Last Night we finished the last bottle of Australian Cab/Shiraz/Merlot we made last year at the Wine Cellar. It really did age well! Amazing for a kit wine! Marie knows her stuff. Best place in town to bottle your own wine! Highly recommend The Wine Cellar in Kitchener.

Great experience! This was the first time my friend and I made wine. Marie was very experienced and knowledgeable about everything and helped make it a fun process. She went above and beyond, brining out a pairing of artisan cheese and crackers for us while we bottled and labeled the bottles. There were lots of wines to choose from at various price points, and it was nice that she can customize any batch to suit your needs. The shop has a unique atmosphere with lots of art from local artists. Above all else, the wine tastes great and it was a fun process! I'd recommend anyone give it a try. Will be back for the next batch soon! We made the Funky Monkey Pinot Grigio ( a bit on the sweet side)

Three years ago I moved from a house to an apartment. Prior to that for over 40 years I always made my own wine. Sometimes from kits and sometimes from fresh juice. I didn't have the room in the apartment so I went around to many of the wine places in town and The Wine Cellar gave me the most pleasing atmosphere when I visited. I ordered my first red and first white and I have never look behind since then. I have made wine from all of their levels and all have been perfect. I definitely recommend that you use them for your next batch of wine. I know you will be back for more. Their service is awesome and very friendly staff.

We just received our 7th and 8th batches of wine from the Wine Cellar. We have been going to Marie's pleasant shop for many years now and highly recommend it! We always pop the cork on at least one bottle before cellaring, just so we have a base for comparing after. This time we got the Estate Series Cab-Shiraz (red) and the Pinot Grigio (white) 2 of our favourites. Just wanted to say, the flavours are there from day one. The new wine is already excellent. It'll be hard to wait to drink it. That is what is so good about the Wine Cellar, the consistency is always there. Try it and you'll see, you always know what your getting, a great wine every time!

I have been bottling my wine at the Wine Cellar for over 20 years and even though I relocated to another city last year, I continue to bottle with Marie. The 2 hour road trip is so worth the time. Every batch is perfect and the experience itself is worth the drive. Marie is truly a master winemaker who has such a passion for her craft and shares her knowledge by offering suggestions based on my taste and budget. Over the years I have received so many compliments on my wine, and friends are always surprised when I tell them how inexpensive it is to bottle good quality wine. A lot of things have changed in 2020, but good wine with the “ Vintner Extraordinaire” will never be anything less than perfect! Cheers to the Wine Cellar staff who have managed to survive the pandemic and continue to serve their loyal customers in a professional and safe environment.

I've never made a batch of wine before or even seen one be made. My sister hounded me until I agreed to split a batch with her. We decided on the Wine Cellar since it is closest to where I live. Our first meeting was deciding on the wine. Marie (the owner) was extremely knowledgable and instead of the attitude of "I don't care, it's your wine," Marie actually gave her honest recommendations. Her honesty and straight forward opinion was very much appreciated! Today I bottled my wine, a Cheeky Monkey Pinot Grigio. Not knowing what to expect, I was a little bit nervous and thinking it would be lengthy and difficult. Wrong! Marie showed me each step and boy was it simple. I will definitely be bottling myself another batch. I would highly recommend the Wine Cellar if you are looking into bottling your own wine. Marie is knowledgable, kind, and has a great rapport with her customers (several came in while I was there). Thanks so much for your help Marie, Cheeky Monkey Chardonnay next time!!

If only I could give more than 5 stars!! While my husband and I have been making 'kit' wines for about 20 years, in both Mississauga and Kitchener, we only recently stumbled upon the Wine Cellar this Sept ... Hallelujah - the stars have aligned!! Marie, the owner/vintner extraordinaire, is simply wonderful - incredibly knowledgeable, attentive to our tastes and well-organized. We made 3 batches our first time in - a Riesling, a Riesling/Traminer & a California Mystic (red blend) - and have been thrilled with the results! I highly recommend you give Marie and the Wine Cellar on Gage St., Kitchener a try - you won't be disappointed.

Marie is terrific; she's very knowledgeable when it comes to wine and can basically answer any questions you may have on wine making. We have been making wine with Marie for years. She is a master of her craft. We have made hundreds of bottles with her and thoroughly enjoy the entire process. We will continue to make wine with her as long as my liver is able to consume alcohol. I don't know why anyone would buy LCBO wine when the product Marie makes is so much better and cheaper.
