It's funny how all the locations in Brantford stock so differently. This one definitely skews more to the cooler and beer crowd. Abbreviated vintages section, decent wine lineup outside, and the usual suspects for spirits. Would love to see some more bourbons, fortified section is limited. Would be really nice to see some more alternatives for vermouth than Martini and Dillon's. What happened to the rest? Would love to be able to get Carpano Antica locally.

Never have had a bad interaction here, the staff are all good people. The bare shelves though, it's been months on end for many products. LCBO as an oversight Board of Control needs to consider procurement replacements. Also the website doesn't accept Visa debit so it's impossible to order online to deliver what I want but never see in store here to the store for pickup. I wrote an email to customer care via website about this issue but -shocking- they never replied back.

This LCBO was a great addition to the east end of Belleville. The stores layout is perfect and they have a walk in fridge for their beers. There is a variety of craft beer to choose from. If you are looking for more variety I recommend going to the LCBO located close to the Quinte mall. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is very clean as well. Using the LCBO website you can find out if they have what you are looking for.

I wanted to share my great experience I had with CSR Deidre and CSR Ian at the Dundas location. First of all the service was impeccable. Ian facilitated my every inquiry. I came in looking for some Mead for my friend because it is a traditional drink of his family. Ian had said that Mead wasn't available right now but to look for it in the next few months. He also recommended trying the LCBO website. Then I asked for some Brugal Rum which is made in the Dominican Republic. He searched and found a bottle of the dark rum. As I was l wandering around the store, Deidre helped me find other possibilities. She was very kind and was sweet in her disposition. I have never felt so at ease and cared for within any other LCBO I have been to. Both Deidre and Ian are fine examples of the best in people. I highly recommend shopping that this store with the two of them working.

It’s my closest location and always my place to shop liquor. People who visit here knows that LCBO has new rule of sanitizing hands before entering the store; which is nice at this time of Covid 19. But the thing that bother me is no one wants to touch something that thousand of people touch everyday. Thousand of people shop everyday here and they have manual hand sanitizer dispenser which needs to be pressed to dispense sanitizer. I’m very uncomfortable touching it since i have more chance of getting virus from the sanitizer dispenser than touching a bottle or Can which is been touch by infected people. I told the security guard about it and he said that I shouldn’t buy from them if I’m not okay with what they have. They can easily afford to get an automatic dispenser for everyone’s safety and the reply I got was disappointing and childish! I hope they’ll replace it soom for everyone’s safety!!

Honestly I dont drink but I accompanied my dad to help him pick out a wine for a barbecue and was needing help finding a brand and I had to go get someone to help they didnt even come to show me they just pointed (no help) then after asking we were then followed around by a guard watching our every move and then an employee joined in. Literally felt like I was a thief even though I am not and we just ended up grabbing whatever and went and paid because my almost 70 year old father felt unwelcome as well .. I understand some people do steal but not everyone .

Boyfriend went into purchase alcohol 30 minutes before closingg. Turns out he couldn't purchase any because the cashier said that she'd seen him earlier today attempting to purchase alcohol. I was in your store and was approached by a statuesque beautiful Scandinavian blonde named Deidre. I was looking for a high end scotch. She was quick to enquire what my flavour profile was and I was clear that I didn’t want a smokey profile. Deidre in a beautiful and articulate way described the regions of Scotland why the scotches differ. She articulately described how the scotches from the highlands with cream and biscotti notes and the least smokey, so she recommended 15 year old Dalwhinne, which is now my go to for scotch. This is not my first encounter with Deidre, she has helped me with wine pairings on many occasions and was spot on with her knowledge and expertise with wine. I was enthralled with her class, knowledge and professionalism, great conversation with flair, I wish every LCBO had a Deidre.

Great product selection (they even have Old Speckled Hen beer which is hard to find) and fantastic service. Professionally operated during the pandemic....thanks for staying open. MARCH 2021 UPDATE: Soon after I wrote my initial opinion, above, the LCBO stopped carrying Old Speckled Hen. When I asked about it, 3 times in all, I was told the product was to be restocked. Well that never happed and it’s been half a year now which is ample leeway. I’m downgrading from my initial 5 stars to 3 not so much for discontinuing the beer but for the fact they made no effort to bring it back contrary to their promises.

Other than the one blonde employee that thinks she higher than everyone else ( news flash you are not that great and you are not higher than I , so step down girl) the place is great. The place is clean and organized well. Beer fridge looks amazing, has great selection of beers. Wine selection is great, The lady named Katie is a great person to talk to about your wine. The coolers are also awesome here at this location as well. I always look forward to the new drinks they bring in. My latest favorite is the Founder's Bramble Gin.

Place for drunks to bump in to shelves and get there fix, its run by the government too so the personallity of saff is what you would expect from any other government employee we need less of these stores (this review is comming from a family member of a recovering alcoholic) P.S. I dont drink so what i think is irrelevant

It's the best LCBO in Brantford.. They have the best selection by far the staff is very helpful and I find the lines aren't nearly as long.
