Very very nice food. Very fresh and tasty. Please do or you will miss out.
I love the minimalist decor/ambiance that they have. Also loved the service. Visited with my partner and we had the white wine sangrias along with the Fungi flatbread. 3 people can easily eat that flatbread. We were more than full by the time we finished it and couldn’t order anything more. Service was great too! I wish we could order more but the flatbread itself was too filling. Maybe will come with a bigger group next time.
Service
As a vegetarian it made me happy that there were plenty of options for me. The staff were very friendly and the food was great!
This is 100% a must try in Banff. Such a cozy atmosphere with beautiful views. Staff was beyond friendly and provided great service. The food is delicious. We had the flank steak, Fungi Flatbread, and Poutine Croquette. Would highly recommend all three. Every meal we saw come out of the kitchen not only looked, but smelt, amazing! Be sure to add this to your list of must-do’s in the area!
Ribs were cooked perfectly, pizza was also great!

the Lamb Neck is a MUST! best one i’ve ever had! service is fast and nice, will come back!
Fabulous service and delicious food. Highly recommend. Slow cooked lamb neck is to die for.
Went for brunch, incredible food, coffee and service! We had the pulled pork breakfast bowl and the smoked salmon lox bowl. Both had locally sourced ingredients...absolutely delicious. The restaurant is also very esthetically pleasing!

This restaurant is definitely the place for a weekend getaway brunch. The ambiance/vibe is modern but unpretentious, and the service is welcoming and friendly. The menu is comparable to other modern brunch places, but it is the food presentation that makes Farm & Fire especially wonderful. For a modern brunch restaurant in a tourist destination, the prices are relatively affordable and fair for its ambiance and quality.
Overall good food. Loved their breakfast. Their pancakes properly the best I have ever tasted. Decided to go for dinner overall ok, the steak was average at best, not worth the price you paid. Was not able to finished not the best meat. It would have been nice to have a variety of steaks. I believe with the menu they have it is limited it would have been nice to have a better cut of steak. .had the dessert which was very good. Properly one of the best place to eat in Banff. As per the steak I would choose something else next time but I would recommend it. Excellent coffee
Wow what an amazing experience! Our waiter Tim was such a delight from the start- easy going, informative about the food on the menu and connected with us during our meal. It was a pleasure speaking with him! The restaurant is gorgeous, cozy and welcoming. The food was good, not too big of portions but enough for brunch. I would totally recommend stopping here for a bite to eat!
Good breakfast spot in Banff. Definitely would recommend. Loved their coffee and the house made blackberry jam.
Great place for brunch! Food and atmosphere was great. I also fell in love with their cups too which was from a local creator. Covid safety protocols were in place and the staff were courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend!
We were recommended this place and had high expectations, however we were disappointed. Everything was fairly one note without and depth of flavour. Cocktails were great. Atmosphere is very family/hotel like. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for a delicious dining experience or great atmosphere. However, service was fast and seems like a good family restaurant.
Great place for a nice brunch, but nothing too special. Food is delicious but I wasn’t too lucky with my plate, didn’t really like the apple chicken sausages… my husband’s plate was absolutely delicious though.
TOMAHAWK - it was delicious. We came for a great meal and we were not let down. Service was excellent Tomahawk steak was done perfectly. Don't forget to Save the bone for your dog!
One of the best Moroccan flat breads I have had in a while. I was absolutely floored with the flavours! Beautiful atmosphere, fairly small space but definitely worth a try!
I already posted a review on another website , but I had to post on google. The food here was unbelievably delicious, as were the drinks. I have to also mention Rebecca , she was our server and had the most amazing service & recommendations. Friendly staff, amazing food, great vibe .. the patio was so relaxing with the beautiful views. I will return ! Just take a look at the photos below . We had the Korean bbq cauliflower, beef ribs, Vege dumplings and charcoal lemonade cocktail! Wow wow I’m craving it right now. Thanks again !

We had a great brunch here in October 2020, we booked it in the same day (would take about couple of hours to get in). The staff were absolutely friendly, knowledgeable. the food was AMAZING, specially the Benedict. Would definitely go back there.
