Karlo was the last winery we visited yesterday. We were there as part of a rowdy group of 20. This was our first time in Prince Edward County. Every Thanksgiving we ussualy go to Niagara wineries. Karlo was the best of the 5 Edward county we went to yesterday and based on our 20 + years of teasting Ontario winee one of the top 3 wine tasting experiences in Ontario

Amazing selection of delicious wines!

The staff are attentive and the wine is nice. The location nothing to write home about. It's basically a repurposed barn complete with horseflies.

Karen Chong

The service is great ! The wine is also very good and the tasting is not expensive for what you’re getting compared to other places in the area. Only negative point is the food... 20$ for a small ziplock of chips with an apple and salsa/guacamole isn’t worth it. Absolutely go there for the wine, but then eat somewhere else !

Amanda Melvin

The staff were very rude. We had five people coming for a wine tasting and we’re planning to purchase bottles. We waited to receive any direction on a table. No one connected with us. We tired to find an open table and we were met with a very rude staff member who told us their reservation list was ten pages long. Don’t waste your time.

Karlo Estates probably has the coolest atmosphere of the PEC wineries I have been to. My Mom and I were served by Mary-Dawn, who makes an excellent conversational companion! :-) I have to admit that the wines weren't really up my alley (having said that, I am a sweet-wine person and these wines are predominately dry). I did end up buying a fortified white wine called Van Alstine White, which was good. But really it was Mary-Dawn who made this stop memorable for me. We were lucky to have a nice sitdown and chat with her. They also give little snacks at their bar with your samples, which was fun.

We had a very enjoyable wine tasting with a knowledgeable and capable hostess named Samantha. She was fun. The wine at Karlo is really good and to find the counties first Malbec was a pleasant surprise and it’s really good. Thank you

A surprising find. My first visit was entirely by chance. Some excellent reds with real body.

Awesome experience! A small winery with passion and knowledge without pretentiousness.

Mark Zettel

We really loved our experience there!

Anyta Kyriakou

One of our favourite spots in the county! Karlo is a smaller winery and less busy than the typical high volume 'tourist trap' spots. Amazing tastings, great service, and award winning wine making. (Their 'estate' chardonnay and pinot noir is wonderful.) The property is beautiful in the summer - with their iconic stone bridge, but the barn also has a somewhat hidden heated moody bar below deck! I just found out about it and loved the vibe! Thank you KE.

Anne-Marie Brouillet

Great place super Wine and Entertainment.

Friendly staff, lovely setting and cute cats. Great selection of red wines. I’ve never seen an Ontario winery producing Malbecs, but here we go. And it was truly delicious.

Upon entering this cute winery, you can sense that it's different. The ambiance has a certain farm charm to it which plays into the experience. The tasting is done in a secluded room with a wooden bar, low ceilings and has an undeniable intimacy. And that's before the wines. The wines are sincerely the best tasting in Prince Edward County. Our host, Spencer, was very welcoming and made the entire experience exquisite. The whites and reds range from full bodied to medium bodied with distinct tastes. The 2015 Malbec has a fruity, dark and seductive taste, or as Spencer described it, the "baby maker". Very dangerous, indeed. Will let you know in 9 months. But the true rockstars, and recipients of bonus points, are the differentiators; the innovative fortified wines, which taste like sweet nectar from the nipple of Aphrodite. Paired best with what they serve, I would also recommend adding a dish from the guest chef Chris, who delivers a simple, elegant and creative menu of 3 items. Overall, probably the best experience at a winery on this side of the Atlantic. Give that man, Spencer, a raise!

