I was given a deluxe tasting as a 30 birthday gift and it was great! The service was excellent and our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was delicious and they really tailored the selection based on our preferences. The location was easy to find and beautiful. I really cannot say enough about this experience. I will even mention that there was a little delay in checking out at the end because they could not find my gift card on file; but, saying that the staff were great and eventually found it and were very apologetic for the confusion. My guest and I were blown away by our experience and will definitely go again! I highly recommend going.

We visited Roost for the second time yesterday. I'm happy to say both our experiences here have been amazing. The staff are so friendly, the location is absolutely beautiful, and the wine and charcuterie are so so good. I'd make a point of visiting any time I'm in the area, I absolutely love this winery!

Enjoyed the deluxe tasting which included a guided wine tasting Of 8 wines and charcuterie board. It happened to rain and our spot was guaranteed inside instead. Beautiful gardens and patio area for pictures. Staff were wonderful! Highly recommend.

I have taken several out of town guests to Roost for wine tasting. I have never been disappointed with the wine, the cheese boards, and most importantly, the wonderful staff who guide you through the wine tasting. Visiting Roost is now on my regular list of activities to take guests and visitors coming to Collingwood for some R&R.

Friendly staffs. Costco quality cheese board, but in generous portion. Large selection of wine available for a small vineyard, but the 8 we tried were all dissappointing unfortunately. All tasted very bland with not much characteristic, and many had only noticeable sharp acidic finish. Could be due to being opened for long time. Unpleasant taste regardless. I’d wish they focus on making and improving a few variety instead.

As someone who has not done many vineyards, the service and knowledge was wonderful from our server Don who has been there for 2 yrs….deluxe wine tasting is what our group of 6 experienced. We then Went for a short walk with a glass of our choice to the front end of the property. Wonderful view. Would have enjoyed more of a walk or a tour of the property..and a tour of the processing plant that they have on site…found it to be a bit on the pricey side…but that might be the norm.

Save your time and check out a different winery. Regardless of a pandemic all businesses should be offering consistent customer service and based on the Roost's reviews I believe my experience did not reflect that. Thankfully the wine was good but there should be a restructuring of managerial staff and consistent policies.

We had the loveliest time at this winery - a hidden gem in the area. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere, including pandemic protocols that put us at ease for an indoor wine tasting in their beautiful restored barn/tasting room. Moreover, when dark storm clouds rolled in and we received tornado warnings on our phones the owner graciously moved everyone downstairs to wait out the storm and do an impromptu winery tour. The wines exceeded our expectations and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. And the cheese plate was so good! Highly recommend.

Great wines and lovely decor, but the owners really add to the experience They invite you into their world and explain the littlest details that make for quite the experience. Wines were all great and we ended up buying a couple of bottles. Definitely will be back in the summer for the chocolate and wine pair.

Beautiful spot and delicious wine! Our tasting took place in a cute little pergola overlooking the vineyard - spectacular views of blue mountain. The tasting was a great value (5 flights and a charcuterie board), staff was warm and friendly. Bought bottles of almost everything we tasted and highly recommend!

It goes without saying that you should try the wine here but, the chocolate board was a fun surprise. When we were there they had a delicious pumpkin chocolate which I HIGHLY recommend trying if not buying.

My husband stopped here to celebrate our anniversary. We are so glad we did. The two ladies at the bar were so wonderfully helpful. During the tasting they taught us about each wine we were trying. Everything was amazing. They have something for everyone. I would highly recommend going here.

Hi my daughter booked the deluxe wine tasting over 1 1/2 month ago for my birthday. We got there before the time. We were seating in the worst possible place besides a wall. There was 3 of us. You were unable to see the vineyard or any thing else it was in a corner. We asked our server If could move she said she can try. There was a spot that over looked the vineyard which people had left. So I went in to speak to our server Tia and she said that seat was already taken so a set up of people that came in after us went to sit down. No more than 10 minutes later they moved in to a table. So when our server came back asked why they were aloud to move and we weren’t. She said she would talk to manager. She came back and all they offered was a free glass of wine. We were extremely disappointed with the service but still bought over 7 bottles of wine. We spent over 250 dollars and this is the service we received. It has a rating of 4.9. So not sure why we received the service we did. My daughter doesn’t a lot of time planning this special day for me and she was extremely upset and so was I. She’s a university student and works and her time is very limited. And so is her money. As a mother it’s was very dis Harding that this was the experience we received and my daughter was so upset. It set the tone for the rest of time we spent there. I would love to hear back from the owners as the people they have working for them is not great with customer service. I understand we are in a pandemic and there are rules to follow but if they can do it for one customer why can’t they do it for others,

A very cozy winery with nice spots to seat and take pics. The wine tasting experience is calmed and enjoyable. Due to Covid, remember to make a reservation as they are complying with the social distancing standards and the parking lot is limited.

