The design of this little space is worth the visit in itself. Every year the repertoire of this little winery grows and with so much more to offer this year - it's worth the visit. It's also worth it to inquire about renting the sweet little on site cottage!

Excellent Prince Edward County winery. Amazing Pinot Noir, quite the taste and terroir difference from Niagara. Their orange wines are truly innovative and unique. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and a really beautiful location. Highly recommended during a visit to PEC

We visited this winery yesterday and sampled a few of their wines. They were wonderful. We just finished a bottle of the Baco Noir (our 2nd favourite).. And are saving the Cabernet Franc (which hard to believe) was even more amazing. I was truly impressed!

Wine is unique and delicious - this has always been one of my must-visit wineries in the county until the experience I received yesterday. My standards for customer-service is pretty low but I felt absolutely humiliated here. The staff was rude and was bothered by any visitors. I guess it was wrong for me to ask for help in selecting a wine because the response I kept receiving was "Yeah, we're not that kind of place". I'm not sure what kind of place this is then....considering I like both sweet/dry and white/red wines. After the 3rd "we're not that place", we left. So if you're visiting Trail Estate, dont expect an experience. If you can decipher whine notes from their names, then this is a great place to purchase and get out.

Enjoyed it! Great orange wine, learned all about it, had never tasted that before. Nice quiet place

We had good service and the wines are nice. Definitely pricier for the county. Irritate that we were “offered” a sample and then charged 3 dollars after the fact.

Francis Dumais

I do recommend this winery. Natural wines they have. Orange wine is so great. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. A very relaxed environment ⭐⭐⭐

A lovely place to try some tasty wines. My husband and I shared four tasters. He likes off-dry wines so our favorites were the Riesling Wild Ferment and the Vintner's Weiss. I also quite liked the Baco Noir. We sat outside at a picnic table under a sun screen looking out at the vines. Very nice :)

Nice setting, Wines are not very good and over priced. I tried the 2015 Chardonnay $35 and it was high alcohol, not very complex. I think they are still new to the region and hopefully the wines will improve.

Good wine and great service. Patio to enjoy your glass of wine. Right in the trail route if you want to bike around.

Rebeca Polo

Small and lovely winery, beautiful space outside to enjoy the wine on a warm summer day. While there is no option to taste multiple wines, one must buy a single 5 ounce glass for around 10 $, the quality is worth it. The unfiltered Riesling and the impressive pet nat are definitely worth the try. A bit pricey but again, necessary for the quality and the small natural production. The a-farm buildings boast clean contemporary lines and are pleasant to the eyes.

Great winery - small batches production. A jewel of the Ontario winery scene. A must stop for the wine and for the friendly atmosphere and great people.

Nice staff. Excellent wine

Delicious wines and friendly staff - I also appreciated that there were toys for my kiddo and natural soda for our DD!

Javier Pacheco

One of my favourite wineries in the region so far! A warm but modern site, really cute, you can sit in their Muskoka chairs and picnic tables and enjoy their wines surrounded by gorgeous views. I did a tasting of 5 wines in here. They were all fantastic, I was surprised by their skin fermented wine and by their fantastic, unfiltered Pet Nat. Also their staff is super friendly and welcoming.

John Sproull

Nice place. Great french toast

My wife and loved this stop. We had a great time chatting with and learning from Alex. The wine is delicious, the environment was so relaxing and comfortable. We highly recommend this winery for a stop when you are in the area (call in advance given COVID until things open back up fully).

Tommy

Excellent wines and a beautiful outdoor seating area.

We had a great experience here today. A friend brought some of their wines to our house for dinner one night, and we fell in love. Today we did a tasting, and were thoroughly impressed. Great staff. Great wine.

(Translated) Plus a 3.5 star. Beautiful place but without unique character. Interesting visit but one that will not remain engraved in our memories. (Original) Plus un 3.5 etoiles. Belle place mais sans cachet unique. Visite interessante mais qui ne restera pas graver dans nos mémoires.

Very cool setting with a barn from the 1800’s! Wines were great, especially the Baco noir.

Chris Pallen

There was no one else in the winery and the host came off as quite condescending and we did not want to finish our tasting. The wines were underwhelming.

Troy Puddington

Always a great time here! Friendly staff, delicious wine and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the country air. Certain days there is a bon fire going.

Erica Govan

A bit pricier than many of the other wineries in the area but the wine is amazing. We ended grabbing a couple bottles that were out of our budget because they were too good to pass up.

Reza Asadikia

Unique and funky wines. Great atmosphere.

Cassondra Mc.

Outstanding tasting led by Jay. Best of PEC.

Justine Ratelle

Great wines, people and vibe!

lovely outdoor space and great wines

Peter Verlinden

Visited for wine tasting. Entertaining and informative. Oh yeah, the wine was pretty good, too.

Stefanie Lu

A small and simple winery that works hard to reflect the terroir. Participated in an enjoyable tasting where we learned a bit more about the area and also the emerging phenomenon of orange wine from a very knowledgeable host.

Mona Ganesh

Had a very nice experience here. The tasting/seating area has a really nice set-up, with lots of outdoor space. The staff were very friendly and didn't mind my boyfriend and I taking multiple (tasting) glasses with us to sit outside. We bought a delicious Pinot Noir. Definitely recommend!

Mike Z

New operation, so they don't really have any of their own vines. Wines seemed thin and uncomplicated. The young man working the tasting counter seemed more apologetic than positive about his offerings. Prices were too high for the quality and the fact that most of the grapes are purchased from vineyards in the Niagara region. Give them time and maybe the quality will come up.

Mudassar Muto (Muto)

Overpriced, two stars for supporting local

April H

Most definitely our favourite winery in the region! The red has such body! The white is earthy! Absolutely, well done!

Jaci Zanatta

Nice place

Mireille Lapensée

Awesome experience and wine! If you’re looking for a real wine tasting this is the place to go. Jay was super knowledgeable and told us all about their new geothermal technology and how vineyards work. We were given 6 wine choices for our tasting, 2 reds, 2 whites, and 2 oranges, which was new to me but so delicious. Definitely recommend!

Sebastien Nolet

(Translated) Excellent wines, sad however not to be able to do tasting. Glass order only. A little cold and pretentious welcome. High prices: $ 17 a glass for the sparkling orange. (Original) Excellents vins, désolant cependant de ne pas pouvoir faire de dégustation. Commande au verre uniquement. Accueil un peu froid et prétentieux. Prix élevés : 17$ le verre pour le orange pétillant.

Peter McSherry

(Translated) Great pot. (Original) Great pot.
