This Winery belongs to the category of Winery.
Outstanding venue, we attended a wedding ceremony, followed with a reception, good food, and time had by all!!
Great experience and lovely winery!
Beautiful winery with great tasting wine
Fairly young winery, very prettied up building and tasting room - somebody put a lot of money into looks. Wines range from ok to somewhat interesting - I would give them few more years to mature as winery and get their blending fine-tuned. Good winery, just not yet at NOTL or Bench level.
The venue itself is nice. However if you are looking for great customer service you will not find it there. I was part of a wedding party and had the rehearsal there. The owners son was so rude to us rushing us out as he had his mom's birthday in 15 min. Once at the wedding and taking photos they told us not to touch anything and followed us around to make sure we didn't disrupt any items. We did not feel any warmth from the owner and staff. It was open bar but the bartender did not pour full shots and when we asked for doubles we were advised they were not allowed to do that. They also did not have short glasses therefore no shots were served. In addition we were told we had to leave at midnight but the contract allowed for a 1am finish. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was disgusting!! The bridal party.
Beautiful winery, beautiful wine!
We had a wonderful time at Holland Marsh Wineries. Even though they had covid restrictions we were able to safely tour the inside facilities. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the different wines and described the process and taste of the wines amazingly. We got the charcuterie board along with the tasting and I'm glad because that was alot of wine for me. I would definitely visit again in the summer to see the leaves and fruit on the vines.
Just had my wedding here this past weekend. What an amazing venue and great hospitality! They made sure we were happy with everything and made sure we had a smooth evening. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding!!
Very beautiful place to spend time with family and taste special wine which you couldn't find in LCBO.
A hidden gem in the Holland Marsh. We found this winery by surprise. Alana is very knowledgeable and we walked out with 4 bottles. You have to try the Riesling and Reserve Merlot.
Amazing winning silver medal red wine! Beautiful venue and fantastic facility
Some woman called me names and used slurs when I tried parking in the one remaining place. Something about my baseball cap and pickup truck. Y'all take care.
Nice tour, nice tasting. And bottles to be purchased. Nice local winery.
Holland Marsh Wineries is an absolutely fantastic venue that I would recommend to anyone looking for a venue that has great character. My husband and I were married there just over two weeks ago (the weekend they were calling for flooding). Our ceremony was set to be outside but given the weather we had to opt to have it inside instead. To be honest I was dreading this as I always wanted an outdoor ceremony, but Diana and the Holland Marsh staff made everything absolutely perfect. They were accommodating with every request I had during the whole planning process, as well as the day of changes due to weather. They set up and tore down the ceremony seamlessly and quickly so that our guests could be served their appetizers and have cocktail hour. The grounds are stunning both inside and out and made for a beautiful backdrop for all of our wedding photos. Overall a 10/10 experience and if I were to do it all over again I would still choose Holland Marsh!! Thank you so much for a perfect wedding day.
Attended a wedding at Holland Marsh this past fall. Fortunately the weather was nice enough , the wedding was done outdoors on the green followed by a reception indoor. It was beautiful and I’ve been recommending to the winery to many since then.
Went there for Groupon winery tour. Great view. Cozy place and amazing taste.
A great find, about 45min North of Toronto. They actually grow their own grapes there. Had a wine tasting with charcuterie board. All reasonably priced. Worth the drive and a nice change from Niagara region.
Excellent wine tasting tour. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was great. Recommended!
Great venue, the food was exquisite, the staff were extra friendly with great service. All around highly recommend if you need a venue for your wedding or special event.
Very nice fantastic place for a wedding perfect place
Absolutely beautiful venue for a formal event. I was here for a women's luncheon and it was wonderful! As I looked around the property I couldn't help but imagine the space for a wedding. It has a beautiful rustic interior that is unlike anything else in the area. The outdoor space is beautiful and the view is just stunning. Highly recommend this space if you need to book a formal event. A few side notes - it felt just slightly overcrowded when I was there and the room had maybe 100 people in it. I also didn't love the bathroom set up. It's very small and it's awkward with only 3 stalls and a narrow hallway to walk down for one of them. I imagine it wouldn't be easily accessible for guests with disabilities. I like the upstairs space where you are able to look over the railing. While I'm not sure what you could do with that space for a wedding - it would be a beautiful opportunity for a photographer to get large overhead shots of your big day which would be really unique. I also imagine it would be beautiful to hang string lights up there as well. Lots of potential but also stunning as is.
We stopped by on a drive back from cottage country. Property was well maintained with vines as far as the eye could see. We were the only ones in the tasting room and Adrienne is an excellent sommelier who took us through quite a few different samples. Well worth the small detour off the highway to visit!
