You have all the information of people who are using the products and services of Konzelmann Estate Winery (Winery) in Argentia (Canada).
At the present this business receives a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is basically the best, and it is founded on a very large number of reviews, so we can think that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are pleased, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery is included in the category of Winery.
Lovely place! Went to see and known that they do not have a restaurant. Must do: scenery pic of the whole vineyard overlooking lake Ontario.
Tour guide excellent, took plenty of time to answer questions. Wine excellent, their Ice wine particularly good.
Had an amazing time here last weekend. We took a tour with Simon and loved every minute of it! The wines were all delicious, and he even managed to get me to love the reds - which is not an easy feat. Simon really made our experience wonderful, and it's clear that he and everyone at Konzelmann really love what they do. I will be coming back to get more wine and to catch up!
2020.09.10. Today a special visit to Niagara on the Lake. The winery is "Konzelmann Estates Winery". We did wine tasting to 6 different wines. Merlot was my favorite. I tried the peach wine and the sparkling wine. The place is nicely decorated and well maintained. The store is elegant.if you take the wine tasting, you will get 5% discount on wine purchases.
Amazing no other word to describe it. We will be back.
Last week we enjoyed the experience of the dome!! It was so awesome to sit there overlooking the lake, and on the way there a bald eagle flew right in front of us. I would highly recommend this experience!! We have never done anything like this before, but will be sure to return!
Travelled to this beautiful estate to try the 'Dome Experience'. 10/10 would recommend! A wonderful private tasting experience with a stunning view. We cannot wait to return...several times! Ps- our host Alex made this experience memorable for a lifetime :)
My husband and I visited today for the first time and were amazed by the beautiful location and helped by Donna who gave us a very unique tasting. Donna is amazing friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine, she went above and beyond we can't wait to come back and will hopefully book a private tour with her.
Try a Gewürztraminer spätlese (late harvest) or Riesling from old vines. Those are arguably some of the best in the region. We have been drinking them for the last 5 years and they are consistently very good (with some expected variation from year to year). Bonus: the view of the vineyard descending into the lake.
Beautiful scenery and great wines. Peach wine is their unique wine made from peaches. Highly recommended.
Beautiful winery. Informative tour and structured tasting. Delicious wines.
Love their peach wine and their reisling wine is also very good! Beautiful views from their tower
Booked a seated tasting online for $10/per person. With that 10$ you get 3 flights of your choice. Of course I had to try the peach wine which they seemed to be known for. It did not disappoint—and I left with 2 bottles. We did arrive a bit late for our tasting, and were given warnings that we might be kicked out after the 25 mins, but it didn’t seem to be all that busy, and we were able to enjoy our flights without feeling rushed.

Great products, awesome atmosphere and friendly staff.
Good wine. Nice view across the lake.
The staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We went on a Tuesday for the tour with Simon and he was both informative and hilarious. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes wine or wants to like wine they work with your tastes to find the best one for your personal taste. (And can even recommend junk food pairings with your wine if you are so inclined, LOL) My boyfriend and I had great time and can't wait to go back!
We had Gus Miranda as the wine consultant for our wine tour and it was a blast! He was thorough and professional with explaining the process of wine making but also made it fun! I recommend going to this winery for sure!
Absolutely phenomenal. Love the peach wine!
We had just an amazing experience there. The ambiance was fabulous as well as the vine. I would recommend picking the black menu, the premium sampling menu. Dylan provided an excellent customer service level there!
Came here on a tasting tour and was blown away! Our tasting guide was incredible and explained all the different steps to a proper wine tasting, with a fantastic sense of humour to boot. Plus, their wines are truly amazing. I bought two bottles of their peach wine and am disappointed I didn't buy more!
The winery building looks great and the winery itself is sitting at a great location. You can look out winery from the viewing platform and also able to see Lake Ontario.
Came here for the wine tasting for two - was greeted on time, no issues with pre-registration and then being seated, sign in was quick. In general, Konzelmann winery is very pleasant, and the tasting area professionally set up. The wines were generally peppery/"spicey" which were not our favourite type, but for a $10 price tag each, worth it. Was able to taste the red wines, white wines, and dessert wine (aka. ice wine) - out of about 12 wines, have a choice of three. The red wines were rather bland and not too strong - they lacked the typical red wine taste. Overall, would likely not purchase this wine at the LCBO or at the winery as there are many other local wines that are preferred - at the end of the day, taste is king. Also, there were dozens of flies in the tasting room and tables - this can't be sanitary?
We decided to take the tour. Our person Mike was really knowledgeable, funny, and honest. We learned some great things. The wine tasting was really neat. We had a good time
This was our last stop on a 3-winery tour as part of a bachelorette weekend in June. As a group of 7 we did not get put with any other groups for our tour which was great. Our tour guide was excellent (I think his name was Ben?) and very knowledgeable about the wine and production process. He had patience while we took a ton of pictures (first outside as we toured the grounds and then inside as we toured and during tasting). He answered all of our questions and even gave the bride-to-be some extra wine :) There is also a great store on site that had the wine for sale and food sampling going on as well. The only reason I took off a star was because of how busy/crowded the store and waiting areas were. Once you were on the tour though the crowd thinned out.
Had an absolutely amazing experience here. We did the junk food pairing and had such a good time. The wine pairings were on point and our guide was so energetic. Would come back for a tasting led by Donna anytime!
Great wine , we serve along with our pizza at Il Sorriso Cafe & Pizzeria, in Niagara!
One of the best places to be to experience wine. Just be there and you are done.
Another exiting stop! Super nice winery and the tour was nice. We got the peach wine and it was good.

Great wine, never knew that Canada makes such great wines... not cheap thou...
Pretty winery with a nice view. I’m not a huge fan of sweeter wines but had to try the peach wine, which had a nice taste despite the sweetness. We got lucky with really nice clear weather & were able to enjoy our wine on their patio.
Wonderful German winery. A definite must see if you plan on exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake’s wineries. I was surprised how many International visitors it gets- we saw people from the U.S here , the Netherlands, Germany, just to name a few. The food and wine tasting deals can’t be beat. One of the best places in the area if you want a good deal on wine tasting. We got the 3 wine samples for $5 deal and the cheese and crackers plate-which could feed 4 people easily for $15! The wine tour was also cheap at $12 and we got to sample 6 different types of wines. Just beware, with these prices and quantities of free wine, you might need to wait awhile before you go back to driving.
An exquisite winery. Tastefull
Went for a wine tasting, the wines we picked were of quality and the person serving was very well spoken and descriptive.
Rebekah is awesome! Recommend trying the peach wine with a sparking incredible!
The Gewurztraminer is great! And if you spend $5 on a sample flight you get a $5 credit off buying a bottle... so free samples basically!
Amazing winery. Great tour with Micheal, and perfect tasting with Danny! Perfect afternoon.
The peach wine was amazing & you can only purchase it at Konzelmann, the tour was amazing & our tour guide I believe her name was Julia was very informative and taught us how to taste wine properly :)
I work in the winery machinery business and have been to many wineries in the area, from Beamsville all the way down to Niagara on the Lake, and I must say that Konzelman is one of my favourites. Not only do they employ some of the friendliest people and have one of the nicest estates (in my personal opinion), but the wine is phenomenal. I highly recommend.
We were unable to do the wine tasting as we had our baby with us, as the wine tasting is currently done indoors which means no one under 19 is allowed. But it’s okay because we got to hangout on the little patio by the parking lot and enjoy a couple of drinks. The peach wine was unique and lovely, and we got to take our glasses with us! The vineyard lookout area is absolutely beautiful as well! What a great little place! We had so much fun on this beautiful property.
Did the Junk Food Experience paired with the Wines
Book yourself in for the junk food wine pairing crash course. Just admit it, you already know a thing or two about junk food wine pairings. They difference is that you will be more refined afterwards. But seriously, very helpful and experienced staff at the ready.
The peach wine is amazing
It was a really great experience on the wine tour and the junk food tasting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about how the vine is made and also about wine. I loved the unique experience of Reese's peanut butter cups and wine that tasted like peanut butter and jelly. I will definitely be making a return trip to experience konzelmanns again.
Unfortunately you can't get anywhere near to the lake at Konzelmann's, which is too bad. There is no nice place outdoors to sample wine. The wine tasting room is at the roadside, busy with bus tours. Hard to get to by bicycle. Nice wine though. Check the peach wine and Shiraz, both very nice.
Did the fireside experience. It was okay but felt it could have been better.
I loved the absolute beauty of this winery, the wine was delicious! Gus was extremely helpful and educated about the wines, also very friendly and pleasant! Great atmosphere. I felt it was a bit crowded at wine tasting, but I will definitely be back!
I went with family that was visiting Toronto to this winary because I like it. 4 of us did the wine tasting. I asked the girl if she can tell us a little bit about the winary. She literally said we need to pay the tour for that. Very dissapointing. She didn't explain anything about the wines that we were tasting either , besides the name. I think there are so many winaries in Niagara that they should focus in the experience too. I won't go back, as I said. There are so many good winaries with friendly and knowledgble staff.
DONNA!!!!! Enough said. She made my birthday such an amazing experience. With restrictions , and even being late, she made us feel like such royalty. She is the reason we will be back time and time again. See you next week!!!
Pretty good wines. Skipped the tour, it started every hour and we got there around 10 min late.
My husband and I went on a Thursday afternoon. We had two flights of the wine and the cheese tray. My husband likes off-dry wine so we tried a couple red wines that are off-dry, which was really interesting. The peach wine was lovely. There were several other people in the tasting area but we didn't wait long. It was nice.
My husband and I stopped in for the fall flights by the fire to kick off our honeymoon and it was such an amazing experience!! Gonzalo taught us so much about each wine we tasted and how to pair it with each food sample. He made the experience so much fun and we cannot wait to come back to Konzelmann.

We did the fireside Smores flight, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our wine consultant, Denise, was excellent. We highly recommend this winter experience.
Matt Nowell was our tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable and witty, he kept things interesting and informative! 10/10 would recommend
Gorgeous architecture, property, great peach wine and service! Really enjoyed
One of a few places offering cheese and meat platters with the wine tasting. Paula V was great. The reisleng was slightly nutty with a butter tart finish leaving a Vaseline like texture in the mouth. Don't forget to eat the cheese and sip the wine in the mouth at the same time and swish it all up in there. Real good.
Lauren taught our group how to properly sip wine... Amazing experience and amazing wine prices! The outside has a great view ????????????
