Currently this firm receives a score of 4.7 out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is basically the top, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the valuation is very faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery is classified in the category of Winery.
Fantastic Pinot Noirs. Excellent food and service. Knowledgeable staff. Love the patio and large garden/picnic area. Incredible view of the Willamette Valley.
Mike, our wine steward was personable and a great conversationalist! I love his facts about the wine. Thank you to the young couple who gave us their seats so that my 80 year old mother in law could be more comfortable, wonderful cheese plate and great wines...$600 later...
Love this place! Amazing food, wine and service!
Very nice Pinot's and setting.
Great wine, food and service.
So very happy to find a normal. I miss this place and others like it. Great job by staff to keep it safe and enjoyable!
I could wax poetic about my recent (and first!) visit to Brooks. What a scenic property, comfortable tasting room, mouth watering selection of wines, and knowledgeable/friendly staff. A special thank you to Chelsea who provided us with such a positive experience! I work in the TR at Sokol Blosser and I cannot wait to recommend Brooks.
Fantastic wine and service!
Beautiful setting and wonderful service. Thank you Victoria!
Amazing stop in the Willamette Valley. My wife cried when we were seated so I knew it was the right stop! We reserved the outdoor patio and the view and service didn't disappoint. Thanks so much for making the outing a true experience, Zachary! The wine and views were wonderful!
I've made a mission of visiting as many Willamette valley vintners as possible and originally started North to South. Brooks made me go way south early due to an event of no consequence that put me in touch with them a bit out of order. They and their wines have been nothing if not exemplary. I'm definitely a Burghound/Pinwhoe who goes out of his way to follow a lead. Brooks makes more interesting well-priced distinctive Pinot Noir reds than you can shake your proverbial stick at. Pinot Gris, Riesling, Melon all in there as well, but they have a real homey operation that is very food friendly and their events are to be sought out. The family story is rather special as well. I'll let you list your specifics, but Pinot Noir is very personal so I'll be general in recommending Brooks unabashedly.
I rarely leave reviews but this place really required one, and unfortunately, it’s not good. We came here with a reservation and high expectations for a great experience based on prior reviews - we were so excited. And it’s true that the location is beautiful and the wine is great - but the experience was not. We were seated outside and promptly ordered two tastings and a cheese plate. As soon as the cheese plate arrived, so did the bees - ALL OVER our table, food, and us. We put the untouched food at the end of the table to keep them away, but couldn’t enjoy our wine for quite awhile as it took what felt like forever for someone to come see what was going on and attempt to fix the problem (which wasn’t really successful). We ended up just finishing our wine quickly at another table and then waited, again, to pay for it because the wifi was not good enough to swipe cards outside. We were finally able to pay and left a tip - because none of this was the fault of our server, who tried her hardest. It just felt like there was no management around to fix issues and support staff, and in turn felt like we as customers sure weren’t that important. Hopefully our experience was an isolated incident and this review helps the Brooks team improve. What a bummer!
We at the bar, have one tasting, did not came back to see us 20.00 per each tasting.will not go back.
Great views, kid friendly, and great wine. Too bad due to the way they produce wine it makes their bottles crazy high but it is good wine. Came here specifically for the views while drinking wine and the fact it was kid friendly!
03/16/19: 4.25 out of 5 - Brooks Winery was established in 1998, and has wonderful Pinot Noirs and Rieslings for a young winery. The tasting room is rustic with a hint of modern, but surprisingly spacious with outside seating with great views. A great thing about Brooks is that there is food available for small-bite comsumption, and a few beer choices. A big plus! The staff are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Definitely a great winery to try once for tasty Pinot Noirs and Riesling with room for improvements. Enjoy!
Great winery. Fantastic service. Felt very safe there. Had all the protocols in place to make it safe.
BEST FOOD EVER! Menu changes Monthly, and I have Never been dissappointed. Great service, fantastic wine, and they have beer on tap. Total win!
Dayson, Amber, Brandon, and the entire Brooks staff are very passionate about the winery and it's great history! They love to share with you the stories and experiences that make Brooks a top level winery. The wines are fantastic! I highly recommend this winery!
Great view of the Valley, nice wine tasting menu and great wine.
I love visiting Brooks Wine when I am in the Salem area. Lovely Pinots and Reislings with delicious food and a beautiful setting to enjoy with friends.
