Certainly one of the best "boutique" wineries on the bench. Excellent "Blanc de Blanc" & "Tradition" (why would you still drink Prosecco?). The Marsanne takes me back to the Rhone Valley in a second, and "Soldier's Grant" is a great value for price. Very friendly staff and beautiful set up.

We arrived about 30 minutes before closing but the staff was happy to accommodate us. We did not feel rushed at all. There is a dining room set up with a large dining table to accomodate a large group or a few samples groups, high bar tables in the bar area and a beautiful inviting patio; or you can sit at a bench looking into the vineyard or one of a few picnic tables that give the el fresco vibe. We sat on the patio to enjoy one of September's beautiful Saturday afternoons. Bees were buzzing on the flowers next to us but did not bother us in the least. Wines are available by the glass or by the flight, sparkling, white or red. We were told that Kew was known for their sparkling wines, so we chose one in our flights. The rose was dry and refreshing as was their Pinot Gris Rose. I bought a bottle to take home. Wines were brought out one at a time, with time taken to explain each varietal. The staff were very knowledgeable. The only slight disappointment was the cheese plate. It was inexpensive so I didn't expect anything spectacular but it was cheddar and smoked gouda with some rounds of baguette. A little wedge of blue or brie would have been lovely. However, we went for the wines, not the cheese. I look forward to a return visit and try more from Kew.

Groups be-warned. Beautiful gardens but unaccomodating to large groups. Wasn't able to sit, buy a glass or do a tasting because we were a group of 12. Though there were enough seats to seat us all between inside and out, and we said we wanted to taste and buy bottles, they told us they could not accomodate us. I'm sure it's a wonderful winery but their customer service is lacking.

Most recently, I stopped by with my girlfriend and her mother, and Wes helped us out, and not only did an amazing job curating wine, but proving amazing customer service, especially since we walked in 30 mins before close. KEW wins on many levels. The winery is set inside a (nearly) 200 year old country home, with a beautiful sprawling view of vineyards on one side, and the lake and Toronto on the other. The house produces a stellar lineup of bubbles (5 at the moment), each with its own personality. The riesling, the marsanne, all the wines are memorable and unique.

My friends and I were here a couple months ago and we were served by Jazz. We had a nice time sitting inside, sipping our sparkling wines, and munching on some cheeses. I only gave Kew 4 out of 5 because they have no wines sweeter than 7 g per L (and I like sweet wines, it's really just personal taste!). Jazz was an excellent server, we had plenty to eat, and my friends enjoyed their wines. I like Kew for it's laid-back atmosphere- almost feels like being out in the country. They also have a good selection of sauces, oils, and accessories in-store as well. Thank you to Jazz! Edit: second visit we were served by Wes and I tried the brut cider; I really enjoyed it!

Sampled the reds since that's what I gravitate towards. The heritage was quite good and I purchased a bottle. My issues with this place is first being charged for the tasting after purchasing a bottle of their more expensive option. Second, the decor is just a bit over the top... They seem to be catering to Toronto bachelorette parties and that's perfectly fine, but it's just not my thing.

We stopped by at this little gem of a place on our way to Niagara Falls. They are famous for their sparkling wines and my taste flight did not disappoint. My friend tried their whites and I must say they were out of this world. We ended up buying four bottle (two bubbles and and two whites). I also really liked the small and cosy setting. The service as very good.

One of our favourites. A lovely restored building with a great patio for a tasting. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly well informed staff. Excellent variety of high quality and affordable sparkling wines made from estate fruit. Also try the Marsanne - one of the few to offer this in Ontario, along with Soldiers Grant - a lovely red blend. We nearly always drop in on our way by to dinner or events in Niagara. Highly recommended.

Their wines are unique, especially their sparkling wines, and they continue to develop in exciting ways! Upon arriving the host had to make sure finding me a seat was "okay" since I was alone. Solo guests are still guests. Imagine driving 30 mins to come to a winery only to be told someone needs to check if it's "okay" that you're there. I enjoyed a glass of sparkling but no one checked in on me until I was done. I asked for another glass and was advised I wouuld only have a few minutes to finish it since I will need to vacate my spot for the guests on a party bus. I was trying to celebrate my birthday and essentially being asked to leave was very hurtful and it made me quite uncomfortable. I was rushed out and treated as a nuisance. This practice was unprofessional and rude in my humble opinion. I don’t appreciate being treated differently due to being alone.

My son gave me a gift of your 2013 Organic Riesling. He knows that I am always looking for organic wines. The wine itself is probably fine, but I became really frustrated trying to open bottle. The metal wrap around the plastic cap was so difficult to get off ---- I used a knife ----- the metal wrapping could easily cut a finger. Also I am not in favor of the plastic cap. I will never buy this wine. It was a struggle to open it.

I was quite disappointed with my recent visit. Have been before and found everything delightful but this time although we were seated in time and before another couple we were told we were too late for the cheese platter although the others got one. Also the lady looking after us had difficulty remembering what we wanted to try and left us alone for ages. No mention was made of the grape, soil, or anything about your wines. This contrasted very badly from the other wineries we visited yesterday. Needless to say I did not buy anything.

We call it Kewte (cute). This place is adorable! Tasting room is in a house. Lots of seating options. Larger tables in the first room to the left, tall tables in the back and a little outdoor patio. We ordered a tasting flight and a sparkling flight to share. Sit, sip, savour. There is no rush when you’re here. As the wines are served the staff explain each of them to you. Then they leave you to enjoy them. I look forward to coming back in the summer to sit outside and enjoy more of their wines.

I give the atmosphere and decor a five star. The wine is also delicious ! We have been going to Kew for many years . We made a reservation and were excited to come however, the lady with the short hair was not welcoming or friendly. Right from the start she had a rude tone like we were a bother . My boyfriend and I had our vaccination passes however, he had the grass roots vaccination card added to his phone wallet that wasn’t working properly . He was trying to find another solution but she really had her back up and wasn’t nice to him. We had another option that worked perfectly fine however it was the way she spoke to him that did not sit well . We ended up having a male server who was professional and nice . If you’re going to be at the door when someone arrives maybe a smile or a welcome would be nice :) . Overall I’m sure we will be back however when you’re excited to come and are spoken to like that it’s not a nice feeling.

3 stars based on the interior design/set up - small & quaint. 2 stars based on their poor customer service and wait time. The wait time for service sitting at a table was at least 15mins too long to then be asked have you made any decisions without being given an overview of anything. The wait to pay was too long. They should plan to staff more people on the weekends. Please ensure they look like they want to be there and help customers.

Lovely setting, but very disappointed by the wine and cheese. I think it's the first time I've been to a winery and had to pay a tasting fee because we didn't buy enough wine. The cheeseboard was awful. Bland cheese and mediocre white bread. The most disappointing winery I've been to in the region. Will not be back. The service was slow and seemed inadequate for the amount of people there (and it wasn't very crowded, there were empty tables).

Very cosy and welcoming. It's very nice to be able to order food with a wine tasting! Many of the other wineries we visited did not have a good option. We had the little cheese plate which came with crackers. Also, Kew was more rustic in style that the modern-looking estates.

Loved this winery! Lots of great wines! Although I’m not a fan of sparkling, I did like the ones I tried here. Thankfully three of us got tastings and tried not to duplicate...so 7 different wines were tasted and 1 cider. I ended up buying 1 red and 1 rose, and I never buy rose’s. realizing now we didn’t even try a white. Our host knew her wines and was so welcoming, we felt bad not having asked her name. I know this will be the first of many visits to this winery!!!
