Winery adventures! Gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery, and fantastic food and drink make for a very relaxing day. I knew Willow Springs made award winning ice wines, but I didn't realize they had a number of other award winning wines as well. Ice wine is my favorite though, so perhaps that's why. After a delicious meal including tender prime rib, juicy salmon, fresh roasted veggies, and a number of other tasty tidbits, their ice wine was the perfect sweet ending.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Willow Springs this month and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Despite the difficulties that COVID created, the team (we worked with Shauna and Michael) were responsive, helpful, and professional. We ended up having our reception in the outdoor tent space and it was a wonderful experience. The scenery was gorgeous and they did a fantastic job decorating the space. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the venue looked like a movie set. We would have to agree with that! I'd also like to note that we had a few guests with dietary restrictions and the team was able to accommodate with the menu. We appreciated that, as did our guests. We can't get over how much fun we had - it truly was a memorable day and we're so happy with picked Willow Springs as our venue!

Famous on their Ice Wine, but we do not like Ice wine (too sweet), so we got their red wine and white wine instead. They tasted on par. Maybe we should get Ice wine in the future. Over the long weekend we held a Cycling Event to raise funds for the HRH Foundation. Everything was fantastic. Michael and his staff were welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was fulfilling and the lunch buffet was delicious. The wine that was paired with our meal was refreshing. I would recommend this vineyard for all occasions. We got married at Willow Springs Winery less than two weeks ago. The staff (especially Michael and Braelyn) are incredibly helpful/flexible and were able to bring our vision to life, despite the circumstances. We are so grateful that this amazing place exists, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. There is also a villa on-site, which we rented the night before the wedding. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue to tie the knot. On an unrelated note, their wine is also spectacular!

We had our wedding at Willow Springs and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Wilson answered ever question promptly and we were invited up often to chat in person and taste wine! Planning was made much easier with the amount of support provided. The food provided by the caterer was delicious and beautiful. A gorgeous but winery with tasty wine! We went for a wedding and it was absolutely magical. From the backdrop of the fields, a cute pond and lovely surrounding area. The winery itself is air conditioned to the max (perfect for guests escaping the heat) and has a lovely wooden interior. The place where the reception was held was beautiful, rustic and simply magical. The food was fantastic, the wine absolutely delicious (I was drinking their Riesling all night) and the staff were on it. I never had an empty glass, they found my lost lipstick and were friendly to boot.

Customer service is top notch, they really want you to enjoy the experience whether you purchase anything or not. That being said, their wines are quite nice, especially the ice wines! This venue agreed to host a “socially distance wedding“ but did not set anything up accordingly. The chairs were all close together. This venue is not prepared to responsibly host events. Edit: in response to the owner, this is not the wedding I was talking about. There was no pavilion, there was no rain predicted for that day & it was bright and sunny for the whole day, the owner did not mention the correct date, and the chairs were not socially distanced. We sat under the sun the entire time. Again, this venue is not prepared to responsibly host events during this period of COVID-19.

I got married there last July and I cannot say enough good things about my entire experience. Michael helped us plan our day and he couldn't have been more helpful. He put every concern we had to ease. He was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. The entire staff was. Gwen was so sweet!! My nieces and nephews adored her! She left the venue to go get them their favourite kind of chips! I actually think she took them to get them in the golf kart. She was playing with them and making sure they had everything they needed. She was so considerate. The kindness of willow spring will not be something I ever forget. They will always have a special place in my heart!! If you are looking for a beautiful venue and staff who will help you with every detail with a smile on their face then willow springs is that!!! Gorgeous venue, high ceilings, and open space. They've got a large variety of delicious award winning (double gold!) wines from their winemaker Mr. Testa. You won't find it at the LCBO, so you need to come here. A bit of sampling and you'll leave with a big smile and 3 bottles like we did.

