Fine wines!
(Translated) Very warm welcome and presentations from John and explained to us in French. Thank you! (Original) Très bel accueil et présentations de la part de John et nous a expliquer en français. Merci!
Wine is good.
Amazing winery which have some good red wines. Best part is, they pair their wines with cheeses for whole awesome wine-tasting experience. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with the selection.
This is a regular stop when we visit NOTL. Keith is the wine tasting room is awesome. He is knowledgeable about not only the wines but the area.
So many better options. We booked tasting in the sensory gardens (it ended up being on fake grass), the service was disorganized. The wine was poured quickly and carelessly- I don't even know which wine is which right now on my table. It feels more like a purchased wine at backyard fundraiser than a tasting.
Clients loved it....I've been here myself and I liked it too. Worth to visit
Horrible service. Every winery go out of there way to serve you these people just ignore you unless you flash money. Sad place
Wonderful service and atmosphere! Greg was very friendly and knowledgeable while keeping things accessible. We'll be back!
My wife and I got a coupon for free samples in Niagra-on-the-Lake so we decided to check it out. The service was great, we just weren't a huge fan of the wine. If you do like their wine, definitely check them out!
Another great winery. Great tour and explanation of how wines are made, the different variances, etc. great ice wine!
This was my favourite winery in the Niagara region! John was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to! I recommend it to all of my friends now!
Wine was great staff were wonderful
Fantastic wine! The ice wine is fabulous, good experience.
Extremely recommended...very knowledgeable, good wines , good food
Excellent time again!!+!
I really enjoyed my visit to the winery, it was a far better experience than going to the bigger more "recognized" estates like Peller. More quaint and better staff. We rode bicycles to the estate which was breeze and easily accessible from the waterfront scenic trail. I also booked for an experience lunch in the Sensory Garden (light meal ( chose the Milanese pizza (white pizza with smoked duck, mozzarella, caramelized onions, gorgonzola and drizzled with rosemary olive oil) $10 6oz Reif wines served in keepsake wine glasses) It was beautiful on the garden, the food and drinks were lovely BUT unfortunately limited to half hour slots and they do not give you any wiggle room when your time us up. In my case, we got there on time at 12 noon, but didn't get seated until 12:08 and we got our drinks on time but had to wait for the pizza, needless to say when they told us time was up and new guests were hovering I was disappointed as we still had food and drinks. **I would recommend booking 2 slots one for you and another for your other companion*** that way you can enjoy the experience and not feel rushed. We loved the Reif Gamay Rosé and the Reisling. Will definitely visit again.
Went for wine tasting, was full. Called following morning to reserve, "no reservation, first come first served". Come early afternoon, place is completely empty but "fully booked with reservation for the day". Try to make sense of that... by far the most unwelcoming winery in the area
Great wines, beautiful winery and friendly staff.
Wine tasting with chocolate was excellent. I love the Cabernet Merlot and second press ice wine. A must-go-to if visiting Niagara area.
Nice atmosphere, very large selection, a few unique vintages.
I work there
Thank you so much for your excellent service in delivering a case of your amazing Riesling right to our door in Toronto in less than 48 hours from ordering. And we hope to be able to come back to your wonderful events very soon with our EV.
Great selection of wines and condiments. They had a red wine sale today! ????????
We had gone to several wineries (5-7) for tastings last week, and I can easily say that out of all of the ones we visited, Reif was the best both in the quality of wines and also tasting experience. John was awesome and taught us so much about the wines and the winery. He really set the tasting apart from other places that just pour you three wines and leave. The wines were also so so good. We ended buying up a few bottles. I definitely recommend anyone in the area who likes wine or just learning and having fun conversation to come here.
I love this place!! My absolute favorite in all of NOTL. The wine is amazing and we buy several bottles everything! One of the best tours around also.
Very pleasant services. We went to ask for specifics services and wine and they were very helpful. Btw very beautiful winery.