I did a tour this past weekend through The Grape Escape with my bachelorette party and one of the Wineries we stopped at was Konzelmann. The tour was amazing, and our guide, Gus, was funny, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the winery, its history and the products made there. We will be booking again for the summer and this will be one of our must-sees!
Nice little vineyard.
Great value for tour! $10 and 4 wine tasting and quick tour. ***Note!: Because we came in October, it was during the harvest so we couldn't go into the fields or to the lakefront! Michael was a great, knowledgeable tour guide! Super nice and answered all questions.
They offer a tasting order that was thoughtfully designed. Cheese and crackers tray was good quality and fresh.
Always a great place to visit. Good wine, beautiful grounds and they peach wine sangria is to die for
Out of all the wineries I went to today, this is by far #1. First off, Dylan was amazing, he truly made the experience so much better. He had some great jokes and was just super friendly. He definitely deserves some recognition. Additionally, the peach wine is just phenomenal. I can’t come here and not get a few bottles of it. Thanks for a great time!
A great experience and our tour guide Mike was absolutely amazing at his job. Provided our group so much interesting facts and information on the history of the winery. Strongly recommend a visit to Konzelmann Estates.
Love love love the Konzelmann’s Peachwine!!! The best I’ve tried so far! Downside is that the staff was not very fun when we visited, they were not talking to us nor suggesting us what to try.. the wine tasting area is really nice and the outdoor views in the outlook area is quite nice, so close to the water that you can even see Toronto! . . #wine #konzelmann #niagaraonthelake #winery #winetasting #YesVisitNiagara #myniagara #visitniagara #peaches #peachwine #niagara
One of the best experiences I have had a winery. Gus was a wonderful tour guide and the wine was amazing. Love, Love the Peach wine. Thumbs UP Konzelmann!
Update your times of operation - I made a drive out from Toronto to find you guys closed
Ingrid was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! Tested six wines and left with a couple bottles.
In June I had a groupon reservation for Konzelmann Wine Tasting, and unfortunately we were running late and had missed our booking. When we arrived and explained the situation, they almost immediately were able to accommodate us for another spot that day (despite being fully booked, I saw the schedule). In addition to the outstanding customer service, the wine is simply excellent! I would recommend the Peach Wine if you prefer a sweet taste, but a personal favourite is the Golden White Vintage. Dillon was the one looking after us, and he was super friendly, funny and knowledgeable with the choices we had. This place has very outstanding reviews, and I can agree with them all. Would definitely be going back!
Visit October 16, 2021. Great location on the lakefront, very well maintained grounds, lovely winery building. Did not take part in tasting but did purchase a few bottles. Well established and great selection. Although a bit busy at the …
Three samples for $5. Doesn't get better than that. Staff are friendly, informative. Lots of choice. Don't miss this one!
I liked it!
The Cellar Public Tour was an incredible experience. Mr. Gus Miranda was our tour guide for the day. Very knowledgable about the wine making process, and the history of Konzelmann Estate. When I go back I'll definitely ask for another tour with him personally. This winery is also the only one in the area thats on the lake, and the viewpoint they have of the lake is a must see. We caught sunset there and it was beautiful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn about wine making and the different types of wine, and also looking to taste great samples! (My favourite was the Iced wine)
This was the last winery we visited during our NOTL wine getaway. This winery is in front of the lake but hard to see the lake from the viewing point because the vineyards are in front and you cannot walk towards the lake. It would have been nice if there was a small trail to the lake so the lake being there does not make much difference because you can barely see it. Konzelmann does make great ice wine and other wines but it gave me a very Napa, California feel- the highly commercial winery arrangement. There was a lot of people as it was packed on a Saturday but the service was good. We purchased wine the next day and kept the receipts for the discount.
Friendly staff and beautiful grounds overlooking Lake Ontario. I highly recommend their Pinot Grigio and Baco Noir (this is somewhat unique to the Great Lakes area, for what it's worth). The Baco and Pinot Grigios are dry, and are far superior to what I've found at other Finger Lakes / Niagara area wines. Looking forward to returning in the future!
Maddie crush the visit for us. Please ask for Maddie, she is the bomb!
Excellent service. Newly rennovated, clean and spacious. Can accomodate groups of up to 50 easily, but i recommend a small intimate party experience. Snacks are available and the shop's selection is ample.
Absolutely love it here! Our waitress was so kind, and was the only person on our wine tour who took the time to explain the different wines and how to taste them best. The peachwine is incredible, and definitely a must try!

I had just a bad experience there. I went because it is a "known" winery in the region, but the experience,... well, not really a positive experience, ... was far from worth it. The women at the reception was especially rude and unwelcoming. In my humble opinion, you should go there (only) to take the picture with the wineyard and the lake, and get the hell out. Not worth a penny for the tastings. it is a really commercial business mindset (in a negative way) and there is so many great wineyards around. Your choice though.
You can try and Discovery all types of wine as you can. The People Who receive us was so gentle and kind! This trip was so Nice!
Went here for the “junk food” tasting which basically pairs 4 junk foods with different types of wine. Going in April is the slower period so we were the only ones on the tasting, and you can try other different wines in their general store after. Out on the viewing deck on a nice day you can actually see a faint outline of Toronto which was a nice little surprise.

Great wines here along with excellent knowledgeable staff. We always leave here with at least a few bottles if not a case or two. One of our favourites in the region.
Lovely winery! From the parking lot with the beautiful overlook of the fields to the attentive staff at the tasting bar with their obvious passion for their wines, this was an excellent stop on our stay in NOTL. They have a peach wine that is sweet and sinful, as well as too many smooth white wines to list. I am not a red wine fan so I cannot speak to them but the wine tastings were a very reasonable $5 for 3 samples for most selections. Also you get rebates this sampling fee towards any bottle purchase. They also carry many chocolates and tasty treats seen at the other wineries although we found they were cheaper at Konzelmann. Stop in, you won’t regret it!
Been here several times and always a great experience. Spacious enough to accommodate many guests. The employees stand behind their product. Our favourite is always the Peachwine. A flight of three wines at the tasting bar is $10 and well worth it. The backdrop for photos was a nice touch as well. Add it to your list!
Gus, the wine, and the food made the experience very enjoyable. Would highly recommend getting him as the tour guide!!
Nice variety of wines. Too commercial. Don't have the family run feeling.
Great view of the lake
Just finished a wine tasting with a pairing of junk food. Donna, our host, was very informative, kind and very knowledgeable. Will most definitely return.
Wonderful staff, delicious wine(vidal).
We visited Konzelmann Estate Winery during our honeymoon. We tried a bottle of their 2017 Merlot with a dinner at our hotel and loved it! We called around noon to see if they had any tasting times available and due to a cancellation they were able to take us at 2pm. We arrived early and admired the beautiful vineyard. The estate is well maintained and staff were very friendly. We checked in at the front entrance and we chose to do the Reserve wine tasting - and we weren't disappointed. Our server was Meghan and she was a delight! She was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We chose to start with the Rosé sparking wine, then Chardonnay, Merlot, Merlot Shiraz, and Cabernet Merlot. The wine was phenomenal, we were very impressed. We took our voucher to the store afterwards and purchased 10 bottles of wine. One of which we will save for our first wedding anniversary.
This place was really nice to visit. The wines were amazingly delicious to taste. The ice wine was a little too sweet but I'm glad I tried it..Our wine consultant was brilliantly informative and kept us all interested. You were a pleasure to meet Donna.Thank you for a great tour.
WOW, this place is great. Everyone was friendly. Good senses of humor. Lots of very smart people. Great wine. I really don't even like wine. The peach wine is just like juice, its great. You don't need to tour 5 Places, just come to this one place, and have a great time. Thank you Ingred and Danial, and girl from Winsor. ( sorry I forget your name. Chelsea????) Great place. Dr. Darrell From Michigan.
Very beautiful winery, tour was highly informative and wine was delicious! Mike was our tour guide and he is very energetic, fun and helpful. I ended up taking home the late harvest vidal (half less sweet than the usual icewine). Would go back again for the peach wine and pinot grigio!
Higher expectations, busy place.
Fruit flies everywhere inside the winery. Unknowledgable staff with poor recommendations. Red ice wine is excellent; but others are mediocre at best. Avoid.
Wine tasting was a good price! Eveyone was super friendly! Would definitely go again.
Gorgeous estate and winery. Tours do NOT count towards your purchase of wine. And it's a 20min tour.
Great scenery and very affordable. Peach wine most popular. Five stars all around.
The wines are very good, and service is great too! Amazing views but we cannot enter the vineyards as we can is some others vineyards.
We had a private guided tour at this facility and the guide did a good job explaining the history and operations, though at points made a few risky/risqué comments that rubbed a few people the wrong way. The wine was good, especially the peach wine. I was disappointed that the tour tastings didn’t have much red wine options, but that is a matter of personal preference.
You will be surprised with their wines for sure! I think "Value for Monery" wise, their wines would be one of the best in this area. Their table wine, like "Vidal Golden Vintage" is so good to enjoy with even asian foods like Sushi. Vidal grape is made for Icewine but you can also enjoy it as a table wine. Enjoy!
One of the best places to be to experience wine. Just be there and you are done.
Great experience at the fire pit area. Nice selection and helpful staff. Highly recommend
My family and I had a wonderful time at Konzelmann! We had a private tasting with Noah who created such a fun environment for us yet was still very professional. This was our first time doing a wine tasting and we had randomly picked Konzelmann as it was the first option to pop up in the search and boy did the gamble pay off! The wine was delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable. Their wine shop was also fairly priced and we left with several bottles in our hands. Highly recommend this winery and doing your tasting with Noah.
The staff is amazing, hilarious and so kind. I've been on multiple different tours and they've all been informative, fun and delicious. The wine is out of this world and so reasonably priced. An absolute must for wine-lovers or even those just curious about Ontario wines. Try the peach wine, it is totally unique and fabulous.
Great and friendly service. The experience is amazing, supported by well informed staff. The wine is outstanding. Definitely worth stopping by.
Everyone who worked there was very friendly and learned a lot on the tour. Not to mention the wines that we tasted we delicious!
Amazing peach wine. We had a tasting with Ben as the rep. He was funny, informative, and offered great suggestions. Highly recommend checking this out
Visited Konzelmann’s a year ago , enjoyed the tour Gus our guide was a gem, great knowledge with a good sense of humour.
Beautiful property, Dylan was our guide for the tour and was great, had good jokes. Great wines, very reasonable price (paid less for the tour and tasting here than just for tasting at other wineries).
