Here you will see all the opinions of real people who are using the products of Traynor Family Vineyard (Winery) around Belleville area (Canada).
Nowadays this business receives a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 80 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is virtually the best, and it is based on a large number of reviews, so we can think that the rating is very faithful. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

Came in on the weekend for a tasting, the wines are one of a kind and the service is impeccable.
This was the first stop on a PEC wine trip and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were super approachable and friendly, and gave my boyfriend and I a very generous tasting run-through. We liked a lot of their wine, but left with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that was super tasty. Wish the taco truck had been around, as we'd initially planned to have lunch there, but that fact was overshadowed by how positive our experience was.
Excellent wine. Excellent service. Thank you, Craig!
I'm not particularly a wine drinker, but when it comes to Traynor I'm quite a fan. Not only do they have great award winning wines, but Mike, Rebecca and their family are amazing hosts and very personable. Highly recommended.
For only $2 a tasting the staff are very engaging and have a wealth of knowledge to share
The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and learned a lot about their wine making process during the tasting. They offer a unique selection of great-tasting wines.
Favorite Vineyard in the county! Best service from Sophie; gave great advice and understood what we liked pretty quickly. The natural wines were amazing, great variety. Will definitely buy their wines again!
Some of their products are great but don’t buy the piquette keg. After opening it was almost flat. I contacted customer service about it but didn’t get any follow ups.
Awesome place to grab some unique wines and taste small batches!
Nice little winery. Great staff!
Great young family owned business!! Very friendly and very unique wines and chocolates!
Some tasty and interesting wines. Innovative offerings for the area. Richard (the assistant wine maker) is affable and truly an expert in wine and the region. Sophie was also lovely and knew her stuff! Great tasting experience.
Nice place, different than traditional winery's. They have a lot of pride in what they're doing, and they do it well. Products are a bit expensive, but worth the try!
Mediocre samplings offered in the same hard water stained glass… when don’t finish, the host dumps the rest in a nearby planter before pouring your next wine in the same glass. Although the host was charismatic and well spoken, the very first wine was presented to us with him saying “not made for human consumption..” .. and wines should not smell like sulfur! Lots of room for improvement across the board at this place!!!
Great wines. Good atmosphere. Friendly knowledgeable people.
My husband and I stopped in and enjoyed a tasting and a great conversation about their wines and vineyard. The vermouth is fantastic and very much enjoyed the skin fermented chardonnay. Will return and highly suggest this in your wine tastings.
This winery is incredible. I love the wine so much. The property is gorgeous and the staff (The Traynor Family) is both friendly knowledgeable! It is a very welcoming, comfortable space. I would also like to take this review to recommend their Madonna Vermouth, and their Trifecta Pet-Mat! Cheers!
Small family winery. Really hot no air movement. Friendly staff. Cute little stopover.
The lady helping us was super nice, wines are great
One of my favorite wineries, the taco truck makes it top the list! Only 4 star because the outhouse they have for customers is absolutely horrendous every time we've been.
Just visited recently for the first time and will definitely be back! The family who runs the winery was super friendly and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated all the different varieties of flavour. This winery is also doing some different and unique things, like their white and red Pat-Nat's (think cloudy bubbles) and vermouth, where the owner picks his own botanicals to flavour it! Delicious. Walked away with three bottles and a smile. Our dog, Pot Roast, also loved his visit, was showered with love (which he much appreciated), although he didn't sample the wares. Thanks, Traynor!
Beautiful setting, taco truck rocks!. Hot day and wine was served warm though :(. Despite multiple hints we had to do the tasting with warm white ... Disappointing. However, purchased a glass of the 2014 sav Blanc (that was cold!) and it was delicious.
Very unique tasting. The off-dry vermouth is worth a try! Favourites were the Sauvignon Blanc and Gamay. The assistant winemaker did our tasting and he was very charismatic, engaging, and full of knowledge
Best discovery in PEC. They are small, and so versatile. Damn they even make Vermouth with 15+ aromatics. The guy behind the bar was the nicest person we ran into out of the 9 wineries we visited. Young, but knowledgeable and passionate. He made us try all kind of wines, taking us on a journey that made me rethink the way I drink wine. Natural wines are not just trendy, they just make total sense. Thanks for the great 30 minutes we spent there. I regret not buying more. Hell, I am going to buy more online right now. Gotta go ttyl
Great experience, great customer service, amazing wine! We had such an amazing and informative visit yesterday!!
Great little winery. The wines were unique and you can't beat their 2020 Sauv. Blanc. Our server Sophie was very informative, quick and friendly.
Great winery. Excellent service and wines. Funky and good stuff.
We dropped in on this winery as we drove by. Don't let the casual appearance of the setting allow you to pass it by. The wines are wonderful. I highly recommend taking in the chocolate and wine tasting. Our guide, Richard, provided us with the greatest experience as he described the various wines and the chocolate. Do not pass over the opportunity to taste the vermouth. Buy some and make a martini with cucumber as garnish. Five stars for Richard!
Amazing wine and service. Try the wine and chocolate pairing you won’t be disappointed.
Great wine and great owner!
Nice setup but the vines was not in my taste
Wow! We were a group of 5 and Traynor was in our top 3 of 14 wineries we visited over the course of our trip. They're a small family operated business which is what I'm more drawn too. Nothing of what we tried beats their Pet-Nat and the Vermouth! What a concept. We had their Pet Nat white with breakfast for my birthday and I wished I had bought more. We would have lived to try the tacos as people raved about those too. Will be a PEC staple for sure! Thank you Traynor!
Worth the visit, Mike does wonders with the opposite of factory wine.