Went there on labour day for a wine tasting and everyone of our group was disappointed with the setting, the wines, the customer service and general knowledge of the wines offered. To start with, we showed up and the hand sanitizer was empty. Waited a while to be seated, was hoping to have the tasting in the barn like they used to but instead we were directed to go sit in under a canopy outside literally in a patch of dirt and weeds. Waited a while for one of the servers to come over and had a few tastings each but all of them in the same glass! Really? We've been to other wineries in the area and a different glass is a must when trying very different wines. Also at other wineries we was offered something to nibble while pairing wines, and included in the price of the tasting. I am struggling to find anything positive to say about any of the wines we tasted. One of our group members didn't even finish his two tastings of the two white wines he selected. Unfortunately the wines offered at this winery are very subpar and very overpriced. Add to this that there was a mistake on the bill and we were overcharged. Try a different winery instead.

Raymond Esteves

We had a great time here and tried lots of delicious wines! Sarah was an amazing host. We can’t wait to go back!

Very good wines , beautiful grounds and knowledgeable servers !

Charles Jimenez

Very unwelcoming. Completely ignored our presence even though we were the only ones in the room at the time. Left without a tasting or even a simple hello. Very disappointed as it was such a beautiful winery.

Jess M

What a wonderful experience! From the start, my group and I felt so welcomed. We were able to enjoy our tastings in the heated patio, right by the fireplace. Sarah, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable. She walked us through the different wines, provided fantastic recommendations, and really upped our overall experience. From the service to the ambiance (and of course the wine), Karlo Estates is an absolute must in the county.

Have visited Karlo several times and always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. It is definitely one of the more casual and easy going wineries in the area. They have outdoor and indoor areas, both are quaint in their own ways. The 1800s post and beam barn is beautiful and the barrel room is so cozy in the winter months! Just a quick bike ride from Wellington in the summer! I find that service is very friendly and attentive but sometimes the staff aren’t very knowledgeable. In general the wine is ok and food pairings are a nice touch. My preferences are the pinot noir, pinot gris and three witches blend. They also have a great menu of vegan snack boxes and weekend live music on the side lawn. On my most recent visit I was really impressed with their covid precautions.

We had a wonderful visit to Karlo Estates. We were really impressed by Samantha's knowledge of wines in the area and her great enthusiasm in helping us pick what we would each like!

William Lundy

Definitely a must stop for anyone visiting the wineries in the area. We were warmly greeted and participated in several wine tastings. The staff was very knowledgable, and the wines and they're parings were delicious.

Edouard Grondin-Fortin

We had a lovely time at Karol Estates on Saturday afternoon. Grace was knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations! We will be back for sure.

Latika Gupta

My boyfriend (named Karlo), our puppy and I made a stop here along our tour of Prince Edward County, after visiting Sandbanks. It sure was busy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and we were only able to get a small table outdoors and order wine by the glass. No tastings were available without a reservation! We sampled a few varieties of their white wine and found it to be quite good! We especially enjoyed the Pinot Gris and Three Witches. There's a promotional item that's offered with your purchase, depending on how many bottles you purchase. We'd gladly return on our next visit.

Jillene MacDonald

Great wine tour day in Prince Edward County today...

Mark Swartz

Amazing wine, we came for a tasting and pairing for a group of 20 people and they were amazingly accomadating. It was our last stop on our tour and our favorite.

Sarah Kingsley

Karlo has long been one of my favourite, so much so I have mentioned them in blog posts. However, on my last visit I was utterly disappointed. We visited for a concert - the music was mediocre (the musician alcohol and tobacco fueled) and we chose a Mediterranean platter which we found out consisted of 8 olives, 7 dried-out slices of cucumber, 9 cherry tomatoes, a package of Melba toast, a small ziplock bag of chips and an unidentifiable spread. For this we were charged $18. In addition the waiter couldn't remember what wine he served us so when we asked for a second glass he came back four times, each time asking if we were sure we wanted the wine he had supposedly served us (Karlo Estate Pinot Noir) or that he perhaps had served us another wine the first time around? (To the point where he said he would never offer the Karlo Estate Pinot Noir as it pales in comparison with Lake on the Mountain's). Those glasses of wine also cost us an outrageous $18 per glass. Total bill for 3 glasses and said sad platter: $70. Clearly Karlo has seen better days and perhaps they enjoy their location on the Closson Rd / Danforth touring circuit where they can charge just about anything. My suggestion would be they go and have lunch at Miller House at Lake on the Mountain and get a feel of how a real charcuterie board is put together.

