I had really high expectations for this pizza place. They advertised authentic Italian pizza. After going to Italy years ago, I must say I was really disappointed. Really expensive pizza (25 to 30$ for a medium size pizza) and not great. Dry though, not tender like the ones in Italy. Few choices of toppings. We chose a rosé, which wasn't my personal preference but was enjoyed by family members even though it was overpriced. It's a nice ambiance, good music and effort to make it feel Italian. Alright view for a restaurant from the area. Overall, I wouldn't recommend unless you really want to experience an expensive part of the county. I would recommend to get an xlarge meat lover from Tommaso for the same price.

Really wowed!! We rode our bikes over and will do so again! The outdoor space is beautiful and the pizza was truly authentic. The winemaker came out and explained his wine making process and even cleared plates away. Impressive!!!

I arrived at the winery a few minutes late and ran into Tony closing the place for the day. Him seeing my disappointment of just missing out before driving back to Montreal, then told me to wait a few minutes outside. Soon after, a large oven fired pizza appeared in front of me, on the house. Now that’s a class act for u. (The pizza was buonissimo btw:) Will be back next year to wine & dine the day away… no rush ;o Thank you Tony

TerraCello Winery has the best pizza in CANADA. No questions about it. I’ve only eaten about 100 of TerraCellos pizzas and no matter the kind you choose you will be in pizza heaven. I’ve been coming here for years on a regular basis. I know Tony very well and the service is always great. Its nice to always see the same friendly faces every time I’m there. Emily and Anna are exceptional people inside and out and I have no doubt they will make your visit special. I’ve made many memories with friends and family coming to this winery. I’m not big on wine personally, so I can’t speak on that but the pizza is exceptional. You gotta give it a try!!

Tony and staff are amazing! They make you feel at home. The music is old school and compliments the surroundings, company and food! Terracello has the absolute hands down best pizza in PEC! Tony makes his own home made sauce and all ingredients come from Italy! You must visit to experience the wine and pizza! This is our 2nd year back and many more to follow! Last year we wanted a bottle of their signature red wine, Boca Nero which was all sold out. This year they had some so I purchased 2 bottles

Today my friends and I celebrated my bachelorette by wine touring in the County, with our last stop of the day being at TerraCello for dinner. I had already heard amazing things about the pizza by friends who have previously been, and my expectations were 100% met. This pizza is honestly one of the best, if not- the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Living in Toronto, I've been to many pizzeria's, and tried many wood-fired pizzas. Nothing beats fresh and handmade. These guys know what they're doing!!! I want to thank Tony, and his staff for a truly memorable afternoon, the pizza, wine, cannoli's, and atmosphere was just what we needed to end our day. We appreciate the kindness so very much, and on my next visit to the area I will definitely return to enjoy more of this pizza!!

Our experience at TerraCello wasn’t the greatest, unfortunately. The owner came over and greeted us by abruptly saying ‘You here for pizza? Because my wine is sold out. Next time come in April.’ As we are celebrating our anniversary in PEC this weekend, and this was our first stop, the attitude was a bit disheartening. Patio was lovely and pizza pretty good but not great.

Went for a friends birthday and we were immediately greeted by the owner Anthony. He was welcoming and friendly. We never ate, just sampled the wine, which was delicious. Anthony shared stories of the winery history and the authentic Italian decor was mesmerizing. We visited many wineries on that day and we all agreed the general environment was our favourite. Emily was our wine guide and was very sweet and shared stories about her experiences at the winery and how generous the family was that she worked for. Will definitely be back to try the pizza!!!! Absolutely gorgeous for groups and couples.

We discovered Terracello almost 5 years ago. At the time, we had just came back from touring New York's best pizzerias. From Lombardi's, to Joe's or John's we had them all. Out of curiosity I googled best Pizza in the County. For the first time I saw the name Terracello. We had to try it. First of all, the atmosphere is amazing. Italian music in the background, patio looking at vines and a beautiful pergola. Now, Tony's Pizza is by far the best Pizza I've ever had. The dough is a perfect mix of chewy and crispy with a touch of char. You can definitely taste the difference when the oven is imported from Italy. The sauce is superb and the toppings are clearly fresh. Oh and they also sell great wines if you can get there early in the season enough. Ps.: Terracello never advertises but don't let that fool you, they sell out early.

