This Winery belongs to the category of Winery.
We sat on the patio for a tasting and enjoyed one of their snack boxes. The box had an excellent selection and the cheese was especially good - it was plenty for two people to share.
Came here with a large group for a birthday. We sampled 4 wines and the server was great! Gave us a lot of information while we were upstairs for a mini tour of the facilities. The people here were very friendly! I enjoyed 1/4 wines we tried but I wouldn’t mind going back to try more next time. The Prosecco was delicious here!
The staff is a marvelous bunch! Very sincere, accommodating, and hospitable. The wines are always delightful and innovative. I would highly recommend coming here to experience what they have to offer. One of my favourites is the Small Lot Gamay - always a winner with guests. Thank you!
We always enjoy our annual visit to the winery where we find chardonnays just the way we like 'em! Recommend the wine club which is very personal and and easy experience. Have taken full advantage during the pandemic. We live in a small town so direct access to wines not in our LCBO is great.
One of my favorite wineries. Love the Pinot Noirs and Gamay. Would recommend.
What a catch ❤️ Excellent winery. Gorgeous construction, wonderful staff. We loved our visit ????
Fantastic wine selection!
Great experience start to finish. The in-house retail had Amy on staff. She was bubbly, welcoming and so knowledgeable. She knew right away what my mother and I wanted and directed us to where we needed to go for our tasting and appetizer experience. Our time on the patio was peaceful with a great view of their vineyard and their staff were so attentive. This place has such a kind and welcoming vibe about it and the quality of their wine goes without saying. I highly recommend you make it a stop on your tour!
I have loved Malivoire wines for years. They consistently produce high quality wine at a reasonable price. Their gamays and roses are not to be missed - excellent examples of very high quality wines that can be produced on the Beamsville Bench. Great experience to visit the winery as well, no art classes, brunch menus or insta-worthy excursions....just excellent wine!
Love the wine
We arrived with a limo of 8 people. They refused us service because we did not make an appointment. Having worked in the wine industry, and tourism industry this was the most unprofessional way to handle a very small group of people. There was zero accommodation and they would not budge. I'm quite speechless as I have never been treated in such a manner for such a small "Group". Management and ownership should review how they can deal with this kind of a situation more professionally instead of outright rejection of service. No other winery large or small rejected us that day.
We experienced our first true Malivoire experience during the 2020 Ice Wine Festival, where my husband and I agreed that their 2018 Gewürztraminer Icewine was the best ice wine we tasted over our winery passport. Affectionately known at the winery as 'their liquid gold'. While there, we took advantage of their tasting room, sampling the Che Bello and the Gamay's. We left with a few bottles! Their customer service and attention to detail is fantastic, and it helps that you can pick up some cheese to accompany your wine right on site. A few months after our visit, we were left wanting more and the free shipping of 6+ bottles during COVID helped us in stocking up our wine fridge. I've recommended a stop at Malivoire to all friends and family heading to Niagara, or looking to purchase a bottle or two online. It's truly an underrated gem! A few of our favourite bottles: - The Che Bello ($17.95) Sparkling is a must try, especially at the under $20 price. Simple, light and refreshing. - The Musque Spritz ($24.95) is another hit for the perfect summer backyard patio day at home during quarantine. Similar to the Che Bello, it's filled with unexpected deliciousness and is very light to the taste. - Small Lot Gamay ($21.95) - I'm a big red fan and this hits all the notes. - Stouck Viognier ($24.95) - Big fan of viognier and Niagara viognier is hard to find at the LCBO. Take advantage when at the winery to find this beauty. Hints of tangerine, pear and ginger...Mmm. Highly recommend a visit! You won't be disappointed.
By far my favourite winery to visit on the Niagara Peninsula, and I do so every time I'm in the area, no matter the others I visit, Malivoire is always first on my list... Malivoire consistently produce distinct, excellent quality wine; I cannot remember even a mediocre bottle, they've always been excellent. Visiting the environmentally conscious/responsible winery is always a pleasure, it is a unique place (you can look up and through the glass ceiling actually see the workings of the gravity-operated winery above the tasting area) with super friendly people serving wine and sharing their abundance of knowledge about what they serve, the winery, and wine in general. Myself and my companions always leave very pleased and impressed having always tried (and purchased) some fantastic Malivoire wines. Go, you will love it, everyone does.
We visited on a weekday, but apparently on weekends there’s a cheese truck on site. Either way we had a pleasant visit, they undercharged us for our wine tasting. Lovely people. Support your local wineries and purchase directly. Great wines.