Vince Liardi

Amazing wine tasting experience with Samantha! She was so knowledgeable & fun!

Nathan M

We were in line to get seated, and groups in front of us got seated according to the industry standard for Covid19 measures - they provided one contact per group for contact tracing. When it came to us, the hostess instead insisted that all 6 of us provide our contact information. And we were the only group made up of visible minorities. The racial profiling couldn't even be more obvious. Clearly a double standard. They luckily get to keep the two stars cause the property is nice and the waiter was good at explaining the wine.

Ryan Willis

Love, love, love! Great wine and fantastic atmosphere. Our fav in the county!

Trevor Klein

Great night enjoying some refreshments and music. Great atmosphere, great staff on a cool night and thank you for the blankets, they came in handy againstvthat vool breeze.

Wines are just OK. Not the best in the county. The atmosphere was great in the rustic setting of an old barn, surrounded by aged wood beams and oak barrels.

Sienna Sekand

Florence Saint-Claire

Good selection. Busy with limited staff when we were there.

Chris B (toxichris2)

Meh. Not a great experience. Server didn’t know anything about their wines. Ambience was poor (old tent on a yellow, dead lawn with no music or anything). Server at front just really didn’t want to be there. Wines were fine

James Kerr

It was a decent experience. They had some good wines and at least some food pairings to go along with it. 2$ tastings or 3 for 5$.

Staff were friendly and took time to explain the wines, provide recommendations. We ordered two wines to taste and the Cheese & Charcuterie. The Cheese and Charcuterie was vegan and we didn't read it carefully nor do any research so this is partly our fault. However, the box set was $22 and the content did not justify this price. There are various dips and a packaged vegan "salami/bacon". They were good but for the price we paid, I feel like there are better options. The tasting room felt pretentious as well and felt like a fancy club. I like a tasting room with a view to the vineyard even if it's off season.

Incredible barn and great wine, we were there on a super busy day.

Ryan Reitsma

We had a lovely tasting in the refurbished barn of Karlo Estates. We were seated in a semi-basement saloon-type area that was cool and comfortable despite the intense heat that day. Our tasting guide Edou was pleasant and knowledgeable. The property was very busy and definitely requires a reservation to ensure you get a good seating area.

Visited last summer and loved the set up outside, can't wait for the weather to allow that again. Last weekend we "stumbled" upon it while walking the milenium trail and we'll definitely take that route again, very romantic. The barn set up is very quaint as well. I really like to know the story of each place, listening about the way the wines come about, will have to try and take a tour. It is hard to listen in and get all the stories while keeping the 2m distance

Andrew Fuss

Would like to give a 5for ambiance (very, very different vinery from every other in PEC, you can see lot of effort has been put to differentiate it, especially the lower level which looks like a speakeasy. Very nice servers and a great experience. They have a limited selection of food which pairs well with the wine (FYI it is a full on vegan winery so no meat in any of the selections). The wine is on and off, the Red Bug was definitely a pleasant surprise, the whites are fine but some other reds were not that great.

Linda Khv

Great experience...fantastic ports....love the venue as well

Carlo Duc-Malagisi

Best rosé I've had in a long time. I tasted the Patio Reserve earlier in the day at the Prince Edward County Food & Wine Festival and made sure to pick up a couple of bottles at the winery.

Allison Brown

Wath a amazing place! We purchase a few bottles ????

Natalia T

What a fun experience, we visited this weekend and had a lovely time. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. The vegan picnic plate was so interesting, we enjoyed it despite not being vegetarians ourselves, and it picked our curiosity to try more vegan products in the future. The wines were pretty good for the most part. One pet peeve: we don't think it's fair to expect customers to tip on purchased wine bottles. Would have been nice if the bills for what was had on the premises and what was purchased for takeaway were separated.