TerraCello is my family’s favourite winery in Prince Edward County. This place has the absolute best pizza... ever. The staff here are humble, hard working and an absolute joy to be around. Seriously, it’s not everyday the owner of the property pours you a glass of wine. It truly feels like you’re in Tuscany walking into your Nonna’s home. We went to TerraCello for my aunts birthday and had called ahead to reserve a table for the occasion. When we arrived the lovely Annamaria had set up a private table near the grape vines and bocce court covered in balloons and a birthday sign greeting us to our table. She went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. We are so thankful for this experience as it was definitely one to remember! If you’re looking for an authentic Italian wine experience, you won’t go wrong spending the day at TerraCello. ????????☀️

A simply lovely setting and the best pizza this side of Naples. Not cheap but worth the price ($20 to $25 for a one-person wood-fired pizza). The wine choices are limited, sadly, and expensive too, although those available are fine. Factor in a great pizza and a nice surrounding and Terra Cello is a place worth returning to.

We really liked some things about TerraCello. They were very welcoming when you arrive. We ordered a bottle of their Riesling 24.00 but then they add a “service fee” of 15.00 for being able to drink the bottle at one of their tables. Which is fine I guess. So basically it 40.00 for a bottle, but they served it with little plastic Dixie cups, the experience could have been improved by using real wine glasses. ;) the wine would taste better out of a real glass too, the bottle we had tasted like homemade wine that was bottled before it was ready. Most people seemed to be getting their Blush wine, so maybe its better than their Riesling. What we did love was the pizza-WOW! Fantastic pizza!! And fantastic service. We didn’t get our servers name, but she was lovely and said her daughter was actually making the pizza. So good job to the service and pizza maker (Vanessa?) :)

TerraCello is my favourite winery to go to. What can I say, great staff, great food and wine, great overall experience. Definitely the best wood fired pizza in the county, Once you try this pizza, nothing else compares. Tony is great at what he does, he grew up making wine with his father. I’ve gotten to know him very well over the last few years. Very down to earth and he has a huge passion for what he does. Me and my family try to come usually every other weekend to have a delicious lunch to treat ourselves. All ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are outstanding, as well as the wines. You HAVE to try them. His signature wine BocaNera is the tastiest red I’ve ever tried. Also won 3rd place in Canada!! I think that speaks for itself! Yes the winery is extremely busy and you will have to wait for your food but it’s well worth it. Trust me!

I used to be waitress and didn't understand why someone would eat at the same place weekly. Terra Cello makes me want to go by daily. The pizza is worth the travel and the ambiance is family like. Visited TerraCello yesterday for the first time. The service was great, Elia was my server and she was fantastic and hilarious!! Great personality. Bianca is the pizza we ordered , the sausage is juicy and really was great on the pizza. Fresh. Fast. I heard it was the owner making the Za yesterday. Enjoyed the pizza with a Moretti beer. Perfect match made in heaven. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to come here and enjoy the afternoon on the beautiful terrace.

Keep coming back.. for the outstanding Wine, Pizza and Atmosphere Wine, pizza, the entire atmosphere and the team are outstanding. Tony, the owner, created an Italian "get-away" in the County. Since August 2014 I have tried and enjoyed all their fantastic pizza, love their 100% estate-grown simple yet delicious wine. Tony also organizes events with live music, like the Opera night this past June or last year or several different kind of other musicians. You can also rent his place for weddings, birthdays or corporate functions (I did not get paid saying this :-)).

We had a wonderful time a TerraCello Winery. The staff are amazing, Beautiful scenery, ordered wine and walked around to take pictures. The authentic wine making press outside brought back so many family memories making wine, Grazie. Sat outside and ordered our wood oven pizza's which were very delicious. mmmmm the tomato sauce made to perfection, crust is thin and soft with some smokiness from the oven, toppings are fresh and quality. What a beautiful way to experience a little bit of Italy. The owner Tony has curated an incredible vision for homestyle family dining with a view. You can see that the vineyard is the result of hard work and vision. Don't expect a commercial estate winery's rather, enjoy a casual outdoor dining experience. If you are fortunate enough to meet and chat with Tony, you'll immediately get the sense that he's totally devoted to his vision, has a passion for people and is committed to allowing patrons to feel as if they are "right at home". An avid story teller, with truly interesting insights to share, Tony, has carved out a little bit of Napoli right in the county. I'd recommend arriving right at opening time, because it gets busy, and you'll be lining up to place your order and be seated. If you're with a group, I'd recommend that someone snap a quick photo of the menu so that you know what to order before you get to the payment window. I appreciate the dedication to safety of patrons and staff with respect to social distancing, and minimal contact payment. The food. Honestly, the pizza dough is just incredible. The toppings are well curated, such that all the flavours come through (having tried Bianca, Cynthia and Corleonese). Well done, Tony. Thank you for sharing a bit of your roots with all your patrons. Cheers to many more years of success, and we'll definately be seeing you again soon...maybe for that dessert pizza you spoke about (grapes and marscarpone ????)