Che Bello rose very good this year
I was shocked that I had never heard of this winery before because the wine was very good. We didn’t spend a lot of time here, even though we were the only ones here because the pours didn’t allow for it, “one at a time”, and there were no stools. Our host was friendly and informative, and it was beautiful. I bought this rose because my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also bought a gamay, which was delicious. Our daughter tasted the ice wine which I would normally not enjoy, but this one, was perfect! This is a hidden gem of a winery. Only the rose is available at LCBO but they do have wine membership. May have to look more closely at that, but I enjoy visiting that neighbourhood for tastings. This Ladybug will be by the pool all summer long!!!
Great place to stop for a glass of wine and a snack on the patio!
Great experience, Great Cheese truck when we went!
Definitely worth to try wines here. LadyBug 2017 Rose is medal winner at the 2018 Ontario Wine Awards, and my girl friends love it very much. They also share the knowledge of wine and provide great service.
We stopped here as part of the Niagara Icewine Festival. The staff are super friendly, and we enjoyed the wines we tasted. It is a small space, and simple, but pretty.
Nice people and good wine!
Just a really pretty winery
Dropped by today and they've implemented new Covid-19 safety measures, meaning you need to book tastings. We just went to pick up a few bottles since we were in the area. The hostess was delightful, friendly and even with the changes they've made, it's a neat place to drop in.
Visited Malivoire for the 3rd time (1st during during Covid changes). The staff, the wine, the experience was all perfect! From bringing my dog a water bowl to taking time to answer my questions, your service was exceptional. And the wine..... amazing!
My wife and I loved this winery as they offered lots of variety white wine. I loved the taste, felt soothing just perfect to unwind at the end of the day. The customer service is excellent, I bought a case of different kind last weekend, Highly recommended it, Thank you Malivoire Staff!!
Darlene made our experience amazing. She found us space to do a tasting in the very crowded tasting room, was a wealth of knowledge, and was able to multi task while still being personable and efficient. Venue was very different and neat to see. Cheese truck was an awesome addition and the couple who ran it were very sweet and eager to help. The cheese was very delious and worth buying.
Great atmosphere for tastings and boutique to take your favs with you!
Great wines and super friendly staff!
This place is one of the best in the area. Beautiful location, amazing wines, and the staff are beyond phenomenal. Special note about Tammy, she is a true and absolute gem that makes that place. Coming back again next year!
This small but unique winery has a lot to offer. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly about wine offerings, the tasting patio is open for business but most of all, they have the one and only Rose Moira in stock! All natural, no pesticides and truly Niagara.
Host the best wine event. A must to visit and the staff is exceptional and knowledgeable
We had such a great time at this Winery. Amy suggested very good wines according to our tastes. When you arrive, people welcome you with a delicious sparkling wine and cheese. Very lovely place, very friendly and welcoming!
$15 to sample 4 wines... This winery left much to be desired, wasn't a fan of any of those samplers. Ill give credit to the buildings architecture.
Quite!!!!
Darlene, our host, did an excellent job of explaining the vineyards approach to wine making. A gravity based system rooted in local and estate grapes. Worth a visit.
I just wanted to say thank you for going above and beyond in replacing a damaged bottle that was shipped to my in-laws. They were so surprised and so happy to have more Malivoire in the house!
Superb winery with top notch wine and great staff.
One of the best tasting experience and quality of wine. Our hostess waa also very friendly and competent.
We had such a great time at this Winery. Amy suggested very good wines according to our tastes. When you arrive, people welcome you with a delicious sparkling wine and cheese. Very lovely place, very friendly and welcoming!
Great wine!
One of my favourite wineries. A must stop on the way to NOTL.
Quite nice place . Hospitality is amazing and a great selection of wines. Will definitely go back again .
Very nice place. Good and affordable wines. Large variety of reds (Cabernet franc, gamay, Pinot noir, Foch) and whites (chardonnay, Pinot Gris, gewurstramminer). 10$ for 3 samples at the tasting room.
Having sampled the wares of dozens of Canadian wineries Malivoire stands out in strong field. A must stop on any wine tour on the Bench in the Niagara region!! Donna & Craig Lilley
Wonderful winery: great wines and super staff!
The cheese pairing was great.
Great wine. Great service. The cheesy guys are fantastic!!! Catch them on a sat or sun. Go for their lighter wines!
I phoned the winery when I arrived in the region and ended up speaking with Christine. I explained to her what I wanted and Christine went above and beyond to fill my request. When I stopped in to pick up my order I was impressed with the very friendly customer service I received.
The representatives were knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Highly recommended, I will be bringing seminars at the winery., to showcase their wines and ambience.
It's rare to find a winery with such consistent range and quality.
Really unique winery tucked away in a cave on the Beamsville border. Johanna was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. We have discovered that Ontario can compete with bold Red, and you are not going to find it at the LCBO. Fouche all day long.
