Amazing! This winery is truely one of a kind. The building has a very nice Mexican/South America theme. Tried all 4 wines offered and was not disappointed, their Piegato Rosé was excellent. Also enjoyed their Charcuterie board, which includes locally sourced ingredients. I would highly recommend visiting and enjoying a drink on the patio. Truely felt like I was down south.

Friendly, welcoming relaxing environment. The wine is done to perfection. The food is delicious and tantalizing to the palate. If I were to suggest anything it would be the hours of operation (open later than 7). But whatever the time is, sharing a bottle of wine and a margarita pizza would be pleasing anytime.

The view and atmosphere are very good but it is way overpriced. We had a cheese/cured meat plate for $25 and there was very little on it; of say half what you would normally expect. I asked for a taste to decide between 2 beers and was charged $2 for it without being told in advance which is a weird move given that our total bill was $200. I also had a glass of wine and was recommended by the server to get the cheapest on the menu as it was the best tasting her in her opinion. I went with it but somehow was charged a more expensive one instead. They seem to behave like a tourist trap and try to get the most money out of you when you go there instead of trying to build returns. I therefore won't go back.

A gorgeous building that makes you think you are in Tuscany. The restaurant specializes in pizzas; the pizzas are also just like being in Italy. See pic. Just FYI this isn't a typical winery where you can call in and do some tastings at the bar; tastings are done at the table (maybe that will change after COVID is over). Our server wasn't the most attentive; she took 10 minutes to bring water, she never topped the water up, and her service was just not up to par considering what a fantastic place this is. But it's still a 5 star place!

Great light lunch. margherita pizza, glass of whine, and for me glass of their own Bent Nail IPA. Tad more fresh basil would make it perfect. Food and a beautiful sunny, relaxing day transposed us to Italy, even if only in a daydream. It was our second time at the Bent Ridge and we will be back.

We went here for a work Christmas lunch and had a wonderful time. A beautiful buffet of local vegetables, mashed potatoes, carved turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, homemade gravy AND fresh apple pie made that morning. The wines were the icing on the cake.

Came on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The building is very neat and picturesque, and the property is gorgeous. Enjoyed a pizza made fresh and tastings of all of the wines. Great value for the food and wine. Be sure to check out each of the bathrooms!

Stayed a night for "Glamping". Had dinner at their restaurant. I ordered the "El diablo mi amigo" I think it was called. It was one of if not the best wood fired pizza I have ever had. For me it was up there with authentic pizza you get in Italy. Crispy thin crust, the right amount of toppings and flavor in every single bite. The decor of the restaurant fits the quality of the food. Great atmosphere and thankfully the outdoor area is even heated. It got a little cool in the evening. I'll have to go back and see what the other pizzas taste like. ????

This place is a hidden gem. The decor transports you to a small Italian or Californian bistro. The pizza is one of the best I’ve had in Canada. Try their wine sampler and find a favourite. Rain or shine, the patio is a perfect place to spend an afternoon. Many thanks to our hostess who made the visit even better.

Lovely red wine based on Marquette and delightful white blend. Impressive premises. Close your eyes and you're in Tuscany. Delicious thin crust wood fired pizza. Congenial owners and staff. A great start for this unique Nova Scotia winery.

Bent Ridge is a place you always long to return to. With their amazing decor, inside and out (including their bathrooms!) in the Spring, Summer and Fall you can imagine you're in Spain or Italy. In the winter (especially after dark) you can imagine you're inside a Swiss chalet with their wonderful big fireplace crackling and a clear view of the lights at Ski Martock right out the front windows. We had the privilege of being invited to a Customer Appreciation night which fell on my husband's birthday in December. It was a stormy night which seemed to make it even more fun. The owners and staff are all so incredibly friendly, efficient, courteous and best of all - they're fun! Whenever they have a spare minute they go out of their way to make you feel special and your patronage well appreciated. The food is always excellent. My favourite word for Bent Bridge is that it is "Magical".

Impressive spot and hard to believe we were still in Nova Scotia. We shared a salad and stuffed mushrooms and then ravioli pasta and cheese and pepperoni pizza. Each dish was spot on and scenery was breath taking. Staff was friendly and service was great. We will definitely be back…

Just a spontaneous stop, and I’m so glad we did. Wine was excellent, beer was good. Staff was knowledgeable and went through all the wines with us . The patio was covered and had a fire place over looking the vineyard, so it was perfect for an afternoon. Wish we had more time to spend there.