If you like pizza and you are in Prince Edward County you have to come see Tony at Terra Cello and try his pizza. Everything at Terra Cello is authentic from the service to the rustic Italian atmosphere. It’s so refreshing to enjoy a winery where what you see is what you get and the owner is making the pizza himself and having genuine conversations with the customers. The ingredients are all premium and imported from Italy.

BEST PIZZA EVER. I have been telling everyone about this local gem... I don't typically write reviews but the pizza here is so incredible that I feel obligated to write this. Ingredients are all sourced from Italy and Tony has perfected it from his experience in Italy. Literally feels like I am in Italy when eating his pizzas. It's a bit expensive but 100% return every bite. Tony recommended the beer with pizza and I agree this was a better choice than wine. But to be honest, the pizza is the real winner.

Discovered this winery on at Saturday afternoon after reading about it on Google. The reviews mostly raved about the friendly owner, service and pizza. We arrived at 12 pm and there was roughly a line of five people ahead of us and heaps of people leaving the store with pizza boxes. The parking lot was busy. While in line, we met the owner Anthony. Based on our conversation, one could tell that he is passionate about what he does and enjoys it. He spoke of his training in Italy and that he is one of the few Pizzaiolo in Canada. After hearing this, we ordered a bottle of white wine (Vidal) and a calabrese pizza. Their patio was full and the owner set up a table with his chairs from Tuscany by the entrance/exit to the kitchen. He said that when the restaurant is sometimes full, he used to bring out his own furniture. The pizza was phenomenal. Anthony said that he wakes up at 5 am to start on the dough, but was unable to share his secrets on how great the dough was. It had more of a phyllo texture and the meat was delicious. Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience learning about the history.

I visited TerraCello this weekend and I was very pleased with my experience. When me and my wife walked in were nicely greeted at the bar then he owner came out after making pizza to take a break and chatted with us He did a wine tasting with us and the wines were excellent. We left with a case that filled a few of each wines. We went out to the patio and tried the pizza, you gotta try it. Every pizza is so different and they all sound so delicious it’s hard to make a decision. The place is beautiful and you can see all the hard work that’s gone into it. Tony does the pizza, the wines and the vineyard himself. I will definitely be returning!

This is one of the best wineries I have been to in PEC. The pizza was amazing !!! The cook Vanessa does an amazing Job. Our servers Anna and Elia were so nice and friendly. We stopped in at the place on our day long wine tour of the area. Walking into the winery feels like you're in a family owned winery right in the heart of Italy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately they didn't have wine for tasting at the time but we sat and had an espresso and ordered take out pizza which was delicious.

The best pizza I have ever had in my life! Every ingredient tastes so fresh, and they are all imported from Italy (including the pizza oven!). I would move to the area just to come here on a weekly basis. The wine was really smooth too. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and very rustic. We met Tony on our way out and he was so friendly. It is clear how passionate he is about his craft. I highly recommend this place to pizza and wine lovers!

We were impressed with the quality of the pizza and wine. The setting outside to drink and eat was beautiful and the kids were given free ice cream after eating our pizza. The two reasons why i didn’t give it 5 starts was we were very disappointed to get our wine in plastic cups. I have never been to a vineyard are served wine in plastic cups. During COVID, I have visited about 20 vineyards in the past year, and I have always been served wine in glass. Second, our pizzas (over $20 each) were served in pizza boxes with no plates, just paper napkins. We spent a lot of money at the vineyard and even though the service was great, the presentation of their products not so great.

Terracello is Spectacular!!! After trying pizza in Naples Italy a couple years ago, I have been trying to find pizza back home that is comparable. Terracello is hands down the best of the best. From the dough, to the sauce, to the toppings ... you can't go wrong!! It is out of this world. Definitely worth the trip to PEC - you won't regret it!!!

We’re lucky enough to live just around the corner from TerraCello and love their pizza. In fact we were there for this summer’s soft opening of their patio recently and the pizza was as delicious as ever (the gnocchi too). In the County we’re lucky to have many places making good pizza and Tony’s at TerraCello is one of the best!

