We had a wine tasting at 13th Street winery, but the day we went it was closed due to a fire close by. We had heard really good things about Creekside from the front desk at our hotel so we decided to check it out since it was down the road. Inside was very nice, and very helpful. We were told the patio was serving food until 3:30, so we decided at 3 to head out there to grab a bite to eat. We stood there for a good 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, when someone finally came over which was a female server we asked for a table for 3. She looked at us and said that they were full and no longer seating people, which was a lie as there were several tables open. She then proceeded to sit two tables after telling us there was no room. It was quite upsetting considering we were very happy with the wine and were willing to spend quite a bit but after having the service outside we were completely turned off.

Beautiful patio with a little pond, great wine, great food! Wine is pretty fantastic ..had backayrd bubbly sauv blanc and Riesling and reg backayrd sauv blanc and they were all very tasty. We got the beef burger and pulled chicken . Both were amazing ..the buns were so good !!! Also...best fries I've ever had! Will definitely recommend and definitely return. You can bring a blanket if there's no seats and sit on the lawn

Great winery! Went this past weekend for my first experience, found a groupon and it was more than worth the drive. The back patio is separate from the winery itself but is gorgeous so if you do visit I would suggest heading to the back afterwards like we did for a glass. Would definitely come back again if not this year than next summer.

Had a great time at Creekside with my family including my doggies. It was our second time visit. Our first was picnic lunch and it was great sitting at the front lawn having their sandwich and wine. We decided to go for the restaurant this time. Beautiful setup, food was great (pull pork shoulder and fries were delicious), wine was good, and staffs were awesome. This becomes our go-to place for our Niagara visit.

if you can, i highly recommend having lunch on their deck. it's a wonderful atmosphere and the food is very nice. wine tastings are reasonable at 3 for $10 and it's a good selection, which includes their delicious ice wine. all in all, it was a wonderful visit and i would definitely be back!

Had dinner on the deck and it was amazing overall! Food was delicious and I'm in love with the new chef! The service was incredible and our server Tara was super nice and attentive! I got at one point and she brought me a blanket! The view was beautiful with the wonderful pond and the vineyard! The entertainment was also perfect for the vibes of the evening, just right volume that you could hear them but it wasn't overbearing! Will be coming back soon!!

I’ve been to Creekside a couple times now, most recently last Friday to pick up a bottle of wine for a Christmas party. I stopped in on my way home from work, arriving at the winery around quarter after five. When I went to go inside, I realized the door was locked and the winery had closed for the day. However, someone inside (I don’t remember his name) saw me and came to open the door. He informed me that closing time was now 5 (Holiday hours – this was my bad for not checking the updated hours before dropping in!), but asked if there was anything he could do for me. When I told him that I was looking to buy a bottle of wine, he was very helpful and said he would still ring the purchase through for me. I was really pleased that I was still able to get my wine, even though I had come after closing (again, my fault!). Thanks Creekside staff for being so friendly and accommodating! I’ll come back again.

I have never been to a winery before and I decided to take my family on Sunday August 18th for lunch and the tour. I’ve been planning this trip for over a year. We arrived at the Creekside winery at around noon and I’ve approached the host / staff member to get a table for four. I told him that we have a small dog and he said that dogs are not aloud outside, but they might be aloud inside and I have to check myself with the inside staff . I did check the website before and it’s a pet friendly place. I try to look through the window to see if a staff member was inside as I was confused and this host turned his back at me and went to talk to another staff member . The other staff member was staring at me and the rude host was drinking his coffee with this back turned. I went to him and he wasn’t’ taking to me, he had looking at me with a ‘sick’ face holding his coffee in his hands. I have been so humiliated in my life, the host was so rude and unprofessional. I felt sick to my stomach all day ,my Sunday was ruin, my winery experience was a disaster because of this guy. I feel sick writing this review and thinking about it. Nobody should go thru this it’s been horrible. I told the host that he’s rude and disrespectful. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HOPE I WILL NEVER HEAR ABOUT THIS PLACE IN MY LIFE

Me and my partner are fans of icewine and couldn't wait for the Niagara Icewine Festival to happen. I attended the battle of the wineries and really admired Creekside Winery. Unfortunately this experience was so awful... Instead of icewine we got some Merlot Red Wine that was so bitter I couldn't even finish it. I then started asking questions about icewine (since it's the icewine festival!!!) and felt that staff wasn't honest in their responses. The customer service at this winery was very poor, and unfortunately we won't be back to buy their icewine.