Unique menu with all local ingredients. Great service. Had the half chicken, winter salad and a pasta with pork shoulder.
Stayed at hotel but Farm and Fire pickup order wasn't good. Bad service! I will never pay 15% again for a pickup order when the order was entered in wrong and they forgot our dessert and we had to wait for the order to get redone. And nothing for our troubles. Don't recommend!
Great food! Restaurant is beautiful and has a modern feel to it. Attached to a nice hotel for guests to enjoy. Service is amazing. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. We got the margherita pizza and the cauliflower appetizer! Everything was so good.
Amazing food and a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Our server Rebecca was super knowledgable and made our experience great. The Moroccan Lamb pizza was so tasty and the Espresso Martini was perfection! Would definitely come back!
My partner and I loved having our brunch here. We chose this place 3x out of our 5 brunches during our stay in Banff. On our last day which was our anniversary. They gave us free mimosas!! The food is of consistent quality and the service is spectacular. We never got a chance to try dinner here but the options look just as amazing. We suggest the lox to look forward too and the classic breakfast with sausage. Love the homemade jams too. Amazing!!!!!

Enjoyed a dinner here. Portions were larger than expected. Ordered the butternut squash & pig wing orecchiette, fungi pizza, and a side of potatoes. All dishes were good, though the orecchiette was definitely more heavy than I expected. Cocktails are unique and not likely to be found anywhere else. Not a cheap restaurant but worth a try!
Had the tomahawk, whole chicken and a number of entrees to share with the family. Great food, great service, would highly recommend
Was recommended here by family friends & it did not disappoint for my birthday brunch. Food was delicious & service by Candice was great! She even gave us some tips for places to check out in the area!
A lovely spot downtown with some downright fantastic staff. We only went for drinks, but everyone was so friendly it made the experience excellent. A special shout-out to Grant who made some excellent recommendations regarding our drinks. We will most definitely be back!
Had a great experience here, the service was fantastic. Had a little incident with a spilled Mimosa but the server handled the situation really well and we were very happy with the service. We'll definitely be back here next time we're in Banff.
Best bang for your buck in Banff . The hostess was super nice even put up with my two hyper kids . $12 for chicken and veggies for this plus it included desert ♥️♥️
Searches Google for a place where our whole family would enjoy. Saw the nice reviews and pictures so I booked a reservation. We parked in the hotel’s underground parking after driving around looking for a spot. The restaurant is comfortable and modern. I enjoyed the ribs, and our daughter loved the pizza. The drinks were neat. Everyone enjoyed the desserts. Our waiter was helpful and polite. Prices were in line with Banff prices. Would visit again!

This place is a vibe. Great spot for a nice modern take on brunch. Coffee is great and the selection of foods are refreshing. Very happy to find a spot that didn't seem too touristy and had unique flavours! Highly recommend.
This was probably one of the worst experiences I have had in all my life of dining . We arrived and ordered our food. After an hour of no food and noticing people who arrived after us were getting their food before us, I decided to ask the server about our order. When the food arrived it was cold and everything was wrong! They took the plate back and returned with the exact same plate. At first they offered to comp us 10$ but in the end comped the whole meal. I appreciate that from the manager on duty . But this was a terrible experience for someone out of town
Wow! What can I say. This place delivered on all aspects of the experience and then some! We ordered short ribs and flatbread pizza which were phenomenal to say the least. It’s a must-visit when you’re in Banff and looking for a good place to eat.
Dinner
We had a wonderful experience here! One of the best charcuteries I’ve ever tried and the foie gras basically sent me to heaven. We had the Fungi flatbread and it was so delicious too ???? The portions are huge, but totally worth it! Our server from France was very friendly and attentive, really appreciated that ☺️ Overall, excellent!
Great service, delicious food and creative cocktails. Everything is expertly crafted and very fresh.