Absolutely delicious wine in a lovely country setting. I was impressed at how well the winery handled the crowd there, despite half of it being closed for the day. Excited for our next visit. Very knowledgeable staff.
Lovely, welcoming hospitable staff. We were there for the ice wine festival and had a tasty pairing of pork belly, gingerbread and an ice wine. The cheese truck was there too and offered an additional pairing with a white.
Great place to taste wine, and bring a bottle home.
Loved my experience at Malivoire wine company. Felt like family, staff was knowledgable and took time to explain composition of their wines. They took their cleaning precautions seriously. Definitely will return!
Excellent selection
Had a wonderful time doing a tasting experience with some friends. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. My favourite winery in the area. It's a must try.
My favourite of all the wineries!! We the Rosé! From Driving up the hill to being greeted by cheesy guy and a chilled glass of wine... the entire experience will leave you wanting to go back :)
Excellent wine experience!
Niagara ice wine festival
Love this winery!! Just got back from a quick trip to Malivoire to stock up on Rose Moira (best Rose in North America!) This winery offers incredible wine, truly personable and knowledgeable staff and a beautiful location. Definitely worth the visit!
LOVE MALIVOIRE!!!! EVERY time we "visit" for curbside pickup, * (*from the comfort and safety of our car) to purchase delicious Niagara (Ontario) ???????? grown wine...the folks that work there are friendly and pleasant. Every single time. We have been at least 6 times this year, and they have ALWAYS been great. Eric, Tammy, Joanna and whomever else I am likely forgetting have been super friendly. The pricing is very reasonable and they have great little promotions like the "Red Lover's Pack", which we got in addition to a case of their Farmstead Red... They have a huge selection of great local wine, and various tasty treats to accompany them. They offer FREE delivery to the GTA if you buy by the case, but we always take the 50 minute drive, because the last 20 minutes from the Beamsville exit of the QEW up through Beamsville to King St. (where you turn LEFT to get to Malivoire) are worth it. Great scenery, great little bakery (Old Post Bakery) right in Beamsville on Ontario St. You really should take the drive to Support local wineries instead of buying who knows what from the LCBO! Great Job Malivoire!
Really cool building and some of the best full bodied reds. Really enjoyed talking with the staff and learning about wine. It’s a fun place and highly recommend checking it out if you like solid reds.
Did a wine tasting today at Malivoire. Christine did a great job and we really enjoyed trying everything and hearing about the history of the winery. Would highly recommend booking a tasting here, great place and staff!
Nice tasting with very knowledge staff - we loved the meritage
Excellent wines and a friendly staff make for a great experience. Check out the cheese guys outside too.
Beyond helpful staff - you can tell they love what they do. They are passionate and it's contagious. Gary seemed to be on a mission to find us the perfect wine. He wouldn't settle for just ok. We left with a new favorite and a great memory. Unique structure - highly recommend this place.
Great time. Excellent wine. Fabulous atmosphere. I was taking part in the Niagara Tourism Network on Sept 12. Thank you to the friendly and passionate staff for your hospitality.
We just happened to come across this Winery as we took back roads on our way to Jordan, ON. We are celebrating our 43rd Anniversary today!
A wonderful place to visit. We enjoyed their boxed lunch.
This place was lively and fun. There was also a free wine and cheese pairing in the entrance. The staff were friendly and informative even though it was extremely busy. Looking forward to going back.
The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, and the wine was excellent. Definitely one of my favourite wineries, and one I plan on visiting every chance I get. Plus, their neighbours are Bench Brewing, in the event that a pint is of interest.
Very nice visit. Great tasting experience with knowledgeable staff. Nice variety of excellent wines. Especially liked the Forgotten Row Chardonnay and Small Batch Pinot…. Totally recommend!!
Great wine tasting experience and the cheese truck is awesome.
Great wine,Awsome wine .
I'm sure the wine is great but the smell of raw sewage was overwhelming. Hope they can fix it.
Love, love LOVE this place. Went back there a couple weeks ago to get more of a wine we loved, and found another that will bring us back for restocking soon! Very lovely interior, and really kind, knowledgeable, gracious people conducting the tastings each time we have visited. Even the restrooms are great! Another great experience, and we will return!
Lovely, welcoming hospitable staff. We were there for the ice wine festival and had a tasty pairing of pork belly, gingerbread and an ice wine. The cheese truck was there too and offered an additional pairing with a white.
Always something worth getting at malivoire!