We have come here twice in the last month to eat lunch and have an early dinner. The food is amazing! The beef brisket is some of the best I've had and the fries are also very enjoyable (my Son and I ordered this both times we went). My wife and daughter loved the flat bread mushroom pizza and the lentil salad with grainy mustard and buttermilk dressing! The staff have been wonderful and their service is great! It's worth the drive from Stoney Creek for a quiet place with amazing food...we will be back again for sure!

First, let me say we had a great time here and loved the wines. We ordered a separate flight for my wife (primarily whites) and the Big Red for me. We were hoping to get some lunch but the kitchen is only open Thu to Sun (part of business during covid). We ordered the charcuterie and we very pleasantly surprised, it was well outfitted and the best we'd seen in the area. I very much enjoyed the flights and the Reds were as good as I remembered.bi ended up buying two of each for follow-up tasting at home. Service was excellent and the server was very helpful. He even provided a taste of the Pinot noir rose which I decided to buy for an upcoming tasting with friends.. We will certainly be returning to Creekside for more tasting in the near future.

Dog friendly tasting room; outstanding, personable staff. The pond side deck was perfect for a lunch, pulled pork shoulder and asparagus salad were both outstanding. Walked away with a really nice Sauvignon Blanc too. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful tasting experience here! Josh was very knowledgeable. The patio area was well spaced out and so lovely. This is one of my favourite wineries to visit. The tasting didn’t feel rushed and you can sit and order food if you wish. The staff didn’t pressure or push you to make any purchases you didn’t want to! Last September we visited Creekside and made some great discoveries. Your establishment is lovely, especially the rear terrace bordered by the creek. The employee who greeted us is Leina. We greatly appreciated his warm welcome and her knowledge of each of your products. She was lovely enough to explain in detail in French, our maternal language, which allowed us to have an even more personal experience. I have been to both the winery and the patio cafe numerous times and have always been very fond on this place. Whenever I went last year which was 4 different times, I was always treated nicely and felt welcome. Lately however, I find that this place has become very busy. When I showed up this past Sat. to have lunch on the patio at 2:55 I was given the brush off. Four people had gone in before me and were seated and I patiently waited my turn only to have a male staff member come over and bluntly tell me they were closing in 30 minutes for a private event and were not taking any more customers. I will think twice about coming back to a place that treats single female customer in this way.

Wine was decent staff was friendly. I bought wine online with no issue with free delivery. Went to the winery recently assuming they would reduce cost of wine by the delivery charge if I picked it up. I was wrong. Save your time and money let them spend theirs and have them deliver it to you for free. Don’t try to do them any favors.

I live in the area and I wish I acquainted myself with this place earlier. The setting is relaxing and picturesque. Quiet. No traffic to be seen or heard. Just a babbling brook and some gently rolling topography to settle you into your stay. All seating is functional and is supported by the view. Menu is not pretentious at all. Some good staples to be had. Lots of wine choice. Syrah...so good. There was also a musician there. The music was background and didn't overpower our conversation. Staff service level was a 10...or a 5 star in this case. Going to repeat for sure AND bring friends.

We did a tasting and had a charcuterie board at Creekside. We were 2 adults and a dog. We were looking for dog friendly wineries to visit in the 20 valley region and Creekside was one of the best. They have a lovely covered patio. Their hospitality and service was amazing. Everybody had smiles on their faces and offered our dog a fresh bowl of water when we were seated. Unfortunately, after we got our food and wines our dog accidently knocked over the entire table, spilling everything and breaking all the glasses. We were mortified. But the staff at Creekside did not make a big deal about it, they moved us to another table, replaced our food and drinks including a new water bowl for our dog with the same smiles on their faces. We felt really bad but were pleasently surprised by how well the staff handled our mishap. As for the wines, all the Rieslings and Laura's red were delicious. Highly recommend Creekside!