The food here was amazing!! We had the sweet potato gnocchi, roasted potatoes and rotisserie chicken, all of it was so flavourful. If I had to choose a favourite, I would have to pick the gnocchi. For dessert we had the pumpkin cheesecake and Nanaimo bar. All of it was excellent! The staff was great, and the Chef was walking around to ensure people were enjoying their meals. The ambiance and vibe was modern and fun, great for a Saturday night date night. We can't wait to go back!
Really good brunch, ok dinner. This was a tricky one to rate based on one meal: ribs were absolutely awesome, great potatoes, chicken was ok and zuccini was just not that interesting. Looks like there can be a pretty wide scale depending on what you order. Service is good and in general it's ok place.
Dinner
Our waitress Candice was super nice and gave really good recommendation for cocktails. One of our favourite cocktails was the Burnt Honey (not in the photos). For dinner we ordered the scotch egg, fungi flat bread and steak tartar. The steak tartar was my favourite and tasted so good with the smoked mustard. Not to mention, the decor was very modern and beautiful. We're definitely going back.
Confit pig wings was great. Butternut squash had an interesting flavor profile with the white chocolate
IMPRESSIVE Lots of good vegan options here. I was pleasantly surprised! Even better, they have aquafaba in cocktails in place of egg white so vegans can enjoy shaken and foamy drinks ????
A fantastic dinner with an emphasis on plate sharing. My favourites were the orrechiette and the rillette! The bartender today was also phenomenal - he made us custom shots and they were to die for... we ended up asking for 2 more freelance creations!
Must say its the best place to dine in and calm down your cravings. Thanks to Amelia for helping us choose some of the best dishes of the restaurant. Must visit during the breakfast time. Awesome place….???? loved the experience ????.
We went for breakfast, the waitress was super nice and she was wearing a mask. The pancakes were not on the menu but the chef made it for me and they tasted sooo good, we also had a plate with scrambled eggs, meat and potatoes which also tasted good. Also ordered a latte that was yummy. I wasn't too busy when the restaurant opened and atmosphere rather calm would definitely come back
Great setting and food! Sat at the bar and enjoyed Scotch eggs and braised leeks in butter sauce and sour dough. They make amazing craft cocktails as well. Recommend the Lady Grey Gin Fizz!
We had Ed as our server for 2 family birthdays. We ordered the lamb neck, mushroom pan bread, gnocchi and stuffed squash. We all really enjoyed our food. Ed recommended two of the dishes and his recommendations were fabulous. I will be coming back, I found everything to be exceptional! The restaurant wasn’t too busy, which was perfect. Decor was quite nice. The quality of the food was wonderful, and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you Ed for a wonderful birthday dinner, it was such a lovely evening. The birthday drinks were appreciated! I highly recommend this restaurant
Stopped for supper and although evening menu is not very abundant in choice, still enjoyed the place! My guess it’s a great brunch spot in town! Ordered chicken rotisserie flatbread, it was excellent. Their non-alcoholic drinks were awesome as well (we tried Pina Colada and Nohito). Emilia served us well, very kind and friendly girl!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and dessert last night. We had the lamb, gnocchi, carrots, and rotisserie chicken flatbread. All the flavours were well thought out and worked. My favourites were the lamb and flatbread and my partners were the carrots, and gnocchi. We finished with the Nanaimo dessert and it was delightful, definitely would recommend if you like Nanaimo bars, this is a delicious one. Service was lovely, everyone was down to earth and it gave the place a very pleasant vibe. The restaurant design is on point too. I noticed kids are welcome and accommodated. Would highly recommend and we plan to return on another Banff trip.
Had dinner here on Christmas eve and I have to say it was one of the best meals we had in Banff. Will be back for sure.
Absolutely incredible food and drinks with wonderful service! Thoughtfully crafted cocktails that are smooth and options that cater to every palate. The dishes are to die for and use locally sourced farm fresh produce and meats making every dish divine. Excellent service and ambiance, if she's working ask to sit in Jamie's section. She has a great sense of humor and her recommendations are on point.
