Great experience. Definitely worth it, even if you are not a fan of tea - like me. Everything was delicious, the views were amazing and the service was excellent - Amy did an amazing job at guiding us through this experience.

For $78 per person this was not worth it. My girlfriend and I recently went in January 2021 and the food was dry and stale. Tasted as if they pulled it out of freezer. Views were good. Service was good. Food was not at all. Was extremely disappointed.

Great selection of tea but the real prize is the pyramid of bite size sandwiches and desserts. It was alot of tasty food. 4-stars as it is a bit pricey.

“A Must Do Experience” after 47 years of living in Canada, my husband and I got our first taste of the Fairmont Banff Springs High Tea. The Canadian Afternoon Tea menu is absolutely elegantly & deliciously prepared. And it had a gluten free option as well. I had the “Green Tea: Kyushu Japan Sencha Spring harvest yields a deliciously vegetative green tea with buttery smoothness My husband has his all time favourite, Creamy Earl Grey A remarkably heady earl grey tempered with wickedly delicious cream flavour. One cup is not enough.” If you ever decide to do your Rockies Tour, don’t leave Banff, Alberta, Canada without raising your pinky for Teatime & be treated like a “royal”- "Teatime: A hug for the soul and spirit."

Honestly not sure why people are giving high reviews. Definitely not a traditional look of an English tea. I was there in 2016 and at that time it was 5 Star. Fast forward to this past weekend in 2021 and what a disappointment. Definitely NOT worth the $68-$78 per person. We were a group of 6. They brought out this ugly, magnetized rack with a stack of food. Food looked very pretty and fairly presentable, but, aside from the chicken sandwich, the rest had no taste. Tea was delicious though. At this time, as the world is going through Covid, I was looking for something to brighten the day, something positive, something we could really enjoy. This was not it. Just because of the price, which was very high, I do not recommend this. If you want a much prettier and tastier experience of high tea, there are other and much better places in Calgary. Service was very good though.

High tea in Banff is always a treat! There are a variety of teas to choose from and each has a distinct palette but keep in mind that you only get to try one so choose wisely. At one point they used to let you try more than one tea, which always made high tea feel like a better value; but now you have to plan strategically with other members of your tea party if you want to try more than one kind. The pastries (both sweet and savoury) are scrumptious and always presented beautifully. They do an excellent job of switching up the menu so you are in for a different experience if you go more than once. Highly recommended for a special event or social gathering; especially with a stunning view that overlooks the mountains.