Rocco Pirri

Celina Davey

Personal favourite wine in the county, excellently blended wines.

Maxine Soon

High quality reds; tried the Pinot noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, the Merlot blend. Excellent. Dave Tip: the $2 per tasting fee is waived if you purchase two bottles. Purchase the cab and the Merlot.

Remi Jr. Ojo

During COVID-19 my partner and I have not done anything really out in public. When we decided to come to Karlo Estate, the experience was nothing short but exceptional. Dakota was very hands on with making sure we were comfortable, explaining the wines that were offered and keeping a close eye on us so that we left feeling safe and happy. The procedures the winery has in place is perfect for anyone looking to get out while still feeling safe. Their wines are one of the best in the region and we will always make sure to stop by anytime we are in the area even just to say hello! Thank you to Dakota and the amazing staff there for their hard work through this crazy time.

Erik Koning

Exquisite wine, wonderful entertainment, fun friendly crowd. We always feel like we’re with friends when we come here. We started with Bubble, their new sparkling - which is awesome. We moved onto the rosé and it was so good we didn’t feel we needed to move on. All night. The staff are glorious and so focused on making us happy while being run off their feet - Michelle, Patti, Dryden, Edu… all fantastic. Sherry and Saxe: you have the most wonderful winery. We’ve made most of our County friends here. It’s glorious and quickly becoming a weekly hang-out. Tony Forbes was playing and he was great. Best night. You want to go to there.

Always a treat to visit Karlo Estates. We dropped by a few weeks ago after riding our bikes along the Millennium Trail-we rode our bikes right to the winery. It was a gorgeous day; we sat outside and had their delicious wine and vegan snacks. What a fabulous visit and day and we can't wait for our next visit.

Lauren McPhillips

The wine experience is top notch and the staff couldn’t be better. We had a wonderful time tasting their wines and visiting the wine yard. Will definitely come back!

I understand it's cool to have your store in an old barn but this one was too much like a real barn for my liking. As soon as I walked in I smelled dust and cats and felt cramped. It was dark and creepy inside and I immediately noticed a large cat sitting directly on the bar. I have nothing against cats being in a place like this but as someone who suffers from somewhat serious allergies (and knows it's rather common to be allergic to cats) I can't understand the logic of letting one sit on the surface where you're going to be serving drinks to the public. We looked around for a few minutes and quickly decided to leave and as we went out the door the bartender awkwardly asked us if something was wrong in front of the other patrons. For all I know the wine is great but you're better off getting it at the LCBO in my opinion.

Mark Dabrowski

Samantha was so professional and helpful. She perfectly guided us through the flights. Her insights carefully tailored our selection. The Pinot noir is as good as it’s gets in the region. We can understand why this is an award winning vineyard with this wine.

Jessie Singh

The staff is AMAZING and the wine is WONDERFUL! Best winery in the County.

Kostiantyn Sokolinskyi

Great winery

Wayne Donison

Great atmosphere, good wines (especially that Malbec!), tasting experience was a bit limited with just three of six wines offered and ordering by the glass was pricey (restaurant prices).

Laura Cunningham

Great wine, amazing staff but not great food options.

Veronique Letarte

The 2018 pinot noir is the perfect Red.

David Lee

I came here on a biking wine tour on Sunday. This was our last stop of the day. The owner was lovely and explained the tasting process quite well, but I couldn't believe how rude the other staff were. The girl who poured our last tasting round was so obviously exasperated with us, but we hadn't done anything to earn this treatment! She actually brought all of the food pairings to the table, slammed them down, muttered to herself that we were "done drinking the wine anyway", and then collected them and left without distributing any. When someone asked for a different wine than she was already pouring, she got so annoyed and even rolled her eyes once. None of us purchased wine and I will not be returning.