Just ok. I ordered the avocado smash and it was pretty plain tasting, for $18 it's just not worth it. Definitely needs some olive oil or tomatoes to give it some taste. Wait for food was really long, considering we didn't order anything to complex. Service was friendly and really great. Waiter offered us a 15% discount for the delay in getting food out, which is pretty great customer service. Love the interior design and decoration. If the food and drink tasted better they would be 5 stars.
This place is an amazing spot for dinner. After a long day at Sunshine, the restaurant at the hotel next door seemed extremely convenient. It turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in a good while. The waitress was cheerful and friendly, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable of the menu. The margherita flatbread was full if flavour and perfectly cooked. The mushroom pan-loaf, described in the menu only as "You have to try this dish - trust us!" was absolutely fantastic, with a beautiful cream sauce to go with the savoury loaf. Easily the best mushroom dish I've ever had. The Brussels sprouts, with maple syrup, cranberries, and walnuts, were a crispy backdrop with just the right amount of sweetness. Pair all of that with a gin infused hot chocolate for a little bit of a tart kick, and you've got a top notch meal
Amazing food at great prices! Yesterday I had the beets and chicken - so yummy! Great textures and flavours. Today it was a root vegetable flatbread and carrots. Luxurious and simple farm to table food! Will be back again.
One of the best meals we had! The concept needs a bit of explanation but the staff is very friendly and helpful! We even got free drinks because a bottle of water exploded in the hands of our waitress while she was serving us and we didn't even get wet. The food and certainly the cocktails were delicious! The only "negative" we could find was the noise level. All in all, would certainly recommend!

YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!! Is that still a show? Because this place needs to be on it! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary there and what an amazing experience. From the start our server Candice was incredible and made us feel like family. Candice you rock thanks for everything! The dishes were mind blowing and I ate the best thing I have ever eaten in my entire life there - the beetroot tartar. The menu which was created by the new head chef is completely thought out from start to finish and is supported well by his kitchen staff. The roasted leeks that was created by Garret is inventive, mind blowing and delicious! (We didn't get a picture because we inhaled it). Considering it was the head chefs second night with a new menu and food was being severed quickly and correct I would consider Saturday night a massive win for Farm and Fire. Everyone was incredibly interactive with the guests including the kitchen staff. If you're vegetarian or vegan or the biggest of meat eaters this place will have you covered and then some! Come here, experience all it has to offer and you won't be disappointed! I look forward to seeing all this place's accomplishments and being back very soon! P.s the mocha Nanaimo Bar SLAPPED but againt inhaled without a photo.
Absolutely deserves five stars! My favourite restaurant in the entire trip! Best everything!

Edit: Have returned to Farm & Fire twice since this review. A second dinner for Thanksgiving and brunch. 5/5 both times again! This place is actually the best and breakfast was awesome. Pancakes to die for and the service was so fast and always lovely. We had a stellar dinner here a couple of weekends ago on a Sunday evening (locals night pizza and wine) and was so impressed. From the food to the service to the decor, it was just fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, of which we tried a lot! Absolutely recommend Farm and Fire for dinner, especially if you are dining with a couple of people as the meals are perfect for sharing. We shared a couple of mains and sides and were absolutely stuffed! Great atmosphere and the service was fantastic, I’m sorry I don’t remember our servers name but he was lovely and engaging. One of my favourite restaurants in town now, it reminded me of some of my favourite Melbourne restaurants which is something I’ve been looking for in Canada. Loved it!
Went it because it was part of the hotel. Make reservations ahead! Loved the decor and the ambience. Service was great, food came very quickly. We ordered the mushroom loaf, half rotisserie chicken, fungi pizza and a smoked out canyon. The mushroom loaf was my favorite! It was very flavorful and just very very delicious! Recommend getting this if you're a fan of mushrooms (maybe even if you're not...). The fungi mushroom was good too except felt like it needed something a tiny bit sweeter in the sauce to contrast other flavors. Couldn't really taste the truffle. The rotisserie chicken was pretty standard. The drink was a bit too sweet and not strong.