We visited several wineries during our honeymoon in Niagara..this by far was the friendliest...they made us feel extra special and gave us the glass slipper treatment even opened a fresh bottle of one of their intense ice wines to help us celebrate...I wish we had more time to enjoy all they had to offer...visit this place and remember to drink from the heel
Beautiful grounds, and friendly helpful staff! Great for wedding receptions!
Eh wouldn’t come back here. Decent wine and winery staff were attentive, but rude tour guides coming through soured the experience for actual purchasing customers. Likely better options in the area
We were there for Matt and Justine's wedding rehearsal party. Fabulous! Atmosphere was beautiful, staff was lovely! The wine? Well, wow! Just wow! Thoroughly enjoyed my red!
Great tasting experience! Knowledgeable, friendly. We did the junk food tasting and it was a great experience!
We enjoyed the new Patio restaurant. The Peach Sangria was very refreshing for a hot summer's day. The Charcuterie Box was very good and very good value for the price.
Great experience.Staff were wonderful and attentive.Had the pitcher of peach sangria with charcuterie box sitting in the shade with stunning views over the winery to the lake, perfect.
We visit the winery in 2015 and it was a great experience. Wonderful views to the wineyards, lot of tasting good wine, very nice tasting room and friendly embloyees,...
We had a really fun tour guide who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Peach wine is the best!
We did a wine tasting and it was an amazing atmosphere! Our bartender Alex had great recommendations and was really friendly throughout the tasting. He recommended us the peach wine and we ended up buying two bottles! ????????
Beautiful. Easy to find. Worth the visit. The selection is divine. Peachwine! They have Peachwine! My favorite wines are those involving peach notes when tasting and they make a mean peachwine. Just delicious. Brilliant enough for me to buy two bottles. Try their ice wine, too! They make a Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Wine and much to my surprise, I enjoyed this even though I'm not always into Cabernet Sauvignon. _________________ Gus. The best part of the whole winery. My husband and I were celebrating our first weekend of being married in Niagara, and we decided to travel northward to Konzelmann. We did not expect much before arriving, but we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality--specifically from Gus (and his 82-year-old twin brother!) Though Gus does not really have a twin brother, he sure found time to serve my husband and I as if he was two places at once at all times. We tasted six different wines with him and we enjoyed the company of his genuine personality and his stories. A wine to remember is one served with great taste, even better company and a perfect environment. Gus did a grand job of bringing these wines to life. Not many people take the time to curate a beautiful experience anymore, but the richness of this winery was enhanced by our wine tasting guide. We will definitely be returning and we'll be bringing our family, too!
Great tour. Knowledgable staff. Try the junk food pairings tasting!
We did the dome experience and it was wonderful! Alex was an amazing host. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and winery and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would defiantly go back and recommend to everyone!
Dirty washrooms. Not a fully pleasant staff. Candice & Conner saved our visit though. Both were wonderful and added a young outlook to our questions. Well educated. The full staff here can't handle being busy. Mischarged. Pompous in communication of how good their wine is. Choose one of the many other stops for your time.
I had a great time learning about wine production. The tour guide seemed very interested and informed.
Great wine, views, staff, and prices. We had a private tour with Gus. His expertise and candor throughout the tour was perfect. The winery is family owned and still operates by them. The only winery on the water. Every qine beat out the neighboring vineyards. Being a vintner myself I'm pretty critical. Konzelmanns did not disappoint.
Good wine. Very sweet. Good tasting.
We booked a tasting here and unfortunately had the feeling it likened a wine assembly line. The servers were rushed and didn’t provide information or guidance you would expect from a tasting experience. Beautiful scenery but it didn’t make up for the service.
Amazing peach wine. Welcoming staff. Good tour.
Visited June 4 for a tasting with a few friends. We had 4 people drinking wine. I was lucky enough to have a tasting pass that allowed us to receive 1 regular wine tasting and 1 ice wine tasting. I had two so we each could try 1. Three of the people on this trip disliked icewine. After 10 minutes of waiting (it was a Saturday so that's fine!) We asked the server if she would be nice enough to allow us 3 regular wines and just no icewine. She very rudely refused to do so so one of us purchased a regular wine and we only got 3/4 tastings we had coupons for and paid for the last one. The wine my friend tasted, she hated ! Took one sip. And said I'm sorry I don't like this. And gave the cup back. She then switched it for something else and unfortunately the same thing happened, she didn't like and then handed back. The server said she doesn't like those wines either and only uses them when she has to. As we were about to leave the girl then presented us with a receipt. For both wines! My friend tried to explain that she didn't even like either wine and that she felt it was fair to only pay for one because she didn't even finish either they were so bad tasting to her. Not to mention we still only used 3/4 of the wines we had coupons for. The server was unapologetic and very rude at this point. We asked to speak to the manager and the girl said sorry they're busy! We left after paying our bill and will never go back!
The most beautiful estate in the area
Perfect ???????? The best wine I have ever drunk I suggest you try peach wine ????
Thank you. Ordered six bottles of wine on Monday evening and delivered to our door Thursday morning in Guelph. Great service. Love your wines. And a great place to visit. ????
First wine tour we've ever been on, and I have a feeling it'll be hard to top. Excellent tour, knowledgeable staff, and great product. We look forward to continue to purchase your wine!
First class facility with a wide selection of fantastic wines. The tour and tasting was very informative and the guide extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Hope to return soon!
Excellent customer service, friendly staff. A wide variety of wines, from sweet to dry.
I really enjoyed sitting at The Patio with a glass of wine and a platter of cheese and charcuterie! How to better enjoy a relaxing warm Sunday afternoon! Special thanks to the staff. You guys do an excellent work! Cheers!
Amazing!!!
Unfortunately had a really poor experience at this winery. The staff is unreasonably unaccommodating and rude. Wine is fine but I wouldn’t do another tasting again.
amazing private tour. thanks gus!
The venue at Konzelmann Estate Winery is absolutely wonderful and beautiful! Their peach wine is a must if you visit Konzelmann!
They have tours so I suggest showing up at least 5-10 minutes before a tour. If your just looking to try wine I suggest showing up 5 minutes after a tour has started. The front really makes the place look like a castle. Friendly and Knowledgeable staff. Tried three wines and liked the peach wine the best. The raised structure to view the grape vines with Lake Ontario in the background is a pretty cool addition.
We visited this winery yesterday and had a tour and tasting. Our tour was led by Mike D. who was very funny and informative about how the vineyard and the winery is run and the wine making process. The wine is delicious, I think my favorite was the peach wine had which was made with mostly peaches. The property is beautiful it sits right on Lake Ontario, and offers spectacular views of the lake and Toronto. They also have a nice patio area where you can get a glass of wine and charcuterie or a cheese board and relax by the vineyard. I would definitely recommend!
Cute winery! Great view!
This is my favorite winery in the Niagara region. They are so friendly and helpful. Their wine is never disappointing!
Located with beautiful view of the The Vineyard looking out over the lake this Winery has a pleasant Outlook point from the parking lot. the tasting bar is able to support a large number of guests and the staff is friendly plentiful and quick to serve. The front doors are imposing but seem to open easily and the tasting room is on ground floor and would not pose any problems to mobility challenged people. There is an option to purchase a cheese tray with you wine flight which is extremely generous. I need the number of beautiful products made from used wine barrels.
Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff made our visit truly enjoyable.
Nice wine, terrible service. On a recent delivery, only 4 our of 12 bottle have arrived (and of course, full sum has been charged from my card!). Send them two messages via website and left voicemails on their number - no reply for a week... Will keep trying to reach someone, but this is getting frustrating
What a fantastic winery! Beautiful views, AMAZING wine. Donna was our sommelier and guided our tasting based on our preferences - she was very knowledgeable and friendly! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!
A few friends and I went to this Vinyard for a wine tasting. The staff was lovely and peach wine was super good (I was sure to buy a bottle). I did wish that the tasting was outdoors, rather than indoors-- I really hadn't done any indoor dining since the pandemic started and would have been more comfortable with an outdoor tasting. But, if you're comfortable with indoor wine tasting, I do recommend this place-- be sure to try their peach wine.
Make sure to try the peach wine! It's delicious and not overly sweet like you might expect it to be - goes down very smoothly.
Great winery with a picturesque setting near the lake. Beautiful architecture for the retail and wine tasting areas. I highly recommend trying the peach wine, it's a fan favourite.
Wine tasting you must have
We had a wine, cheese and chocolate tour @konzelmann winery today, it was truly an amazing experience. I would like to thank our guide Mike for giving a great tour and bearing with us. Make sure you try their Gertzweiner Wine, a very unique taste!
The scenery is stunning! The wines were enjoyable. Try the peach wine... pleasantly surprised!
Gus, thank you for your information, tasting experience with you are excellent. I bring my wife and parent in-law here on the weekend. We purchase their online package with wine and cheese tasting together. We were late for 30 mins because of traffic but still make it on time just in the room down in the basement to taste some of their best wines. I enjoy the peach wine and icewine as well.
My mum and I did the $5 basic tour and it was awesome. Great value for the price, the tour guide was super friendly and informative. You can tell they like where they work. The tasting was awesome as well as the wine boutique. Would definitely go here again.
Friendly staff and great wines! Come for the views stay for the wine!
Wine is good , ppl here is nice
We were there for the Peach Sangria and the Charcuterie board, something to try, really good!!
Finally we have an ambassador that took the time to explain to us the whole process of enjoying ice wine. Sadly it was our last stop on our little tour. For anything related to wine and ice wine produce ask Donna Taylor! She will take good care of your parties and discoveries.
Busy!!! Wine is worth every penny. We always stop in when we visit the area.
Love the wine here, the peach wine is to die for! And the estate is gorgeous.
Delicious wine! I had the peach sangria. It was incredible. It took forever to get seated.. ???? But besides that great experience.
It’s easy to understand why Konzelmann’s is arguably the best winery in the entire Niagara region. From the gorgeous property and top-notch customer service to their flavourful wines, my expectations were surpassed. I highly recommend the Wine and Junk Food tour as it was extremely informative and an ideal way to occupy your afternoon.
I came here with a bachelorette party and we had Candice as our guide. She was so informative and knowledgeable about the history and wines but also super funny, so we had such a great experience. I highly recommend this winery for great products and a great experience.
I came here before for a bachelorette and had a fun wine tasting with the bridal party. This time around, I paid a visit with my husband because we were told Konzelmann is well-known for their peach wine. I ended buying two bottles!
Nice winery great ice win! Bought there leach wine and Vidal ice wine after testing.
Best winery in Niagara. Lakefront location, family run, excellent wines.
