they sell alcohol. the customers can be moody sometimes, and depending on the cashier you get expect a judgmental glare while you are being rung up. otherwise its a good place. the security guard is awesome! really funny guy. The beer selection is always changing so don't expect to see the same thing twice if it isn't mass produced.

The single malt scotch selection at this store was fairly good, but can't compare it to the one at Cornwall Drive. Always found someone who could help out finding the obscure vermouth or bitters. As like any other LCBO store, you can place a custom order for a bottle provided it is available in another LCBO store.

Large selection of beer in the cooler including big variety of Ontario microbrews. Usually don't have my favourites from Muskoka, Side-Launch, Nickel Brook and Great Lakes so have to go to Fortinos or track them down through LCBO website.

Decent variety of products, although the past few times I went here over the past month I tried to get Hennessy and they were always out. The staff is pretty helpful and told me to go to the store downtown. The smaller LCBO downtown had it. But they have plenty of beer, wine and vodka. If that’s your thing.

There is a rather large selection of product at this LCBO, perhaps the second most in Burlington with the LCBO on Fairview having more. The Cold Room is good for people who like Beer, one wall of Ciders to choose from. Their selection of Rum and Whiskey isn't bad but if you want more expensive bottles or even better tasting but not super expensive options they don't typically have them.

The LCBO location at Maple Avenue is the best I've been to. Don't bother doing the same day pickup if it's evening, the manager/supervisor told me deadfaced that I made my order at 5:30 and they stop picking orders at 6(3hours before close) and I offered to grab the product and just cancel it, i know it's a holiday but even after I offered, he kept going on about the order time, guy looked like he needed a nap or a hug I don't know. As with almost every LCBO, this is what happens with no competition on the market.

Always happy with the service and help here! Unfortunately, today we witnessed a customer verbally abusing the staff and I find this unacceptable. She was obviously taking out her frustrations on the cashier and if I was a manager, I would have escorted this customer out of the store. The staff handled it as best they could. Apparently this happens all the time and I hope the LCBO might consider putting up signs saying that they will not tolerate abuse of staff.

LCBO is laid out really strange compared to others that I have been to. I find it difficult to navigate to buy wine with the coronavirus arrows on the floor (more towards the second isle near after the vqa/Niagara local wine) and where they put the line ups. It was extremely busy when I went given the impending holidays. I went to get wine (Oyster Bay Chardonnay) and some spiced rum/butterscotch schnapps. Employees were knowledgeable, but some of them could have been a bit nicer. They seemed passively irritated with the volume of people in the store, but I would've been as well so it's understandable.

I do find it a bit cheeky that wineries are now charging more than the cost of a glass of wine for a 3 x 2 oz tasting flight. It's 17 here if you get the 'premium' wines. There is sure to be a wine you like here.

One of the sourest customer service reps I’ve ever encountered. She treats everyone like they have the plague. If she is so worried about getting sick she should be wearing a Mask like the rest of the world right now. As I am 52 years old, I do not like to be treated like a 2 year old. Most employees are wonderful but one asked me if I wanted to donate to McMaster Children’s Hospital. As I had been at the store the day before where I did contribute, I had to return as I forgot something, the employee asked me if I could prove it. I take offence to this attitude so I asked if he could prove I didn’t and he said yes we have cameras everywhere. Wow, very bad attitude, most employees just say thank you.

Not the biggest or best location, but adequate and generally has pretty good selection and friendly, efficient service. Parking is fine but avoid peak periods when that whole plaza can be unpleasant. Only complaint is that they (the LCBO, not just this location) dropped Air Miles for Aeroplan, and then in the middle of COVID! Who is a frequent flyer these days?? this place is usually pretty great. there’s lots of selection and the staff is pretty much always very helpful and friendly. however… today there was a woman there (i have never seen her at this location before) who was being so rude to all customers who went up to her till, and also very impolite to other staff! i think her name tag said customer service manager too!! the way she was treating everyone was completely unprofessional and unpleasant especially for someone with her job title.

During this difficult time everyone should be more accommodating. I went in to buy wine. I was buying 4 bottles of wine and asked my 29 year old daughter to carry two, as I could only carry two in my arms. The large man on the cash was very rude, first to the lady who went before us and then to us. He took the wine back that my daughter had carried to the cash for me, because she didn’t have ID. This cashier was very rude and condescending. The public are encouraged to make fewer trips to the stores during these difficult times but this clerks actions caused me to have to make another trip. Obviously someone letting his authority go to his head.

The LCBO is another example of why the government should not run business or have some control over products. The selections at the so called liquor store is very limited. If you're looking for specialties you're better off looking in another province like Albert, or go south to the USA. There you will find a liquor store that meets the demands and expectations of any consumer.

Spoke to two staff people the first was not helpful at all, and just pointed and said go into the cooler. Product wasn't there. My fro da and I looked for about 10 minutes. Second person gets a 10. The younger lady went right over to the product and showed us where it was and explained it was not sold on its own. I would buy from her not the fist crusty woman. 2.5 stars.

Clean and stocked regular with rare drinks. Nice to see that they have stock of glenfiddich 14yr and 15yr. Great gifts for my friends and family who celebrate new houses, marriages and other special occasions. Haven’t purchased the 18yr yet but I’m sure I will soon. Also they have gift bags so you can be in and out quick.