I’m kinda bummed out, we went here for breakfast as we heard the reviews were great. The portion sizes were very small, and the toast was hard as rock. We had to cut it with a knife to get it into manageable pieces. Our group found the food unanimously bland and not really all that good. Maybe it was just an off day, but I’ve had better experiences at places that charge a fraction of the price :(
Great service. Amazing food. Beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended! We had their happy hour flatbread: one Margherita and one Fungi. They were both so good we couldn't really decide which one was the best. The dough was tasty, yet very light. Quality ingredients, perfect preparation. We had the Pull apart bread for dessert and it exceeded our expectations: perfect dough with lots of sticky caramel and whipping cream. The restaurant is beautiful and you can get a nice view of the mountains depending where you are seated. Great selection of cocktails, beers and wine. Hostess was really friendly, waitress was perfect. Welcoming staff. I would definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
This was our favourite restaurant in our recent Banff trip! Everything was very well prepared and the flavours were perfectly balanced. We are here twice and both times were great! The catch of the day tartare was the stand out dish, but everything g we tried was delicious. Highly recommended!
We had a small family gathering. Emilia was our server, she was amazing! Her recommendations were on point. The food was really good. We had many dishes and flatbreads. All were excellent. The wine list is awesome and supports Canadian wineries and many of our personal favourites were included. Thank you Emilia for treating our kids like gold, they all loved you. Cheers definitely coming back.
Saw some very good reviews on google but I apparently we didn’t order the correct dishes I guess. Please scape these very good looking but not as tasty dishes… They are okay, but not worth the money… I think we will try those recommended dishes next time we visit Banff.
Dinner
Wanted to treat myself during my one night in Banff. This was the perfect place! I ordered the Shrimp Orecchiette and it was incredible! The pasta was al dente, still had some bite to it. The breadcrumbs gave the dish a bit of crunch. The shrimp was not overcooked. The cream sauce was amazing and tied everything together. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The decor was very elegant. Definitely worth giving them a try!
Me and my husband had walked for 45mins around banff to look for a good steakhouse after our reservation was canceled by 1888 chophouse in fairmont (due to us running late) we were getting really hungry and disappointed by how many restaurants closing early and turning us away. We decided to try farm and fire as our last resort and surprisingly they seat us right away even thou they were going to close in 15mins. They gave us the friendliest service and the best steak both of us have ever had. The chicken was so flavorful as well. I ordered the tomahawk steak. Apparently it is 50 oz and it cost 85$. It is well worth it for me as it’s a special experience. We were able to take it home and have leftovers too. My cocktails also were very strong but very good. For 12$ it was amazing. I’ve had 14$ cocktails in Vancouver but taste not good. Thank you for saving our night and being so friendly! We know covid and short staff have affected a lot of restaurants but you were able to provide the best service in banff. Worth every penny. I would come again if I’m ever in banff!
I was there for the breakfast . So friendly and helpful staff and I enjoy how place looked . I will go back for sure
Service
Went to Farm & Fire because a different reservation didn't work out. Left SO satisfied, we couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. We had the cauliflower steak, 1/2 chicken & carrots. 11/10 recommend. Can't say enough good about this place.
Phenomenal food. Amazing and attentive service by Rebecca. The gnocchi was to die for. The Margherita Flatbread was worth every bite. I would give higher stars if I could, which is a rarity. They have happy hour, so this meal with 2 glasses of wine was under $50.
Amazing food. Love eggplant with shrimp. Amazing rib and what can I say about the chicken beside greatttt. Love the decor and professional staff. Definitely recommend this place
Absolutely superb dinner experience! Would highly recommend to anyone in the Banff area. Uniquely inventive dishes, whether you are a vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore. One of the best beef tartare I’ve ever had and the vegetable dishes will convince any meat eater to try eating vegetarian for a while. The cocktails are well balanced and generous. Wait staff is friendly and very allergy accommodating. The prices are extremely reasonable, even a little lower than expected. Meeting the passionate and sincere chef was a pleasure as well. We had such a great experience we went back for brunch the next day and had an equally delicious meal (they understand there’s more to brunch than just eggs). Bravo to the staff, chef, local farmer partners, and all involved!