Great Tour and Wine
Found a wonderful Pinot Grigio at Reif Estate Winery.
This is a first class experience!! Great staff that is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great for my tour group.
Excellent customer service , good food and gelato !!! The wine was a little too sour dry for us , however the ice wine made up for it !! Recommended!!!
Reif wines are so good! I’ve enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cab lately. The rose is tasty too! Can’t wait till crossing the border is easier so we can explore the winery and the wines more! Cheers!
Terrible experience... While it was not our first stop on a pre-paid wine tour, no one was stumbling, no one was even sluring when we arrived at Reif. We were gracious and quiet as we waited to be treated to our wine tasting. Admittedly as we were ushered into a private room for the tasting we became a bit excited. By this I mean we were loud. Yes we were loudly laughing and talking about the fact that we got a private room and was having an amazing day in a limo. But the blond girl behind the counter about to serve us tiny samples of wine, saw the mass of loud Trinidadian people and decided to call another worker who begun to quote smart serve to us. What else but racism could have been the motivation behind this. 8 Canadians, 6 of which are culturally Trinidadian, 1 of Ukrainian background one of Indian but all Canadians and we were told that the winery could not serve us wine for "our own safety" and we needed to leave. First of all no one was actively drunk. No one was stumbling, no one was even at the point of sluring their words, we were not destructive we were just loud. But instead of being asked to "please quiet down a bit" which we were all sober enough to acquiesce to politely, and continue the tasting, we were kicked out, "for our saftey". We were being driven in a limo, meaning, no one was driving, not even at the point of sluring or stumbling, and we were kicked out "for our saftey". Ridiculous!! (I understand that while inebriated you may not know you are inebriated but the driver was shocked at what occurred because in his own words "you all didn't even seem tipsy") What else could this be but racial discrimination. From other reviews we can see we were not the only ones. But if you're white you had a great time. The really funny thing is that we were much louder and more rambunctious in other wineries on the tour but not being racist, they loved us and all asked us to please return, some saying forget the tour stay the day with us. The winery's event manager has now called us back and she was amazing and cordial to us, and offered many apologies, but I'm leaving my 1 star for now maybe a staff change in the future will help this rating to go up.
Always a great experience and friendly staff. Our favourite winery ????
we had a great girls weekend, Reif was our final stop on the biking wine tour. Great service & the wine was delicious. Special mention to Michael for assisting in our photoshoot out front by the water fountain- instagram worthy!
Great German winemaking tradition. Good white wines, especially riesling and late harvest vidal. Skip the reds. Used to be way cozier 15 years ago. A bit too on the commercial side today. Still a great place to visit.
Jeff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time here. The sparkling Chardonnay was very good, bought a bottle.
Warmly greeted immediately upon arrival. Always a staple on our visits to Niagara on the Lake. Good variety of wines with a good tasting experience. Great outdoor space and gift shop, provided non-alcoholic beverages to those in our party who don't drink. They also accommodate large parties well, and without taking away from the experience of smaller groups.
The food was cold and long waiting lines
Gus is great!!!
Awesome wine, friendly people. Went on a wine tasting tour and this was one of our stops.
Super fantastic wines here. The guides are incredibly informative and fun. Many of their wines are available at the LCBO so don't worry too much. The gardens are especially nice with a glass of wine.
A must visit in Niagara on the Lake for locals and tourists. Always an amazing time but yesterday was exceptional. We chose Reif as our wedding wine and was simply picking up the bottles, however John (tasting connoisseur) and Michael (MOD) made sure our experience was great. We went to the Sensory tasting bar and had our senses indulged, tasting 8 amazing wines. Micheal congratulated our engagement with a bottle of their sparkling and then helped us load all 18 cases of wine. The only down side is usually they have 2 Irish wolfhounds to pet, which unfortunately we’re off enjoying their Christmas holiday.
Beautiful establishment, not particularly fond of their wines but the staff are quite friendly. It's always very busy, a little too busy for me...
(Translated) The ice wine tastes good. (Original) 아이스 와인 맛이 좋아요.
Reif was the last stop on our wine tour and we had Calvin. He was amazing trying to figure out the type of wines we liked and didn't and made us try a few we never thought we would like. He was very friendly and knew a lot about the ingredients and different pallets everyone had. He let us try more wines then he told us which were all really good. They also have a beautiful property. Would highly recommend.
Great tasting wines. We visited on Sept. 5th 202. Keith was very knowledgeable and fun. We will definitely be back!
Best Blends in NOTL! A must visit!
Visited 3 times. Really nice winery. Right on the river. The USA is right there across the River. First visit, got a case of 2018 Pinot Grigio from John. It just wasn’t my favorite. Went back and got case of 2018 Chenin Blanc from Michael. Nice but a bit lacklustre - the wine, not Michael! Went back again and got a single bottle of 2018 Chardonnay. Highly recommended by Diana (my favorite! And I don’t mean the wine...) Haven’t tried it yet but it looks great. Why is everyone so nice there?? I didn’t want to leave! I’m really looking forward to wine tastings starting up again. Reif will be 1st in my list.
Visited this winery as part of a self guided guided bike tour. It was our first stop and we came back later in the day to complete a tour. John led the tour and he was excellent. Kept the tour interesting and you can tell he was passionate about the subject. Would recommend the tour. Great selection of wines, jams and other memorabilia at the winery.
I had the chance to go try different wines and all the personal was really nice. The location is just lovely
Wine tasting for daughter's wedding
My husband and I went mid day on a Thursday. We had a flight including the late harvest Vidal, the orange wine and the Vidal icewine. My husband likes off-dry wines and these were very tasty. After the tasting, we had lunch in the garden. The garden is beautiful, the food is quite good and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our visit.
We had a day tour booked with a tour guide consisting of 6 wineries. By FAR, Reif was one of the classiest, most well informed tastings we attended. Outstanding information by Henry … he’s an absolute joy to learn from!! Thank you Reif, we will return again!!
We had an amazing time on our tour guided by Mel who was full of energy and extremely knowledgeable when it came to answering all our questions about their production process. Couldn't recommend the tour enough!
Cute ????
Fantastic guided walking tour. It’s worth noting that there isn’t any optionality with the wine selection here — you are provided a plastic wine glass prior to the tour, and your tour guide carries along a predetermined selection for you to taste along different spots of the premises. Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and detailed in the tour — Reif is the winery at which we learned to most about the wine making process. The ice wine slushies are a novelty (to my knowledge, only available here), but a fantastic treat on a hot summer day. Reif ice wines are all fantastic — my personal favourite in the region. Would highly recommend.
Great experience and wines/cheeses. Paying extra to do the tastings in the loft and adding the cheese platter is well worth it.
Cute little vineyard, beautiful packaging for their wine.
Impossible to get ahold of by phone or email. I had to reschedule a tour due to bad weather and I've been calling all day and leaving voicemails with nobody getting back to me - seems like money gone down the drain.
Good wine, excellent wine liqueur
Loved this winery!! They are so much fun and creative. We happened to come in at a great time because they were having a two week celebration of mardis gras and gave us tokens to use in the back room where we got to sample 4 different wines paired with food. Service was great.
(Translated) Located in Ontario, Canada, the ice wine was impressive. (Original) 캐나다 온타리오주에 위치한 곳인데, 아이스와인이 인상적이었음
Lovely staff and the best wine I have ever tasted. Definitely recommend.
I had the chance to go try different wines and all the personal was really nice. The location is just lovely
I’ve visited Reif twice now, and it remains my favourite winery. The service is always exceptional and I’ve never tried a wine here I didn’t love. Beautiful property. I recommend this winery to everyone.
Only giving a 2 star because the wine was solid and the estate is beautiful. However, I wasn’t pleased that it was marketed as a “Traditional Christmas market” and it was the furthest thing from it. You’d expect there to be some sort of Christmas theme aside from the drinks and snacks we had to buy. Past that, I just found the 2 ladies that welcomed us In the store quite rude. Perhaps it was a bad day because there was a flood, but still... compared to every winery I was at today, this one was by far the worst.
Best wine place! Amazig staff, good price!
Excellent place for a wine tour. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Specifically good for German wine making history
Came here to do a blind wine tasting, but ended up doing different tastings instead. We had the chocolate and wine tasting, along with the white wines and charcuterie board. Our guide Jake was a delight, very relaxed and down to earth while still very hospitable, engaging, and informative. The chocolate pairing was wonderfully done, as was their charcuterie board. Definitely will make it a regular stop.
Love all their wine. From Ottawa and always travel once a year to come here
Great atmosphere
(Translated) It is an ice winery that has been running for the 13th generation, and I tried a little tasting, but it seemed to have the best aroma and taste. Several people in the group lived. There are many foreign visitors, so I waited for more than 10 minutes. I recommend visiting.
The Magician is one of my favourite wines. Try it if you find yourself here!
It was my First experience at a vineyard. Tasted different wines essential ones for $15 and found my perfect one Vidal Icewine. Also tried Duck pizza for the first time, it’s was such a wholesome experience.
Great wine. Some of the best in Niagara
Organised tour / tasting of Reif Winery and store Saturday 5th May, 2018. Very nice, with excellent and knowledgeable staff member.
Johny is the greatest. Make sure you ask for him when you come for a tasting. The friendliest and most fun host we have met
Our tour guide Gus was absolutely fantastic! The wine was delicious, the experience fun and educational!
This is a great winery and by far had one of the cheapest wine tastings- $5!! My friend tried the Vinea and regretted not buying a bottle and taking it back. Overall this winery is an excellent choice to do many tastings and still pay the price of one compared to other wineries.
We just love Reif Estate Winery the staff is very professional Michael was the one who help us on the last visit wonderful
We had an appointment at four for a tasting and we wern't seated until four thirty. The hostess was kind enough to bring us some sparkling wine as an apology for being behind and it was appreachited! But it still made us tight for time for our dinner reservation. Jacob served us at the tasting and he was really friendly and informative! He made great recommendations. The bathrooms were disgusting. The garbage was overflowing and there was paper everywhere, it smells really bad as well. Over all it was also crowded outside and not a relaxing experience until we were finally seated.
Found the love of my Life at Reifs. I´m talking about wine ;) It was a red Gamay. I fell in Love immediately. Service was fine as well. Unfortunately it is too expensive to order the wine and deliver it to Germany. So I have to feed my soul with economy class drinks :D
German wines at its best $80 for a desert ice wine.
Very good
The "Magician" shiraz is amazing.
Good wines and friendly staff. Classic styled facility. Grounds are definitely beautifully manicured.
The historic winery's house is here and the owner's kind explanation about their grafe, land, life and history you can understand
Very much enjoyed a visit to Reif winery where we chose not to do tasting but rather had a glass of delightful sparkling wine on the terrace. The wine was refreshing and came in a reusable plastic souvenir cup that had two uses beyond the obvious. One, you can get refills in this glass for only $5 on this visit or any return visits! Amazing! Second they are yours to take home. The would make great glasses for by the pool or dock as they are not breakable! The winery overall had a very classic but relaxed atmosphere and lots of seating in and out of the sun. Thumbs up Reif!
Fantastic service from a young lady studying to be a vintner. She had lots of time for us to explain the differences of their products and it was a pleasure to have spent time with her. Love the ice wines.
We went for a tasting of the ice wine. We had a great time and ended up buying a bottle of wine we didn't expect to. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cool place and fantastic ice wines!
Just came by for a walk in tasting and John was fantastic! He was able offer some great suggestions and was very welcoming. Will definitely be back!
I removed a previous review describing an unfortunate encounter with one of the managers, after a kind apology I received from the company. Thank you "Reif".
Had a lovely time here today as part of a bike winery tour. The ladies who greeted us were very friendly, and the girl who took us on the tour (high school geography teacher) was very fun and knowledgeable about the wine and estate. I loved learning about the history of Reif Estates, the climate and soil conditions that make Reif and the Niagara region a great place for making wine, and the wine-making process. All the wines we tried were delicious, especially the ice wine! Thanks for a great time :)
Delicious and very reasonably priced wines. Really enjoyed the 3 wine tasting. Not typically a big fan of ice wine but enjoyed the sample.
A lightning fast visit to the Reif Estate Winery that was part of a Niagara Falls trip. We had a quick taste of different wines. Exquisite and delicious wines they were too. All in all good fun.
Great ice wine! Beautiful patio with snacks!
ice wine was great. I would recommend anyone check it out.
Big operation, solid wine options. Call ahead for the sensory tasting experience. Food is seasonally available. It can get busy with tours coming in regularly.
Wine tour. Great wine with great food
Amazing estate and winery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and what process goes into the making of the wine.
One of our stops before getting to the Niagara Falls where we had a wine tasting session. I love the iced wine.
Quite disappointed with the wine tasting here to be honest. We're not picky when it comes to wine tasting. Hey, who doesn't like wine?! I know everyone has different preferences when it comes to wine. But the service here is ridiculous, the bartender argued with us over how many samples we can get in a flight (we were right)? We also had a complimentary icewine tasting but we're in addition charged ($5/tasting) for their Cabernet Franc icewine ($10 more expensive than their usual icewines) on the list, which is just over board. Writing this as I'm finishing my tasting, not impressed the fact that they reused the wine glasses as well for the tastings.
Nice experience once I finally got to the bar - this place was super busy and it took far too long to get served. Also, while the bar staff were kind and enthusiastic, I found them much less knowledgeable and engaging than other stops.
magnificent place, friendly staff.
Thanks to Jake and the rest of staff at this cozy winery for making our experience memorable. To anyone planning a visit, try the premium flights.
Had a nice tasting experience here. The grounds are lovely and the staff is great, but we find this place is always very busy. Some of their wines are very good but priced a little higher than I would expect.
By far the best vineyard in the area! Ezra was so knowledgeable and was great on our group tour! We did a tasting and happily made some purchases on the way out! Also, there is a beautiful sitting area and oven pizza available for those looking for a spot to sit!
Best ice wine i have ever had. 100% recommend biking to and from your hotel, airbnb, etc.
(Translated) not too bad (Original) 그냥 그래요
Great ambience. Many differents types of wine. Specially ice wine was great. A sommelier was verry knowledgeable and was verry welcoming.
The wine tasting was just cringey and awkward - the staff gave off cold feelings which just made things worse. The amount of barrels and such were impressive, I suppose, but the smell was overwhelmingly horrible. The rest of the place was just dull.
We went there as part of self guided bike tour. This was the second out 5 wineries we visited. The place was crazy busy, but despite this all the staff we encountered was smiling, welcoming and friendly. The winery tour guide John was excellent. The tour was informative and entertaining. Will always go back when in Niagara region.
Great wine tasting
Have been visiting since the Fall of 1985... first tasted Ice Wine here. I've been a loyal and true ever since. Make a point of visiting Reif... beautiful! Friendly staff, great selections not found at the LCBO and wonderful prices of Award-winning wines. There are many wineries in the Niagara-on-the-Lake regions... Choose REIF if you're pressed for time. The great commercial Inniskillen Winery is right round the corner. Then drive up to Niagara On the Lake, or down the Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls, passing the parks and houses and enjoy the views. Reif has an outdoor Sensory Garden that will appeal to Gardeners and wine connoisseurs alike.
Busy place the time I went here, wonderful spot for Photos.
Poor staff knowledge on wine and spirts. Thick walled inappropriate "wine glasses". Not an inviting interior and all around a poor experience. Please educate your staff.
I've been drinking Reif wines, off and on, since visiting the estate three years ago. However, I returned Saturday Aug 30th to find the ambiance to be more like a shooter bar than a classy winery. It was disappointing to see some patrons (particularly pretty young females) given samples that were at least twice the amount of other paying customers. As they enjoyed the offerings, others could barely hear anything about the wines we were tasting. So much for living the "Reifstyle" if that's what it represents.

