the background to the winery and the location and so forth which was very interesting. Her down to earth casual style was fantastic which was definitely in line with the ambiance and style of the winery - loved the concept of the Block Party which is a blend of all the left over grapes. Definitely a fun experience and walked away with pretty much a full case of a variety. Pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the wine. Great story to go home with and tell when sharing the wine with friends. Sorry for moving the sign but we had to take a picture!

Wine is ok. The atmosphere is like the kids came home and wanted to make wine in their parents backyard and that was exactly what happened! There was quite the selection (all white wine) of there lower label available for tasting. I really wanted to try the higher tier chardonnay before I buy a bottle, but it was not on the list to taste. I would recommend charging more for tasting the premium wines, so your guest can experience the best you have to offer.

Myself and a couple of friends came here for a tasting and picnic to celebrate my birthday. They were very accommodating when we had to change the time of our booking. However this required us to drive to the location to get assistance since they did not answer the phone number provided. When we arrived (a few minutes late) they were also behind on tastings as there were walk ins that they accepted while having only one wine educator on duty. We ended up waiting about 15 or so minutes until we were helped. Although the wine educator was funny and laid back, we felt very rushed through the tasting because a few other parties showed up after us close to their closing times. We got to enjoy some of the food by about 6:15 and only had 45 minutes to eat and take pictures before they closed at 7pm resulting in ya packing up most of the food to take home. The main venue is beautiful with amazing views but I would recommend showing up for an earlier time booking since they seemed to be understaffed.

We had such an amazing time at Kitsch Wines with Riley. We were a little bit late but that was no bother as we were happy to enjoy this beautiful estate and views. Riley was so much fun, really knowledgeable with the wines and we loved the relaxed atmosphere with the delicious wine. Riley also went above and beyond and got us a great reservation at another vineyard restaurant that was all full. Would definitely recommend coming to this vineyard!

Absolutely loved the setting. The tasting however, was rather disappointing. Firstly a $10 dollar tasting fee per person and the girl who gave the tasting was so distracted. She was more concerned about putting glasses away than attending to our very large group. Nevertheless, the wines were just ok - nothing great although it would have been nice to have more than a tablespoon per pour! Kind of difficult to really taste a wine when you can’t even get 2 decent sips. The most ridiculous part of it was that one of our group members works in the industry at a local Kelowna winery and they refused to give her a complimentary tasting. So from that experience we all will not go back and most definitely would not recommend it.

The place was immaculately kept and the wines were so excellent. We enjoyed a bottle of "Maria's Reisling" in the grass behind the building with an amazing view of Kelowna, lakes, and mountains. Kitch provided complimentary picnic blankets (our preference today over the also large and beautiful picnic tables). The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were greeted by an owner, Esther, who was super welcoming and inviting. We would be thrilled to spend more days here next season and look forward to share this experience with our family and friends.

Turned 2 away new visitors for a tasting with 6 people on the property. We could have easily been served, 4 open tables, rather than blown off. Not sure what kind of operation Kitsch is trying to run? So much potential, too bad it’s completely wasted. It’s summer in Kelowna, figure out how to serve more than 6 people. A fantastic little winery in a gorgeous location overlooking the Okanagan lake. If you're looking for a smaller, hidden gem this is the place! Wine was excellent and we both left with a bottle of each. I will for sure be back every visit to Kelowna!

They were running late on our picnic, which was a huge blessing in disguise because Barret took us on a fun, private Moke tour. Thanks Barret for the lovely experience. I would highly recommend this winery based on the experience and views.

We had some out of town family with us who really wanted to visit Kitsch Winery. Nice view, but not a nice experience. Tasting fee only waived with a large purchase per person when pretty much every other winery waives with a purchase. The wines are quite over priced for many places in the Okanagan. It was the customer service that left us dissapointed. We arrived in the evening before closing, and as soon as it was time to close they kicked everyone out. I’ve never had this kind of experience anywhere in the Okanagan before. When the focus is not on your customers, the experience is seriously lacking. Won’t return with guests.

Biggest vibe in all of Kelowna. The wine was great and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Benjamin, our wine taster guide , had a heavy handed pour and was great to chat with - he explained how the wine was made casually and effortlessly. For someone who had only ever previously heard the term "full bodied" used to describe people instead of wine, this was a very nice change of pace! He also smelled really good. Overall a lovely experience and I highly recommend

No refunds on wine when you do the tasting, which was disappointing. The view and estate was beautiful itself but the wines were mediocre. Our host was witty but quite sassy.. a bit much and we didn’t feel fully taken care of. Very aesthetic

We booked an elevated tasting at $20 per person and were disappointed that they were not upfront and told us they had no reds so we ended up tasting whites which was absolutely annoying. It was onLy when I asked halfway through the tasting, the gal said “oh we are not doing reds as we have none”. Trust is the first way to gain customers. Obviously they want the money more than a satisfied customer.

Only a few basic wines, stingy pours on tastings which were only whites. The views are the same as pretty much anywhere on a hill in Kelowna. Tasting fee only waived with $40 purchase per person when pretty much every other winery waives with purchase. Will not return.

We went to Kitsch this past week and our host was Ben- he was really nice and super knowledgeable about all the wines and it was a really laid back atmosphere with beautiful scenery! Jess also helped us during checkout, and we got a couple bottles of Block Party! She was outstanding and super lovely as well and gave some really great recommendations of other activities to do in Kelowna- she was such a gem :) It was a superior experience to the other wineries we had visited. We had a wonderful experience doing a tasting at Kitsch. The staff here are great, funny and entertaining. We were lucky and had Ben, who was a riot and had us laughing the whole time. Cant say enough good things about him, you can just tell he enjoys his job and enjoys the wine and that really makes all the difference! The wine was all great, and the property is stunning and I would happily go again. Dear Kitsch Winery owners, please give Ben a raise because in comparison to so many other wine taster leaders we had at other wineries, he brought the energy and passion to his job.

Over-the-top tasting experience outside with a view and the vineyard beside us. Kitsch Wines currently runs their operation out of the owners house. The garage, currently the tasting room, doubles as the winery in the off season. Plans to expand are underway. Our tastings included Block Party White, Dry Riesling, Maria's Block Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir. Keep and eye out for their winery special events.

We visit Kitsch annually and this time we were lucky to have Adam walk us thru the tastings. He gave a whimsical imaginative explanation tion to each wine--especially the rose. "It frolicks across the palate" and I highly recommend you try it! Perfect picnic wine. On our way out we were even offered a wagon to carry our wine out with. It turned into a photo op!