Tasting here was very informative, enjoyed listening to a bit of the history behind each wine we were served
Loved our little stop at Malivoire in september! The staff was really nice and made a customised wine tasting for us. The Ladybug Rosé was my favorite one :) What made me fall in love with this place is that the winery is in a breathtaking mountain setting which is quite lovely and has a nice patio that you can enjoy the vineyard views.. I really recommend them for a visit! #malivoire #wine #niagara #winery #winetasting #YesVisitNiagara #myniagara #visitniagara #beamsville
Excited about the new Foch and other new wines we tried today!
I tried a flight of the reds. They all were some of the best red wines I’ve ever had from niagara. I especially liked the Old Vines Foch, paired well with the cheeses they served today. I totally recommend this winery.
Some of the very best wines and also magnificent customer service! Will keep ordering and going back as often as I can :)
Modern looking building. Felt pressured to buy wine even though it was the bottom of the places I visited in the area.
Friendly staff, great tasting experience. Small and less pretensious than some of the huge wineries in the area. They are new to icewine making but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The only comment is they advertised to have the smokin' budda food truck outside for the icewine festival, but on the day we went it wasn't there.
Brilliant...we will be back...thanks
Love the wine here. My favourite winery we visited in the area. We ended up picking up two bottles after the tasting as they were our favourite after being to 5 other wineries. The space itself is very nice and the service was good too.
Great wine and cheese tasting.!
Stephen, the server, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Wines were awesome. Beautiful place to stop.
This is my favorite winery!
If you visit on the weekend they have a cheese trailer there. You can nibble on some fine artisan cheese as you taste some of this fabulous wine. Worth the visit. They hand pick the grapes, manually crush, use natural yeast and French oak.
With the inability to dine out.... we have had homemade Friday Night Pizza every week for the last year (and we're getting good at it).... while we have enjoyed many different pairings, we keep coming back to our favorite..... Cabernet Franc from Malivoire.... good thing they deliver right to our front door.... thanks a bunch Malivoire
Lovely as always
Great wine and cheese. Beautiful atmosphere
Visited Malivoire for the first time August 5th. It was the first visit and most definitely not my last. What a lovely winery. Darlene was very knowledgeable and very gracious. A wonderful experience! Purchased 2 bottles of my favourite whites......gewurtraminer and viognier as well as a Foch. Look forward to my next visit
Excited about the new Foch and other new wines we tried today!
Excellent winery!
We came across Malivoire when we first moved down to the Vineland area. Since them this has become a wonderful gem with many great wines - a place you should not miss when in the bench area. We are big fans of their Gamay's and chardonnay. Especially love the Gwertz ice wine (Riesling and Vidal ice wines can get tiresome). This is the first winery I've decided to join a club for and it has been well worth it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I'm somewhat fussy about my wines, especially those that go in the my cellar. While they may taste good they have to have a good body to make them good wines for all occasion - something I find a lot of Niagara wines miss. I love the body, and nose of all the Malivoire wines I've tasted and expect to continue adding these to my cellar for future enjoyment.
Nice vibe, good service, great gamay
Stop here to pick up Stouck Farmstead Red!
Most relaxing surroundings with the most friendly staff
New patio is very nice. Had a couple of flights of wine with a charcuterie box (with lots of interesting items). Great service. Will be back soon.
Nice box lunch and red sampler love the pinot noir
Did not try wine as soon as we arrived felt pressured to wine taste would not let us relax and look at wine we were going to purchase. Should be a relaxing time. Will not go back
A small, intimate winery with knowledgeable, friendly staff. The wines are beautiful. Reds are full bodied and robust and the rosés are crisp and refreshing. If you're lucky Cheesy Guys will be on site to pair your wine with delicious cheese. Delivery is available if you can't make it to the winery. Frequent buyers can also accumulate points towards future wine purchases.
Beautiful setting! Wonderful people! Delicious wines!!! What’s not to love!!!!
Beautiful wines cool staff! One of the best winery in the region !
Malivoire makes lovely, small batch wines that are delicious and affordable. The Vivant Rosé is a big fave -- no residual sugar so very dry, yet not puckeringly so. They have been fantastically friendly and helpful during this past pretty difficult year.
Superb winery with top notch wine and great staff.
We didn’t know about the patio tasting option but the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable and gave us enough information to buy a few bottles for our growing collection. We look forward to coming back and booking a proper tasting.
Great wines with friendly staff. The Cheese Guys co-located make for a great combo.
Stopped in for an afternoon tasting on March 2nd with four friends. We were served by Sheldon who was by far the best host we had encountered all afternoon. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to choosing our wine. Sheldon exceeded our expectations that afternoon for sure!!!!!
Excellent selection of wine, friendly, helpful staff!
Incredible wine and knowledgeable friendly staff. Don't miss this if you are on the wine route!