My girlfriend and I had a free wine tasting as part of a hotel package. We each got to try 3 different wines. There was a good selection and the server was helpful.

Where do I start. My lovely girlfriend and I tried to book our anniversary together on Niagara on the lake. We planned, budgeted, and worked out one magical weekend to celebrate together. My girlfriend try to make it a surprise and ended up paying over $120 for this experience, as she was pretty impressed by the description of the Apple cider, ice wine tasting, and 'sensory garden' experience. I thought we were in for a treat, and I was very, very, wrong. Upon entering the facility, we had to look for a server, and after five minutes we were quickly shown the door. We were asked to sit ourselves down in the so-called "Century Garden", which was nothing more than a few lawn chairs on some turf. Frankly it was a pretty cold November day, and the heating torch did not have a gas tank included. After a few more minutes, an employee came with a few cardboard boxes, and two paper cups. The server told us the drink was an ice wine and apple cider mix. This was not a 'tasting' experience, as I did not know which ice wine nor the look of the bottle, or even if it was included in the drink. Each cup was $12 as well, near the price of some tasting experiences at other wineries in the area. I only tasted the apple juice. We were also given a single pretzel ($12), with some mysterious sauces, as well as a charcuterie board ($40) that frankly was pretty good. It started to get so cold that we decided to migrate to a different table, all of them covered in trash. We had to clean it ourselves and move all of our contents – thankfully they were all in cardboard boxes for easy transport. By the end of this experience we were not amused, and we as we tried to talk to some of the servers we found the door was locked and they would not let us inside. After 10 minutes of waiting and watching everyone giggle inside, we were met by Erin who did not listen to our concerns and instead tried to justify her actions. We were not impressed, and convinced that this is by far the worst winery in Niagara Falls. Save your time, save your money, and save your sanity by not coming here.
Cute little place. Good Gamey Noir. We were a little rushed as we were seated late and the next reservation was already there.
A great selection of wines.. the staff are so welcoming and really knowledgable.. Ezra gave us some great insights on wines and guided us through very well. Love this place.. the ice wine is delicious
If I could give a lower rating .. I would !! Tried to irder somethibg to eat as my husband is diabetic and was not feeling well from wine tastings .. Paid for the food ( very few options which all pretty much consisted of pork ) .which we do not eat . so 25.00 for cheese , crackers and pickles ..which I waited 10 mins for and did not recieve . so i requested my money back , which was promptly placed in my hand wirhout a word , as she continued to serve drunk idiots , over making our food. Dont ask me about their wine cause I have no clue .we were with a wine tour and were not able to experience this place or tgeir wine at all . Bottom line .. Never again ! Off my list . Customer service is seriously lacking.
A favorite winery and a must stop on the Niagara Parkway. Thank you for your support of CCO.
We loved our wine tour and tasting here yesterday. Our guide was awesome and engaging and this place is down to earth - not pretentious like other wineries. Highly recommend the option to add cheese or charcuterie to your tasting!
The sensory garden is so goregous. I feel like I'm in Europe somewhere. The aroma of all the plants and the juicy burgers is just amazing. The wine is great too.
(Translated) It's okay (Original) 괜찮아요
My wife and I had reserved the Sensory Garden for a mid-afternoon glass of wine/pizza and we were placed on a picnic table out in the vineyard. Not exactly the romantic setting I was expecting (25th wedding anniversary weekend) and was really looking forward to being in the Sensory Garden. Also noticed there were open tables for two in the Sensory Garden. Pizza and wine were very good.

Freindly staff and Try the Vinea liqueur
One of my favorite wineries in the Niagara area. I'm a big fan of their Cab Merlot wine. The 2013 & 2015 version are highly recommend
Micheal was wonderful! He provided us suggestions based on our preferences! What a great winery!

