This is one of the oldest wineries in the region. I found that staff here are super friendly and knowledgable. Tasting fees are also good and their wines are unique, unlike others. Love this place.

My Husband and I are from a small town in Western Maryland, USA. We visited your Winery, June 1, 2013 on our Honeymoon. This was our "First Real Visit" to Canada. Neither of us even thought about International Border Restrictions on Alcohol. I found your 2011 Cab Merlot to be one of the "Best Tasting Wines that I've ever Tasted!" Once we got home we realized that for such a special occasion, we should get online and order more for special anniversaries... :-( I found out that this wine is not available to be shipped into the US. I wish that sometime during our wine tasting, or during our purchasing process, the salesperson might have asked where we were from, we did mention that it was our Honeymoon! After finding out that it was a special occasion... or that we were from the US, a great selling point would have been to mention that we would not be able to order this wine online. I would have found out how to send it home or bought enough for Special, Future Anniversaries. I guess we'll just have to visit again, or find someone that will be visiting! Thank you so much for this truly "Fantastic Tasting Memory" and for making it so hard for me to try to stay away from my wine key!!!

This place has a groupon going that they refuse to honour. I understand if it's a Covid thing but remove the groupon. It says it's only good till Nov but they said on the phone I can use it until next year. If I bought it now I want it this year not next year. Stay clear these ppl are shady!!!!!

This is a friendly, small, no frills winery. They claim to be the oldest winery with the oldest grape ???? variety in the area. We did one tasting, the staff was nice and friendly. There was however the smell of bleach when we entered. Overall this is a non pretentious winery and the tasting was pretty cheap too.

Melissa was our lovely tour guide on our private tour. She was very informative, pleasant, and fun. We loved the tour of the grounds as much as the private tasting room where we were treated to tasting 5 different wine and food pairings of a selection of meats and cheeses, fruit and chocolate. Had the opportunity to have a tour and tasting and I absolutely loved it. Our guide Ting was very knowledgeable, friendly and a fantastic host. We learned a lot and had an amazing experience trying out the wine and ice wine selection here. This Winery has the best ice wine I've tasted - not overly sweet like other locations and just the right amount of taste. They also had a delicious red ice wine that tasted like a muted caramel flavour. I would definitely come back again and purchase more. It also isn't as busy here compared to the better known wineries in the area but it's a great hidden gem for a casual visit and tasting. I'd absolutely recommend a visit here if you're in the area.

Some of the oldest plantings of Chardonnay and Pinot in all of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Lailey Winery is a must-stop on the Niagara Parkway! The Lailey 2013 Vidal is my favourite! Do yourself a favour and pick up an award winning Icewine! I love the Chardonnay Icewine (that tastes like a buttertart!)

Lailey's modern tasting room is a refreshing change of pace from the area's penchant for rustic decor. I'm fond of red wines and enjoyed their new Malbec and Zweigelt. Easy to drink wines and reasonable prices make this winery a must see.

Lailey is a lovely winery. They have made a big extension to the tasting area and the totem poles on the property come straight from BC where the new owners are from. The wine has changed a bit since their takeover though, but we'll see what they can produce moving forward.

Very poor wine and very poor service. We did a group tasting here and it was without a doubt the worst of the lot in the region. Overall products and services were poor and the prices were higher than you would expect so it didn’t even feel like a value option. I would not recommend this place.

Recently visited Lailey on a wine tour. The glasses Staff we received were dirty and tasted like detergent (as well as other guests on the tour were complaining of this). For a wine sample we received only two types and pours with very small. Both wines we tasted were horrible (with multiple guests joking that tasting the detergent was a blessing which shielded us from the wine). Staff were unwelcoming and appeared uninterested in making the visit fun, nor were they interested in selling wine. My mother had bought 6 bottles at the previous winery we were at - she attempted to ask questions about the wine to the staff but after receiving an unfriendly response she decided it wasn't worth trying to spend money at Lailey. Of the 4 wineries we visited, this was by far the worst and is by far the worst I've ever been to.

My first visit to Lailey since 2014. While some things have changed, the quality wines and friendly service remain, much to my pleasure. I found some very enjoyable Sauvignon Blancs and a Gewürztraminer, grapes that I am not usually a big fan of. The 2014 Meritage was surprisingly ripe for the cool vintage. Goes to show that the winemaking team at Lailey know their stuff. Definitely going to make another visit, and not wait four years between like last time.

If you're coming to tour Wineries and you want to try some samples, skip this one and go somewhere else. $8 for 3 small samples is a lot in comparison to what you get somewhere else.

Lailey is on the Niagara River a short drive from downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is small compared to other vineyards in the area but has a respectable collection and an intimate, informative tasting experience. Love this winery, right down to the simple, elegant label. Will definitely visit again if the opportunity arises.

We were here for the Sip and Sizzle event this weekend. The wines all tasted off, none of the reds or whites jumped out to us. They didn't put a lot of thought into the pairing.

It was my first time coming here with some friends. We had our wine tasting and education with Sophia. Shes so funny, friendly and a free spirit. It was so easy to talk and joke with her, quite the people person. I recommend her if you book any tours at the winery. As for the tasting, we had a groupon and I was quite satisfied with the products that they had. I bought the 2013 chardonnay in oak, zweigelt and the white and red ice wine. I couldnt choose one as they were all so good. I'd definitely visit here again in the future ???? thanks again for the awesome time Sophia!

A few years back I had an unfortunate incident with somebody from Lailey's Winery while travelling along the Niagara Parkway. This fellow, who I since learned was a "management" person at Lailey's, flipped me off because I was travelling too slow for him and he raised his middle finger as he zoomed past me and then quickly turned into the winery driveway. At the time I owned one of the larger B&Bs in the town and it surprised both my wife and I that someone in the tourist industry would display this kind of ignorance and lack of respect for a tourist.....since he had no idea I wasn't. I informed a number of others within the B&B industry about the callous and low-brow behaviour he showed toward strangers and for many years we made sure our B&B guests gave this winery a miss. Too many businesses here feel that there are enough tourists around that they can treat them anyway they see fit!