Elizabeth Edwards

Visited Karlo estates for a wine tasting experience and was very disappointed with the lack of knowledge in their own wine and cognitive ability of the staff. Some rookie mistakes such as - did not provide water - Pour different wine into the same glass - forget food order - disappearing in the middle of tasting Overall terrible experience

Steve Sider

Second time here and it seems like it got better! Arrived a little too late for a tasting but the hosts were super excited to have us and showed us to the wine lounge downstairs. Our sommelier was an expert in selecting two perfect wines for us based on the loose criteria we provided. We walked away with a bottle of the petite pearl (red) that we quoi la highly recommend!

This was the first time me and my family visited this winery (Karlo Estates) and it was exceptional. The staff was wonderful, especially Patti who started our day off amazingly! Patti was so informative and really made this experience so fun. We purchased our favourite wines (and a delicious charcuterie board) we will absolutely be back again. We will definitely be sharing this experience with our friends and encouraging them to go to Karlo!

Prince Edward County is just a joy to visit! I’ve been vacationing there on a yearly basis for a while now. The wineries are lots of fun to explore and my favourite one to visit is Karlo Estates. Horrible experience, unfriendly staff.. we wanted to give it a chance and we paid to taste 3 different red wines but none of them tasted good.. we asked for explanations but we did not have answers! Very disappointing

It is snowing fluffy snow outside, but inside a hidden barn bar in at the Karlo Estates Winery it is wine tastings, fortified Van Alstine Red with dark chocolate, mellow country music with a harmonica about Mississippi days and not telling one’s sister in Louisiana about having been in jail - cozy, cozy.

Our experience was mediocre, more at the bottom. Beware as a visitor from out of town! PROs: Of all the wineries, I'd say this one is probably the most instagrammable. Cute barn-front. The server was very good when we were lead to our table to sit down. Took his time to go through the explanation of the wines, and really appreciated his energy, despite having to do all of that in a mask. Why 2 stars? CONs: Strangely, at all of the other wineries, we had no issues when we checked in and our tour guide provided our tracing contact information, which he had printed out beforehand. However, the host at the front insisted everyone had to provide their contact information. The tour guide asked once more - but this is industry standard to only have to provide one name. Regardless we complied, didn't complain. But curious if we were discriminated against, considering we were the only full group that didn't look like the rest. Curious, very curious. I won't be coming back here, again.

Sean Kibbee

My group of friends and I visited this afternoon and did not have an enjoyable experience. We made a reservation long in advance and were left standing at the door despite multiple staff members walking past. When we finally flagged someone down we were eventually seated in the lounge. Our server was extremely unenthusiastic, rude and gave the impression she did not have want to be there. Very underwhelming experience and we were anxious to leave after a glass of wine.

Quite possibly one of the most unique winery settings in PEC. It is close to the millennium trail and tastings are in a 200 year old barn. The wine is excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Also a winery that utilizes vegan wine making practices.

Visited Karlo Estates last Saturday afternoon with another couple. Even though the tasting room was packed and the staff was "hopping", we were still treated to a great personalized experience. The fact that we were able to sit at a table and and actually enjoy the wine and food pairings (without feeling rushed out the door) was somewhat unique. Two of our group had dietary restrictions but the staff had no problem coming up with alternative pairings for us. We probably tried every wine and port that was available and found all of them to be very good. Great job Karlo -- you are doing it right!

Colin L

Wine was decent, server was knowledgeable. It rained but we were well protected outdoors with their tent. The place was nice. Could’ve used music for a nicer social setting. Take your bug spray!!

A walk through the vinyards on a beautiful summer day with a pleasant and knowledgeable guide. A nice cool barn to relax in or comfortable chairs on the grounds. Altogether a great experience!

2017 VanAlstine Red fortifed wine WAS the discovery for us! A must on your list if you plan a wine tour! The service was great, our waiter describe each wine with so much passion!