The venue is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the staff were attentive and had great attention to detail to ensure our event went off perfectly. My wife and I hosted our wedding ceremony and reception here last weekend, and amongst COVID, we had actually rescheduled 2 separate times. Michael was so understanding and did everything he could to ensure that our wedding went off smoothly and that every detail was handled. They had many vendors available, and frankly the outdfoor ceremony space was picture perfect, the staff made us and all our guests feel warm and accepted. Everything from the ceremony, where the staff ensured there was a lovely welcome and signing table, and decorative wine barrels along the aisle, to the cocktail hour with delicious appetisers and wines for our guests, to the outdoor reception which was beautiful with a great view of the vineyard. Also the food was delicious, the Filet Mignon was a huge hit with our guests! Many of our guests stayed around afterwards to take pictures on the vineyard and the pond. Michael worked tirelessly at all hours of day and night, walking us along the entire process and we felt comfortable knowing that he had everything under control. Thank you so much Michael and Willow Springs, you made our day perfect =) P.S. it doesn't hurt that their wines are so good too. Special shout out to the Cabernet Savignon and the icewine vidal!

I love this place! First, we booked our wedding here and we fell in love with the atmosphere, the people, everything. With COVID-19, we were scared of having issues making changes for our event, but they were extremely supportive; we’ll now have our ceremony this year and party next year. Their food menu for events is delicious. Second, We’ve been there multiple times for wine tastings, bringing family and friends and they are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing winery specialized in Iced wines with great quality and taste. They also have a space for events like weddings, dinners and parties. The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of award winning Iced wines where you can taste in order to make your best choice. They have great and complex aroma some more fruity than others, very smooth and soft texture on the palate, perfect balance of acidity, sweetness and structure. If you are a wine lover, this is a place you want to visit. They also have small souvenir section where you can find maple syrup, chocolates and honey.

She mentioned a number of facts and was good at catering to the likes and dislikes of our group. She actually introduced me to one of my current favourites wines. This place is beautiful for a wedding, the grounds, the hall and most of all the service is phenomenal! We DJ's a wedding there and it was suppose to be an outdoor ceremony, but the weather got really bad so all the decor had to be transferred to the large tent and the staff pulled it off, drove people from the parking lot to the tent so they wouldn't get wet, they were amazing. Recently attended my friend's intimate and beautiful wedding at Willow Springs. Had no idea there was a winery so close to the city. The wedding ceremony was held outdoors with a beautiful background of the willow trees/pond and a country-side feel of the beautiful vineyard. The building itself was on the smaller scale but nonetheless had a wonderful cozy rustic feel. I enjoyed the main entrees, the steak was cooked just right and salmon was cooked to perfection. The waiting staff was quite professional and accommodating as well. I wanted to purchase some wine and Michael ( believe he is the manager) came down to chat with me. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to give me a 101 lesson on some wine and ice wine. I could tell he was very passionate about wine. He gave me a sample of their famous ice wine to try and I really liked it and ended up purchasing 2 bottles. On top of that Michael also gave me an ice wine spicy jam for free. I really enjoyed my experience there and will be going back for their wine tasting soon =)

Was in a wedding at Willow Springs.. it was very unorganized. The bridal suite was double booked and when we arrived the morning of the wedding to get ready the floors were sticky from previous guests with their plastic drink cups still laying around. It was an outdoor wedding and no one directed us. Overall we had a blast and the location is beautiful and makes for great pictures.. but there were some pretty large bumps in the road that the owner did not care to smoothe out. It causes extra stress for the bride.

My husband and I love visiting Willow Springs winery. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming thanks to Michael and the other staff. He is always willing to share his knowledge about different wines and we always learn something new. The patio out back enjoying a glass of wine and the vineyard is where we like to spend our time (when not chatting with Michael). My favourite is the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2014 Cab Franc. This place is a not so hidden gem. You step into an Aura when you visit there. My family of 6 adults and 4 kids went to the winery. I recently visited Willow Springs and it was a great experience all around. Wine tastings are $18 for four tasting, however the fee is waved if you buy a bottle. The winery is well known for their ice wines, and once you taste it you can definitely see why. I bought both a bottle of ice wine and late harvest and both are delicious. Doing our tasting was a gentleman named Michael who was extremely polite and knowledgable. He spoke to us for a long period of time and did not make us feel rushed at all. There is also a patio at the back of the main building overlooking the vineyards where you can go to order by the glass along with some cheese. I'll definitely be going back to check that out!