Great place to have lunch and wine tasting ????
Great!
We did a tasting at Reif winery during Covid reopening. Although NOTL was extremely busy, the staff at Reif ensured all precautions and safety measures were being followed with everyone’s health in mind. I would booking your tasting a few days ahead as there were MANY people trying to get in for a tasting short notice. We did a regular tasting, a premium tasting and a cheese sample box (which I would skip on next time - although delicious, found it a touch over priced). Have always enjoyed visiting this winery every time we are in the area, pleasantly surprised with all the measures they’ve taken to keep everyone safe at this time.
Very friendly staff at the tasting counter. The wines were quite good.
visited this year the tasting was great the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful well worth the trip
Do your wine tasting in the chairs, add cheese, and take in the beautiful views while learning a lot of interesting things about this winery! We had Michael and he was so knowledgeable and easy going! Great place, purchased a lot of wine lol
Always a great time
This is a beautiful property with very kind and knowledgeable staff. Food available on property too. The wines are great!
Exceptional
Nice property with decent selection of wines. Great in hosting and rather entertaining wine tasting.
One of the best wine tasting experience in Niagara on the lake. We reserved our spot in advance for their vintage collection. We almost tried everything in their menu. Tasty wines pair with amazing local cheeses. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place, friendly and very informative customer service. Great and delicious products! Would and will always recommend to people who want to see a great winery!
We had an terrible experience. We booked a loft upstairs and due to the heavy traffic were late 30 min. Our time was from 2-3pm. They did not allow us to use the rest of our time. Instead they kept us for 20 min downstairs in a hot weather with little kid and after advised us that we lost our time and money but they gonna give me complimentary glass of wine. I prepaid $100 for cheese & meat plater + the wine tasting. They stared telling that they don't server all of these downstairs, so I have to ague asking at list for the cheese and meat that I already paid. They gave us table downstairs outside in a stinky corner. All experience was miserable. We even didn't want to stay. After we stopped at Jackson- Triggs and without any reservation had wonderful time on thier huge patio with winery view and life music. Do not even waste your time and money go directly to Jackson - Triggs!!!!
Fun time at tasting. George was great.
This is my first ever wine tasting tour and I really enjoyed it. It was a fun filled experience and I look forward to my next tour. We visited 4 wineries and the Reif is the one on top of my list. Diana knows her stuff and she's very entertaining. I like the way she presented the wines with a little bit of a story on the side. Very informative. Highly recommended from a newbie.

Was a great place
Fantastic experience, everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, great wine!!!
Winery with German roots. Great tastings paired with cheese and snacks. The surroundings are beautiful
Nothing special - the guy that poured our drinks (John) was awesome. However, no story or background on the winery itself, really busy. I got the feeling that it was more "here's the wine, what do you think?". There's no price labels on anything. It's a recognizable winery, but ego seems to have gotten the best of them.
Omg, can we talk about how amazing Emily is?? We had a *phenomenal* experience visiting Rief Estates today thanks to Emily's conversation, wine knowledge and guidance. Walked away with some amazing bottles for the cellar, and will definely be back!
Lovely place! Great Ice Wine.
Great wine! The Merlot and Cab Sauv were my favourites!
Service was AMAZING!! Diana went above and beyond when she offered to let us buy a bottle of wine …. Even when they were closed after the storm …. We had travelled from Whitby to spend the night in Niagara Falls. Wine was lovely and we will 100% be back for a tour in the summer . Thank You
Was excited to come here after hearing so many good things but was disappointed. The garden where you eat is very cramped. We ordered the charcuterie board and for $40 it was very disappointing. Will not be coming back here
Fantastic service, atmosphere and wine!
Love this place. Great staff with excellent wines. Crosses all price points with exceptional bang for the buck.
Friendly staff amazing wine beautiful property to walk around on
Always enjoy visiting this winery. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable. Tasted a delicious grape liqueur (Vinea) had to buy a couple of bottles!!
You cannot come here without trying the ice wine!!
This is a very beautiful winery. Very much enjoyed some of the seasons wine selections . The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a future stop on the bike route.
Had a wonderful experience doing a tasting with cheese pairings. Kristin and Jacob provided an enjoyable experience and we had a great time. They were very knowledgable
We went to several wineries in the area and this tasting/tour was by far the best. There were only the 2 of us and our guide Tyler. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the estate. As a history buff I was impressed! Great wine too.
My wife and I, together with another couple, had a lovely lunch at Reif on Monday. Each couple split a Guilty Burger, which was delicious, and we each had a glass of fine wine. Really great ambience, service and food.
Had awesome time tasting during Mardi Gras. Great set up and food pairing with friendly and informative staff! Great deals on wine!

Very beautiful grounds and winery. The ice wine is to die for. We were supposed to have a tour to see how the wines are made but they started the tour before our group arrived so we didn't get to tour...a bit disappointing.
This place is so friendly and definitely worth the stop if doing a self guided tour. The staff were very knowledgeable and very friendly. Beautiful decor and well maintained.
Thank you George for amazing experience
This is a nice location winery, and the taste of the wife was ok too. The main issue was, they had no respect for us!! We went there with a tour, and somehow we felt that they don’t like us to be there, because we are with the tour!!! They asked us to stay out, because we were there a bit early (which I understand, due to the COVID). But then, after 5 min the asked us to leave their nicer patio, and go sit further back in the middle of their trees, while the rest of the costumers could wait on the patio with no issue!!! Then after waiting for half an hour, we could go in and tested three samples. My wife and I wanted to buy more premium wines, so we asked for more testing to make up our minds. They basically, asked us to leave the building, going back and wait on their patio for another half an hour, to be allowed back in!!! I’m not too sure what kind of arrangement the tour has with these wineries, but if the winery doesn’t like the tour, they just shouldn’t allow them in. Not that treating these customers with lower priority. It was the worst behavioural experience we had among all 5 wineries we visited during the day, and I would defiantly not recommending them.
Unforgettable place. I had the opportunity to see it just after snowing and it was beautiful. Wine is great and staff is helpful.
This was our first stop on my husband's birthday wine tour and needless to say that it started on a great note! We had Patrick helping us with our tasting. He was light hearted, funny and patient with us. He is knowledgeable and gave great descriptions on the wines that we have chosen, it looked effortless. It was easy to vouch for the wines since they were all a hit one after the other. Nothing overly sweet, and well balanced. Will definitely return again.