The groupon for the winery tour was definitely worth it! 4 samples of wine with very generous pours plus delicious food pairings with cheeses, chocolate, etc. Beautiful estate and very knowledgable tour guide
Excellent winery and excellent tour.
Went to visit during the ice wine festival. The winery was fantastic but the flow of the store/checkout could be improved. Customers crisscross a lot in the store
Miss Meghan, Assistant Manager, went above and beyond to resolve an issue we had with our order. We were so impressed on how she drove her own car to deliver our order, helping our special celebration. It is good to add that the wines are delicious, especially the Merlot and the Peach wine.
Very friendly staff and excellent service! Their Pinot Noir (1) and their Peach Wine are really really good! We always stop by whenever we're in the area!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff and guides. Beautiful landscape and views. Multiple tasting rooms and excellent selections. The tour was fun and very informative about their history and wine history and facts.
My wife and I had a great time visiting Konzelmann on a wine tour. Their facilities are very impressive and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. All the machinery and barrels are interesting to see up close. Beautiful building on absolutely stunning grounds. We learned a lot and smiled the whole time. Great wine as well, of course!
I highly recommend the tour and tasting. Our guide, Montana was both educational and entertaining! Beautiful place right on the lake.
I highly recommend the tour and tasting. Our guide, Montana was both educational and entertaining! Beautiful place right on the lake.
Beautiful place I marvel at every time. Great staff. Try the Baco Noir and Golden Vidal!
Beautiful winery and fantastic wine. The owners are friendly and staff are knowledgeable!
There was a pleasure for our family to public have winery tour. Unfortunately, we didn't remember a name of the guy but his stories was interesting and gave a volume to our visit. Vidal Icewine is one of the thing why we will definitely be back again. More important, the wine testing part is taking care of kids and our small one got grape juice produced at the same winery. Thank you very much! We will be back once more.
I went once before for my own bachelorette party, by far the best stop on the tour! Recently I had the pleasure of going with a group of 5 other ladies for an elite tour and tasting. We had a great guide, very friendly and could read the group well. The wines and the unique tasting elements were well above your regular tasting! As a nice addition, they now carry an amazing line of Indian food spices, sauces and mustards which can be sampled on a Friday, a foodies dream package! I highly recommend this winery to anyone local or to someone visiting the region from a far, you won't be disappointed!
Beautiful winery overlooking Lake Ontario. The tour was fantastic and so is the wine.
Great tasting wine love the ice wine. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely love to visit again.
Great tour and friendly staff. Really impressed with the tour. They're giving every hour on the hour, and the guide is very knowledgeable and charismatic. The one was good and our favorite was the peach wine. Beautiful view of lake Ontario and plenty of parking. Very combination to a couple traveling with a baby, but I would recommend baby wearing on the tour. Would definitely come back next time we are in the area.
Refused our wine tasting hotel coupon
Was the only person in tasting room on a slow weekday but no staff came to me. Tasting is expensive even after buying a few bottles.
I took my grandparents for an igloo wine tasting experience in January right before COVID closed things down again. We showed up a bit late (grandparents move slow lol!) but they were super accommodating and didn’t make us feel bad about it. We had Alex as our host and guide and he was knowledgeable and friendly and even spoke Hungarian to my grandfather! The food was great and the wine selection and pours were top notch. Would go back again and request Alex!
Great place! Amazing staff able to accomodate our party. Very beautiful structure and lookout to the vineyard. Highly recommend!!
The place is absolutely beautiful, the service is nice as well.
Great experience with Peach Sangria on the Patio. Wonderful selections of Wines and great experiences to opt in.
Visit October 16, 2021. Great location on the lakefront, very well maintained grounds, lovely winery building. Did not take part in tasting but did purchase a few bottles. Well established and great selection. Although a bit busy at the time of visit, I would suggest that staff engagement with visitors may be improved. Mobility impaired accessible.
Went with my girlfriend and we had the best time. The hostess was kind enough to make room for for a tasting where we were helped by SUMMER. She was so lovely, knowledgeable and kind. We all walked away with some great bottles. Thanks Summer.
Neat place to stop by to get some local wine and enjoy some scenery. In all honesty the wine I've tried wasn't the best, but the ambiance and the views were more important in this case. People are helpful at the counter and are looking to help you out. It's cool to get something that's produced right here. You can also do some tours of the wineries, etc, but we elected not to as it was more of a quick stop by.
We tried to do more samples after the tour like it was advised by the guide. On the counter there was no sign stating "do not serve yourself" after we asked for our sample they left the bottle next to the glass we took a little bit more. And they rudely took the glass away from our hands and prohibited to do the testing. He said it's against Ontario laws to serve yourself. We emphasized we are tourist there is no sign we did not know. And if we could continue with the sampling with them. They were very unpleasant and said No Anymore. We left with a very bad feeling. I went to talked to the manager he didn't apologist he said it was our error of serving the wine ourselves. Overall BAD SERVICE. I'm really surprise to see this in Canada. I don't suggest this place to anyone. People are Rude!!!!
Blah. Of 4 winery visits this was certainly the lowest... Wine is fine, but inside ambience was meh and person serving us was disengaged, not informative (or fun). I know people love their peach wine (not really my thing)... But outside of that I wouldn't be in a hurry for a return visit.
We came to Konzelmann with our winery group tour (grape escape). This was the second stop on our tour and although we did not get to actually tour the facility, the wine tasting was my favourite of the trip. Gus was our tasting guide and he was fantastic! He had a great attitude and was very funny. The cheese pairings were delicious. I would definitely recommend Konzelmann Estate to friends and family!
Let's just say it is great to be remembered a year later!
Great wine, great experience. We took the tour which was funny and informative. Still use the wine tasting tips to this day.
This is a very pretty winery, situated with Lake Ontario behind the property. The tour discussed picking grapes through the bottling of the wine The tasting room is attractive and guides are knowledgable. Our guide was Matt, who was fun and informative. Wine was available for purchasing after tour.
Amazing staff, we were greeted so well The tour guide could have been more knowledgeable, we had a university student, but she was very kind and friendly
We were very impressed by the knowledgeable gentleman who gave our tour and the facility. The wine was fine and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the Peach Wine.
I have been to this winery many times and am always impressed. The winery is lovely, the tours are great, particularly the cellar tour with Gus, and the tasting in store is a good opportunity to try any wines you may have missed on the tour. One of my top spots in Niagara and will continue to visit! I HIGHLY recommend the Peach wine!
Great staff great wine had the outdoor wine tasting experience
Lots of good wine. We had two tastings (3 white wines, 3 red wines) and some of them were excellent. We also ordered the charcuterie board, which I will highly recommend. Our server seemed to lack some knowledge about the wines, or at least she didn't go into details about them. It would have been nice to get a little background instead of just the name before you try the wine. There were a lot of fruit flies there and I even had to fish one out of my wine. This is a problem they should fix ASAP.
Did the junk food experience with Donna as our ‘host’. THIS is what a wine tasting should be like! So knowledgeable and I actually learned something during a tasting. Typically we just taste the wine and that’s it; Donna did a great job explaining the pairings and what each wine was meant to do to your palate. Loved the in-depth knowledge around the climate/temperatures, etc. Will be back for sure! 2018 Shiraz was great.

Gorgeous architecture, property, great peach wine and service! Really enjoyed
We stopping in for our first time July 4, 2020 during the limited COVID seatings. We had Donna as our Sommelier, who recommended we do a blind tasting which had very interesting results. All of the wines were delicious, however our favorites weren’t what we thought they would be. She was extremely knowledgeable not only about their wines, but also different techniques to taste and aerate the wines. We purchased 3 bottles of our favorites. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area, or able to make the trip!
I've been to this winery before and have really enjoyed the experience. This time around I had booked a tasting for the wrong date. Their customer service was super responsive and they were able to find a solution very quickly! I very much appreciated this.
my friends and I went on a wine tour in niagara this past week and this was by far our favourite stop. the wine was delicious , the charcuterie board and the pairings was incredible, and Victoria ... we couldn’t say enough good things about her , she made our visit so special, and we will now be returning again just because of how much fun we had with her , I’ve never had someone so knowledgeable or had someone that made tasting wine so much fun. Thank you for amazing wine, amazing pairings, and amazing staff!!!! because of this we will be returning!!
Very nice. Wife loves the wine.
Just had the worst experience at this winery. If I could give 0 stars I 100% would. Came in with a group of my friends and paid for a winery tour. From the second the tour started we were being talked down to like a group of school kids. No laughing was allowed and absolutely no talking. A wine tour should be fun and lighthearted and while I respect the fact that the guide was attempting to relay information, I do not agree with the manner that it was being delivered. My group didn’t even stay for the remainder of the tour, we left after the first tasting. I did not come here to be belittled and yelled at like a bad child. Will never be returning to this winery and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
Had a wonderful tour with Mike today! He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable - we had a great time! Thanks Mike! Wines are delicious.. we tried the Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Cabernet Sauvignon & late harvest Vidal. These wines were paired with junk food for their wine and junk food pairing! We did the tasting in their beautiful cellar and afterwards we enjoyed the view of the beautiful vines with the lake as a backdrop. We also bought a bottle of our favorite wine to take home - their famous peach wine! Try it! It’s incredibly unique and tastes like summer! Looking forward to visiting Konzellman many more times this spring and summer!
I like this place, lots of fun!
The Greatest Winerie in the Niagara !!!! Thanks to our guide GUS we had an exceptional tasting experience & one of Canada's most brilliant wines. Over 120 years of history bottled in perfection is the best way to describe it all. Special thanks to Mr. Kozelmann
We were at a wedding reception on a Saturday, not too long ago at the Konzelmann Estate Winery, situated on The Niagara on the Lakes. “Wine is at the heart of everything we do" is their motto. There were quite a few small group gathering for similar functions or other important events. Shuttle staff driving us to and from the Gazebo were polite, courteous and customer service oriented. The view of the gazebo situated on the shores of Lake Ontario with the skyline of Toronto as backdrop is just stunning. Inside the winery, we had the pleasure of the wine tasting experience accompanied with a buffet of charcuterie and cheeses. Donna, our wine consultant, took us through an adventure going through the history of the vineyard and starting us with an exquisite white wine and finishing up with a full bodied red. Both wine were exceptionally good as they tickle our palate with such delicate fragrance. You can feel how passionate and well documented Donna was as she entertained us from start to finish. A true wine artist. They have a large selection of wine at their store and it would be hard to resist not buying any. Overall, a must attend experience.
