We went for a tasting on Saturday. The wine is delicious. After the tasting, we had a couple of glasses of wine and and a lovely charcuterie. Will absolutely be going back.

Great place! I went for work and then went back on my own with my partner for a weekend day trip. We got to sample a wide variety of wines and see how they are made. The sampling room is beautiful, and Marie is an amazing host! Richard is the winemaker and is very knowledgeable.

What a great easy getaway from the city! Marie is a lovely and warm hostess. Wines were delicious (we left with quite a few bottles). Location was easy to get to and beautiful on a summer day. Charcuterie board had a good variety of cheeses, crackers, olives, nuts, meats, grapes. Small feedback would be to replace milk chocolate with dark chocolate, but understand that's a personal preference. They triple-checked to see if we had allergies and followed COVID protocol. We felt very comfortable and relaxed.

We absolutely loved our afternoon at Green Gables winery. Our sommelier, Marie, was not only very informative, but also a ton of fun. We tasted 8 wines, all perfectly presented in a palatable order in their quaint but elegant tasting room. As they do not have a catering licence for food, we were able to bring our own picnic and were given access to the reception room to set up our lunch, enjoy some tunes (and a bit of dancing) and more wine. When we were done, Richard, the winemaker and owner, took us on a tour of the vineyard. We were fortunate as the grapes are getting close to harvest time, so we got to taste the different varieties right off the vines. What struck me most is that the most tart grape made one of the sweeter wines. We highly recommend visiting Green Gables Winery and supporting local our Ottawa area wine makers. We enjoyed the wines so much that we left with a "few" bottles at the end of our visit.

I highly recommend a trip to green gables vines, they have many wines to sample and the tasting room is invitingly cozy. Their passion for the winery is clear not only in the quality of wine but the experience at the vineyard. My favourites were "I am home", "Blushing Daisy", and "Half Throttle".

The owners are very nice. Lots of laughter guaranteed. A small tour of the place in a golf kart was offered by the owner. We even tasted cake which was a surprise for 2 of the vineyard regulars. Le propriétaire répondait cordialement à toutes nos questions. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Beaucoup de rire assuré. Une petite visite des lieux en kart de golf fut offerte par le propriétaire. Nous avons même dégusté du gâteau qui était une surprise pour 2 des habitués du vignoble. Un endroit sympathique a découvrir.

Just stopped in while on a road trip for a bottle of wine. This sweet little winery is a friendly place and although I was only there to purchase a single bottle the owners were just as available to me as if I was going buy a case. Their prices are reasonable and they have enough variety to suit most anyone. A winery for the people.

The owners are very friendly. I was gifted a bottle of Raspberry Splash a few weeks ago. The wine was DELICIOUS. It was so good I ended up snagging the last case ???? my best friend is obsessed with it too and she doesn’t even like wine ???? We will definitely be going for wine tasting soon!

My mom and I were lucky enough to be able to book a wine tasting and cheese platter here on our day trip to Kemptville. I am so happy we did! The experience was amazing and the host Marie was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking the short 30 minute drive from Ottawa to check them out. The wine is made with organic grapes and it tastes so much better than store bought wines. They will now be my go to for wine! Check out this winery and bring friends! It's the perfect place for small get togethers, bachelorette parties or even just a day trip with friends. Thanks so much Green Gables for the wonderful experience. We will be back! :)

An amazing little winery just outside the city! Super friendly and knowledgeable host. The wine was fantastic but the experience is what will bring me back! Mary was delightful and incredibly accommodating. From start to finish, and even after, this was A+ and extremely recommended as a destination - whether it's two people or ten! We ended up with 9 bottles total!! Props to Green Gables Vines for offering my family and I a memorable afternoon :)

I was impressed in the beginning but as soon as we got inside the store for wine-tasting, I saw how selective this owner is to her customers. She only acknowledged people that she knew and I felt like I did not exist. What a big disappointment! Her treatment to customers are so biased. What a shame! Very insincere! I will never go back to this place.

Owners greeted warmly when we arrived. Showed us around the winery and production area and shared the history of the site. Generous tasting of each of their wines (all outstanding). Very fair prices and wonderful costumer service, will definitely be back. Highly recommended the rosé

Beautiful little spot. Small tasting room but beautifully decorated. “No Name Marie” - our hostess - was AMAZING!! Wines were mostly blended wines and many with other fruits (raspberry/strawberry/etc) so not your typical wine styles. Not for the grape wine purists and definitely on the sweeter side. We really enjoyed the experience they’ve added a nice big patio which will eventually be covered too so we plan on revisiting next summer for sure!
