Beautiful gardens around the winery. They are making everyone stay outside with -covid plans- and apparently one needs a reservation to get a table outside. However they have other outside seating. This winery does not seem to do tastings like the rest- they gave us a menu with 'by the glass' or flights of 4 wines for >$8. Bit disappointed as most wineries charge something for tastings but we usually buy a couple of cases and then it's no charge. Not so here. They were not busy and the service was soooooo slow and we got none of the typical winery verbal description of the wines...which we always enjoy. Would likely not return...there are many others that give you a more authentic winery experience.

Great place to go for wine and selection of unique cheeses. Stopped by for the September Discovery Passport program. Friendly staff in both the wine tasting and the cheese tasting area. Will definitely return based on their selection of cheese and ability to sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine.

We were a group of 8, and had a fabulous time for the third year in a row. Our server was Mark. He has been outstanding every year. He is so friendly and knowledgeable about wines from the region. Matt gave us great cheese samples in the fromagerie. 10/10 would recommend this winery!

Me and my boyfriend love this winery. We discovered this hidden gem 2 summers ago and it's been our favorite ever since. The most friendliest staff, delicious cheese and wine. Everyone has always made us feel welcome. We've brought our dog a couple of times and sat on the patio.

The winery has a good selection of wine and cheese. Mark was a very friendly and knowledgeable host, we tried the Tragically Hip and Stoney Ridge Cabernet wine which was excellent. Kelsey was helpful in aiding us taste the different cheeses available. There are tragically hip tshirts and memorabilia available as well. Highly recommended!

Can't get over this place! It's a hidden gem of a winery with great wines, patios and an awesome selection of cheeses which is now a staple for my family, I get all my cheese here now! Staff are kind and courteous, and the gardens are a nice cozy spot to enjoy a glass in the summertime. Favorite winery in Ontario!

A very aesthetically pleasing winery with excellent wine and an abundance of cheese choices that are all delicious. The winery exhibits the proper policies to keep everybody safe during COVID-19 and has staff that properly enforce the new rules. Overall, the staff are very welcoming and nice and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Lincoln, Niagara region.

Stoney Ridge never disappoints! Personal service and an attention to detail! Mark was awesome! We FINALLY got to try the Tragically Hip red (after it selling out repeatedly in the past) and it was nice...after explaining to Mark about the types of red wine we typically prefer, he not only made recommendations from other Stoney Ridge wines, he made several recommendations to other nearby wineries where we might find more of what we were looking for..... how cool is that?? 5 stars for service, friendliness, approachability, and yummy awesome wines!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely experience at Stoney Ridge Estate Winery this past September. Our server, Casey, was knowledgeable about the wines she served, incredibly friendly, and successfully facilitated a memorable and safe experience. The estate is beautiful, has several photo-op locations, and is nicely spaced out for appropriate social distancing. The wine itself was delicious. I was able to taste four different white wines, unable to pick my favourite from the group. I would highly recommend Stoney Ridge the next time you want to grab an incredible glass of wine in Canada’s wine region.

Beautiful landscaping meets the eye as you enter the courtyard. As you approach the retail section, a friendly old dog comes to check you out. He's truly a friendly dog. The store is airy and clean. Not much to see during COVID-19 but I'd like to go back and find out. Staff was very nice and provided quick efficient service. Bought two bottles of the Tragically Hips Grand Reserve. Haven't tried the wine yet, but I will definitely be going back to sample and tour once the pandemic dies down. Nice to meet you guys. ????

This is an amazing winery. Fantastic wine (really delicious) and the nicest staff. I felt very welcomed at my tasting. They were really knowledgeable but not snooty at all. I went in the fall and it wad cozy. Got the malbec and it was my favorite wine that i got during my trip to Niagara and Finger lakes. Highly reccomend stopping here ????

Horrible the man working the sales office treated me and my wife as if we where not worth his time, We where looking for the "tragically hip wine" we found the winery's line that produced it and decided to go for a drive (wife is pregnant gets us out for the day) and (LCBO sold out), Wow we where treated as second class and when my wife asked to go over the total because the guys math was wrong because he can't count to five he only charged us for Four bottles and three gift packs (my wife was being honest) he muttered "you should have kept your mouth shut" ... what a un professional employee (cashier) we spent over $300.00 and probably won't be going back there or supporting any of their affiliates (Mike Weir) products Gord if it wasn't for my wife's love for you we would have walked out very disappointed. #VQA

We stopped in here for some wine tasting as they were recommended by the B&B we stayed at the night before. We stopped here many years ago and were not fond of it, but we couldn't remember why so we thought we would try it again. Upon arrival we were greeted by an employee outside in a tent and she asked what we came in for (wine tasting). She went on to talk about their beautiful gardens and such that they have. We were then told to head inside to taste some wines at one of their two wine bars. We went inside and proceeded to one of the wine bars. There was no one working behind the bar so we stood around and looked at some of the bottles displayed. No one ever came to serve wine so we decided to check out the other bar. Again no one ever came to server or ask if we needed anything. There were lots of employees working (stocking shelves, moving things around, organizing). After spending 5 minutes of waiting and on one asking us if we wanted anything we decided to leave. I think we did not seem high class enough. Won't be returning to this winery again.

Stopped in for a tasting and to change clothes before visiting the Falls, and ended up staying for nearly an hour. Very knowledgeable, with delicious wines. Their gewurztraminer is especially crisp and clean, which I love in white wines. My friend loved their Malbec, which (while not to my taste) was a beautiful purple and an excellent example of a Malbec

Went to Get Fresh in the valley third year in a row, they "ran out" of their pairing... How can this happen every year..bad planning. Lady who gave us the alternative pairing with our wine left promptly after serving... Although the alternative pairing was good, just doesn't speak well to always run out...Explains why the parking lot is empty.

Fire Pit Friday's Last year we attended the Fire Pit Friday's with a large group where there was Music, $5.00 glasses of wine, and Pizza available for purchase and had a great experience This year it's changed considerably with no music, $12.00 for the first glass of wine, (you get to keep the cheap Plastic Glass) & refills were $7.00 (this was poor wine), Pizza was still available for purchase (that part was great as always) We also asked the staff for the internet password and were told that "it's a lot of letters & numbers and I can't remember it" This year we added more people to the group and were disappointed with the changes, needless to say we won't be heading back there unless it reverts back to the 2017 version

Ordered a case of wine online and they shipped it out to me really quickly however I had an issue with the third party shipping company they used and was afraid I wouldn’t get my wine in time for Christmas (no fault of Stoney Ridge) So I contacted Stoney Ridge about the issue to see if they could figure it out for me. They immediately contacted the shipping company to cancel the shipment and Stoney Ridge personally delivered my case of wine within an hour and a half after our phone call. Can’t get better customer service then that :)

My husband is a huge hockey fan and loves to watch Bob McCowan and well....I love wineries. So when we found out that he has a winery we had to go check it out. From the moment we walked in the door the gentleman that was there welcomed us with such friendliness and warmth, unlike some places we have been. I bought a bottle of the stoney ridge pinot and a bottle of the doug Gilmore pinot. Both amazing. We also bought some beer cheddar which is to die for. We will be back soon to enjoy the patio. Keep up the great work.

My brother and sister-in-law love the Niagara wineries and have brought my wife and I to several. All have been interesting but this one was particularly enjoyable. Their cab sauv is truly the first Niagara cab sauv I’ve actually enjoyed. We liked the fully completely too and bought 6 of both. And the pizza? Fabulous. And we met the curmudgeonly owner and he was surprisingly pleasant. We’ll go back!!!