A great place for wine tasting!
Organised tour / tasting of Reif Winery and store Saturday 5th May, 2018. Very nice, with excellent and knowledgeable staff member.
So beautiful
Amazing experience , we went on a wine tour this was one of our stops by far the best, such a beautiful location and icewine is amazing!
Great time. ????
Had a wonderful time at Reif Estate. I especially love the hands on tasting of the grape varietals!!
I’ve been to NOTL often and must say the staff here are by far the most friendly and professional I have come across in the entire region. We were greeted and sat with all the COVID measures being respected. Michael was our sommelier for our tasting and he was spectacular! He had deep knowledge of the 3 different wines we had each and knew exactly what to pair them with. He was attentive, friendly and you could tell he was passionate about his job. We enjoyed the wines but the service even better. Thanks for making this not-so-normal time feel “normal” and welcoming. 10/10 service!
What a beautiful place. We had a nice tour, they explained all process and tried their wine. John did an amazing job. Thanks for everything!
Visited Reif for a tasting + tour last week and it was okay - nothing to write home about and nothing outstanding. Since we had selected the tour, we waited outside in the gazebo. However, the wine cups we were to be using, we all outside in an uncovered basket. All the wines were prechosen and predetermined prior to your tour, without any live feedback / optionality during the tasting. Personally, I'd be more inclined to try a different tour / tasting from the multitude of wineries around NOTL next time.
Great service. Knowledgable and polite staff. Great garden to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! This winery was one of our stops on a self-guided bike tour for my friends Bachelorette Party in August. We were kindly greeted and served by Jake [the one that looks like Dave Franco - lol]. He was very knowledgeable about the wine and was patient with us as we tasted our wine and carried on laughing louder than we probably should have been in a fancy place - we were already slightly tipys from the previous 4 stops. I'm sorry this review took so long Jake, I hope you're there when we venture back next year! You Rock!
I booked this winery for my Mums birthday as she was visiting from the U.K. We had a lovely fall day full of colour, the tour was neither too short or too long and promptly on time (although we were a few minutes late). We were accommodated and the service was very friendly. I would highly recommend for a very relaxed wine tour.
Some of the best food in the Niagara Region that I have had. Not a big menu but just the right size. The. Wine slushies are perfect for a hot day
I hosted a wine tour with 14 of my closest friends on Saturday... we were delighted with our Wine Consultant Michael. He was SO informative and FUNNY!!! our group enjoyed the wine and the commentary. This was my second trip to Reif, the wine never disappoints; I ended up buying 4 bottles recommended by Michael. We will be back again soon - and we will be requesting Michael. 13 <3
Great winery, had a wonderful wine tasting. The staff were very helpful and there is a gift wrapping station if you need to wrap the wine. In addition to wine they also sell chocolates and ice wine truffles.
Definitely worth taking the time to stop at this winery. Excellent staff, the best wine and great atmosphere.
Amazing Place. Everyone is super nice. The wine is very good.
(Translated) Tasty wine. Especially Riesling and Icewine. Shop with a large selection of own wines. (Original) Вкусное вино. Особенно Рислинг и Айсвайн. Магазин с большим выбором собственных вин.
If there was a 0star I'd give it that due to the fact they refused to give us the tasting we had already paid for on our tour. It was not the 1st stop so we had already a couple tastings but we were in not drunk just excited to have a private tour. When we walked in a couple of the girls were dancing but in no way were we in appropriate but the girl called the smart serve on us instead of giving us a warning they told us to leave! even our limo driver was confused and said he will never recommend that place again
Great wine tasting experience here.
Horrible place! My wife went on a Korean group tour of 54 people a week ago and the only Korean employee (named Chloe) treated them like beggers looking for a sip of free wine. It was a humiliating experience! Instead of explaining the ice wine concept, she only emphasized how much that wine cost in Korea. She was rude and has a serious attitude problem. After the wine tasting tour, everyone felt so humiliated. They didn't go there looking for verbal abuse but that's what they got.
Great cheese and very knowlegeable staff!
Thank you Ezra for the tour, very informative. Thank you Reif Estate for thinking about us EV drivers also by providing charging stations. Great service from all staff, very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful place.

We and our friends had a very enjoyable time. Our server George was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the 25 min premium tasting experience.
Been their for wine tasting. It was part of our trip to Niagara falls..we had fun ,its not expensive. They are maintaining all the covid-19 standards. you will have fun ..
Came here for a vineyard tour in early Nov. Biased because the weather was so incredible but the tour was lovely and interesting and the wines were delicious. Beautifully designed space, beautiful trees, and friendly staff.
An amazing estate with great history and atmosphere. We keep coming back for their unique, high quality wines. I've visited numerous wineries and estates and for me Reif is #1
Best winery in Niagara! The only one that does an actual tour during the covid. Thanks to Tyler he was a great host and it was really interesting. Good wines and good cheese combo
(Translated) Their wines are very good, especially ice wine. I have won awards. I highly recommend buying ice wine. (Original) 他们家的酒很赞,尤其是冰酒,得过奖,强烈推荐买冰酒
Reif icewine is one of my favourites. I always buy it for gifts from Canada and it never cease to amaze.
This was the best winery experience I have ever had. The staff (we had Michael lead our tasting) were SUPERB! He was so fun and knowledgeable about the wines, and the wine making process. We participated in the Vintage collection tasting paired with cheese and charcuterie boxes - both of which I HIGHLY recommend. The wines themselves were INCREDIBLE! We ended up buying several bottles each, as this was some of the BEST wine I have ever had. I have already told all of my family and friends about how amazing this winery was, and will definitely be going back again.
WOW! Delicious wines and knowledgeable staff
Lovely sensory garden where we enjoyed great wine by the glass and delicious meals. One of the oldest wineries.
Beautiful winery with exceptional service!
This is by far my most favorite winery in Niagara especially because of their tastiest ice wine!
We added a tasting to our schedule at the last minute and I'm so glad we did. Their staff were excellent - knowledgable, patient with our many questions, and introduced us to some really interesting wines.

Exceptional service and great wine experience. Also offer a beautiful Historic Bed & Breakfast right on the property that is a once in a lifetime experience... Your spouse will love it...
A beautifully scenic vineyard with very knowledgeable sommeliers and great wine. They also produce great cider beer!
Personable, experienced and 5 star quality treatment of guests. Michael and Emily were fantastic in their roles.
The wine tasted great but the service at the bar wasn't that great. The estate is beautiful though.
An outstanding German Winery in Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful location. Excellent wine. Friendly owner. Thanks Klaus for a wonderful afternoon.
Friendly knowledgeable staff with plenty of selection for wine tasting - great relaxed environment. Thanks again. Loved their sparkling wine and their red selection. One of my favourite wineries to pop in to

We had a very nice time here. They offer blind tastings of four wine for $15, and they do a good job of it: with opaque glasses, a scorecard, and helpful staff. You can add a cheese tray for $10 and this was very good. None of us were oenophiles but we had a good time and learned something.
The Reif Estate winery was delicious! I visited this winery while on a tour, and their ice wine is so delicious I even bought a bottle to take back. Ice wine is usually very expensive but their’s is well priced, so if you’re looking to buy some I recommend you get it here. The staff here is really friendly as well. I also like how well-kept the entire estate was.
Randomly stopped in here while driving, ended up really like this place. Would go back again.
Such a wonderful tasting great staff and great wines. A must do winery in Niagara on the Lake Thank you Chloe, Jen and Kerrin for making my day! I will be back soon
We loved this winery so much we visited twice during our stay in Niagara! Their white wines are absolutely amazing!! We loved their Kerner reserve and Riesling! Jake, our server was so nice and helped explain everything so well. He was courteous, welcoming and very patient! Thanks so much for an awesome Niagara experience Jake!! We found evey time that we visited, all the staff were so nice and the wines were excellent. You should definitely come stop by on your trip to Niagara! We highly recommend it!!!
I visited Reif on Friday August 20 with my husband, mother in law, and father in law. We arrived on time for our 5:15 tasting experience, we had to wait a few minutes before being greeted but nothing ridiculous. We were seated and our server came over and introduced himself. I wish I could remember his name, he was amazing and I would have liked to given him a shout out. He was very personable, friendly, and accommodating. He got us all waters as it was super hot, and we got started with the tasting. He was very knowledgeable with the wines and varietals used in each one, we discussed the differences between the roses and he was helpful when we were selecting our tasting choices. He was working between us and another group but we could hardly tell, he was very attentive. The wines themselves were very good and we made a purchase at the end that reflected all of their amazing options. On our way out the winemaker or owner (not sure which one) was walking by with 2 ladies he was giving a tour to, and he stopped to comment on a couple things we purchased. It was a nice personal touch that we appreciated. We will definitely be back to this winery again!
This was so bad we will be making jokes about it for years. The “charcuterie board” was a cardboard box with two pieces of bread and grocery store meat. The bartender seemed really confused of how to pour a tasting wine tray. The “winery games” was a bean bag toss that people who didn’t reserve it just walked up and played. AVOID THERE ARE MANY OTHER GREAT PLACES IN THE AREA.
It’s way too busy and they’re understaffed. There is better wine in better locations. I feel sorry for the staff.
Reif Estate Winery is the oldest family owned winery in the region. Mr Reif came from Germany in 1976 and bought 125 acres of land. Next year he planted vines brought from back home where his family was making wine since 1636. It took about 5 years to have the first vintage. Here they are growing 18 types of grapes and as of now they are making about 30 to 40 types of wines. They are the pioneers of ice wine in the region, for which they are getting awards every year. This year they got the Canadian wine producer award for 2017. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Fantastic people and delicious wine!
For my first wine tour and tasting, a great experience! The tour was informative but not boring, and we learned enough and drank enough that it was still fun! The restaurant food was great, but a little pricey. The burgers are good, but the pizzas were great. Wine by the glass is very reasonably priced- get a refill, it’s worth it :) That staff is so sweet and knowledgeable, we will definitely be back :)
My fiancé and I visited Reif to tour our rehearsal venue, the barrel room! We were so incredibly happy with Lyndsay and her ability to help us plan our special event. After our tour she introduced us to the most amazing guy...George! He filled our minds with incredible knowledge of all their wines, helped us choose our favourites, and made us laugh with his wit and charm. He convinced us that we definitely chose the right winery! Now we can’t wait for August to arrive.
Incredible experience. Thank you Kami and the rest of the staff for making our little girls birthday so special. I highly recommend this place. What a great experience!
Great tour. John was super and made tour fun and interesting. Thanks
Wanted to give 4 star for Jeff's amazing service, but taking 2 stars off for rude behavior of receptionist Cory. This winery is popular in the area. They have variety of wines and available for wine tasting/selling. Recommend to reserve the spot rather walk-in. We came for wine tasting and tried their Premium and Back Vintage tasting experience. They have selection of wines in each category and type. Their Vidal Ice Wine (Dessert Wine) won many awards which is a must to try. Jeff assisted us for wine tasting. He had lot of knowledge. He was also easy to talk with and get some knowledge on wines made/food itnwould go with/tastes to check while tasting. He was wonderful. Ask for him if you can. Coin has two sides. Bad experience was at reception. We arrived late by 5 mins. And, receptionist Cory would not allow us for our wine tasting experience. We were late by 5 mins due to 3 accidents on the way which caused traffic. We had paid approx $100 for tasting experience for 4 ppl. He said that he couldn't do anything and money is gone. We had to mentioned that even receipt says in T&C that timing can be accommodate if you were late. At last, I had to say that I will dispute your transaction with credit card company and you won't receive money. Then he agreed and accommodate us for the same day. Just to get fact straight wine tasting is a private experience at this winery and NOT group tasting experience. So didn't know why he was so adamant. We overheard him saying to the next colleague, "that's how we can make profit and run business. We shouldn't allow everyone who had reserved." Not sure what he meant. But, those were his words.
Lovely gardens..Kami was very helpful with our tasting selections. Try the Magician!
Our service was inintentive and uninterested. I felt very "big-timed" while there and the cheese box was $6 for 3 pieces of small cheese. Not recommended.
Went for wine tasting, was full. Called following morning to reserve, "no reservation, first come first served". Come early afternoon, place is completely empty but "fully booked with reservation for the day". Try to make sense of that... by far the most unwelcoming winery in the area
Great place .... beautiful. Nice wines....our guide/wine sommelier Gus was helpful and knowledgeable
Beautiful winery. The sensory bar is an amazing experience. Herb was very knowledgeable about the wines, glasses, and taught us so much about how to really enjoy the local wines. We would highly recommend this winery and the sensory bar to anyone.
Always awesome wine and vine!
Wine was good, I bought a couple bottles. Host was not friendly and made it seem like a huge inconvenience that we were there at all. He was not helpful and unfortunately soured the tasting experience.
Reif was one stop on our Sunday winery tour, and it was by far the best. EZRA did a great job of leading our tasting and teaching us about the history of the vineyard and the wines.
My husband and I were on a five winery tour (through Viator) and Reif Winery was the second last winery. Ezra was our host and he was marvellous. He was very knowledgeable and had a great report with the group. Reif was our favourite winery...we purchased all three wines we tasted. It was such a lovely day. Thanks.