Beautiful place and the wine excellent.
Amazing local winery. Took the tasting tour. The guide was awesome. She was super knowledgeable on the day to day operations and kept everything upbeat. The wines were delicious. If you get a chance to visit please do. These wines aren't in your LCBO so don't miss the opportunity to try some superb wines.
A place to visit :friendly hosts, banchs everywhere for lovers, the vine right there, parking space, just the place for wine lovers. i'll revisit whenever i have time . the wine is ...."yours to discover "
Great place go to
The visit was amazing. A beautiful place with a wealth of knowledge. Thank you
Thank you for bringing out the sun as the wedding vows were being said
Beautiful grounds. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful grounds. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
One of the best wineries close to Toronto and had an amazing tour!
A fantastic venue for an event. We've photographed here and it's wonderful for a wedding – lots of photo spots and GREAT food – super chill staff.
Impeccable service with excellent tasting wine. They also host interior/exterior events. The little creek outside makes for beautiful pictures, which is also loaded with fish.
Love it! The wine is spectacular, the staff wonderful, the grounds are beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful afternoon. ????????
It's a beautiful winery. It's got a nice pond with some benches around and trees. They have nice party rooms as well. We tasted a couple of their wines and bought their ice wine jelly. I liked the winery. The staff was friendly and helpful and nice too. It's a good winery to spend some time and hang out with friends.
Nice place
Excellent place to relax & enjoy a summer day.
Sarah is an asset, great at handling communications for the winery.
Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable people, and excellent wine tasting.
????????????
excellent winery. well worth the drive (not even that far out of the city). great staff. i will definitely be a repeat customer.
Holland Marsh out does themselves again and again. The reserve riesling is amazing. I always look forward to coming here.
From the moment you step through the ornate lions head entrance, this family-run winery makes you feel like you are just that. Family. Noree(Nori) and his superb staff went out of their way to accommodate our every request, ensuring a wonderful tasting experience. The lush grounds provide for a relaxed and magical backdrop that are simply perfect for wine tasting and charcuterie boards featuring a broad selection of the winery's jams, cheeses, and meats. Of course, le pièce de ré·sis·tance was the wine itself, which we enjoyed immensely with dinner, later that very evening. Thank you again, Nori, Ariana(sp), and their "cousin" for an extraordinary afternoon. We will be back. John Sallie North Bay
We had a great private tour through a Groupon we purchased winery is small and staff are very personable. The wines are amazing and you can't get these at the LCBO so it's worth the visit.
Not too far out of the city. Staff was very friendly. Reasonable selection of wines. Good prices. Looks like a beautiful spot to host an event.
Was only there briefly. Very cozy.
Delicious wines, beautiful grounds, and wonderful service!
Was here for a wedding! Very cute venue!
This was an exceptional experience. Third time for me, second time for my family. A beautiful escape out of the city for a day and truly a hidden Ontario gem. Special thanks to Brittany and Sara for making the tour special and complete despite our late arrival. Highly recommend.
Did not like the Tasting Tour This winery is situated in a beautiful area, wines are delicious and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly! However, what was promised on the wine tour was slightly misleading and was overpriced for what you get. We booked the VIP Tour and Tasting at $30 per person. We had to have a minimum of 8 people but had only had 7 attend. Not a problem for us – we paid for the extra seat to make up the 8-person cost. At a grand total of $271.20 you get: - 20 min tour of the grounds – the tour was good. No complaints. - 5 different unmeasured wine sips at what I am guessing is half an ounce each? A typical tasting size should be about 2 to 3 ounces. So in the end you get maybe 1 glass of wine per person, per tour. - A charcuterie board, which was stated as locally sourced: “guests will be served premium charcuterie boards which include meats, cheeses and our famous wine-jellies which are all locally sourced”. When asked about the meats and cheese our tour guide either didn’t know where they were from (i.e. the buffalo and duck sausage) or said it was sourced from COSTCO!? (i.e. cheeses). This information should be available during the tour. The part that bothered me was that we still had about half of the charcuterie board left to eat and when I asked if we could have another “sip sample” of our favorite wine of the day, we were told no – but instead to go purchase a full glass of wine if we wanted too (at $8 to $10 a glass); this was even after paying for an extra spot that we did not get wine samples for. It feels like this location is more focused on micro-transactions than a full tour experience. If you going here, I would skip the tour and go up to the counter and ask the staff about their wines, buy a glass and walk the grounds. Maybe purchase a bottle to support this local winery. You would get much better value for your money doing this.
Great venue, product and amazing staff!