I am sat drinking a 2018 white from Roost at home in London with my wife. Every time we crack out a bottle (of whatever colour) we are conflicted - we want to drink it quickly because it's so crisp and tasty but the quicker we drink it, the quicker it will be gone :( Couldn't recommend the wines from these fine winemakers highly enough.

Stopped by this winery this past weekend. Never have i had such poor customer service (even during Covid). We spent over $100 on wine and they wouldn't let us try a single tasting. Not only that but the wine was terrible, no wonder they wouldn't let us try it!! Would not recommend, will not be returning.

Came here for my anniversary and it was great! The servers were so friendly and helpful and very attentive. The atmosphere is incredible! And of course the wine is exceptional. I have never been fond of white wine until now. Frontenac is probably the most pleasant wine I've ever had. My husband and I each had a glass after taste testing it and then left with 2 bottles as well. We plan to make this a yearly visit for our anniversary from now on.

The Roost is a short drive from Blue Mountain and was a perfect addition to our anniversary weekend. After enjoying the scenery around the building, which has lots of outdoor seating, we went inside where we were greeted with glasses of sparkling wine. It was a lovely surprise. The grounds are beautiful and the interior of the building is so comfortable with mulitiple seating options. Their wine choices were unique and i enjoyed hearing about them. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything, but we did pick up a few. The charcuterie plates were delicious and the perfect size. Thank you.

If you’re visiting here due to high rating and good comments, you need to read this one as well. Unfortunately my experience here was super disappointing, but not because of the service, atmosphere, or people(not saying they’re amazing either). The quality of wine is just not there. Idk how ppl enjoy these wines.. tried a flight with Sparking rose, Frontenac, Foch, and Ruby. Nothing on the nose and palette but super acidic finish and for Ruby.. idk about dessert wine so I’ll pass. Also had a glass of chardonnay 2018, very poor possibly the worst chardonnay I’ve tried. If you’re a wine enthusiast and looking for a hidden gem, this is not a place to visit. The winemaker needs to work on their wines.

A beautiful new winery in The Town of the Blue Mountains. The hosts, Michael and Jessica, are so welcoming and their staff is lovely. The experience begins right when you park your car and have views of the gorgeous valley. We tasted all the wines and purchased a few of each as we found them all unique and enjoyable. The old bank barn conversion into tasting room is gorgeous and so is the patio with sweeping views of the countryside. I am so excited to have this close to where I live. If you are coming to Blue Mountain or visiting this area be sure to include The Roost as one of your destinations.

Good wines, friendly service. Typical norther selections, lighter reds and some nice crisp whites. But disappointed with the knowledge of our server, he didn't know what I meant when I asked if they were growing all vinifera or if they also grew any local grapes (labrusca). Knew about their specific wine flavours though. Nice location, beautiful views and setting. A few comfortable spots and a number of tables. Could use a few more lounge chairs, we were the 3rd small group and half just stood.

The Roost should definitely be on your short list if you are visiting the area. The property is gorgeous, and their seating is we'll equipped for social distancing. I would highly recommend you pre-book your tasting if it's your first time to The Roost. My partner and I chose the Deluxe seated tasting, which comes with 8 samples and a small cheese/meat plate which we both recommend. The desert wine was amazing! and we can see why it's a best seller. Wines were overall quite diverse and our server was very nice and welcoming.

The wine tastings with charcuterie are absolutely worth it. You may not enjoy every wine, but you'll definitely find something you'll like. The staff are great and very friendly. The winery is worth the drive and the view is amazing. Drink the wine, see the sights and take in the view.

We had THE BEST TIME here on Saturday afternoon! Me and a party of 7 other girls stopped here for a Bachelorette party and the staff went above and beyond our expectations! We made a reservation for the original tasting experience, but were surprised with a private group tasting in our own room when we arrived. Eric was a great sport and knowledgable host for us while we were there, we loved him! Also the charcuterie boards offered with the tastings were so unique and delicious - and everyone got their own - *chefs kiss*! We definitely recommend everyone visit this winery. The staff are all super friendly, the winery itself it beautiful and the views are amazing! I will definitely be back :)