Visited this winery and was extremely disappointed!! We signed in and seated ourselves. After waiting over 20 minutes, we left. The staff did not acknowledge us nor provided us a menu. They totally ignored us and proceeded to clean tables and assisted other guests that arrived after us. Upon leaving, we had a conversation with the team lead, Chris who was very apologetic and tried to make our experience a good one by offering us complimentary bottles of wine. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay.

A must visit! My husband and I visited Karlo Estates in February on a cold and super windy day. We were pleased to find them open as many other places weren't. The wines we tried were made better by the exceptional service we got from Ethan. He was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. This is not just a place to try some wines, but also a great place to have a drink and a bite. The lounge was very cozy with comfy couches and a fireplace and I only wish we could have stayed longer. We left with 5 bottles of their delicious wines and we will be back for sure. Thank you Ethan!

We had a very enjoyable wine tasting with a knowledgeable and capable hostess named Samantha. She was fun. The wine at Karlo is really good and to find the counties first Malbec was a pleasant surprise and it’s really good. Thank you

Jessica Laidlaw

Nice location. However, we were a big group (planned) and the presentation was rather cold and not friendly.

Sarah

Cool little winery with a relaxed wine lounge, which feels like a prohibition bar. The wines are all paired with little food samples (nuts, crackers etc) and I really enjoyed the wines - especially the Cabernet Franc. Staff were a bit of a mixed bag. Some friendly, some a little less so.

Some of the best wine in the county and our hostess, Grace, was friendly and knowledgeable - and could carry a lot of wine bottles at one time! The atmosphere was comfortable and we felt right at home. Highly recommend the Malbec!

Live right around the corner from this gem of a winery and am happy to call it our local ????. The wines are delicious (current fave is the Estate Chardonnay) and the barn atmosphere is charming - it’s what you want from a PEC wine experience! Perfect spot to chill with a glass or walk down to the stone bridge for an Instagram pic ????????????

Really neat vibe and good wine. Gave it 4 stars because I'm not a fan of letting the cat hang out ON the bar where wine and food pairings are served

Ryan Foote

Nice place, probably a bit overrated.

Love the old barn, artist in residence, drystone bridge but didn't get to the wine.

A great discovery. We loved the setting: beautiful outdoor space as well as a gorgeous barn. Very attentive to Covid protocols. Wine sampling was good, particularly enjoyed the chardonnay. Damian, our server, was terrific and provided some great info on the history of Karlo and the area. A great stop when in Wellington.

(Translated) Royal treatment. We were treated to the total. The only VEGAN certified vineyard in North America. Yes, we can use animal proteins in various stages of wine making. Who knew ??? Not me obviously. Excellent products and as a bonus, a very affectionate cat. (Original) Traitement royal. On a eu droit à la totale. Seul vignoble certifié VEGAN en Amérique du Nord. Eh oui, on peut utiliser des protéines animales dans diverses étapes de la fabrication du vin. Who knew??? Pas moi évidemment. Excellents produits et en prime, un chat très affectueux.

Wonderful place to visit during Covid. Friendly staff and nice wines. Recommend the Chardonnay and also fortified white

We’re not wine snobs, and we were looking for an unique friendly winery. This is it. We enjoyed the personal experience, and brought back a few bottles. There’s also a resident cat, Little Bug, who greets guests. We especially enjoyed the Petit Verdot.

Peter Verlinden

Great service and wines. The staff were super friendly and attentive, always keeping an eye out to see if we were ready for our next tasting as soon as we were done.

Ashley Filipe

Great wines! Rare winery to offer food pairings to wine tasting (vegan, for anyone interested to know) that really enhances the experience.

Glenn King

Several wines to choose from. We did a flight of three and enjoyed all of them. Took a walk around the property. There is a stone bridge which is pretty neat. Also, there are several cats!! All adorable and super friendly.

Marian Dell

Home grown local artisan vegan winery.