Great informative tour, with nice views. Learned a lot about the use of different corks. I didn’t enjoy the wine as much, except the peach one- however still a great experience.
First wine tour experience, this was the third one of the day, and by far the best! They don't just take you in a tasting room, they have an observation desk with an amazing sight then show you the wine making process! 4 tastings was perfect, our tour guide Bianca was very informative and friendly. You gotta try their peach wine! Great tour, great experience!
Such a wonderful atmosphere to be able to sit outside by a fire protected from the weather sipping wine under a provided blanket. Service was amazing and friendly. Definitely recommend the fireside outing!????????
amazing wines since end 1980 - Herbert and his staff know the trade. A must when visiting Niagara wineries. My wife and I return bi annual to fill our wine cellar. Taste for yourself. Also great view of Toronto over the vine yard and Lake Ontario from the Konzelmann Lookout.
The wine that we tasted was good, especially the peach wine. The staff were very knowledgeable.
My favourite of all small vineyards in NOTL. renovated with an astounding tasting bar, cafè, a dazzling peach wine for a brilliant sangria, tours & you will not be able to get a box of golden Vidal. Or the pino noir. Simply perfection.
The junk food pairing tour was fun and entertaining. The wines are exellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Elegant and classy! Tasty wines too. Especially the peach wine <3
This place was absolutely beautiful, we didn't go on the tour but it was worth the stop! Tried a wonderful iced wine for only $4. Their peach wine was amazing and I picked up 2 bottles for $30. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall it reminded me on Italy.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The tasting room team are knowledgeable and patient and ordering online is a breeze. If you have any questions at all, their coordinator is fantastic!
Such a great visit! Popped by with a group of ladies and did a tour/tasting. Mike was our tour guide and he was the greatest!!! We learned a lot about Konzelmann and wine making all while sampling some tasty wines on this beautiful property!
Lovely estate with vineyards outside for perfect photo opp. This place is popular based on the number of your buses that park there, so prepare to wait in the tasting room. The red wines were young and bright, and the whites were sweet and fruity. Definitely worth a stop on the tour around NOTL!
Nice winery with friendly staff who are ready to educate
Had a great wine tasting here with Simon, who was funny, informative, and enthusiastic about the wines. I really enjoyed the Baco Noir and Reisling Traminer.
Really enjoyed our experience at this winery. The tour guide was really friendly, informative, and an ace at handling drunken winery-hopping tourists. (Way to go, tour guide Matt!). We tried four different wines on the tour, saw the warehouse where they process and bottle, and got to see some of the vines up close. It was really awesome. This winery is also right on the lake, so it is just beautiful.
Good service, beautiful location and delicious wine!!! Really enjoyed the junk food pairings
The hour long public tour and tasting is excellent . One has the opportunity to visit the Vineyard, go to the wine production facility for full explanation of how wine is made, and then a structured tasting of three or four wines Just enough information to say 'I have seen how it works' but not overwhelming to the point of boredom! The adjoining wine shop and tasting bar allows one additional tasting opportunities, and the chance to buy world class award winning wines directly from the winery. Overall an excellent experience!
We stopping in for our first time July 4, 2020 during the limited COVID seatings. We had Donna as our Sommelier, who recommended we do a blind tasting which had very interesting results. I have been there twice this year, the first time with a tour and then I went back to get more of their excellent shiraz, best under 30 bottle I have ever tasted. Also got their peach wine and it is so refreshing and yet not overly sweet. Staff there are super helpful, especially the second time when we arrived just after a large tourbus got there. They still found time and space to help us out.
Compared to some of the other local wineries who are also quite large in Niagara on the Lake I was happy with the tour price. The tour was informative for $10 plus tax. The tour came with 4 samples at the end which was also nice as well!
Had a really great experience here. The hour long public tour is totally worth it. We heard a lot of interesting stuff and tasted amazing wine. They also have $5, 7 and 12 wine tastings at the bar. If you get one of these tout get a $5 discount when buying wine at their shops. It's an excellent deal. Their wines are just amazing. Recommend their golden Vidal vintage, Riesling Traminer, Shiraz and peach wine.
The tour is a bit too fast but it's a cool experience
Great winery. Our tour guide Veronica was very sweet, knowledgeable and approachable. You get to see from start to finish how wine is made. The wines tasted great and were amazingly priced. One of our favourites on that street.
Passed by this winery for many years but always go to my favorite ones. My husband and I have many visitors from out of country and we always bring them to Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, and the wineries. So, we decided to try out a new winery. Went in on a Monday morning and it was practically empty. The two staff that were there did greet my husband and I when we went in. There were only two other people shopping in the store when we got there, not exactly busy at all. When asked to do wine tasting it was as if we were bothering staff. They came off very cold and unfriendly in their tone and mannerisms. They did not appear happy to accommodate us even though we were the only ones there asking for wine tasting. I declined the wine tasting and we left as we did not feel comfortable or welcome. After driving by this place so many times and finally going in, I am extremely disappointed with the utter lack of customer service. You'd think that reopening with still a pandemic that people would be kinder to each other and happy to help. Not the case here. With so many other friendlier options available we will not be returning here.
Stopped in for a tasting with friend while in the area. The Peach wine and Canada Red were PERFECT! I bought a bottle of each and really regretted not buying more since I Live in Pennsylvania. When I come back in March, I will be back for more!! I love that you can see Toronto from the vineyards and looking Point! The staff are so knowledgeable and give you a great history behind the whole establishment and how peach wine was the owners signature style.
Very knowledgeable wine staff. The peach wine was very good.
Be aware that if you are not tasting, e.g. because you are driving, in order to join your party in the tasting room they will charge you $5 "designated drivers charge" and give you a small glass of grape juice. The tasting is only $10 so this will likely encourage some to drink and drive. In our case it felt like we were being gouged just because we wanted to stay together.
Great property and good wine
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Was allowed to the back of the private estate to watch the shaw festival concert, beautiful.
Out of all the winery/vineyards this was our best experience. If you go you have to request Dylan as a tour guide. He made the experience even better for us, gave us some great stories about the history of family that started the business and details about each wine we tasted. We will 100% be back.
We were 6 celebrating birthday. We decided to do wine tasting to see which wines to buy. Super rude server - Ingrid - told us off when asked to recommend wine. We left .. not sure what her problem was.
Nice building and atmosphere. The wine was nice and was paired with a delicious braised weal cheek and gnocchi. I would go back for another tour
Went for wine tasting, nice ambiance, beautiful property.
They weren’t busy, and we ended up waiting an age for service because their workers were just walking around being busy instead of looking after customers. Asked for help to get the wine we tasted and was told to just get it off the shelf. Then ended up waiting ages to pay, and came home to find we got the wrong bottle. All in all, a poor experience because of poor service. Not going back.
It was our first time at Niagara on the Lake. Our first stop to do wine tasting was at the Konzelmann and Denise made our experience truly wonderfull! We will come back one day for sure.
Fantastic wine, great staff.
The location of this place is phenomenal. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I had an event at the Gazibo which was great. Lindsay and Dylan were great to deal with. Kudos to them ????
The peach wine and Peach sangria were very good
I went on the wine tasting tour on Sunday led by Gus and trainee Nicole and they did a fantastic job! Gus is very knowledgeable and made the tour memorable. I went home with a few fun factoids and a better appreciation of wine in general. The wine that we sampled was delicious and I ended up buying a few bottles to take home afterwards! Overall, I would highly recommend taking this tour!
A great Dome Wine Experience with Alex! And wonderful wines!
Nice scenery. Did not like the red wine at all ! The best was the cheese and meat box .
We did the junk food and wine pairing tasting.....was really nice. Colin did a great job.
A friend and I won a set of their plastic wine glasses at a stag and doe a couple weeks ago. As directed, because they are plastic, I was to not put them in the dishwasher. So I washed them in the sink with hot water. Mine might have been a defective set because they got slightly deformed due to the hot water in the sink. My friend's did not get deformed so I assumed it was just mine. I called Konzelmann Estate Winery and talked to a gentleman that told me I could come in and exchange them. It was very nice of him to do that since I had no receipt (won at stag and doe) and he could have easily not trusted me when I said I did not put them in the dishwasher. I was really impressed by his customer service. I will definitely be heading back to Konzelmann Estate Winery under different circumstances as the view of the place looked amazing as well. Thank you !
Very interesting environment. Summer our wine tasting server was very nice and polite. I will recommend every one to come here and experience the wine tasting. We did end up buying some wine we liked.
Calvin was a great host and we had an amazing tasting. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
My husband and I had gone for two celebrations, my 30th birthday and our first wedding anniversary which happened to be days apart. We had the wonderful chance of meeting Donna who educated us about our own wine pallets and entertained us so much during this pandemic!!! It was amazing to see her high spirits and to hear the wonderful stories and knowledge she had to share. We can’t wait to see Donna again when covid has fortunately passed us and to experience again!!! Thanks so much Donna!
The wine tasting here is much cheaper, the winery tour is also much cheaper, cost around CAD$12, the tour spend around 45 minutes, can taste 4 kinds of wine, including one ice wine, bur the tour only walk through a small area, the tour guide will talk about the procedure of making wine and guide to have a look of the machines and the grape trees. It is good to have a brief understanding of winery with a reasonable price.
Came here Sunday, worst experience ever,we were booked in for a wine tour, arrived on time, very disorganized made to feel unwanted from the get go, It's not a wine tour, you get to taste 3 wines,we ordered the snack board when we booked online, again ripped off,the pretzel I wouldn't have given it to the birds, it was so dried out they would have broken there beaks,if I could give zero stars I could. No tour of anything Come in sit down get up leave 20 mins tops
Visited with my wife and three children and took the tour. Tour was informative and the tastings were great. The view of the lake from the winery is stunning. The ice wine is the sweetest wine I’ve had. It’s very unique and good. It’s a must try when visiting this area. They cater to the kids and made them feel welcome. The children received grape juice, and they absolutely loved it saying it was the best they’ve had. I purchased Shiraz and a couple of Peach wines. I wish I had bought more of the Shiraz. It was more of a full body wine and went great with some hard cheeses. It’s a good value at around $17 CAD. I would definitely come back and sample other wines
The wine dome experience was excellent! Colin was very sweet and very knowledgeable and made sure to make my birthday even more fun. The personalized experience was fantastic and the dome had an incredible view. The wines were excellent too and well worth the money.
This place was sub-par. The staff were slow and unhelpful. They should learn more about their products. There were fruit flies everywhere, and while the excuse was that it was harvesting season, none of the other 10 wineries we toured seemed to have this issue. Additionally, their costing for sampling is not standard nor clear.