Great service, delicious food. Fabulous ambiance
We made reservations on a Saturday and this place did not disappoint! I opted for the wine tasting flight and loved every single wine, which doesn’t usually happen for me. (I’m not big on dry wines, but found that the wine here isn’t too dry for me) We ordered 2 of the 3 charcuterie boards and we really liked them, I just wish they came with a little bit more on them. The atmosphere was pretty and clean, staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and the view was gorgeous. I will definitely be returning!
Beautiful winery with a outdoor patio for additional seating. Food is really good too
Arrived at Brooks to celebrate our 14th anniversary. Staff was wonderful. The had a reserved table for us in their air-conditioned tasting room and cut flowers for me that they had picked from there extensive garden. Just a beautiful place and delicious wine! Always enjoy our time there.
Great view, friendly servers
Beautiful view of Salem, Woodburn, the valley between. They have public/guest Wi-Fi access but I can never remember the password. Does anyone who's used it remember what it was?
I went yesterday with a group of five. Reservations were easy to make, there was a beautiful table set up for us when we arrived and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Delicious wine, gourmet food and fantastic views. We will be back again!
Beautiful winery. Lovely Staffs
Great wine, great food, and great view!!!
Brooks Wine tasting room is one the most beautiful in the valley. You can sit out on the deck and on a clear day see four mountains! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and happy to help you. Currently they are reservations only so make sure to get a seating time before hand.
Always a fascinating place, great food and a legendary story of tragedy and life.
5-stars always for Brooks. In my opinion, the experience at this tasting room is unlike any other in the valley. All of the wines are divine, the food is delicious, the service is spectacular, and the view of Mt. Hood on a clear day is absolutely incredible! I love the tasting flight with the brussels sprouts. One of our family's favorite servers is Andrea (Andy), and Dayson is awesome as well!
One of our new favorite places to visit in Willamette. The wines are outstanding, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful and the view and tasting room are probably the best of any we've visited. I can't recommend it enough and won't make another trip to Willamette without stopping.
Great atmosphere, amazing food menu
Love Brooks Winery! The view is one in a million the wine and food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful! A must to visit when driving around the wine country in Yamhill county Oregon.
The wine and food here are great and the service is exceptional. The servers are knowledgeable and super friendly. The view from the patio is spectacular. Will definitely return when we visit Oregon again.
Great wine people and view.
Firs of all, you can't find a more gorgeous view. Second, the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming! Even though it was fairly busy, April was so attentive and had lots of great suggestions for us, getting to know both our tastes and our price range to find a bottle of wine that everyone in the group would love. We ended up with the Amycas White blend and thoroughly enjoyed it (I took a bottle home, too!) It was my first visit here but definitely won't be my last, can't wait to try more of the wines and the food too!
Beautiful facilities with views that keep us coming back time and time again. Really enjoy all their reds. If you like a sweet white then I recommend "sweet p". Favorite red is "cahiers." If you are a brussel sprout fan you've gotta order some! They are one of a kind! Can't pass em up!
Wine tasting was very well done. We learned a lot and had a great time.
We went here for the first time for lunch and wine tasting! Delicious food with great wines! Such a beautiful winery! We love having our meals from the deck. It has a great view! Although they completely forgot to bring us their signature Brussels Sprout dish that we ordered, we did enjoyed our time there!
What a great afternoon. This winery has an unbeatable view of 2 mountains and rolling hills. It was very kid friendly, our 2 year old loved walking through the gardens and visiting the chickens. It was easy to have our dog with us as well. The food was a perfect summer lunch to along with the wine- we enjoyed a bottle of the rosé.
Amazing beautiful!! Great place. Sweet P is the best..????
Terrible ! Go for the wine! When you offer salted code with mash potatoes all mixed together please question the chef!! My friend ordered it and couldn’t even take a second bite. When she told the waitress, she said nothing, did nothing, offered nothing...The whole table tasted it and couldn’t finish it for her it was that bad!! The wine didn’t even cover up the taste of bad fish. Don’t go for the food is all I’m saying! Even the cheese plater is sad. How do you mess that up? The staff ehh. But who knows maybe the staff was having a bad day, I hope because they seem not quality like the food.
