Le petit musée était très très intéressant et instructif. Ils était possible de poursuivre l'apprentissage en se promenant et en lisant les pancartes qui se trouvaient dans les vignes. Un petit restaurant annexé au vignoble permet de manger une bouché avant ou après les dégustations. Point intéressant, le site était équipé de chargeur pour voiture électrique. Merci!

Beautiful winery! They redesigned the customer experience (due to Covid19), with large information boards about the process of how they make wine and the history of L'Orpailleur. I learned a lot about the techniques and the challenges they face year around. No wine tasting obviously, but a warm welcome and the staff can still answer your questions. If in area, don't miss it!

The recommended vineyard in Quebec. Tried ones in Ontario and other European ones. This one is not tasting at the COVID. So bought the $28 most expensive bottle of Chardonnay for a try. Announced by the salespersons that it won the medal over blind taste. The wine was also put in the American oak barrel according to the salesperson. They say the wine is chilled well for opening and tasting outside. When it is opened, they used the screw that doesn’t hurt the cork, but the temperature of the wine bottle is not satisfactory. The taste is hmm, spice, wax and a bit smoky, worse than any bottle even in Costco. I wanna enrich my knowledge in wine medals here, so I went online according to the photo I took at the shelf. Look carefully, the medal has 2020 and 2018 on it, the bottle is 2019. Not even the medal has nothing to do with the bottle, the website has not mentioned this bottle in none of these years. This is cheating that I don’t like.

Un autre 4 ans à l'intérieur fait qu'il est vieillit 10 ans donc un peu plus dispendieux qu'un simple mystele. Pas de dégustation disponibles à la boutique lorsque nous sommes passé mi-juin. Vignoble et boutique intéressantes à visiter. Collection impressionnante de débouche bouteilles de toutes époques !

Awful experience on August 22 at 2:30p.m. We were a party of 5, the hostess at the place asked us very nicely if we wanted to go to the boutique or the restaurant. We wanted to eat so she indicated us to get in line, they were 3 groups in line before us. We waited 20 to 30 minutes. After a couple with a baby got in, the hostess at the restaurant told us they were full in a very agressive way. We were astounded. There was a table with 6 seats empty just in front of us and I obviously asked about it, and she replied, again, in a very rude way, that that table was reserved. Fair enough, but at least 4 groups before us got in no questions asked. I asked again if something could be done, we were in line for a while and people were also waiting behind us. She insisted that there was no table for us. We asked how much time we had to wait for a table as we were willing to wait, she said at least 40 minutes but had to leave a name and a number. When my friend said his name, cause, yes, we were willing to wait, she ignored us and didn't even take our phone number. We were absolutely discriminated. It was such a random act of discrimination we could not even understand what was going on. The hostess lady which was outside, asked us what happened and why we were not eating. We thabked her and left. I don't recommend to attend a place who discriminates people. We will never return or recommend this place. Feel bad for the hostess at the door who was very kind. Please note the 5 of us were keeping the 2mts distabce and wearing masks as recommended eventhough we were outside. This person just did not want to serve us for some reason. I really hope it was not because of us speaking in a foreign language, but as this was such a clear discriminatory act, we got to the conclusion that it was the reason for refusing us a table as we were the only people whose entry was denied. We were even denied for a table. Shame on this restaurant and hostess. Never again.

My husband and I just got married there and absolutely loved it. The wine is amazing, the views incredible, the food delicious, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Did a tour for $10 per person, you get a wine glass and three "degustations" that they choose (the blanc, the rose, and the part d'ange), and a visit around the vineyard and a look at the machines. Was guided by Pierre, who was very informative and friendly. Also tasted the ice wine (one degustation for $2), which is definitely a must try. The space is lovely and you can stay in the area for a picnic, etc.

Only 4 wines are offered for tasting, which is clearly insufficient compared to the wine offer. I bought what I was allowed to taste: Gris Orpailleurs 2020 (2 bottles). Excellent wine by the way !! But the tasting experience was much more complete (and generous) at the Côtes d'Ardoise vineyard. For the same price: 6 different products with, certainly, the triple in quantity in the glass !! With a full description of the host when pouring the wine into the glass. This is a complete tasting experience !! I will nevertheless return to l'Orpailleur to experience the restaurant this time. At this time, I will be able to complete the tasting by paying for my glass !! (Original) Ma visite à ce vignoble (expérience dégustation) a été plutôt moyenne bien que j'apprécie leur produits (ceux disponibles en SAQ). Seulement 4 vins sont offerts en dégustation, ce qui est nettement insuffisant par rapport à l'offre de vins. J'ai acheté ce qu'on m'a permis de gouter: Gris Orpailleurs 2020 (2 bouteilles). Elle a même prit le temps de prendre une photo de notre groupe. Visite intéressante, bien orchestré, vidéo , dégustation et explication apprécié de tous.