I visited TerraCello this weekend and I was very pleased with my experience. When me and my wife walked in were nicely greeted at the bar then he owner came out after making pizza to take a break and chatted with us He did a wine tasting with us and the wines were excellent. We left with a case that filled a few of each wines. We went out to the patio and tried the pizza, you gotta try it. Every pizza is so different and they all sound so delicious it’s hard to make a decision. The place is beautiful and you can see all the hard work that’s gone into it. Tony does the pizza, the wines and the vineyard himself. I will definitely be returning!

Went there on a Sunday. We got there for 1:00pm and were lucky to be some of the last few people to get pizza. They sell out of pizza dough and toppings very quick. The pizza was delicious. Reminded me of stone oven baked pizza from Europe. I ordered an in-house wine. The 2019 Riesling came in an ice-chilled bucket and was absolutely delicious. We got to meet Anthony, who showed us his pizza oven and part of his winery. Beautiful place with wonderful staff. Highly recommend if you're in Prince Edward County!

On Sep 1st this year I went with friends to TerraCello winery. The owner, Tony Auciello, had organised an Italian Opera Night. Emilio Paul Fina and local sopranist Roanna Kitchen performed opera songs, but also their interpretation of songs from Tom Jones, Elvis Presley and of course Andrea Bocelli. -Set in a surrounding of “Tuscany” we also enjoyed his "to-die-for" pizza, wine and of course hospitality. Our classic car (67 Eldorado) winery tour culminated with a fantastic wine, a beautiful setting and the best pizza I have ever had! Our Cadillac was the catalyst that started a great conversation with Tony as he has a beautiful caddy as well. The way he speaks of his ingredients and process is inspiring to say the least. If you ever find yourself in Prince Edward County make sure that you get to TerraCello and know that once you have a glass of wine and a pizza...another round of each will surely follow. Cheers????

TerraCello is a very pretty property. Really amazing outdoor patio! Ventured in to do a couple of the wine tastings. The staff were very kind and the wines were pretty good. Probably not my favourite, but will note that the Rose was probably the best one. Worth exploring and enjoying their pizza dinner!

We found on our tour, that most vineyards we visited were nice, but lacked enthusiasm. Tony was our last vineyard on our tour and blew our mind. His pizza was amazing! The service was the best we had all day, he made us feel important and like he wanted us there. His actual tasting area was small, but there is an option for a large group to sit at the long table. The ambiance was neat, you can tell this is a labor of love for Tony!

My fiance and I took the pecvintage wine tour (highly recommend) and this place was awesome! Tony the owner, was super accommodating and provided us with excellent over the top service. The pizza was also fantastic and authentic with fresh tomatoes from the garden. Highly recommend making this a number one stop on your wine tour!

I was happy to read the story about Tony Auciello and family about the TerraCello Winery. In the story he said that when people say to him that they had the time of their lives, he is happy but has done nothing. He is too modest. Tony has an understanding of how to arrange the dining area to set people at ease. The scenery, the smell of pizza but most of all, his Endearing presence with that million dollar smile. He is the kind of person that makes everyone relax and enjoy the people they are with. In all my travels, I have not enjoyed myself more than being at his winery, eating wonderful pizza, and drinking wonderful wine. Congratulations Tony, I am proud to call you my friend.

We live in Kingston and try to make it out to TerraCello once or twice a year. Sure the pizza is out of this world, maybe the best in Eastern Ontario but it so refreshing to see the passion that the owner Tony has for both his pizza and his wine. He puts his heart and sole into his work and it shows. If you want to sit under grapevines in a vineyard, sip great wine, listen to Italian music and feast on spectacular authentic Napolitano pizza this is the place for you. Don't miss out on this stop while in PEC.

Visited the winery with my daughter and we both left happy customers. We have been to TerraCello a few times and there have been a few changes since our last visit but understandable considering some covid guidelines. Anna and Emily are fantastic hostess/servers, chatted with Tony, the owner and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our pizza, wine and cannolis were delicious. We will definitely be back again to try a different pizza and sample some more of Tony's wine.

