We stopped in here on our Cabot trail trip, as my husband is a huge whiskey fan, however the staff were very short and rude. You cannot do tastings and tours only run on the hour. I would not recommend stopping here unless it’s after 5 when the restaurant opens and the maybe you’ll get the service and respect a customer deserves.

The room had a wonderful view. Request #9 if you can. It has a magical view of the stream running through the property. The staff are kind and the location lovely. It was my second stay. The first was on my honeymoon. We were 1/2 hour late getting out of the chalet and felt rushed. This was my second stay with my new partner. I wanted to surprise him with an incredible experience. For $450 a night I would have expected warm running water to shower with in the morning. It was ice cold after trying to run the water for 7 minutes. The “breakfast” included a horrible chocolate chip muffin, a unripened peach and bad coffee. Again something I would not expect of a 5 star resort. The music was mediocre at best and I am.a lover of all music. I would recommend going to lunch or a tasting but it is definitely not worth the stay.