Great experience tasting a delicious selection of wines. Donna did an excellent job finding the perfect wine for us to sample. She was very knowledgeable and lots of fun.
Very pretty place with a wonderful view. The grape field is right next to the lake, with a mini Toronto skyline in the background... Ashley led a wonderful tour that was detailed and quite interesting. Would recommend it. Wine tasting included with tour was nice too. White, red, peach, and an ice wine were included. While I've had tastier peach, the ice wine was super sweet and delicious.
This family owned winery has so much cachet, we just love their story as one of the first 7 wineries in the region. It has been our favourite yet, as the service completely exemplifies the passion and knowledge we were searching for. Lauren did an outstanding job of guiding us according to our preferences. Her recommendations hit the nail! Great service is such a treat. Looking forward to recommending this place to friends, and coming back soon ourselves.
Visited last week with my friend. What a beautiful winery! We were very lucky to have Taylor as our guide, she was kind, very welcoming, and knowledgeable. We had a chance to take a glance at the big boss getting into into his car.. :) I don't usually do well with sweet wine but the famous peach wine was so refreshing. We ended up ordering a cheese board and 3 different kinds of ICE WINE and they were simply excellent!!!
This place is awesome! Such a nice looking, classy place. Their Merlot is our favourite wne.
Amazing experience and amazing wine. This place is a must visit. Try the tour if you have time. You will not be disappointed
Our experience at Konzelmann was fantastic due to the Jim Page. He is extremely knowledgeable about wine . He put the four of at ease. Really enjoyed his sense of humour also. The only disappointment was that I though he played for Led Zeppelin. Great guy, great winery.
Beautiful place, beautiful people, wonderful wine!
Nice place. Junk food experience was fun but too brief.
Went for a tasting with Donna and she was amazing - personable and provided fun/interesting facts about the wines & pairings.
Booked for a summer sip. The server knew little about the wine. We recieved barely a shot of wine. They share a bottle amongst numerous bookings which is unsanitary given that they do not give a different glass for each tasting. I will not visit this place again.
March 20, 2016, Went on a tour and Konzelmann Estates by far was a true winery. With Gus & Alex as our tour guides it was truly a great experience.
Had a private tour and tasting with a group of friends and had a wonderful time there! Our guide Lauren was fantastic! Very knowledgable and passionate about the wine industry. Wines were quite delicious, especially the peach wine. Highly recommend checking out this winery!
Came for a wine tour and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Pinot grigio is my go-to
We went for the fireside flights. Had a great time!
Amazing experience, really nice staff. Beautiful place and excellent wine. Ask for Donna if you wanna have a great service!
Wine is great! +1 star. We arrived late and it's covid they gave a refund for tasting reso made 3 months in advance.+1 star. We wanted to walk around the winery but got kicked out. Wanted to taste wine at patio... no can do. No accomodations at all... and hence our experience was terrible after months of expectation of a fun event.
Just went to Winter Gala as I am a wine club member. Great evening.. Wonderful
Junk Food Tour was great Colin was a great host.
Tried the new "dome" experience and LOVED it! Omg, the view!! ????????
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing the wine/cellar tour with tour guide Gus, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was our second tour undertaken at this particular estate winery, and it was very enjoyable. Apparently, I've been drinking wine incorrectly all this time.... no longer! Highly recommend taking a tour and visiting the wine shop afterwards.
Went in to check out a Junk Food / Snack tasting with wine pairing. Fun and interesting ... from chips to chocolate bars. Different for sure and definitely a fun Sunday afternoon activity. Highly recommend
Our server Charlotte was excellent both times we came in. Very knowledgeable and courteous.
Can't even tour without drinking...They force u to drink
The place was very nice, the wine was good. The tour was ok, though JR was very obnoxious and slightly offensive. Bashing americans didn't need to be included in a wine tour.
The best winery in Niagara. The tour is amazing. They brought huge barrels from Germany to begin their wine making journey. Their tastings are so varied... not only grape based wines which is wonderful to see. They have a beautiful viewing tower in the vines where you can see the Toronto skyline on a clear day. This is a must stop. Very affordable wine too.
Very nice wine. Unfortunately, there was too many people in one room for tasting and they have 2 rooms.
Visited five wineries in the Niagara area and this one is a favourite. We did a tasting inside which has a classy vibe. Our server Abbie was awesome! Outside there's a decent view of the lake and a fun-looking patio. The Chardonnay, Peach and Barrel-Aged Merlot were the best wines here.
Friendly staff, awesome experience with bubble wine tasting
Corey served us our wine, he was so kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. Thank you Corey!
Great experience
A wonderful Winter afternoon at the Dome Experience, with wine consultant Alex I . Great history of Konzelmann Winery ,delicious wine and charcuterie board . A beautiful view of the vineyard and lake from the Dome . Thank you Alex I Maria
Excellent facility. Friendly staff and a wonderful tour full of history.
Nicest guy who lead the tour. Came to work the Monday after his wedding and had such a positive wtto6a k
Great visit. Donna is a delight. Knowledgeable and fun.
Fun but busy place to visit. The wine selection and quality is good; unexpectedly, it is one of the few area wineries to offer a decent red. If you go on Saturdays, chances are good that the curry man will be there with samples and product to sell.
Would have been 5 stars but they lost our reservation
We had a bus tour of 50 people and just finished the Junk Food Tasting. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The wine is delicious and the scenery is gorgeous. Thank you to everyone who made our day at Konzelmann fantastic.
My favourite Winery I visited at Niagara on the Lake. The staff were great and very friendly. Also one of the best wines I have tasted.
Amazing place with great views and excellent wines. Worth the drive
It was part of a wine tasting tour, great service, great wines !!
Samantha was the best host ever. She's the only reason I came here. If you can reserve a tasting with her, your going to learn a lot.
Great winery. The view from the fields are amazing. Overlooking the lake and you can see Toronto in the background. The guides there are very detailed and helpful. They show you all around with all the details. The tasting was fun and professional. The two woman teaching us today were keeping it fun for us the whole time.
Friendly and helpful staff and the tasting was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed the curated Valentines dessert pairing hosted by Donna and her colleagues today. The wines and desserts paired beautifully and elevated one another. Donna was a wonderful hostess and so knowledgeable about not only the wines and their tasting notes but also tasting techniques to heighten the experience. This was our first visit to Konzelmann estates and will certainly not be our last.
Did a tour, tasted some wine, bought some wine, had a wonderful time there on our way through town.
Wine was good but tasting menu was non-descriptive and when we asked for descriptions of the wines, the server would mention certain fruits coming out of the wine and that it was 'very good'. Would have liked more in terms of acidity, tannins, etc
I came here for an elite tasting with a group of friends. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were delicious as well as the cheese platter they served with it. The peach wine is a must try! There is also a beautiful lookout of the vineyard.
Visited for the first time and really enjoyed my time there. The tour of the winery was very informative and exciting to see. When it got to the wine tasting, there were a lot of smiles. Great quality wine, and a well run family business. Thank you to our tour guide and the rest of the Konzelmann team for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for couples or all ages, dates, little family activity (of course no alcohol for people under 19).
Patio doesn't open until 12pm yet it wasn't mentioned anywhere. Stuck outside with the kids on the scorching heat. So upset right now.
We had the most amazing time at this Winery! Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and really fun. We enjoyed all of the wines that she picked and even bought two of them at the end. For 35$ the wine paired with local cheeses was the best value we could ask for.
Had a great time at the summer sip
My partner and I had a tasting hosted by Gus. He was very enthusiastic, interesting, and knowledgeable. Thier ice wine is by far the best! Highly recommend!
We went to this winery as part of a tour and we had Shannon as our tour guide she was fantastic! She had loads of information to share during the tour, was happy to answer any of our silly questions and also offered to take some great photos of us out on the observation deck. Once inside she treated us to a structured wine tasting and paired some of the great wines with candy and chips! Trust me it was amazing! Suffice to say we left with quite a few bottles! Thank you again for the lovely tour keep up the stellar work!
This was last minute decision to stop here on a self guided tour. Beautifully landscaped. Was extremely busy the tasting room busy but we were served in a timely manner by a friendly and knowledgeable young lady Shannon. Thanks. She suggested going out to the patio for a snack. Cheese crackers sangrias delicious and what a way to share good food and drink. NOT we had a picnic table but were unable to share it with another couple who we welcomed to join us. As the patio does not split tables. Although there was two tables pulled together and a group had brought their own picnic lunch. A little confused. The servers were rude to some of the guests looking to sit down or who were waiting to be served. We do plan to return for the junk food wine parring with our spouse's.
Was in Niagra area about 5 days and visited 4 wineries and this one was the worst experience. its staffs were unfriendly and behaved like a pice of ice. Welcoming was disappointing and no one helped us to discover the winery and find the wines we were looking for
Came to the winery for a tour with some friends. The place is gorgeous and the view from across the lake is fantastic. You can see the Toronto skyline including the CN tower. The wine was delicious as expected but the star of the show was Bianca. Her knowledge and ability to explain the difference in wines and taste was amazing. I highly recommend visiting. If not for the wines the for the information you will get from her. Will definitely visit again maybe just to learn a little more about wine.
I went to Konzelmann Estate Winery on Sunday with a couple friends. We had been before and always had a good time, as we love their selection of wine and the staff were friendly. However, we had a terrible experience this weekend. The tasting room was busy, and we were prepared to wait- however the lady in our section gave us wine menus and then ignored us for twenty or so minutes in favour of other patrons or simply idling and making small talk when she could have helped us. When she finally assisted us, she was blatantly rude. Her name is Ingrid, which I remember solely because of how unprofessional she was. When we asked about tasting the ice wines (which are not included in the tasting) she rudely told us no and walked away instead of suggesting something similar or paying a small fee (you are definitely allowed to sample if you pay more). I tried the Peachwine, when she asked how I liked it I told her I expected it to be a little sweeter/lighter than it was. She seriously told me, "I'm sorry you have ridiculous expectations of wine". The entire time we were there she was curt, if not outright hostile. It was such a bad experience that we did not want to stay for the tour that we had planned. Although I enjoyed the wine, I will never return. If this is the quality and service that represents Konzelmann Estate then I am sorry to say it is appalling.
Paid 5$ for a DD, only to be told by our server had we walked in we wouldn't have been charged. Our visit was at 3:40pm, washrooms were last cleaned at 7am, it was during COVID times. Wine was all served to us warm and our server knew absolutely nothing about the wines, even served us a wine which was obviously unpopular and had not been opened recently, was sour vinegar tasting.
