Excellent Cab/Merlot and Chardonnay; lovely spot.

I went there at the end of the day the owner asked if I wanted to join a group who were touring the winery and I did. It was very interesting. They were super friendly and best of all the wines are great. My favorate would be the smooth pinot noir. I will definitely come back here.

Nick Deshpande

Excellent. Had a great bike in from Wellington and this was our first stop on Closson. Tried the 3x red flight and a bottle of the merlot -- both were great. Will be back!

Very cute winery with lovely staff. Decent prices for tasting (5$ for a few) to buy bottles (options at 15-20$) and outdoor space with hamacs, tables, muskoka chairs and music. Their rose and Chardonnay were our favourite.

Kristy Chown

They had live music playing. Everyone was in good spirits and the crowd was easy on the eyes. Very busy spot, they have the family dog that roams the grounds, very friendly, ot to be feed but we enjoyed his company when he visited us. We sampled the wine and recommend the bread and olive oil, just sets the ambience.

Yodaman Solo

Really wonderful service. Sampled the reds and orange wine (nice selection of tasting options). Beautiful seating area; great spot to sip and enjoy.

Went on a girl's trip to PEC and did our own wine tour down Closson Rd before hitting Broken Stone. Before we even got to the door Yvonne( apologies if misspelt) greeted us with dog in tow- super friendly! We went inside and were given complimentary Sparkling wine tastings (delicious). We tried a few red and whites and Yvonne was absolutely wonderful- knowledgeable, fun, helpful. It's not a big space inside to hang out, but if you have a chance, highly recommend visiting as the wines and Yvonne are totally worth the visit! Look forward to visiting in summer!

Extremely friendly staff in the sales area, and a cool dog out the front who was friendly and made the place feel welcoming. We ended up doing a sample flight and buying a bottle. Everything we tasted was very good but there were some clear winners among the offerings.

My wife and I visited Broken Stone with friends of ours over the Labour Day long weekend. We could not have enjoyed the experience more. It was amazing to see a vineyard in only it's 4th year of operation. Yet there we were trying their 2010, 2011 and 2012 Pinot Noirs. I would highly recommend stopping by Broken Stone for a visit. Also, there are so many great wineries in the area that you can make a day of it. It was definitely one of the highlights of our summer. Thanks to Tim and his wife for hosting us, we look forward to returning soon. Dave Irwin

Had a fantastic time visiting Broken Stone. I was able to stop by and enjoy a tasting flight with my husband during one of the first weekends open during Covid 19 and the staff and owners were very welcoming and took the time to stop by to say hello! We appreciate the work put in to making the adjustments so we can safely visit. A gorgeous, peaceful setting with delicious wines. They are offering wine flights and / or wine by the glass with option to buy bottles to take home. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy while overlooking the vines. Bathrooms on site. Definitely recommend!

Daryl Henwood

Nice property and patio to enjoy their wines. The Chardonnays are very good (and comparatively very well priced!). Reds need some time. This winery is on our list of places to revisit.

Hana Hung

So many vineyards and wineries to choose from on Prince Edward County. It’s never boring never gets old. I haven’t been to all of them but I did for the first time discover Broken Stone Winery. As usual the experience was excellent! The wine was fabulous and the winery grounds themselves was pleasant and enjoyable. I will return ????☺️

Great experience. A welcome drink as we walked in. The only place that allowed flights on site during stage 3.

Friendly staff, small unassuming winery. Most of the grapes seemed to come from Niagara. The sheep were super cute though!

Sue-Lynn Boudreault

My family had a great time at Broken Stone, and can't wait to visit again. They did everything right, and then some! The person staffing the tasting room was friendly and knowledgeable. When we walked in, she immediately offered us "welcome wine", a free sample of a delicious sparkling wine (I'm usually a red fan!). All of the wines we tasted were solid and reasonably priced. In an area with tons of wineries, many of which have similar wines, it's the little things that make a big difference and Broken Stone does it all well - the wine, and the customer service. Great experience, and we'll be back! August 2020 Update: Broken Stone has adapted well for the COVID pandemic. Tastings are all now properly distanced on individual Muskoka Chairs and picnic benches overlooking their picturesque vineyard. I wasn't a big fan of the wines this year - very mineral heavy - but the experience was enjoyable, and the staff were as friendly as ever!

Mireille Lapensée

Great atmosphere and selection on wine. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Stephen Blackbyrne