Zachary was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host. We had a great time chatting with him and trying some really, truly good wines. Oh and the fromage board was beautiful and delicious. This place has really sparked off an interest in me for biodynamic wines. I can't wait to try more.
We recently visited Brooks Wines for the first time with our daughter. We sat on the sofas looking out through the vast wall of glass over the vineyards across the valley to the Cascades. The wines are fabulous - dry finishes, wonderful layers, earthy, musical and down right pretty. Service was warm friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a cheese plate and a bottle of Pinot Blanc. We stayed about 3 hours, and will return often. We maintain an inventory of Brooks Wines, Pinot's, Amycus, Pinot Blanc and Reislings - All wonderful.
Great wines, friendly staff, absolutely beautiful view, and delicious food! We wish we had scheduled a whole afternoon to hang out on the patio!
The wine is absolutely delicious. Food review is coming soon.
Lovely location with excellent views of the winery from the modern tasting room. Everyone in the group found something they really liked from the tasting menu. The menu was decent, but the charcuterie plate could have included more variety for it to really stand out when compared to other wineries. More local cheeses perhaps?
We were excited to visit again now that the tasting room is open after the COVID emergency. The reservation process was simple, and plenty of social distancing procedures in place. We had a new tasting room associate, Abigail, who was wonderful! She had our club shipment ready to go prior to our arrival which made for an easy check out. Thanks again Abigail for a great day!
Visited today! Amazing highly recommended. Tyson and team were amazing food was good. Don't miss out! Picture is the skirt steak salad..
We're actually still sitting here in the gorgeous outdoor patio and couldn't wait to leave a review for this gem! Dayson, the manager, and April took such great care of our large group of 12 + 1 baby. We walked the grounds, had delicious coffees and lots of snacks from the menu. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and your kind service. If you're looking for a family-friendly place with great views and even better service, look no further. Don't forget to make a reservation!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank the Brooks team for a fantastic and comfortable experience during this weird Phase 1 re-opening time. The reservation system was easy to use, the staff were very good at making sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Dayson was my server and he is fantastic! He kept checking on us and even was able to change out a bottle on my shipment (I wouldn't normally, but I cannot get enough of the Rose'). They even brought in luxury portable bathrooms that were so nice. I highly recommend the garden area or lower patio as it is gorgeous. Thank you for another great visit!
Great tasting on the patio
Friendly and helpful wine tasting staff, very comfortable room. Also had a pretty good selection of food.
Delish wine. Awesome property. Amazing staff. A favorite!!
Great staff, great views... Patio is raised on second story deck, very inviting... Wines, beer, tapas! Absolutely love this place! Go watch"An American Wine Story", then go here. You won't be disappointed!
Amazing wines, great service, we loved the wine tasting and had an excellent charcuterie board. Would go back in a second, off the beaten path.
If you didn't reserve a seat/tasting ahead of time, don't bother coming.
Very good food and nice place
The views from the back deck and patio areas are absolutely stunning. Also, some of the best Pinot Noirs around. Our server was very knowledgeable about the neighboring vineyards and just the right amount of attentive. Would definitely visit again!
The views at this place are unbeatable. We wanted to try more white wine in the area but found the Riesling a bit sweet for my liking. The fake bird noises were a bit irritating after a while but we did end up staying more than two hours enjoying the views and speaking with the super knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Very pleased! We used a Oregon Wine Glass Pass and this was our last stop. Great atmosphere and awesome service.
Brunch @ Brooks ???? Best Chicken & waffles
What a wonderful Winery/Vineyard. Great heated outdoor patio and even better Wine. Friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend to any wine aficionado. I will be returning soon.
My favorite vineyard on our trip! We visited June 24th 2016. The view is beautiful. The tasting room atmosphere is relaxed and upscale at the same time. The staff is the most gracious and hospitable I've encountered. It is obvious they love their jobs and live their mission statement. This was our first winery we visited on our trip and remained our favorite out of all we visited. We purchased more wine here than anywhere else during our stay, which goes to show they know their wine! We were pleased to find both reds and whites to sample here. We had the meat and cheese plate and discovered an Olympian brand sausage we love as well as Chef Abbey's Pinot poached cherries. I begged for the recipe. They were so gracious to put up with me. Perhaps I'll still receive it? ;-)
Really great food. Good wine. Will definitely be back soon
Amazing wine, service and food. Brandon was friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel like old friends and regulars. Highly recommend this as a stop on your wine country tour.
