Bought a few bottles of wine here. Stopped by the NSLC after and they were cheaper there. Taste was okay and the bottles were full of sediment. Will not go back or suggest to anyone else.

We recently visited Blomidon Estate on August 20th and it was great! In fact, a little walk through the vineyard happened to be the perfect place for a proposal.. so of course this winery is very special to us now! We celebrated with a glass of Blomidon's Brut Reserve on the patio and the staff brought us a charcuterie board! It was a perfect day, and I'm glad it happened here!

Entering the vineyard and winery itself, it's a beautiful blend of Nova Scotian charm (the view is stunning) and a modern, freshly designed tasting room. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel right at home for a tasting. We tried a few of their selection and we were so impressed. I don't typically like white and we left with a Tidal Bay white that was delicious! Our hearts however, were stolen by the Baco Noir... a smooth red, full of flavour, not too sweet. Just perfect! We've been searching for a new red after our favourite was discontinued at the NSLC a few years back. I'm glad to say that my new "house red" is not only BETTER than my old fave... it's local too! I just served the Baco Noir with a Turkey dinner and it was sensational and an instant hit. Now I don't have to wait for an excuse to travel out that way because it will be THE reason to go down! Thanks, Blomidon Estate Winery!

Some really great wines here - my favorites were the reserves. It's a beautiful estate, even when we couldn't see much due to a heavy storm. Service was more than decent. Would recommend this place.

(Translated) Superb place which presents some good wines. Personally, we really liked Tidal Bay, which serves well as an aperitif. The staff would benefit from being more welcoming and presenting the wines with a little more enthusiasm ... Otherwise, we still enjoyed the superb view of the Bay. (Original) Superbe endroit qui présente quelques bons vins. Perso, nous avons bien aimé le Tidal Bay qui se sert bien à l’apéro. Le personnel gagnerait à être plus accueillant et à présenter les vins avec un peu plus d’enthousiasme… Sinon, nous avons quand même profité de la vue superbe sur la Baie.

This winery is a bit further from Wolfville past Canning... but soooooooo worth the visit. Enjoy their beautiful wines that are rivaled by the incredible view from their patio. The staff are always so knowledgeable and well versed in their wines. A summer in Nova Scotia isn't complete for me without at least one trip here!

We bought the 2015 unoaked chardonnay it cost $22 and a taste test of four wine lovers were totally disappointed. Very bitter and unpalatable. Give us Niagara wines anytime!