The tour was pleasant, professional atmosphere, educational, more than we expected. Job well done keeping people distanced and abiding Covid restrictions.
I enjoyed the experience, beautiful grounds to walk around and lots of fish in the pond. The wine was ok.
I wanted to have my son's baptism here . The place is a nice ideal location. But the customer service is pathetic!! Told me they can't book for August in advance and to contact them in March , so I waited until end of February. They gave me 2 weekends in August to choose from . Booked an appointment to see the place .Two days after our conversation my husband and I went in to see the place and to give them the deposit. She came out to greet us and said . "Sorry to let you know but the 2 dates that you are here to discuss were booked yesterday" ARE YOU SERIOUS! I do not believe it for a second . They are just money hungry people . They save their dates for weddings (because they make more money from it ) she said it herself . At least she would have had the courtesy to call and let us know instead of making us drive all the way there ! Horrible customer service and very rude .
Their process of making wine is top notch from start to finish, they definitely know their stuff and wine. I did a tour and was thoroughly impressed. I'm no sommelier, but enjoyed a variety of them. Some other products available, try one of the jellies.
Wedding! Very nice hall. They fit 10 tables of 10 people downstairs (I think) and the wedding party of 8. Upstairs was 4 tables of 10 people. Bunnies and turtles, toads and other wildlife outside. The ceremony ended up indoors because of the weird turns in weather. One feature is even though we were upstairs it wasn't necessary for us to come down for the games, dances and speeches -- we could watch from upstairs. One thing that I would be unhappy about were the dead bugs on the window sill upstairs beside our table... there were a few.
Holland Marsh Wineries is an exceptional establishement. The venue is beautiful, the wine is rich in flavour and the staff is always helpful with a nice smile on their faces. I would recommend Holland Marsh Wineries for weddings, tour guides or even just to hang out and drink a nice glass of your favorite wine.
We’re so happy that we chose Holland Marsh as our wedding venue! We originally booked in 2019 for an October 2020 wedding, but ended up postponing to 2021. Holland Marsh was so accommodating to us in all aspects, it took such a weight off of our shoulders while trying to plan a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. Melissa and the events team made sure our day went ahead smoothly, and everything was so beautiful. We had the best day, and can’t thank you all enough!
Amazing experience. The staff is great, wines are exceptional and the place is beautiful. Thank you!
Amazing experience... Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
This was my first wine tour and private tasting. It was such an amazing experience. Very informative and the wines are spectacular. During the private wine tasting the charcuterie board pair perfectly with the wine selections. The vineyard is well taken care of and the facilities are immaculate. The ladies working that day were so nice and friendly. An overall great experience.
Excellent winery. Small in size but not in taste. Alot of award winning winds, peaceful country setting and a great charcuterie board with the tasting. Great way to spend a few hours out in Newmarket. Will be back soon!
Beautiful property just in the heart of the Holland Marsh, great selection of local Canadian wines. Friendly folks and helpful in selecting your next bottle for your next occasion.
Awesome winery. We loved our guided tour.
Awesome winery. We loved our guided tour.
Great service. Great wine
Amazing Winery!!! The wines were super delicious and really well priced. The gentleman tasting with me was very knowledgeable, you could tell they are well trained on wine. The staff members were really friendly and the facilities extremely clean. If you are in the area this place is a MUST visit. Can't wait to go back!
My father recently passed and we held his Celebration of Life/Memorial Service here on June 09/18. It was AMAZING!!!! Melissa was so helpful and always available when I had questions, she gave advice when we needed and with all the options for setting up. All of our guests were complimenting on how absolutely beautiful the setting was and how perfect for a Celebration of Life. All of the Winery Staff were excellent, helpful, accommodating and friendly. I would highly consider holding another event here and give it my top recommendation to anyone. Their pricing is reasonable, they will work with you & help you with your needs UNLIKE Madsen's Gardens who caused me a MASSIVE amount of grief and heartache during such a difficult time. Thank you all at Holland Marsh Wineries and all of the staff for helping us create an absolutely perfect Memorial/Celebration of Life for our Dad!
view:4.5 star food:3.5 stars service: 1.5 stars new coop server/waiter didn't learn how to do good in the wedding banquet old experience staffs are in patient better don't choose this for wedding unless no choice
Beautiful place ! It was unfortunate that we couldn't go on a tour this time around (my fault I tried to book very last minute) but I certainly am looking forward to returning in the future. The staff was very helpful and we did get to do a tasting, which was wonderful.