Nice visit, beautiful estate
Great atmosphere and good selection of white wine. They are known for their white wines and ice wine and they did not disappoint.
I've been going here for years now. Great atmosphere. The wine I like is the hanging man and the fool. Its released at this time of year and sells out fast. Its a great red and white combination for dinners.
Amazing wine and great service. Recommend the sensory wine tasting experience.
First visit to the winery. Easy to find. Ample parking. Very nice facility. We were pleasantly greeted upon entry and directed to the tasting bar. Our host Amy was spectacular. We have been to just over 100 Ontario wineries and our experience at Reif ranks right near the top. Amy and her coworkers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. We were expertly guided through the wines, crafted in a wide array of styles from numerous different varietals. Any wine drinker should be able to find at least a couple of wines much to their liking. Amy spoke about every wine in detail, describing their characteristics and vinification, all the while providing anecdotes and stories much to our amusement and enjoyment. We will surely be returning to Reif as soon as we can to enjoy more wines and outstanding customer service.

Mixed feelings. Went for a wine tasting a while back. The gentleman that served my guests and I was so nice, friendly and great! He was young, dark hair and wore glasses. He gets 5 stars! The problem and 0 stars is for the girl working with him. Her face is not memorable, so I am unsure how to describe her except as young, pale and unfriendly with brownish/blondish hair. The only memorable thing about her was her attitude. She interrupted the guy serving us to tell him he was pouring too much in a rude and chastising tone (he wasn't). The amount he was pouring was standard and I don't know who she is or thinks she is, but I don't like how she talked to the employee. He was a nice young man to us and very professional. I thought she was unprofessional towards the employee and it was very rude to mention this in front of customers. It made her look stingy and in poor taste on behalf of the winery and last I checked wine tastings aren't free, so I'm sure this male employee was well trained on how much to pour. She also was not friendly towards us and gave us somewhat judgmental looks from her beady eyes. Clearly she has some kind of complex and many insecurities, but she shouldn't take it out on good employees or customers. The guy serving us made me stay and purchase wine to support his effort, but the girl should do everyone a favour by staying out of all customers' sight and minding her own business as she does not have a professional attitude and she tarnished my experience.
Have been visiting Reif for over 20 years. The evolution of the winery has been great to see. Great visit this week with family. We enjoyed a great lunch on their patio and their deep bold red wines. A must visit
Visit yesterday end of day. 5h30 we were 15 guests and we hardly had 1 ounce of wine per tasting. Very very disappointing. From Montreal and cannot go through 1 bottle of wine with 15 guests!! Not impressed. How can you promote your wine. The ice wine hardly moist my palette
The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service and very good wines, try the cheese and meat pairings
Herb is Great, I have a lot of fun!
Excellent estate to taste and purchase wine. We really enjoyed the tasting bar and the setting. Definitely worth visiting!

Awesome wine. Our tour guide - John - was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable about the area and Reif. Highly recommend!
Very nice winery, but the group tasting wasn't really well handled .. a little offhand, and just the lower-end wines.
Came here on a self guided tour with zoom. The facility itself is very nice. Our server, Ezra, was great in explaining the different wines to us. He was knowledgeable and made our experience worthwhile.
First time doing a tasting bar. Tried the wine and cheese tasting course and definitely found a couple new favourite wines! The older gentleman who was helping us was so informative and nice. To be honest, all of the staff encountered were very educated and informative - was really impressed by that. Never drank Reif before, but definitely became a fan after this visit.
Friendly
OMG! WOW! Customer service was through the roof! Lovely red haired lady from Pittsburgh took amazing care of us. Amazing wine tasting. Came in with NO expectations and bought 4 Delicious bottles of wine. Went to all the top wineries at NOL. This was DEFFINETLY our most favorite memory and experience!
Just beautiful and enjoyable. You can actually sip your wine while sitting. Fun fact, if you have a wonderful sense of humor, ask for Keith, you wont regret it.
The wine here was not great and there were fruit flies everywhere and the service was not great either. We went because no one else had any openings. I really do not recommend
Amazing wines and amazing and gracious people
Great product. We shared our first bottle of Reif wine 44 years ago and have been enjoying various strains ever since. Our favourite choices.
We had a great time doing the wine tasting here, Neil was very knowledgable on wine pairings and wine etiquette! We learned a lot of new things!
Excellent wines and very knowledgeable person doing our pours.
Best and cheapest wine tastings out of the wineries I visited. I tried the more expensive, bold reds and the vidal icewine and all of them were really good. The people at the tasting bar were all very informative and poured generously.
Ok place for tasting, the wine was nothing special however and our tasting server disappeared halfway through the tasting which was a bit awkward
Very impressed with the amazing customer service from Carol. Some of the other wineries might want to learn a thing or two from her. Thank you Carol. I bought more than intended ????. Plus their wine is excellent. Im excited for November when they release 'The Fool '
One of the best wineries in the region. Reid Estate Winery is the oldest family owned winery in Niagara on the Lake region. Very well known especially for their Ice wine for which they are getting awards every year.
I had the best experience at this winery. I have been to many winery’s in Niagara and nothing has ever compared to the experience our group had here. Our server Michael was the most informative and helpful individual. We were a group of 4 and whenever an individual could not decide on a wine, Michael always had a suggestion to make. We can’t wait to come back here!
Family run winery. Very educational tour that you can take at 3 different times throughout the day. They have a sensory garden that is thoughtful and nice. It is bit small but cool. I'm a bold red guy (napa style) which you wont get in thos region, so respect what they do here. Which is ice wine and they do it very well... Love this place.
The best winery in Niagara! The wine tour was amazing and Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable! I will recommend this place over and over!
Terrible service. We sat down at the back side of the bar, were you can order different boards. There were 2 older men working that side of the bar, one had his back turned to the customers leaning on the bar, and the other was facing him, talking, and sipping on wine. We waited for 10 minutes constantly making eye contact with them, to try to order. At the 10 minute mark, the on man who had been sipping on the wine decided to take 2 steps to his right to were we were. I told him that we had decided to leave, and that we would make sure to leave them a review. I apologised for taking him away from his conversation with the other employee. I am sure this is an exception, and that the service must be better there from other staff. Service at the other wineries was phenomenal, noting, Two sisters, Lailey, Inniskilin, and Trius.
Awesome service! Amazing atmosphere. Would rate much better than Iniskillin
They were very organized and quickly got us in and out! Michael was exceptional help brought the cases right to the trunk
Very nice!
Excellent
Very informative tour and nice selection of wines at a pleasantly lower than expected cost.
Wow,what a excellent winery, they win 1st price for ice wine in London 2019..we try the wine, and is above expectations..❤????