Anita Barnes

I did a wine tour with my colleagues and this was the first stop on the tour. Excellent service, delectable wines and amazing staff. I would highly recommend visiting this location. The rustic barn tasting room is charming and make sure you take a walk out back to see the hand built stone bridge. Thanks for the fantastic visit.

Brian Maracle

Very mediocre.. Have tasted way better wines!! Views aren't spectacular either. They don't do flights. Only $4 per ounce and I won't recommend any of it.

Mel __

A nice little rustic winery that sells good wine and features a full feature tasting session if you chose

Out of the five wineries visited Karlo was the absolute best! From the fantastically friendly and knowledgeable service, to the stunning surroundings, and of course, the impeccable wines. You get a wide range of unique pairings with each wine that just brought out all the best in each wine. The Port Style red and white is to die for! The Port Style white was our absolute favourite out of the twenty-something wines tasted throughout the day, completely unique from anything we've ever experienced. Don't forget your tastings are only $1 each (cheapest out of all wineries we went to) or complimentary with a purchase of two bottles!

Melissa G

Thank you to Samantha for outstanding customer service yesterday during my visit with my sister. She was the most knowledgeable person at any of the wineries we visited during our stay in PEC. She shared efficiently and responsively, info that helped us choose wines that suited us. Thank you for keeping such great staff!!

Axendis Afxentiou

Great wines, dog-friendly indoor seating area, we were pleasantly surprised to find our host and server both spoke french as well!

From yesterday. Karlo Estates, the last winery stop for the day. Once inside, it took me a bit to realize that I had delivered a group here once before in 2019. Two years later... Ta-daaaa This is nice place. It's in a barn, as many are. But this one heralds the past. Once you enter there is a long western feel with a 30+ foot bar. Walk into the back room that is screened in. Tables and a long 4inch thick Oak slab serves as a table. There's seating outside under a canopy or out in the open a hay wagon is the stage for some live music. There was a wedding in the field as well. The sweet spot can be found through a door across from the western bar. A few dimly lit rooms with 1930's furniture and fixtures.

Friendly staff which made for a good wine tasting experience. Recommend the rose.

This was a unique wine tour. I liked the rustic Barn and lounge area with the treats for the wines. The wines were unique to the estate and delectable as well.

Christine Condette

Very cool spot in PEC. Wines are pretty good. Not the best in the county but the space is one of the best!

Brandon Adler

I suggest to start by going to LCBO and picking up $10 Riesling and Rose. Only after you had a pleasure of LCBO vine go ahead and get a 5oz glass of the Karlo Estates Riesling and Rose for the same price. I wont say anything about vine but they do have a very nice property.

Chris Armstrong

Nice wines, BEAUTIFUL barn turned into tasting barn, but too many rules; We are in a group of 23 and we had some friends that don't like white or red and they wouldn't accommodate the tastings; probably makes sense to give us wine we like, so we buy it.

Louise Levesque

The winery/barn is nice, but overall, we didn’t have good experience. The wine is overpriced and served in plastic cups instead of glasses and the service os pretty slow.

Chris La

Great place to experience the wine that the PEC terroir can provide. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend for anyone to visit!

Indra Purnwasi

The staff was super friendly and really helpful

Lori Post

Wonderful final stop on our tour. Thank you so much Sherry

Stephen Lockyear

Enjoyed absolutely everything about our visit here on Nov 25th. Great atmosphere, great service and staff and thank you to the owner for joining in on our Bachelorette fun!

Cheryl Atkins

I find that Karlo Estates is one of the most unique wineries in PEC. They focus on natural winemaking and their wines are produced with little intervention - they are a certified vegan winery - while putting lots of attention into the crafting process. Their wines are, so far, one of my favourites in PEC: fruity, fresh, but they also feel complex. Even with the vineyards and the space being huuuge, their space is cozy and warm, their tasting feels intimate. You can feel that these people put a lot of love in what they do.

Good but understaffed could not take a pic of us and they made us share a glass evem for a flight of 5 switxhing between white and red. Nice chips and chocolate to pair with wines.