Not very impressive on the inside or out. Needs a makeover.
Wine excellent, but the tasting was too unstructured for someone without expert knowledge.
I can easily say One of the best wineries i have visited.Customer Service was great i had some wine tasting which you pay $5 and you get 3 Samples to taste from, and the best part you get a coupon back for $5, So I did 3 sets of $5 Paid $15 and got back $15 Coupons free Bottle of wine. Well defenetley do it again.
Konzelmann Winery is one of my favourites to visit!! It’s a beautiful space with great ice wine, best in the country. If you book a tour, ask for Gus! He is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to meet! ????
Great value and unbelievable scenery!! We visited this winery last weekend, and were very happy that we did!! The sample sizes were more than sufficient! A special shout to Ingrid at the sample bar for being so attentive and informative - the best experience in NOTL!!
Definitely one of the more recognizable and well-known wineries in the Niagara region. My friends and I came here on our self-guided winery tour. I also had a few free passes for some wine tasting. The voucher I had was pretty generous. For 2 people, they give you a set wine tasting menu and you get to sample 4 different wines each!! I also decided to order a cheese board. The wine tasting flight was very Canadian which featured their Canada Red and White wine, another red wine and an ice wine! The cheese board was delicious and nicely presented! If you are in the Niagara region and are hitting up some wineries, this is probably one that should definitely be on your tour stop. Overall, loved their wines. The great part of trying the wines is if you decide to buy a bottle, the wine tasting flight is waived for you. Will definitely be a regular here if I’m going on to the Niagara region to try some delicious wine!
This was our first time at this winery. We had a lovely time. We were 2 couples doing the dome experience. It was beautiful. We had a very knowledgeable staff member. The wines, food and service were perfect. This winery is definitely worth visiting.
Excellent winery and great views.
Winery Fast Food!!! I’ve been to winery tasting in US and in Europe and I must say that it Is the WORST WINERY TASTING EXPERIENCE. You take your wine in a little space with anxious waiters because there are back to back people waiting for you to finish your glasses. I cannot even tell the story of the family because the waiters don’t even care about taking care of you. Unfortunately, I spend money on this poor wine tasting. Go to TWO SISTERS winery, its worth it, the experience and the landscape. Dont waste time on Konzelmann Estate Winery, they don’t care about you.
Excellent experience! Samantha was very informative and the wine was delicious and affordable.
This place was really nice to visit. The wines were amazingly delicious to taste. The ice wine was a little too sweet but I'm glad I tried it..Our wine consultant was brilliantly informative and kept us all interested. You were a pleasure to meet Donna.Thank you for a great tour.
Very disapointed with the wine club membership. we were sold this membership with the understanding that the wine we would receive would be of equal or greater value to the price of the membership. This is definately not the case!!!! out of the 6 wines we received , 5 were much less than the price of the membership the 5 wines were $14.95 price point which was very disappointing to us as we are wine lovers. We did reach out to voice our concern, however the coordinator did not even seem apologetic . If this is how they want to run their wine club, that is to their discretion, however they should not be selling this membership to customers as a membership that has tremendous value!
Everything okay with Konzelmann winery, except wines themselves. We tried Lakefront Flight and Reserve Flight in 2018, and we did not like either of them.
It was one of the wineries I visited last year on the tour and remembered the peach wine being so good. Not available in LCBO so I had to get a bottle when I had the chance to stop by yesterday. Couldn't have the tasting due to my empty stomach and they didn't have food service available but there's always a next. Also the employees were all nice and welcoming so it made my brief visit pleasant.
We visited the Konzelmann Estate Winery the weekend of September 14th. We had a very pleasant experience, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit. We booked the Cellar tasting and our guide's name was Gus. Gus was great! He gave us the tour of the facility and we enjoyed hearing about the history and the process prior to making our way to the cellar. The cellar is very cool, you get to see the barrels with the wine and it's such a nice space to have the tasting. We really enjoyed the wines we tasted, two white, two red and one ice wine. Gus taught us the proper way to taste the wine and paired it with some great cheeses and meats. I personally bought the ice wine - it was delicious! Overall, this is a beautiful winery - the building looks like a castle! The wine is very yummy and that is a huge compliment from me as I usually am not a wine drinker. If you are visiting NOTL and looking to go wine tasting, visit Konzelmann and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
One of the many stops on Niagara on the Lake. Very accommodating and great practices during COVID. We made a reservation for a tasting and everything went smoothly. The staff was very informative in the offerings.
My wife and I visited Konzelmann on our "minimoon" in NOTL, and it was among our favorites of the many wineries we stopped at. We did the "Junk Food Tasting" and stayed around afterwards to try some others. All the staff were extremely warm and welcoming, and the estate is beautiful. Our guide gave a wonderful tour as well!
Great experience and wonderful wine! The peach wine is a must to try! Our server was amazing!
Wines are below average and over priced. Tasting service is rushed and curt. They seem to overbook with tours. I'd skip this one and go to another great winery in the region.
amazing wines since end 1980 - Herbert and his staff know the trade. A must when visiting Niagara wineries. My wife and I return bi annual to fill our wine cellar. Taste for yourself. Also great view of Toronto over the vine yard and Lake Ontario from the Konzelmann Lookout.
We had a private tour yesterday. The winery was beautiful and we felt safe during the entire experience. Huge shout out to Donna - she was amazing! Very knowledgeable about everything Konzelmann and passionate about all the wine & cheese pairings. We will definitely go back!
Visited the winery this weekend. We parked and was immediately hit with this smell. It was rotten and smelled like sewage. The tasting room was nice. The lady who helped us with the tasting was very informative and cheerful. The wines were okay. Peach wine is what they are known and to be honest it was refreshing.
Staff are friendly. Went to pick up a bottle of the Peach wine which can only be found here. The Peach wine is not too sweet and tastes just right.
The place seems nice and very beautiful. Unfortunately, we booked a tasting experience a week in advance and took the care to write them an email specifying that we would be with our baby. They took our payment and confirmed our reservation, but waited for us to arrive to let us know we could not come with our baby... They should have called us so we can plan something different... The woman at the entrance was really nice and polite but acting like she was doing us a favour to allow a refund... Anyways, we went at Palatine hills right after and got a way better experience. Highly recommending it !
Really great wine tour, staff was knowledgeable and friendly Peach wine was a nice treat Even if your not a big wine buff do visit just for the tour, lots of history and great views.
We had a great tour guide and all of the girls loved the peach wine!
Nice view from the observation deck, we can see all the way to Toronto. The tour was average, no ice wine for tasting, only late harvest wine, no cellar tour either, Inniskillin actually gave better tour.
Nice place to buy wine, peach wine a must and a great place on the patio to enjoy a glass of spirits and eats
Nice view , great service and wines!
Loved our experience at Konzelmann! The wines were fantastic, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and the staff was so lovely. Donna led our tasting and my husband and I were thrilled to have her. She was educated, informative and wonderful to chat with. We will most definitely be back and we highly recommend that everyone checks this place out!
Best peach wine in the world.
Great wine
Lovely place to stop and enjoy a glass (or bottle!!) of local wine.
Had a great tasting on the first day of Canada opening up again. Colin made my expierence very pleasant and enjoyed talking with him. Donna was very helpful in picking out wines to take home. They were both lovely.
Nice look and surrounding area. Highly recommend trying their Peach Wine. Only regret is not buying some. There were a many few fruit flies inside but hey it's wine and fruit country.
Great experience. Took my mother for mother's day. Learned a lot and had great wines and cheeses. Highly recommend the cellar tour. $15 for 4 wines and a charcuterie platter. Our guide Ken was amazing very knowledgeable and more than happy to answer any questions you have.
Konzelmann estate winery is the best brand of white wines. My favorite is peach wine and I order that occasionally. It's beautiful. Highly recommend this peach wine for summers. Kudos! Their staff and delivery is excellent. 5 start rating well deserved.
Loved the fire pit flight experience!
Amazing winery! And our tour guide was funny, informative and pleasant! And the wine was fantastic!!!
Great wine tasting experience, informative and friendly staff. The prices of the wines were also very reasonable.
This was a terrible experience. Actually it wasn't an experience at all. We arrived at our scheduled and prepaid booking time only to be told that no kids under 19 are allowed in tasting room as it is law. When I asked, how are restaurants and bars are operating then, they back pedaled saying that it was actually only Konzelmann policy (while a sign that read "children must be accompanied by an adult" hung in the background). This is ridiculous since my wife called the winery before booking and asked specifically about kids. What I think happened is that they were overbooked and made up an arbitrary excuse to kick us out to make room for larger party. Maybe their wines are good (we don't know since we did not get an opportunity to taste), but I will be staying away from all Konzelmann wines out of principle. Humiliating experience and total lack of professionalism.
Service was the worst of the 5 wineries we visited today; disappointed at Konzelmann Estates.
Nice scenery plus their ice wine is awesome
Great job Colin. Thank you
Samantha was a wonderful hostess! Had a wonderful birthday celebration here. Highly recommend!
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff made our wine tasting experience memorable. Found their team to be one of the friendliest among the wineries although many are friendly.
We ordered company presents and everyone was so helpful with the delivery and also adding personal notes with the wine! If you haven’t tried their wine, I highly recommend it! I have been to the winery a few times as well and it’s a great tour and you can see the lake through the vineyard! For now order on-line and if you can it’s definitely worth a summer visit!
January 2020 - Our tour guide was lovely and relatable. We tasted many wines which we enjoyed. The best pinot grigio I have tried! Update January 2021 - I've ordered wine from their website twice now, and both arrived in less than 48 hours. Great service.
Beautiful facility but underwhelming tasting experience. We ordered a Fall Flight experience and our server didn’t know much at all about the wines, pairings, etc.
This is by far my favourite winery in Niagara on the Lake. I have visited the winery on numerous occasions and the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Most recently my boyfriend and I did the Fall Flights experience. I would highly recommend!
Visit October 16, 2021. Great location on the lakefront, very well maintained grounds, lovely winery building. Did not take part in tasting but did purchase a few bottles. Well established and great selection. Although a bit busy at the …
First time enjoying this winery. Definitely recommend the out door pod experience with charcuterie. Great wines and the peach wine is a nice refreshing wine that's not too sweet.
Absolute worst customer service I have received. Received gift cards as a gift from one of their wine reps. Told that we can’t use them because of covid. Not a single thing done to remedy the situation after driving three hours to enjoy Niagara on the lake. Decided to leave and enjoy one of the other gorgeous wineries down the road.