My fiancé and I went for a wine tour and tasting. We had the option to add a charcuterie board with our wine, so of course we took advantage of this offer. The meat, cheese and crackers were delicious, but the part that stood out the most was the wine infused jellies. They were unbelievable. The wine was delicious as well. The tour guide was quite knowledgeable about the wine they served, and the process. The grounds were beautiful and the event room was gorgeous. Perfect place for a wedding or special event. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning again.
Great place. Amazing wine. Must see place.
great tasting and wine
Great selection of wines. The tour was very interesting. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great Atmosphere.
Holland Marsh Wineries was the perfect location for my wedding (Sept 6th), I had so many complements on the venue (people thought we were in a California Vinyard..not here in Newmarket!). Melissa and the events team went out of their way for my special day, especially during COVID. Everything was seamless, my new husband and I will definately be returning for a wine tour!
A very beautiful area, a must to revisit. If you are looking for a event hall, you will not be disappointed. Most importantly, their wine is incredibly high quality. Please buy local. Cheers
Educational with a real Canadiana tradition. Jade was a lovely hostess????
The owner's team here are coy scam artists. Be very wary. They will say one thing then do another. They have not signed me to a contract but are keeping a deposit I left with them - that they told me could be applied to any date. Now that I am trying to pick a date they are forcing me into a previously discussed but not confirmed date with them. They continually tell me "the owner is going to call you" but has yet to do so. I will be pursuing legal action against them, such a shame for a local business to be this sleazy. Be very very careful when booking with them they are aggressive con artists.
Went to a wedding here last month. Appetizers weren't that great but entree was good. The wine selection is pretty good too. The unfortunate thing is, despite provincial orders that only those vaccinated can attend weddings indoors, no one at the facility checked people's vaccination status and the staff wore face shields instead of proper masks.
Great, great place
Stopped by for a tour and tasting and I also heard that they host events. First off, they have spectacular hand crafted wines and i enjoyed their Gamay Baco blend and their Riesling. Secondly, they have beautiful facilities for hosting private functions and events. I want to host my wife's birthday there... They have wonderful staff, professional service, I'm sold.
We had an amazing day at Holland Marsh Wineries. The wine tasting was fun, they have both white and red wine. Each sample costs you $2.50 and if you buy a bottle the sample cost will be waived. We liked Cabernet Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, both are dry and fruity taste with abit of spice. Staff are amazing and so friendly, knowledgeable and always have smile. This place is great for photo shooting as well, they've well decorated the wine yard and there is a nice pond with walking deck. The club house is good for events and parties with view of wine yard. Lots of parking spot available.
Great wedding venue
Great place great wine.
Beautiful event space, fabulous food
What an amazing Experience. We just happened to stumble upon this place. We were greeted the moment we walked in, and had a nice flight of wines. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and gave us excellent pairing ideas. Picked upa bunch of wines. Thanks, Holland Marsh WIneries!
A really nice little tour and a great wine tasting. The atmosphere is great but not snooty or pretentious. Really friendly and welcoming.
A place to visit :friendly hosts, banchs everywhere for lovers, the vine right there, parking space, just the place for wine lovers. i'll revisit whenever i have time . the wine is ...."yours to discover "
Fantastic Wines and priced nicely! Definitely my favourite Ontario Winery, thanks for the great tasting!!
Wines were delicious, Staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend this winery, in my opinion better than most of the wineries down in Niagara. Will be coming back for sure! Try their fuller bodied reds
Great hidden gem! Would definitely come back again
Went there for a wine tasting, great experience, our host did a great job explaining the wine making process and lead us through the samples of the different wines they produce, we enjoyed our samples with a cheese platter, I highly recommend trying
Superior. The wine is great! The place is cozy
Experience was subpar. The tour was 45 min indoors. The other tours I've been to were outdoor and really gave the rustic feel of of a vineyard/ winary. This is not the experience we would recommend to others. After the tour was over it started raining and we were heavily suggested to leave the premises. This is an updated edit to give some context to the reply from the business. Although some of the party was late there were those who were ontime who did not get anything but and indoor tour. Being the designated driver because I don't drink I was looking forward to the tour more than the tasting. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we could not come ontime. I appreciate the business allowing those who were late to join especially due to alot of businesses during covid being very strict about reservation times. I don't expect the business to make any special exceptions or accomodations for anyone who can't come ontime. I didn't personally see anyone drinking anything other than what was being served at the tasting. Once we were told to leave because of the wedding photos most of us left while the others were waiting for their ride share. I can't comment on what I did not experience.
This is our Zen place, have been here three times in the last five weeks. We took new folks every time that we went back and they all had enjoyable experiences. Great staff especially Daniel
Very beautiful winery, the service was phenomenal. Our guide, Aram, was excellent and extremely handsome. I will definitely be back.
