What a great little gem of a #winery just outside #Louisville! Support #local business and pop in for a tasting or event(live music outside!). Conveniently located off I-65 on a pretty winding road up the hill. Brooks Hill Winery makes a great #sidetrip if you're passing through and want a quick stop or a refreshing break. AND, you can snag some #souvenirs and #gifts while you're at it. You can buy Brook Hill wines at stores around town, but I was in the area so popped into the winery's retail shop. The incredibly helpful, camera-shy shop attendant helped me find a nice selection of wines for an upcoming cookout including a sangria kit! I also got some bottles for personal use. I can't wait to try the Chocolate Razz -- Raspberry wine with hints of chocolate! Great prices on #local wine! Most bottles were around $15. Beautiful, fun label art. Wonderful selection of all the wines -- dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, red, white, rose, fruity, flavored, and tasty normal wines. Seriously, you want it? Brooks Hill Winery has it. Accessories too!

Sampled 5 wonderful wines. How do you make a decision? Enjoyed a wine, cheese, humus & cracker plate with a chilled bottle on the porch. Also took home our favorites. Friendly, atmosphere & helpful staff. We came to Kentucky to enjoy the Bourbon tour, but so far, wine trumps Bourbon. Very enjoyable evening snack.

Great little winery out in Brooks, beautiful setting and scenery. Lots of wine options and the tasting was fun/good value. Everybody there seemed to have a cheese tray too! Would definitely recommend for a weekend date or if you’re a fan of sweet wine.

Do not go here! I drove over an hour to visit. They would not serve me because they were closing in 20 minutes. They lady was extremely rude. Mind you, I travel a lot and visit a lot of wineries and usually buy a case or so because I appreciate local businesses. Do not waste your time here.

I went to Brooks Hill last weekend for Bachelorette Party and this winery was absolutely perfect! Brooks Hill Winery is set back in the hills a little ways, gorgeous fall foliage made the perfect backdrop for our wine drinking festivities. The two staff working were great and took very good care of us. If I am ever around Brooks, KY again I will definitely be stopping by this quaint little winery again.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The ladies are extremely nice and have a great sense of humor. They get to know you, ask what your preferences are and make suggestions that worked well with each person in our group. We enjoyed so many of the wines and left with a few bottles and a wine purse. They have a nice fireplace that added so much to the ambiance. It is a very clean and well decorated establishment. This is definitely on our list for a visit in the spring.

The wine tasting was fine. The customer service from the owner was not. Instead of greeting us as customers and asking us nicely to place our daughter even further from the bar than we already had her, she walks in the door and very loudly says, "she can't be at the bar. She needs to move. Its against the law." Then she proudly proclaims she is a lawyer. I have never been treated so poorly in a winery. The law is what it is. That's not my issue. My issue is how I was treated as a paying customer, especially in front of other customers. The owner needs to take a few lessons in customer service. She could have handled the situation way better and we might not have walked out without purchasing anything.

Customer service was terrible. The lady ask which bottle of wine we wanted. We said that we didn’t want a bottle. We wanted to taste because it was our first time there. She said that they stop serving when the music starts. I ask when does it start? She said at six. I said it’s 5:35! We actually got to taste but left immediately. Not ever going back!

Stopped here when passing through on our RV travels. Come and visit, you will enjoy it. First the Wine tasting and then a cheese platter, crackers, feta chips and hummus while sitting outside with a glass a vino overlooking the vineyard. Staff is super friendly. Will come back for sure and recommend to others.

Fair wine but lacks body...also they won't let you taste at the tables like most other wineries. Very set in stone procedures that may conflict with customer wishes. Younger staff not knowledgeable of wine appreciation or making. Needs re-tooling in terms of customer satisfaction.

I recently just lost my husband and I know he wanted to come back to this place same day next year. I plan on going back in remembrance of him I miss you my love.

I had high hopes for this place as I went with a friend from out of town. I bought a groupon and cashing it in was a huge pain both before and after arrival. The server, Michelle, was super rude. She told me I had to have a Groupon account so she could hit 'redeem' on it (No cell service exists out here to even do that). It shouldn't let me check out as a guest if this was a problem OR the business should maybe buy the actual scanner if they are that worried about people trying to reuse the Groupon. Michelle yelled out all the wine descriptions to everyone in the tasting room so she "didn't have to say them twice." She rushed us through the tasting and was very adamant about being out of there at exactly 5pm. She practically shoved us outside with a glass of wine and our cheese plate. When we got outside, the wasps and bees were so bad and being allergic, we decided to take our tray inside. Michelle approached us and said that we couldn't eat and drink inside because of COVID-19 unless you are an employee even though there was another woman sitting inside eating and drinking and hanging out with Michelle. The woman said to us, "yeah, I'm kind of an employee because I help make the food." Great. Some random lady is helping to make customer's food, eating and drinking inside, but that's not a COVID-19 violation? Gotcha. We will not be back.

Fabulous little winery. Lovely couple serving wine customers tastes. Reasonable wine tasting at $5 for 5 tastes. Wine is delish...tried Sauvignon Blanc, Morning Sky, Riesling, Kentucky Tradition and Black and Blue (Blackberry and Blueberry). Bought seven bottles:) The grounds are very inviting. Stop and taste. You will be glad you did.

The wine was good. The cabernet sauvignon was really good. The customer service, well, I'd give negative stars for that. We were talking with the hostess about the wine and she said, "You didn't come her to talk with me. You have a friend to talk to." Stunned. Won't go back because of that. Dont recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed our afternoon visiting this winery. They make a variety of wines from dry to sweet. Their semi sweet and semi dry were our favorite. They woman who helped us with the tasting was wonderful to talk to and offered a lot of information about the grapes they grow and the process.