Very disappointing experience. The face of the business looks good, and the wine is decent but the restaurant was appalling. You're required to pay and tip before being seated which is rediculous. The seating area is nice, under a trellis with grape vines, a baci ball pit, and italian music. Though it is somewhat spoiled by the fact that we are sitting on plastic school chairs at a backyard patio table (at least we weren't seated at the park bench). The general manager seemed friendly (talking about the food quality, and guaranteed "italian style neopolitain pizza" and trying to wecome guests) though something seemed off my suspicion was confirmed when i saw him with a beer in his hand. Finally we come to the "neopolitain pizza". I have experience making this exact style of pizza, and am a professional chef and can tell that the ingredients were sub par, hell they were using bar olives for their pizza. The crust of the pizza was soggy underneath and flat and crackery at the crust, the sauce was bland and tasteless and it took over 25 minutes for 2 pizzas when there were only 3 other people in line before we got there. Neopolitain style pizza traditionally cooks in between 50-160 seconds by the way. Sloppy food execution and poor management. Would not go back or reccomend

Service: We attended this winery on a Saturday afternoon and expected it to be busy, however we waited approx. 45 mins - 1 hr to even request for table. We were told that the chef wanted to serve the present customers (approx 10-12 people) before cooking any more pizzas and seating anyone else. Which is understandable on a busy day. After an hour we were finally seated but found it strange that we had to pay for our order prior to eating it. This is the only reason I stayed. After placing our order we waited an additional hour for our pizza. As i waited, I noticed that 1-2 pizza were being served every 15-20 minutes which i found quite odd. Perhaps 1 pizza was being made at a time, however, if the same pizza oven that is shown throughout the review images - that oven can fit 6-8 pizza at a time... (This is coming from experience, as I too worked in a Pizzeria when I lived in Italy). An hour was just unacceptable. Ambience: Patio is nice as your surrounded by the vineyards of the property and most of the seating area is shaded which is refreshing on a hot summer day. Wine: Was below satisfactory. Tasted like vinegar. Pizza: Prior to visiting the winery, I did my research, which I'm sure most visitors do prior to visiting PEC and noticed that Terracello is known for their "Neapolitan" style pizza. The owner himself also claimed that it was as well when greeting the visitors. Unfortunately, it was not. The dough was not pillowy with a chewy crust. the dough was quite dry and crunchy. Value: $25 for a medium sized, margherita (tomato sauce, fiore di latte, mozzarella, basil, and olive oil) seemed bit over-priced where as another winery we visited was charging $17 and was much better. Would not re visit.

TerraCello Winery was great! Beautiful vineyard with an absolute amazing owner/host Tony! We felt that we were transported straight to Italy with its authentic feel and taste. The Boca Nera wine was excellent and the calabrese pizza was delicious. All pizzas are cooked in a wood oven imported from Naples Italy. Overall i had a great experience here and will be returning in the future. Thank you.

This winery is amazing. Very unique compared to the other wineries in the area. Very nice outdoor seating area. The vidal wine with banana notes is absolutely fantastic! I can't say enough amazing things about the pizza there as it is authentic napoleon Italian wood fire pizza. The owner Tony is very friendly and is always around to make sure you are having an enjoyable experience. If you haven't tried this winery yet you must!!

Friendly staff, great wine and pizza. I've been to TC many times, and I always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face. Tonys wine is very unique, just as the authentic Italian pizza, you haven't had a REAL pizza until you try this. When you're there check out the pizza oven that was imported straight from Italy, and have a chat with Tony if you get a chance, he will tell you all about the place an how he makes his wine. Tony and his staff are always so welcoming to every person who steps foot in the Winery. They have a great team.

First time at this winery! Was referred by our B.B Was met by a very nice lady at the door. Who informed us of the protocol of their winery and covid regulations which we appreciated. So thankyou! We were welcomed by Anna the mgr. very kind talked to us about the history of the winery and Tonys passion of his wines. We didnt meet Tony today. But we felt like we have known him . Pizza came to the table and it was amazing we didnt order enough so we ordered more . So order a few because you want to taste them all. Anna had said her daughter makes the pizza so very impressive to hear a 20yr old can make an amazing Za. Wine was delish we ordered the boca nera . We sat under the wedding pergola suggested by Anna our server. Hubby and I had a wonderful time.. it was our anniversary! It was romantic ! Thankyou Terracello!! A must place to go.

My friend and I were greeted personally by Tony the owner, who loves his Italian heritage and shows it in his enthusiasm for the winery. The staff is remarkable, even the pizza chef Vanessa personally came out to ask about our pizza experience... which was AMAZING. I have had the blessing to travel many times to Italy and I can tell you that Terracello hands down has the BEST authentic wood oven Italian pizza anywhere outside of Naples! I suggest if you go to the county.... get the Pizza at Terracello. Ask Tony about his caddy!