A beautiful location and the wine slushies were so delicious! We cant wait to visit again! We sat outside for lunch and our only complaint was it was so chaotic to place an order and the poor servers seemed so frustrated.

Lovely reception with great wine and friendly service! New liqueur on product line is fabulous on ice or with a cuvee splash for a spritzer! Hello summer!
Best winery experience in Niagara.
Amazing place.
Great tastings, good service, amazing wine!
Despite having reservations we had to wait an additional 15mins. Usually not a big deal but it was a super hot day (38C) and we had biked there. No offer of water and since we were going to multiple wineries it was important to keep on schedule. Once we got in the hostess (of her own volition) acknowledged the delay and offered us complementary cheese pairing. We thought that was awesome and all was forgotten. Unfortunately the promised cheese pairing never materialized. Needless to say very disappointing. Good wine though!
An outstanding German Winery in Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful location. Excellent wine. Thanks Herb for a wonderful service and excellent advice.
Great wine however guy there did not seem to want to introduce his wines and story behind it. Seemed in a rush to put away our unfinished flight of wines.
Great experience. Very knowledgeable!

Very beautiful grounds and winery. The ice wine is to die for. We were supposed to have a tour to see how the wines are made but they started the tour before our group arrived so we didn't get to tour...a bit disappointing.
Wine tour at Reif Estate with John was fantastic. John is very knowledgeable and wines were top knotch. We especially enjoyed the cabernet merlot and icewine. We will return next time we come back to Niagara on the Lake. I am not surprised that it's an award winning winery! We have visited many wineries in the Niagara on the Lake area but this one was most impressive to us.
Excellent customer service, and wine
Nice tour and tasting
Michael was very friendly and seated us and Jake was full of knowledge about each wine. They have delicious icewines and fruity wine, had a wonderful visit.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fantastic wine. Thanks, John.
Service was AMAZING!! Diana went above and beyond when she offered to let us buy a bottle of wine …. Even when they were closed after the storm …. We had travelled from Whitby to spend the night in Niagara Falls. Wine was lovely and we will 100% be back for a tour in the summer . Thank You
Excellent excellent excellent! My wife and I did a flight of 4 wines, 2 whites a red and an ice wine along with a cheese pairing. Both the wines and cheeses were amazing and our experience was like a nice romantic private date. Our bartender (John) made it very personal and informative as well.
Love it, great atmosphere, awesome people.
Visited Reif Estate Winery Saturday 27 March 2021 and was very impressed with how Covid safe it was. We booked a wine tasting tour which included a private room. Jeff was our host and we were really impressed with his knowledge and friendliness. Controls were practical and well deciplined to ensure physical distancing and occupancy mandates were respected. The staff were amazing and will return again.
We had a great tasting session with John! He was knowledgeable and fun!
It was a fun experience to walk through this vineyard. It felt so refreshing looking at the fresh grapes hanging around. We took the wine tour wherein the entire wine making process was explained beautifully including the strategic location of the vineyards at Niagara. We got to taste few wines brewed at the winery. We also bought wines at cheaper rates especially my favourite Ice wine.
We had an amazing time at our tasting with George he was fantastic! He is funny, nice and very helpful in explaining the drinks. We had a great time with him ???? Reif was the only place in our winery stops that explained the drinks to us and we really appreciated that! The drinks are good and service was great! We also appreciate the level of covid prevention Reif has taken as well. We will be back again !!!
The best wines you’d find at Niagara! What an extensive collection and amazing selections! John kept showing us the “specials” as soon as he realised we were wine connoisseurs who knew our wines well and were exposed to wines from different countries. Appreciated that a lot! I’m really honest about it - the whites, the reds, the sweets, the specials - everything was so good that we ended up buying nearly a dozen bottles between two persons. Highly recommend The Magician and the 2009 Kiln Dried Cabernet. And ask for John!
This was our favourite stop on our Winery Guys tour. Mainly due to Gus (hope we got the name right, it's been 2 weeks). Our private winery tour led by Gus was super informative and his passion for wine and food made me wish he'd invite us over for dinner, or at the very least extend our tour a bit. You could tell Gus loves what he does which made the entire experience that much better. Oh ya, and the wine was great too.
Great gem of a winery. Enjoyed a glass in the garden and their patio. Very nice .
Excellent time again!!+!
(Translated) Very good wines, but the whole shell a bit weak. Information over the phone that a reservation is not needed, but on the spot that, of course, you have to. And, unfortunately, not much, apart from the standard formula, we learned about wines or the place (Original) Wina bardzo dobre, jednak cała otoczka trochę słaba. Przez telefon informacja że rezerwacja nie potrzebna, natomiast na miejscu, że oczywiście że trzeba. Jak również niestety nie wiele poza standardową formułką się dowiedzieliśmy o winach czy miejscu

What a horrible experience. After visiting so many Niagara wineries, none treated us this horribly. We entered to shop and waited 20 minutes without anyone even welcoming us. It was not busy, there were only two other customers. I would skip this one, there are so many others who are friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic Winery, wonderful staff and great place to visit..and the wine is amazing. Totally worth the visit
Outstanding!
Kami is the bomb. Great atmosphere, great staff
Thank you Genevieve!
The wine taste cost $12 for 3 glasses (similar to a shot glass) The ice wine for all three was delicious and their best seller was high in sugar but 10/10.
We were very impressed with Reif Winery. Have been driving past it for 10 years to go to other wineries in the area. We dropped in to check it out and it was beautiful inside. Wine tasting gentleman was friendly and knowledgeable. Huge area for tastings. Very happy we dropped in.
They clearly value your time and want to make your visit a great experience. Recommended.
Excellent service, even though we arrived without an appointment they accommodated us without problem. We had a little lunch in the restaurant, the food was very fresh and delicious, we liked the white wines specially.
Jacob a was a great host !
Highly recommend dining. Food was good, wine was good, ambience was good. Staff were a delight. Would definitely come back.
Our hostess Amy was amazing and couldn't be more helpful and knowledgable ...highly recommended.
Loved it. Gus, our host has an excellent knowledge of his craft and Guilty Burger delivers as well.
Introduced to a totally new type of red wine. Great wine tasting
Had a wonderful tour of Reif Estate yesterday for my partner’s birthday. We first heard about this winery a few days prior when we had a delicious Reif Pinot Grigio on a lunch patio in Port Dalhousie. We knew then that this wine was something special, and so we just had to go! We booked on a Monday afternoon, so it ended up being just us with our guide and he was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, charming, and you could tell he values the legacy and history of this vineyard. We added the small cheese and charcuterie add on to our wine tasting tour and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and portions of each. Learning about the rich family history of this particular vineyard added that much more body to the flavor of the wines. They were delicious, and we really enjoyed our time here. A classy, quality, and unpretentious establishment with deep roots in winemaking and truly excellent wines. We cannot wait to come back again soon.
Great wine tour. The staff was very respectful and covid-19 measures in place making it comfortable for us to enjoy the wine and the wine tour.
In an area with countless excellent wineries Reif Estate goes above the crowd with a wonderful selection and atmosphere. 5/5 Highly recommend the Riesling and Ice wines for fans of sweet selections.