Had our wedding reception here in July 2018 and could not have been more happy with the venue! The venue was cozy, romantic, and rustic yet classy - perfect for a wedding. The vinyard and surrounding trees/pond outside the venue were perfect backdrops for beautiful wedding pictures, which we took advantage of. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. They were also very patient when we went for our wine tasting to decide on the wine for the wedding. The food was also very delicious. We decided on a buffet and my guests loved it. Our biggest regret was for not taking the leftovers home! I would highly recommend this venue for future brides and grooms!

We shared one tasting of 4 different wines on beautiful sunny patio: rose - amazing, pinot noir and merlot - very good and cabernet franc ice wine - amazing as well if you like ice wine like us! The servers were attentive and nice we got extra snacks and tryed fire and ice jelly which we loved. After tasting we bought 2 bottles of wines and got jelly as a gift. Willow Springs Winery has been a special place for my wife and I for the past year. We first reached out in August 2019 to inquire about holding our wedding there for late 2020. We made a visit and decided to book with them. Michael and Wilson were our main points of contact and they have always made us feel confident and reassured us of any concerns. Due to COVID-19, our plans were thrown into uncertainty. Michael was always maintaining email or text message contact and providing constant updates regarding wedding planning. He made us feel prioritized even though he had many other couples to deal with. We were given options to postpone to a date next year or continue as planned. We were offered to hold a small gathering with as few as 10 people without penalty for not meeting minimum attendance. We were offered to split the ceremony and reception to different dates. Basically, Michael made sure we felt no worry about however we wanted our wedding day to go. We ended up holding an outdoor wedding with 50 guests by the willow trees, and an indoor reception in the winemakers pavilion. Our guests loved the venue and the food. We couldn’t have asked for a better planned day given the current situation. We will definitely be making visits in the future to celebrate our anniversary.

Yesterday on Sunday we visit a farm in Stouffville . Willow Springs farm Winery surprise us with variety of great local vines and other products like row unpasteurized honey, maple syrup. Recently, me and my boyfriend visited Willow Springs Winery. Let me tell you that it is an amazing place for a date! The atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant. The wine tasting was interesting and informative and the stuff members are very friendly as well :) Overall, it is a beautiful place with the great costumer service and it definitely has all of the components to create a unique and enjoyable experience!

Best wine tasting I’ve ever had. We have travelled around the globe and have never experienced the level of hospitality we experienced at Willow Springs. Michael is a gem. Ask for him when you go. Definitely try the Sauv Blanc, the iced Cab Sauv and the Red Pepper Jelly. We will be back for sure!

For the first time, I and my friend found the winery last year while we were exploring for wine tasting near GTA and we loved it. I have visited there many times since then and taken many friends there. Everybody loves it. I had my wedding reception here and it was the most amazing time! The event space was so picturesque, especially by the pond with the beautiful willow trees and the stones. The staff really went out of their way to make it a special day for me and my wife. Everybody loved the delicious food and the great service. The signature cocktails were a great and popular addition to our reception. I am so grateful towards Michael and Shauna who made everything possible. Thank you Willow Springs again!

This was my first visit to a winery North and East of Toronto, and wow! The location is beautiful, the willow trees, pond and grape vines are serene and served as a perfect backdrop for the wedding party that was getting ready for it's guests. Inside the very quaint and rustic home is the wine store, bar, and tasting room, in addition to a separate event room. We were looked after by Moon who clearly loved his work, and served everything we tasted with a deep understanding and passion. He explained everything and we were absolutely DELIGHTED with our experience. I bought the INCREDIBLE 2018 Cabarnet Sauvignon, the SWEET & DELICIOUS 2016 Testa Vidal Icewine and a jar of the Ice Wine Jelly that was AMAZING! You must visit! Ask for Moon, he will look after you. Thank you Moon!