Great wine, but mediocre experience with the staff. We visited the place on April 18th. I had a friend out of town and wanted to show her the Niagara wine region. The plane was delayed so the whole day was rushed. We arrived at Creekside 5 min before closing. The lady staff was nice enough to stay open for us but she did it with some reluctance and displayed some irritations. The whole wine tasting was rushed and felt pushy. The staff was clearly irritated by our near-closing time arrival. I stuck with it because it was the only chance for me to show my out-of-town guest to this Creekside Winery. Now, I wish I didn't go there as the service offer by the staff left a bad taste in our end of day experience. I have been here several times and spent so much money at this place.. so it was a bit embarrassing that an out of town guest had to witness that. Overall, descent wine.... but hit-and-miss experience with the staff there. I have had great visits here, but the last visit really was so embarrassing that it will take me a while to return.

Firstly their wine is delicious - never had one I didn’t enjoy. Secondly, their wines have low sugar count for the most part which can be hard to find. Lastly, they have fantastic customer service. I bought their wine at the LCBO for years and now I buy direct from the winery for an even better experience. Highly recommend.

A comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed my tasting experience and purchased several bottles of Rose’ and Sauvignon Blanc which were reasonably priced. Also included in my purchase was a wine tote bag and a tasting token. There is a patio cafe that looked inviting but we had already eaten lunch. I glanced at the menu and would recommend adding a vegetarian option or two. I hope to visit again and enjoy a meal on the patio.

Inspired to write my first review EVER.... Today was the perfect day for wine tasting! Sun was actually shining and the temp was just right here in Niagara. We decided to hit up 4 wineries. Amongst the vast array of options, we chose Creekside Estate Winery as 1of the 4. The experience fell nothing short of terrible. Entering the doors at Creekside Winery began with receiving the most uninviting "hi". We approached with big smiles; filled with the anticipation of what this next tasting experience would bring! "Oh, they have an award winning cider on the list!" We expressed that tasting the cider was a definate must. We ask what other wines we should try and in what order? "I don't believe in orders", the bartender explains, "all as you need is a pallet cleanser." Alrighty then, bring on the tastings! Red wine followed by white followed by red; all the same glass. (Dishwasher broken?) Finally we had to ask, "can we please have some water???" So much for the pallet cleanser... As we sipped away, we read the labels 'out loud to eachother' so we knew what each particular wine was all about! Heaven forbid the bartender would share those details with us! Oh, we realized they have a restaurant! " what kind of food do you serve?" we asked... "Mostly bbq".... and??? Nope, that was it! We werent getting any further flowery, marketing moments that would make us eager to eat there some day. So finally we thought its time to get the hell out of here; as this girl was clearly being inconvenienced. As we left the tasting room, we realize we never did get to try the Cider!! Lmao... Was the wine any good? Its hard to say... Perhaps if we had a bartender who would smile for a second, and perhaps sell the features of their award winning wines, and make us all feel welcomed, we would have staid longer, tasted their cider and then purchased a few cases! The only thing missing on this customer service atrocity, was a razor blade on the way out.

Posted incorrectly to Creekstone in the US. Visit was 2 years ago. We will never return. Very small pours for tastings considering they're $10 for 3. No discount on purchases either. This was the only winery we visited all day with this policy. The older woman who serves us was a bit condescending. Disappointed overall.

Had a lovely afternoon on their patio. My wife and I sampled two of their flights and they had many delicious wines (especially Laura's Red). The service was exceptional as well! We can't wait to visit again.

Amazing hospitality and service. The tour was incredible - highly informative and educational - the wine is consistently excellent, the Lost Barrel series is something to look forward to - the food on the patio is delicious and the scenery is beautiful Looking forward to coming back again next year when the COVID is done