Very good experience of wine tasting and the staff representative was very knowledgeable on the wines ????
Best winery all day!!
Very good wines for under $20. Nice to see the grapes on the vines along the parking lot.❤
Marissa was great and very helpful !
Visited Nov 27 for Taste the Season. Reif is always a go to for us and they definitely didn’t disappoint. To the point that all 3 couples in our group joined their wine club. Their wine is always unique and tasty. The Magician is a particular favourite and we always try to buy a few when it is released. Highly recommend Reif over the bigger corporate wineries in the region.
Ways very good
Why on the lcbo website does it claim that your wines are vegan but google says it's not?
Reif Winery great place people I take there on wine tours seam to like it. I like to take the guests there it's a good atmosphere and the staff very good so is the wine. .

Polite staff. Wine tasting experience not to expectations. Wines are tasty, however, same glass used for each tasting. Rinsed with wine when asked...but how can you truly showcase your wine if the glass is contaminated?
Great place to pick up some wine. They have smaller ice wine bottles if you looking for a less pricy gift. Tastings always well put together. We had the pleasure of being served by Harley and honestly it was top three tastings I have ever done and I have done a large number over the years! Keep it up :)
This is a very beautiful winery. Very much enjoyed some of the seasons wine selections . The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a future stop on the bike route.
Always welcoming and delicious wine. If you are in the area this is the one winery you should go to. Best winery in the area hands down.
Four friends and I did five wine tastings in NOTL a few weeks ago—Reif was by far our favourite! Not only was the wine fantastic, Jeff made the experience extra special and had us laughing the whole time. Would highly recommend you add Reif to your itinerary when you’re in the area!
(Translated) Ice wine is really good. I want to come again next time^^~♡ (Original) 아이스와인 정말 맛있네요.다음에 또다시 오고 싶네요^^~♡
Reif Estate has become a "must-visit" any time we are in the region. Besides being just a lovely location Reif's selection of wines is outstanding. If you happen to be there when "The Magician" is available do yourself a favor and buy yourself a bottle or two.
Michael did a really fantastic job of giving us such a special feeling experience. I can imagine it must be hard to make guests feel like they are having a unique experience but he simultaneously gave me, as well as 2 desperate others groups different experiences, all at the same time! John also did a wonderful job at explaining processes in an interesting way and even allowed me to try a very special 10 year old bottle that I appreciated (it was a delicious FYI)! Thanks guys!
We had a really great time at this winery. It was the third stop on our bicycle wine tour, and it was so interesting! We got an intensive tour of this winery, the German culture and history of the company, and it really was SO interesting! The tour guide was knowledgeable and excited- she clearly loves her job, which I think makes a big influence on our experience. We got to see the worlds first wine influenced sensory garden, the aging and bottling components of the company and a whole lot of other things. We were even able to eat wine grapes from the vine! I highly recommend this tour.
LOVE this winery! Something for everyone and because they have so much variety! Delightful staff to make it a great tasting experience!
Michael was our tasting advisor and absolutely made it the best experience. We loved it. Conversation 10/10 Wine suggestions 10/10 Loveliness 10/10 Highly recommended
Every single time I head down to Niagara-on-the-lake I make sure to stop at Reif. With the most delicious ice wine I just can't resist. I have never had a bad experience and the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Looking forward to my next time! ????
Wine was okay. Ice wine was very good. Service was sub par. They also charge if you want to share a tasting and don’t want to order - $5 just for the chair..
One of the better tasting programs. Huge selection of varietals.
Our visit was wonderful with Jake. He was very welcoming and informative, and made us feel at ease during Covid. He made us a lovely concoction of the liqueur and sparkling wine that was something like I've never tasted before. We will definitely be back to visit again. Thanks Jake :)
Amazing wine, especially their ice wine. Jean-Pierre was a great and very knowledgeable host. Will return.
My girlfriend loved it so didn't I
I booked this winery for my Mums birthday as she was visiting from the U.K. We had a lovely fall day full of colour, the tour was neither too short or too long and promptly on time (although we were a few minutes late). We were accommodated and the service was very friendly. I would highly recommend for a very relaxed wine tour.
Amazing experience I have been to this estate for the last 3 years and every time its as enjoyable if not better every time.

(Translated) The young guide was very aggressive, during the tasting, she whistled in the room as to call animals / attract the attention of a group of children, 4 times. Not once ... but 4 !! We were not more than 15 people, adults .. That ruined my experience 100%. On a more positive point, very good ice wine parcontre .. but only this one guide would not make me return. Disappointing and very nasty as attitude towards the visitors. Sur un point plus positif, très bon vin de glace parcontre.. mais seulement cette seule guide ne me ferait pas retourner. Décevant et très fachant comme attitude envers les visiteurs.
Good wine, no doubt about it. But it wasn’t the experience I was waiting for, maybe because it a middle to large size winery and owners are not around.
Very nice place, great wine selection. A classic Canadian winery.
Wonderful service and wines! An all around enjoyable experience with knowledgeable staff and delicious offerings. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I recently visited the winery and restaurant and had a wonderful time. The wine was great and food was absolutely delicious! The garden area is really beautiful and feels like you are in a European garden oasis. We both got the Guilty Burger and it was INCREDIBLE! They even have gluten free bread options. Penny the amazing chef was so kind and accommodating with my gluten allergy. We loved it so much we went back the following day for more wine, burgers and the beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting! :)
nice building to shop in with a good bar for tastings, not a full "wine tour" experience though so it's good as a stop if you're spending a few days in wine country but I wouldn't make it your only stop. Very nice property across the street from the canal though
(Translated) Superb tasting, with magnificent wine! John served us and his welcome and kindness were excellent !! If you go, ask to be served by him, but I'm sure the others are very good too. (Original) Superbe dégustation, avec du magnifique vin! John nous a servi et son acceuil et sa gentillesse étaient excellents!! Came here as part of a self guided bike tour. This was by far one of our favorites in the area as far as “ambiance” went. The little patio tucked in the vineyard was a great space to sit and relax with a glass or two of wine. This winery also had the most unique wines we tasted on this day. It was the only winery we were sold on buying a bottle! Great prices for a fantastic product as well!
Especially ice wine is good taste.
It was my first visit to this winery this past weekend. Not only is it gorgeous, but the staff are incredible. From the moment I arrived, staff were present, able to answer all my questions, and the guided tasting led by the amazing Diana was entertaining and informational. Thank you, Diana for the unforgettable experience! I hope so be back soon.
Fantastic! The had the best wines on our tour and the absolut best staff! Michael, our sommelier/guide was fantastic and was able to tell us a lot about the estate, the wines and the tasting. Also he was super fun. We had a great time there!
Awesome George was great nice to see Klaus
Great attention to detail!
Michael was amazing and made our experience! 10/10 recommend him for a tasting and excellent photographer ????
Has a very cute and comfortable patio and food was pretty good overall. Their pizza was super good. Their rose wine was very good with food.
