Here you have all the opinions of people who are using the products and services of Back 10 Cellars (Winery) near to the area of Brantford (Canada).
At this moment the business has a score of 4.8 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 105 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings is almost the highest, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the rating is very reliable. If many people have bothered to give their opinion when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery belongs to the category of Winery.
We came by on a Friday and had a bottle of wine and a charcuterie picnic. Everything was delightful - the delicious food and drink, the gorgeous property, and friendly staff. It all makes for a very welcoming and unpretentious experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our tasting here. Great wine, fun experience.
The wine is great, the owner is helpful and we always love stopping in for a taste.
Great people and tasty wine.
This is our absolute favorite winery in the region. The wines and the experience were both phenomenal. Sara made our tasting very enjoyable and was filled with knowledge of the wines, the winery, and the region. We were given a delicious complimentary snack (they even brought us out a separate one specific to our dietary needs) to accompany our wines. We also met the owner, Andrew, who took time to show us the vineyard and explain about the wine making process. Overall, this is the type of experience that makes us love the Niagara region and keeps us coming back.
We went with a group of gals for a day of wine tasting. Back 10 was by far our favorite out ofthe 4 we visisted. Andrew, the owner, served us and was kind, witty and passionate about his wines. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, you feel as if you're around a table at home with your friends. The complimentary snacks was an incredible added touch and much appreciated when wine tasting! We were also given two additional tastings outside of the standard 4. Every wine we tasted was amazing. I am a red drinker, rarely do I even sample white unless I have to, and left purchasing their Chardonnay, I can confidently say it was the best white wine I've ever had! The overall experience of Back 10 was amazing, I would highly recommend this winery. I look forward to my next visit!
Nice winery excellent service everyone was attentive . The Pink Float is the new Addition and we love it Thank you for everything Support small business
We stopped in because we read the book - excellent story on how it all came about. Decided to try the chardonnay which was very good. Bought 2 bottles and we ended up coming back a month later for 2 more bottles!
Wonderful atmosphere. A crackling fire, cute sitting room delicious wines. We got great recommendations on where to go next and felt at home. Fantastic small winery with a great story.
Nice little place in the heart of wine country. Friendly, informative staff who are serious wine nerds. Wine was OK, but I think they will grow a lot with experience.
Staff were super friendly and a lovely outdoor patio
Stopped in here on a whim and loved it. The Riesling was our favourite of the day. The guided tasting was completely unpretentious and made us feel very comfortable as newbies. Highly recommended.
Only liked the smitten sparkling didn't like the rest...too thick Bread was nice. Great stories by host.
Friendly staff and quaint atmosphere. Love the smitten summerhouse! The wine float desert is worth the try, very refreshing and an interesting take on ice cream floats. Worth a Try! Could probably use a few more food options to take it over the top, there is a charcuterie board which wasn’t bad, tasty and full, but would be nice to have a small salad or a sandwich in the afternoon.
Excellent work opening up a new area for "distance tasting"
Loved the cab franc called the Big Leap which is a 2018 vintage. The flavour is bold and complex with the taste of dark berries. I also bought Everything at Stake which was a 2019 gamay. This is a light and fruity wine good for sipping on a hot summer day or mix with some soda water and fruit for a refreshing spritzer. We did curbside pick up and they had the wine boxed and ready to go on a table using physical distancing measures.
We stopped by here a couple weeks ago after cherry picking. Very nice property and great staff. We didn't do any tastings but decided to just buy a bottle of reisling and a bottle of their Chardonnay. Both were not to our tastes, and quite expensive.
Back10 is an all around amazing experience. Whether you are going with girlfriends for a tasting, a cute photo opt, a date night, or a pop in on your way home because you need that rosé. We love to bring our kids, and out of town guests, Back10 perfectly showcases the wines of niagara and what it's like to live in wine country!
Amazing wines. Beautiful vineyard. Lovely people!
Beautiful experience. Food was good and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Purchased their Riesling. Yum!
Very good wines. Great atmosphere! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
We got a warm welcome from this place and we had a tasting set which are giving 5 glasses of sparkling, white and red. Their wine was delicious and the winery where we go back again!
The staff was super friendly and the environment of the refinished post war house was great. I'm in love with the Chardonnay
Friendly staff with great story and quaint winery but the reds didn't really live up to the reviews I had seen. Maybe just a off year.
Amazing space. They had a live dj which was great. Beer was good and they had a wide selection. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
Nice wine. Very good Cab-F. Not a lot of choices, but it's a small place. Very very friendly service. Nice little place.
Very friendly staff, decent sized eating area. Not enough collection of red wine when we visited but the one we tried was very smooth. It is small but very cute farm. A tad over priced for charcuterie board that was served in a box (probably coz of covid) rather than on a board ( which i would have preferred).
Amazing owners, amazing wines! Great service, can't wait to come back!!
Amazing selection of wine!
Please go here! I am not a red wine fan usually but loved every single wine I tasted, red, white, and rose. The service was great. They were busy but never acted frazzled or hurried us in any way, they were so attentive.
With the addition of excellent outdoor spaces to relax and explore Back 10 is a great stop on your Niagara wine tour. Wine selection and staff are on point and super friendly/helpful. No snobbery here! just chill and enjoy
Great wine and great experience. Love when the wine maker takes the time to tell their story and teach about how their wine is made. If your hoping to stop somewhere authentic and hear the story of a winery start up, this is the place!
Smaller winery with very knowledgeable staff.
Nice, small winery, with very knowledgeable staff. For $5 you can try 4 of their wines (the $5 fee is waived if you buy 2 bottles of wine), during the tasting they brought around delicious french onion soup.
