I got the jerk chicken here. I was in the area and decided to grab a quick slice then I noticed this lovely place. The portion was small and it was pricey , but I left completely satisfied!

So I know I'm a 30 something guy with little Caribbean food knowledge but I know what jerk chicken tastes like and what I was served wasn't jerk chicken. I ordered a large jerk chicken and I got 6 pieces (chunks) of chicken in gravy. Chicken was decent, didn't bother eating the rest of the stuff.

Aside from the good food and the great customer service by the Jamaican male owner(Nice gentleman with the grey beard) and the other female servers, they need to get rid of the light skin short fat middle aged lady that works there. She has terrible attitude and I had to wait 3 mins and I still didn't get my order taken(this was at 1PM on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy). She never smiles and doesn't provide good customer service. I suggest Firing her because she is incredibly awful at what she does. So I'll have to give this a 1 star till they change up their management staff.

This restaurant used to make some of the best jerk chicken around. I have not eaten there in a while and recently ordered take out on May 12, 2018. What a huge disappointment! It was the worst jerk I have ever had...tough, super dry and bland. I will never go back. What a shame as it used to be such a great place for jerk.

One word INCONSISTENCY. sometimes the food is good and others times it was horrid. Dont get the jerk chicken. What a disgrace to real jerk chicken. And tasted like it was sitting there for a while. Yuck. The ladies working there have attitude problems. The owner was cool and pleasant. Food was thrown in the garbage. Never eating there again.

Overall the food is just too inconsistent to give a good rating. I live in the area and I have tried their food multiple times, a few years back the curry goat was amazingly, nice rich gravy and white rice, we loved it. Now the goat is just not worth buying, looks like they add water to stretch the gravy, it's runny and the rice is hard. Same thing with the fried Chicken it use to be fresh and now it always taste like overnight food and also they're using packed gravy. My Dad came to visit me and I bought him some breakfast there, he usually so happy to have some Jamaican food hes happy with anything, he hated it. The really need to do better and stop cutting corners.

The food came quickly, at an appropriate temperature, and it tasted truly Jamaican. I got the fish soup (Tuesday's soup) and brown stew fish, along with a fried dumpling and saltfish on the side. (Wow, that's a lotta fish!) It all tasted great. The atmosphere felt comfortable. You can also get Digicel credit here. And they have Jamaican soda.

Before trying this place out i read the reviews . And yes the service of the staff can definitely get better but the jerk chicken was great ! Been going there now 5 times as im working near by on highway 50 . Brought two co workers and they said the same . But yes the food isnt exactly the same every time but still delicious . If you only had it once and your reviewing then please try it again .

the food tastes like it's 3 days old and I ordered oxtail and goat the oxtail had 4 piece of meat and the large goat had like 6 and mostly bone I'll give the goat 2 stars and never coming back if I knew I'd rather of ate burgerking

Easily my favourite place to get Jerk chicken or Ox Tail. The owner is a really friendly guy with a warm smile and the rest of the staff follows his lead. Favourite place to get a patty and coco bread too :)

My first time there today. Of course I love my Caribbean food. But I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my food. About 10 minutes for the front server to come to the front. Then I see him come out with a big old beard with no mesh on it. Then....... he has my food in front of him but busy taking in the liquor. I thought customers were priority....I had the jerk chicken it was not even close to jerk i put my own sauce to it. But it’s only my opinion. You taste!!!!

Ordered the jerk chicken Tuesday special. Price posted was $4.99, Got charged $12.50 for a box smaller than what the specials in. The girl taking the order clearly made a mistake and try to justify it and the owner refused to give me a refund even though the food was untouched , and wasn’t my mistake On my way out , I left the food on top of their trash inside where it belongs. -10/10

Wack. They have a poster outside regarding the $4.99 deals. The picture looks like a lot of food for $4.99 but nope, it was small plate. The food tasted good though, I'll give them that but you can get so much more for the same price elsewhere.