Some of the best Pinot noirs we had during our wine tasting trip. Wonderful service, very knowledgeable commentary on each wine (Thanks, Zachary). Amazing view in a beautiful location. Views all the down the hill.
Beautiful venue for an intimate event.
As always, Brooks doesn't disappoint. To go decadent lunch was amazing. Bought enough bottles to last me until the next visit. ????
GREAT WINES AND VIEW. I WILL BE BACK
Visited this place for Somm 3 premier. Enjoyed the movie with Pinot and truffle popcorn. Great ambience and big tasting room. Fantastic arrangement.
One of the most innovative wineries in the valley. Pushing the boundaries in pinot and Riesling. I would definitely make a point to stop here for lunch and taste the amity eola ava! You won't be disappointed!
Great place to go for great WINE
Great wine, food, and atmosphere.
The worst greeting experience ever. The greeter said “maybe we can sit you maybe you can get food downstairs. I’m not sure.” We sat ourselves at the bar and shared that we had never been here and were quite confused by the greeter and this server was no better. Clearly volume is their goal not experience or quality. Sent us downstairs and provided no details. We wanders then found downstairs after being pointed the wrong way by the greeter. Customer service is lost by this organization. The food is amazing and is possibly the only saving grace. I can’t say enough bad things about the people that work here. Complete disappointment. Please don’t waste your time. There’s too many wonderful wineries in the area to experience over the lack of professionalism that the Brooks winery staff has.
Great wines, great views, and great service. Highly recommend!
I always have a great time with my wife we bring the kids the food is great and the servers are very knowledgeable
A little late on this review, but wanted to make sure to get it done finally. We took the Elevated Experience about a month ago. We were a group of 4, with a variety of tastes and knowledge. April was an incredible host and the wines were awesome. She catered the wines and discussion to each of us. Seeing the winery and activity shortly after harvest completed was great. Chris stopped by to talk to us a couple times, and he was able to provide more color on the wines and wine-making process. I couldn't more highly recommend the winery or the Elevated Experience.
Loved it, great wines, knowledgeable people. Definitely ordering some of the wines sampled.
Delicious wines, super friendly and knowledgeable staff and heartbreaking/warming story (Only suggestion might be to find easier serving set up for the snacks)
My fiance and I visited Brooks wine during the pandemic. We reserved a space on the patio and had a really enjoyable experience. Brooks folks did a great job of socially distancing tables and making sure party arrivals were staggered. Service from our server, Andrea, was spot on. My fiance thought it was the best fried chicken he had eaten in a long while. Great view, excellent experience. We'll definitely be back!
Lovely winery and tasting room. We got a red and white flight and everything we tried was good to buy-able. ???? Their Monks Gates Riesling was excellent. We also got the Plateau de Paco; it was also very good. They also have lunch selections. Lovely views!
Thank you so much, Brooks family, for our lovely time there yesterday! You have converted me to your delicious Rieslings, something I never thought I'd hear this Napa gal say! All the wines and food were great, the view incredible, and the service fantastic (thank you, Steve!). We also very much appreciate your commitment to the environment. We'll be back!!
Here's the deal. The wine was pretty good and we had great service however, it felt a bit ridiculous to have to wear face masks when we were not consuming wine or eating food BUT it is okay for the whole kitchen staff to make food without face masks. The only way I found out about this was after I went to the bathroom and passed the kitchen, where the doors were left wide open for all guests to see inside. This was on March 6th 2021, so almost a full year into the pandemic. It honestly felt like it was for show to have guests wear their face masks inside and hold those guests to a higher standards than the employees working there getting a paycheck. Frankly, I was appalled by this as someone who works in the industry. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone based on this situation. Brooks Wine, you cannot hold your customers to a higher standard than what you hold your own employees to.
Excellent staff very knowledgeable and friendly Great atmosphere.
Brooks is an amazing experience. The staff are very accommodating and super friendly. Great stories about the vineyards and their wine. I highly recommend it.
I have never had a bad experience at Brooks. If the wine was vinegar, the view and friendly customer service oriented staff would make up for it. But the wine is exceptional.
Awesome! Our guy was awesome and the wines were amazing!!!