Corrine was awesome and the wine was amazing! The sauv blanc was particularly delicious
Bought a great Pinot Gris but was most impressed with the Vermouth that is currently being created. What a wonderful flavour! We will be back for more.
(Translated) Nice discovery. Do the tasting of the "orange wines". Very "friendly" atmosphere and service, pleasant little place as we were looking for. (Original) Belle découverte. Faite la degustation des "orange wines". Ambiance et service tres "friendly" petite place agréable comme on les recherchait.
Cheers!
Visited a few weeks ago - the best winery experience that we had. The gentleman serving us was very helpful in explaining everything about the wines we tasted. And, the wines tasted wonderful. Will definitely go back!
It was a very nice visit! They have wonderful wine (I loved their Cabernet Franc!) but the highlight of our visit was their two vermouths. So awesome and unique! If you love original and unique, it's a most.
Interesting choice of wines, cheap tasting and the waitress was great
Always stop when I'm in PEC. Traynor always has something new and interesting to taste.
Richard was awesome and knowledgeable.
No indoor toilets. Went to use the porta potty and when I went in, they were full to the brim. I decided to hold it and suffer. Those have to be emptied mid season. Yuk. The host would refill our glasses after dumping whatever was left over into a planter and didnt share any information about the wine even after being asked. He sat on his phone looking unhappy the whole time. This is not a par experience to be expected in PEC
Ordered two awesome bottles and got them in RECORD TIME. Very impressed. lcbo could never!
We’ve been in PEC 2 years in a row and it’s our favorite winery so far. They opened just for us even though they we supposed to be closed that day. The wines are funky and delicious. The person who does the tasting is really good. Overall it’s a perfect experience.
The wine and chocolate tasting was delightful!
It was our first vineyard visit out of around 10 in three days. I strongly believe it was the best visit. The guest at the counter was a woman and unfortunately, we did not get her name. She asked us, my wife and I, which other vineyards we wish to visit, and she recommended places. Most importantly, the wine is great.
Nice selection of orange wine
Stopped by for a quick tasting - Personally loved: Pet-Nat (sparkling) - very effervescent and refreshing, reminded me of a Kombucha, very fun Mama Juice (skin contact/orange wine) - slightly fizzy, definitely smell the rusty smell from the oxidization, would pair fantastically with some fatty meats (duck, good prosciutto) Red vermouth - syrupy and aromatic, great to take little sips or with some decadent chocolate lava cake Beautiful property with excellent service from Nicholas - who was very knowledgeable about all the wines and took time to talk to each wine’s creation story & tasting notes.
Great vineyard and very nice people. Really enjoyed their natural wine, esp. their sparkly Vidal and Breakfast in the Vineyard. Tesla charger was a nice plus.
Such great customer service and excellent explanations for each wine in the tasting. Highly recommended!
My favourite rose !!! Ordered online and experienced amazing customer service
We absolutely loved our visit to this vineyard. Our host Sophie was awesome. She really gave us good recommandations and a lot of info about every wine we tasted. The wine is also very good. Something for every taste, weather you prefer a funky one or more classic. 100% would recommend.
Quaint quonset of a family run vineyard. The vermouth was delightful!
This place is amazing! They make their own vermouth as well which was unbelievable. Also the pat-nat which was around before champagne and naturally forments into a sparkling is phenomenal. This winery has it all. YOU HAVE 2 GO????
Visited several wineries on our trip to the County. Traynor was definitely our favourite for natural wines! We left with bottles of the orange, vermouth and pet nat. Their staff were also extremely knowledgeable and friendly!
What a great Vineyard! We've been there for a tasting and had such a great time! The wine were goog, prices were cheap and People were passionate and kind. The white vermouth is delightful!
Great friendly staff, and great wines! I particularly enjoyed their more experimental or non-traditional styles. We will be back!
Friendly, BUT the wine was terrible! So cold inside.
Excellent service and ambience, but the wine was not my taste.
Natural winemaker, with some nice experimentation. One to watch.
Arrived here only to be impressed by this hidden gem. The ambiance and architectural features were truly amazing and to be greeted by the most amazing person Ian who made this whole experience that much more special. Loved all the wines and I especially enjoyed the red vermouth.
Live flamingo guitar greeted us....lots of variety to taste..warm welcoming spot
The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and learned a lot about their wine making process during the tasting. They offer a unique selection of great-tasting wines.
(Translated) We were 3 cyclists and we were treated to a warm welcome. After ordering a bottle to taste we honestly got badly washed glasses and had to help ourselves as the bottle was put on the table. The service was colder than the wine. The terrace was inviting and the wine pleasant to taste despite everything.
We came to Traynor as a group of 6 on Saturday and out of the 9 wineries we visited that day this one was by far the best! I forget our guide’s name (I know she’s the sister of the owner) but she was outstanding. She was so friendly and passionate about the products and she took the time to discuss each of the 7 wines we sampled in detail, answering all of our questions and never once rushing us. Everyone ended up purchasing bottles - we bought more there than at any of the other 8 stops combined! I’m used to Toronto service (you know, cold and unfriendly lol) and I can say Traynor definitely puts Big City businesses to shame. Great work and thanks for having us!
Excellent experience! Will go back again for sure. Thank you Ian for all the explanations!
Lovely family winery. Beautiful setting, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Bought a bottle of fizz to bring home. Will def return! Thanks :)
Loved this winery!!! Stopped in on our bikes, did a tasting and ate some yummy tacos. The live music on their patio was great and the service was even better! Can’t wait to go back.
Lovely tasting area... assortment of specialty wines. Outhouse washroom facilities.