Great experience.Staff were wonderful and attentive.Had the pitcher of peach sangria with charcuterie box sitting in the shade with stunning views over the winery to the lake, perfect.
Our group arrived late for the tour we booked, after having bike troubles en route. The manager met us outside, gave us a room to leave to securely leave our bikes, even got us a wrench to help change a flat tire. Then when he realized we'd missed the last tour, he gave us free flights of wines and credit to visit another day. Wine server were likewise friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Wine itself was varied, tasty and interesting. Never had peach wine before but liked it. Only drawback is that this winery was way busier than the other place we visited nearby, but with this service not really surprising.
Another must stop if in Niagara on the Lake. Their wine is excellent and very well priced. We liked it so much we signed to be wine club members and attended their wine gala in the winter. It also was an extraordinary event that we look forward to each year
Great winery to visit! Great wines with a great view especially with great weather!
We did the Estate Cellar Experience with wine consultant Mike D. and it was absolutely fantastic. Learnt about the winery, winemaking and wine and food pairing. Got to taste a few spectacular wines. Our favourites were the Reisling and Cab Franc. Highly recommend the tour!
Goof presentation. Wine was good. Yes I would buy
A beautiful winery with a detailed and insightful tour! I visited this winery with a few of my friends, and had heard stellar things about this winery from close family friends, and I was certainly not disappointed! The winery itself was absolutely stunning - as Niagara-on-the-Lake's only waterfront winery, it provided beautiful views of the grape vines with Lake Ontario in the background. It is a great place for a photo opportunity, particularly with its very photogenic observation booth. The building of the winery was also very gorgeous. The tour provided to my friends and I was top notch. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, with the ability to answer any questions anyone in our tour had. We toured the areas in which the wine grapes are pressed, aged, and bottled, providing an interesting look at a part of the process that one often doesn't get! The wine that was tasted was also delicious, but, above and beyond that, the tour guide provided us with a sampling board with various meats, cheeses and chocolate with which to sample with suggested wine pairings, a very satisfying and delightful experience! All in all, it was a great tour and a great winery! I would certainly recommend this to other people interested in this type of tour!
We did the dome experience and it was wonderful! Alex was an amazing host. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and winery and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would defiantly go back and recommend to everyone!
This was a birthday gift and it was a lovely way to spend a January afternoon. Our hostess, Kristen, was very pleasant and took the time to explain the flights and answer any of our questions. The setting was nice and the blankets that were …
Alex S. and Seth were both great today. Alex in particular answered some novice questions in great fashion. Even explaining why their special season drink does not work with pinot or shiraz.
Attended the cellar rat tour and was very impressed and pleased. Our tour guide Ben was very knowledgeable and friendly. Got to sample a good selection of wines (3-4 different types) and the sample sizes were perfect. Crackers and cheese are also provided as snacks. Really fun idea and at a cheap price of $15 per person!
Always a pleasure to see the friendly and helpful folks there
Pretty place but service is slow and somewhat insulting. Won't be coming back here as management are discriminatory on race
Tour was nice and the tour guide, Mike, was excellent. I'm not much of a wine drinker but I enjoyed the selection we sampled and the atmosphere.
This is my wife and I’s favourite winery at NOTL. They do a junk food wine pairing that we think is one of the most unique and memorable experiences at NOTL. The price of admission gets you a tour of the winery, a quick lesson on how to taste/sample wine, and then a four course junk food pairing. Each course comes with one ounce of a different in-house wine (one white, two red, and one ice wine). The cool thing is they always seem to change the menu up. Last time we came, we sampled popcorn, chips, a Reese’s butter cup, and milk chocolate Lindt truffle. This time they swapped the savoury stuff for a butter tart and half a mini cheesecake. The wine is great but the tart and cheesecake are some of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot. The guide walks you through the sampling one at a time and you really learn to experience the different flavours. Definitely recommend it! I believe they do two of these tours daily. Check the website for more info.
Great informative tour. Very clean and full bodied reds, sampled. Must definitely try their family reserve red. The winery is located by the lake, so it uses the lake effect wind to aerate the property as well they use organic soil food to feed the soil based on deficiencies. Quality and time taken, definitely shows through each tasting of the different wines. Will return, watch out for Saturday as it’s a very popular place to check out!
Knowledgeable staff and quaint tasting service. Outdoor area was nice and offered a
Went for a wine tasting experience and it did not disappoint. Our wine consultant - Abbie was quite cheerful and explained the history of the estate beautifully. We tasted a total of 4 wines (between the 2 of us) - rose, white, red and a peach wine sangria. Personally, rose was my favourite followed by peach wine sangria.
If we could give them 6 stars we would. This is a stunning winery, on an amazing piece of land. Gorgeous architecture, amazing & knowledgeable staff and outstanding wine. Our tour guide Julia was amazing. Ingrid at the wine tasting was fabulous. And don’t even get me started on Gus!... the best guy ever! We loved this place and we will be back before the years end.
Our favorite winery in Niagara on the lake! 6hr drive to get here! Ingrid made us feel like we were visiting family! She even offered to stay late to accommodate us! The late harvest wine is top notch and the unique chocolates they have are a great gift. (...if we don't eat them first) Special thanks to Ingrid for making our last trip a memorable one!
I love this estate! Great wine tour. Our wine tour guide was great, she was friendly and she knew a lot about wine, kudos Donna ! It’s affordable and they provide excellent service! This is our second time, first time was in summer time. Would definitely recommend this place for wine tour!
We visited for the Fall Flights tasting experience outside by the fire. We were a little nervous as the weather was kind of rainy, however, they had it set up nicely in a partial enclosure that kept us warm, dry, and cozy. Laura was our server and we enjoyed her service so much, she was kind and personable and funny. The wine pairings were amazing with the charcuterie and we appreciated how Laura guided us through each wine, how to properly taste it, and what it matched best with from the charcuterie board. GREAT portion sizes too, we were very impressed overall with the experience. Looking forward to returning in the winter for the winter flights!!

A good winery to visit and taste the wines. After tasting bought wines.
By far one of my favourite wineries at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Laidback and friendly servers, amazing views, and delicious wine - I recommend the peach wine if you haven't tried it yet. Tastings are $5 for 3 for table wines or $10 for 3 if you want their better vintages. They take off $5/bottle for each tasting!
Hi All, We had a fantastic experience with this great winery. We had a tour booked for the Sunday at 4pm. May 22 2016. Unfortunately even after leaving Toronto at 1pm, we still missed our tour, however on Monday we just showed up with our voucher and they did not hesitate to honor our it. We received AMAZING service, they did not have the tour that we had the voucher for, but they went above and beyond to set up something similar on such short notice. Ben ( who helped us with the voucher) was phenomenal, his customer service will be remember by us for along time! Brant our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. He kept tour moving at a good pace and was very personable. I look forward to another trip back very soon! Thanks to everyone at Kozelmann. PS. The wine was delicious!
Beautiful castle like winery Delicious peach wine
I had my proposal at the winery and everything went perfectly thanks to the staff here. From the tour guide to the manager everyone was super friendly and helpful. The wine tour was amazing, the wine was perfect, and I cannot thank the Konzelmann Estate Winery enough for giving myself, my fiance, and friends an unforgettable experiance.
Beautiful winery, delicious wine and excellent tasting. We really enjoyed our time here and Gus, who led our wine tasting, was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. The only disappointment was that even though they advertise themselves as a lakefront winery, you aren't really allowed to go anywhere near the lake since that is where the owner lives. Overall great experience
Would definitely recommend booking a cellar tasting! Mike D was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back!
Visit Nov. 28. This used to be our favourite vineyard in Niagara on the Lake. We booked a "seated tasting" to finish a weekend of enjoying the region. We were left waiting for over 20 minutes and very little of what we were sold was actually delivered. Every single element of the experience was a disaster. From the greatly inflated price (the cost of an entire day of "Taste the Season"), to the host who couldn't remember anything although he'd written it down, to the wine itself and finally the follow up, which has been zero... aside from a barrage of marketing emails that ended in needing to unsubscribe. We were asked to complete a survey, in which we voiced our concerns. No response. We even reached out to the VP of marketing and operations. Nothing. They obviously were happy with our money and didn't care at all about our experience. We still very much enjoy most Konzelmann wines and would recommend them. But don't bother going to the vineyard. It's not worth your time and especially your money.
We are from Cleveland Ohio. We were welcomed warmly and treated like old friends. I would highly recommend a visit to Konzellman Winery for anyone in the Niagara Falls area.
Awesome winery! We did blind wine tasting. Our guide Donna was just wonderful! Their wines taste a lot better than many other ones.
Amazing
If I could give 0 stars I would. Came in to d a tour and the guid was extremely rude and boarder line mean. Didn’t even stay for the whole tour. I came in with a group of 8 of my friends and from the second we walked in the door the man was yelling at us like a group of school kids. A wine tour should be fun and lighthearted. I felt like I was at boot camp and this guide was a drill Sargent. Will NEVER be returning. Would not recommend to anyone.
Had a great time here with my friends! A must visit when in Niagara. Junk Food pairing was pretty cool. Ended up grabbing a bottle of the Peach Wine at the shop.

I been here a few times already because the wine is great!, the wine tasting is great and overall the prices are amazing and the staff is great but I went there for the Niagara IceWine Festival (Discovery pass) and I am sorry but it was an horrible experience. The Lobster Bisque with a hint of spice served was meh, presentation was a 1 star, I am not asking for a full cup or a full bow of soup but Jesus I know you can do better than that( Not even close to the picture in your website looks like). The person at the counter was not friendly and finally the room was too small with only 2-3 tables. debating to go back for an event. I will get my wine but no an event, definitive no having my future wedding there.
Totally AWFUL experience at Konzelman’s We attempted to come here today, Nov 12 2021. Called ahead to ask if we needed reservations and were told no. We arrived and they told us that since we had kids we had to be in a separate room… fine. Then they told us we only had limited choice of wines in that room versus the regular choices. To go even further the receptionist was rude and started to argue with my husband ???? OMG!!! Discriminated against because we have kids? Little do they know we average about $100 in purchases at every winery we go to Horrible horrible and I will never ever buy this wine again
Nice friendly winery. Good selection of wines. Wine tours available on the hour.
No service. Sat for 15 minutes while the sole waiter chatted up the only other table of guests. Fed up. Left. Won’t go back.
Amazing experience, really nice staff. Beautiful place and excellent wine. Ask for Donna if you wanna have a great service!