Brooks Winery is an absolute gem! The menu is fantastic, wine selection is dangerously delicious, and the service is unparalleled. We were visiting a more prominent winery in the area and when we asked for a recommendation about where to go next, they suggested Brooks, and they certainly did not let us down. To be recognized by the public is one thing, but Brooks has a wonderful reputation with their colleagues / competition as well, which speaks volumes. During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Allison, Jackie, and Amber - all are gracious, knowledgeable, and unobtrusively attentive. Allison was our main server and we were blown away with her service. Allison did a fantastic job educating us about their story and commitment to organic and biodynamic farming, while still being authentic, funny, and engaging. She also gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Portland. Honestly, Allison's hospitality was so lovely that we would have come back even if we didn't like the wine. Brooks has a lot of things going for them - an approachable and unique wine list, great food pairings, cool ambiance, a beautiful view, etc - but what we can’t stop raving about is the service. Major kudos to the entire team, we really appreciate you!
My boyfriend and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Oregon and visited Brooks Winery for the first time. We had a great experience. Tyson, our server, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He made our visit even better. Every wine we tasted was delicious. I highly recommend checking out Brooks Winery next time you are in the Willamette Valley. We can’t wait to go back!
Love this winery! Their support of the local businesses is amazing, and their wine is soooo delicious as is the food! The facility is gorgeous, and their view is stunning. The only thing missing here is a hammock so I could stay longer!
Stopped in for a quick tasting and was pleasantly surprised. The server Abigail was a very helpful wine guide through the Brooks winery selections. She was so good she convinced us to get some food, which did not disappoint. From delicious brussel sprouts, great views, and tasty wines this place is a great stop.
We loved Brooks winery. We went here because my wife loves Riesling’s, and they had a great selection. The charcuterie went well with our wine tasting and the views are great!
It was fun, tasted lots of good wine and met some new friends. No food selection and was looking forward to eating, had to go eat afterwards.
Brandon is amazing! We always have such wonderful visits. Sweet P is my absolute favorite wine. Keep doing what you do♡
Lovely setting, great wine, wonderful food & really friendly staff
Location ,service knowledgeable, variety of taste options
Excellent pinot noir and riesling. Great and knowledgeable representatives. Beautiful views. Highly recommended.
One of our favorite wineries!
We had a great time. Wine, food, service, and scenery were all outstanding. Great winery to relax and have some lunch.
Awesome folks great food and service gourmet dining
Great place for wine tasting. The service was awesome and food was yummy.
Great venue, great wine
View of a lifetime, yes. Friendly service, yes. Menu.... superb. But left completely let down after they denied to sell a “third” bottle to us a couple. They said they have policy to limit one bottle purchased per person. We purchased two separately as a couple and were not allowed to purchase any more wine. I felt like we were being watched by the greeter who was clearly taking tabs on who was with who and who bought what. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Will not be returning.
Brooks winery never disappoints! We are wine club members and come here frequently for the gourmet food, delicious wines and spectacular view. Service is always wonderful. We will be back soon. ❤️
My favorite Eola Hills Winery, great view, food, wine, beer. Accommodated our large party!
Comfortable setting, friendly service, excellent wines & food. 3 different flights to choose from, great spot for us as my wife loves riesling and I love pinot noir. Also, I highly recommend chef Abby's monthly pairings. Beautiful view when weather is nice.
Brooks is an amazing winery with a seemingly great business model. My wife and I had a table at their Thanksgiving/Holiday art & craft event. We were treated like royalty. The staff is friendly, efficient and organized plus very responsive to our needs as well as the customers, from everything I witnessed for the two days we were there. And I haven't mentioned the wine yet, which was excellent! Beautiful views of four mountains and the vineyard also. Just a very warm and welcoming environment!
Brandon took really good care of us. Great wines, staff and food. Will be coming back frequently.
Great wines, friendly, knowledgeable staff, good food, in a warm, comfortable ambiance. Highly recommend.
Must see near Portland... Good wine yumy food.
Loved the outdoor seating under the lemon shade! Great service and tasty wine.
Great staff and wine. Our favorite chill spot!
Lovely wines, garden and atmosphere.
Love the people. Love the service. Love the story. So happy to be a member here!
Excellent environment, you don't get rushed, and of course great wines!