Make sure you add this cute little winery to your stops down there. It is a little piece of relaxation! Owner of the winery ran our tasting. He was funny and informAtive. We were served lovely French onion soup as well. 2 products: the sparkling and the Riesling were great products!
I absolutely love this place!! Amazing wines with a super warm and inviting atmosphere!!
Hands down the most knowledgeable people we interacted with of the day. This place had a warm inviting atmosphere like we were already family. The wine was also top notch! I highly recommend this winery.
Always amazing wine and great value.
Awesome tasting and heated private tent !! Highly recommend ????????
Beautiful setting outside by the vines. Owners were walking around talking to patrons, very friendly atmosphere. Wine was good but nothing really stood out.
Love this hidden gem in Beamsville, everything about this little place is great! I absolutely love Smitten, it is a must try, I do not have enough words to express how much I love it!
What a cool winery! Interesting tasting room in and old farm house. Very knowledgeable and interesting staff, easy conversation with a lot of knowledge. Wines are fantastic and different from most others! I will be back and recommending to others. Thanks for keeping things small!
Bench Brewery recommended this stop on our way home to Toronto. We had an amazing time at this beautiful little winery. The hosts were very informative and provided a lot more details that other winery's in the area did not. The wine here was some of the best we had during our entire weekend. So thankful we found this gem.
Not only was the wine great the owner was very informative and helpful. He accommodated us arriving on a day when they weren't usually open to the public. Really enjoyed the experience here and wish them the best going forward with growth, expansion and success.
Amazing experience as always. Excellent safety measures. Wines were delicious.
Great place, You must stop here. We met the owner, Andrew, who gave us a great insight in to the process and his story. Couldn’t leave without buying a case of wine either.
Delightful little winery in the heart of eine country. Tastings in the vineyard, knowledgeable friendly staff and a still riesling you could die for. A must stop in the Beamsville area
Loved the wine and chatting with Andrew!
Visited August 5th. Loved the winery. Small, intimate and cozy. Sara was so sweet. Very good tasting, will be back.
Good quality wines but small quantity producer and they sell out every year, so there is nothing to taste other than the most recent vintage which may not have had enough time to develop.
This winery was the sweetest little spot to hit on a Saturday afternoon. The owner was very kind, pleasant, funny and knowledgeable! He made the experience what it was - exceptionally fantastic. We had a little tent, with heaters and twinkling lights (maintained very good social distancing measures). We quite enjoyed the Smitten Pink Sparkling (into my wine rack it goes!). Check this place out. Super intimate space.
great tasting wine
The personal attention that was given to us by the owner was second to none...Cheers!
This small winery pulled out every stop for our group! They were all prepared for us as we arrived and even made us fresh soup to try with our wonderful wine! They were so polite and knowledgeable we will for surely go again! Also have to mention they had awesome merchandise for purchase
Excellent wine and hospitality! The owner gave us a great little French onion soup sampler to transition from wines. We went to all the great wineries in the area but decided this was our favorite. Great job!
Quite nice place . Hospitality is amazing and a great selection of wines. Will definitely go back again .
I took my wife and a bunch of our friends and family on a wine tour in the Beamsville-Lincoln area for her 30th birthday. We have done a few tours before and my wife and I can say that this has been our favourite stop to date. The wine was outstanding and Andrew the owner was awesome. He had a lot of great information, stories and jokes. What this winery lacks in size, it more than makes up for in its wines. Next time we are in town we will absolutely be stopping in again. Thanks for a great experience Andrew! Keep up the great work!
Great wine
Quaint tasting room and extremely friendly staff. Generous tasting flights. We particularly enjoyed the Cabernet Franc. Andrew (owner) served us himself and gave a charming history of their enterprise. Thanks so much for the wonderful visit!!
I loved this place. We just happened to pull in and it was just what I needed. The tastings and relaxed setting made for a perfect afternoon. My favourite was the sparkling wine ????. Staff was great too. I wish I had gone sooner. Will definitely be back soon.
Very nice, very small winery. They only had 4 wines left in stock when I visited, but the Chardonnay seemed a bit special and the Pinot Noir good. Friendly and helpful server. Bought some wine to take away.
Andrew is very knowledgeable about his wines . Loved the cozy relaxed atmosphere. Made us feel like as if we were in backcountry France or Italy . The wines we tasted were Delicious. Will definitely recommend this gem of the place. Will definitely come back
Can't say enough! If you're wine tasting in Niagara On The Lake, then go just a bit out of the area as this is a must. Wines are fabulous, our server was a student studying wines and was very knowledgeable and we got to meet the owner who gave us a bit of education on wine making. Fun time all around. Highly recommend We will return.????
2018 Pinot...????
This was the first leg of 3 stops. Unfortunately we were rushed as we were a little late. The passion that makes this vineyard was evident in the taste and explanations we received by the owner. Highly recommended
Stopped by for a tasting, great set up out in the vineyard. Friendly staff, tasty charcuterie and nice wines. We couldn’t resist buying a bottle of the sparkling riesling. Our favourite stop of the day and definitely a place we’ll recommend to others as a must try!
We went to Back 10 Cellars with a wine tour and it was the highlight of the entire tour. Andrew was a wonderful host, all of the wines were all lovely, and the honey was tasty too. I highly recommend you make a stop here.
Just left this winery. Absolutely love the wine. But to top it off the owner stopped by our table to chat. Loved the one on one conversation. He made some recommendations for other winery’s. Will definitely come back.
Visited this winery Oct 14. Great personalized service. Highly recommend tastings!
Doch was amazing! He was an expert on all the wines we tasted and was very friendly. The owners were very nice and welcoming and accommodated our group of 10. The land is beautiful and wine delicious. Highly recommend!
Fantastic!