Food and wine was good, but at $24 the charcuterie board was woefully scarce. At that price point I think we got 6 (8?) thin slices of salami and maybe 15 crackers along with a small amount of various other toppings. $10 maybe would have been appropriate for the portion sizes. The taste was good but very overpriced for the portion sizes.

Beautiful little spot hiding in n.s. If you like to travel & like wine. Come here. The sun was out, the patio was open. Service is friendly and wicked atmosphere. The only thing that was wrong was the wind and you had to watch your glasses and menus and food from flying. Little walking areas all around the winery, nice scenic photo opportunities.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here especially on the patio with a lovely view. However my husband and I ordered pasta thinking it would be so yummy it was awful and expensive for how bad it tasted. Almost as if it was frozen possibly very disappointing. Pizzas are amazing but a little lacking of toppings.

My wife and I stopped here because all of our other favorite spots in the valley were swamped and this definitely won’t be going on our return list. The entire experience was poor, from the passive aggressive host to the very long wait times to the bland food. They were definitely busy, but I can’t see how any respectable restaurant can take well over an hour to prepare a charcuterie board. That dish actually tasted ok, but how hard is it to cut up good ingredients that you bought? We asked several times for a shady spot (my wife is six months pregnant) only to see two other groups who came later get them first. Our waiter was very nice, but clearly didn’t really care much about our experience. I assume this was just an anomaly due to it being so busy, but the aloof and poor service are enough that I will never be back. It’s too bad as it’s a beautiful spot. Gavin

I cannot give this place enough accolades. It was like a little piece of Tuscany, only a quick hop from Halifax. We went September 2020 from Moncton, and I can't get back there fast enough. The weather was grey, but in their all seasons room with lit fireplace was delightful. The brie app with jams was delicious, the pizza was most-craveable. The wine sampler gave me a chance to try an array of their wines. All were good. I might have brought home a few bottles! My BF had the beer sampler, enjoyed a few glasses, and then brought home a growler. I had the chance to meet one of the owners, and he was most-hospitable and kind. All together, my guy and I can't wait to go back again. We both had such a great experience. Grazie!

This is a beautiful little spot with views of the vineyard and of the nearby ski hill. We ate at the restaurant recently and it was ok. Also stayed at the yurts for a night. Nice little spot with some amenities provided, and also a nice campfire area and washer toss available. You can tell the yurts are brand new, since only one of the staff knew what was going on with them, but they're new and that system will improve with experience. Good little getaway there with the yurts and the restaurant, plus the orchard also. Worth the stop, just come in with realistic expectations, it's not Italy.

I stopped in at the end of July just after their opening and was amazed. Everything was exquisite. The paring of wine and artisan pizza. Raved to my friends until we made a trip all together. I have to say something happened to the pizza between July and last week of September. Service was great, wine flowed easily but the pizza, although it was the same toppings, just did not taste the same.

On a recent visit, the chicken pasta (yes, small plates) was served without chicken. The replacement had chicken (no more than 2 ounces?) and was likely reheated - it had little sauce and therefore, little flavour.

Absolutely loved it here! Service was wonderful, and the pizza was perfectly done. Highly recommend the East Coaster! The view was also incredible from our table. Cozy and classy atmosphere in a picturesque location. Can’t wait to go back!

Disappointed to say that an earlier reviewer was correct saying that they are very skimpy with the pizza toppings. What was worse is that the toast we had with our pasta dish was burned..I did smell it burning but was surprised when they actually served it. The wine was good as was the service but must put some more effort on the food especially at the prices charged.

The patio was great ,nice breeze. The Downeater pizza was very pathetic. It was wanting for toppings. No flavour to the mushroom pizza . The Burrata was good but very little condiments with it not enough jelly 1 strawberry sliced sourdough bread good. $$$$

Generous and well appointed charcuterie board, and excellent pizzas! Acacia and Adam made the evening though. We had the kind of experience you can't teach people to give, it has has be born in you. Down to earth people, great food, fast and courteous service. You guys knocked it out of the park, can't wait to come back!
