The atmosphere is pretty great. Pack a picnic with friends and enjoy your picnic while sampling their wines! Try 6 samplers and buy a glass or two! If you buy a glass, a small sampling of cheese is provided as well (also homemade). Two of their wines have placed very high in international competitions (I believe their red port finished second between to Portugal and Portugal). I think it's their Rose that also finished second. I personally loved the white Porto. So yummy as an aperitif! I'll definitely be back with picnic in hand!

Tom and Janet are the best! They are so warm and welcoming you feel like you've known them for years after visiting with them. They have an absolutely beautiful setup here. We are looking forward to going to a dinner / wine tasting event this year. I cannot recommend enough how amazing their hard apple cider. It is not too dry and not too sweet but right in the middle. Looking forward to trying the pear cider as well. They make and bottle all of their beverages on site and even make cheese. I'm going to sign up for Tom's cheese making class. Also check the website for their dinner/ wine tasting/ and live music events throughout the summer. It's so worth the drive on the weekend. Just 30 minutes west of Barrhaven. Love supporting local businesses like this!

We happened upon this winery, guided by the road signs, and found a gorgeous post and beam winery with a lovely terrace of barrel tables for a relaxed wine tasting. They do weddings and other events here as well as wine tours and tastings. What a gem and so close to Ottawa. I'll be back with my wine club to do the full tour.

I took my family for a leisurely Sunday drive and we saw a sign for the Jabulani Vineyard. Never having been to a vineyard before, I was a little nervous at first. The owner Tom and his wife made us feel right at home. We sampled some delicious whites and reds, had some excellent smoked cheese and enjoyed ourselves for about an hour. Our kids had fun at the bond looking at the fish and the Blue Heron that was out hunting for frogs. What a beautiful place, right between Munster and Richmond. Excellent wines!

The trip to the Vineyard was an amazing experience, the wine tasting patios are awesome, I got to taste 5 different wines all grown and made locally. Tom the owner is a great sport, humble and extremely knowledgeable. Jabulani Vineyard is a strongly recommended place in the summer season when you're in and around Ottawa.

Jabulani was an absolute dream wedding venue! We had our wedding ceremony at the Old Orchard (outdoor) and our reception at the wine bottling building at the beginning of June 2018. It was not only a beautiful romantic place but working with Janet and Tom was so easy and they were truly helpful and accommodating, from our very first visit to see the venue to our wedding day itself. I cannot recommend this place enough. The wine is so delicious (and the cider!!!), perfect atmosphere and great spot to relax and have some drinks on a summer afternoon. We'll definitely be visiting this summer for some wine!

Excellent covid safe afternoon outing. Make sure to book your wine tasting via their website. We tried six wines and had the $10 cheese plate very suitable serving size for 2 people. If you are a larger group I’d suggest getting more than one cheese plate. We had a nice walk on the property. Will definitely return when we have guests.

Didnt do the tour, but my girlfriend says great things. I'm commenting on the wine -- a very surprising taste that I highly recommend. Don't let the label fool you, the red has a toasty, enjoyable deep flavour. Tasting the wine makes me regret that I missed out on tour, but I'll be sure to make the effort the next time I'm in Ottawa.

We had our wedding at this beautiful vineyard and winery. We had visited one other winery, but as soon as we saw Jabulani we knew this was our venue. It is stunningly gorgeous. Our first look photos in the orchard had the prettiest light, and our guests keep telling us how gorgeous our ceremony site (crush pad) looked with the vines in the background. The venue is so beautiful that we didn’t have to add a whole lot of decor - a little greenery and floating candles complimented the wine barrels and harvest tables perfectly. The wine is lovely too - I originally wanted just white and red, but decided to add rose after our tasting because it was such a nice wine. Tom and Janet were so gracious and kind in helping plan our perfect day - from the wine tasting to helping navigate the many covid restrictions. They were so responsive and even allowed us to have an outdoor dance floor. They take such pride in their vineyard and winery and it really shows. There are a few rules and only certain caterers are allowed, but this is because they take such pride in their space that they want to make sure the experience is all it can be. The caterers on the short list are fantastic and suitable to any budget. If you are conscientious couple and want to have a beautiful wedding, look no further. Photo credit: Rosielle + co.

Jabulani was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony and I would highly recommend it. Not only was it beautiful and secluded at the pond, but being able to have wine barrels and grape vines in our photos was outstanding. Our guests were thrilled that they could sit down and have a wine tasting while we finished having our professional photos taken. Tom, Janet, and the rest of the crew are always extremely welcoming. One glance at Jabulani and its beautiful vineyard will make the love, passion, and care put into their wines and food very evident. All of their offerings come with a story to tell, a reason for why they were made and a genuine love for the craft. There are no corners cut, every single thing they're offering here has been considered and cared for. We have been visiting them for some time now and it's always a relaxing get-away from life, and it's a great time just hanging out with awesome food and drink. I recommend setting aside some time to go down and have a nice picnic together. Eat some amazing cheese, drink some amazing wine, and just enjoy your time together!

I've been going to this winery for years and love it! The owners are amazing and so friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful, their pic nic area and Christmas partys have become a family tradition. I never expected to find wine locally that I enjoy but I have found it! Can't recommend this winery enough!!

We had our wedding at Jabulani at the end of the May and we couldn't have had a better experience. Tom and Janet were so helpful in organizing things and very accommodating with all of our requests. We were lucky enough to be the first wedding of the season before the winery had even opened and Tom and Janet were flexible with certain rules because of this. They are incredibly friendly people and we were so glad to have had them on our team for our big day. The property is stunning and the barn made for a perfect spot to hold our reception. We've had tons of compliments from our guests about our choice of venue and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a unique wedding experience in Ottawa. Huge thank you to Tom and Janet and we will definitely be back to visit Jabulani again soon.

Wow ! Seriously impressed with this winery. Just a short drive from Ottawa but amazing wines. Beautiful vineyard as well. We did the tasting patio, which was perfect for covid times. Everything was super safe and well spaced out, the staff were all wonderful and took great care of everyone. Took home a few bottles and we’ll be back !

I attended a Lebanese wedding here and I’ll never go back. The dj kept lowering the music because the owners live next door and they were upset at the volume. I’m sorry but if you rent out a space and you live next door, be prepared for loud noises. I do not recommend.

Jabulani is a hidden gem in Richmond, the wine is excellent, Tom and Janet are wonderful people. The venue was just what we had envisioned for our Wedding, it has a rustic feel but it is also elegant and there are many beautiful places for photo opportunities.

Definitely not worth it. We went for a celebration. There was not much explanation on the wines, samples were very small and the person pouring the wine didn't come back to our table to see if we had questions, tell us where we could by the or even thank us for coming. We bought a cheese tray which was extremely small for 6 people. Very disappointed

A hidden gem! Amazing patio, friendly service and their wines are excellent. I highly suggest you visit on a Sunday and order a charcuterie board to go alone with your wine tasting.