Great visit. Nice wines and knowledgeable staff. Norrie helped us with our tasting selections and we purchased three bottles that were very good
Great time, very helpful. Fun wine tasting with my bridesmaids. ** Just had our wedding here August 4th 2018 . Amazing beautiful breathtaking. More than I could have dreamed. The staff is amazing. Konrad the bartender was great , always making sure things were going ok. The staff is friendly, helpful they were there all night to make sure our day and night was everything we dreamed of. And of course The wine is amazing. Thank you for a memorable wedding day****
Professional and cozy family winery offering their own VQA wines. Winery tour was interesting. You can taste different sorts of wine made in house. Recommend to visit.
Great people and great wine! Can't get any better then that. Take a tour and tasting.
1 hour wine tour and tasting - really lovely experience. Tasted 3 red and 3 white all with various bodies/sweetness. They threw in a wine infused chocolate truffle (OMGoodness Soo delicious- locally made and sold in the winery) to go with the desset wine. Afterwards for a tiny fee you can sample additional wines...but they wave the fee if you buy a bottle. Very reasonably priced wines. I bought 12 and they threw in a free wine of my choosing. I would definitely recommend for groups or a date. On top of that you can stay and enjoy the property (pond, waterfall, benches, chairs, walk through the vineyard) you can purchase meat and cheese trays to enjoy with your wine during the taste testing or when it's all done.
Enjoyed my tour very much. Very personable and pleasant tour guide. Would recommend. Delicious wines.
Please do not make the mistake of booking your wedding with these people! Due to extreme circumstances my son would not have been able to attend his own wedding and asked to postpone the date. They would not accommodate him and just kept his deposit. They were not at all reasonable or helpful at this very difficult time for a young couple.
An incredible winery with a beautiful venue attached. I have an incredible time here every visit. The staff do an incredible job making sure you are taken care of the second you walk in. This is the only wine I buy now and their jams are perfection. Thank you Holland Marsh Winery!
Do not recommend for a wedding. First, I'll say the venue is beautiful, which is why we originally booked it for our wedding. It's private, the wine is good, and the vineyard / inside is beautiful. However, we were one of the unfortunate ones to have booked with them for a 2020 wedding, and then Covid hit. I won't get in to details, but if you're looking for a venue that cares about you, or your day in the slightest, this is not it. Hopefully a similar situation doesn't happen to you and you're able to have your dream day. But I had to at least warn future couples of our personal experience.
Had the opportunity to visit this hidden gem. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a variety of wines at this tasting. We had the pleasure of being served by Melanie. We had a round of whites and red, to which Melanie did a great job of explaining the various wines while we enjoyed our cheese board. We ended up settling with with the Sauvignon Blanc (White) which we enjoyed very much. We even stayed for a bit and enjoyes a great chat with Melanie and Collin. Great dtaff and great service. I would highly recommend this place especially if you do not wish to make the trek to Niagara.
It was a very nice experience. Alana was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very highly recommended.
Enjoy every experience I have at Holland Marsh Wineries. It was amazing to sit on the patio with our cheese platter and wines listening to the music. Just fantastic!
I have to say, I did not know about this little gem until my father took me there a couple months ago. It's a beautiful venue, and the people working there were all amazing. We did a number of tastings with Aram, and he was really great at providing recommendations on wine selection and answering all our questions. I didn't get a chance to go on any tours because they were already booked, but I'll just have to go back another time!
Couldn’t be happier to haven chosen Holland Marsh Winery for our special day! It is an absolutely stunning venue from the vineyard, to the pond and their rustic clubhouse. The event coordinator Melissa was wonderful to work with - she ensured that the entire process from the day we met her to our big day went seamlessly. Our wedding day was picture perfect and it wouldn’t have been without her and her team’s hard work and extra care. Thank you for making this day so unforgettable and wonderful!
Very generous wine tasting ! 6 wines tasted with a tour of the facilities and extraordinary host Victoria! Wines of very good quality with a Gold Medal winner for their Merlot 2011! Got tickets through “Wagjag” internet site for wine tasting, inexpensive and worth the visit!! Had much fun!!
I booked the enhanced tour for 12 people on my wife’s 40th birthday. The events staff - Adrianne and Mellisa were outstanding. The plan changed several times and they were happy to adjust accordingly. Their professionalism and warm demeanours really put the day over the top. The enhanced tour was exceptional, perfect length, perfect wine, and good vibes all around. This place is a must visit! The wines are top shelf. Thank you again Holland Marsh winery. Cheers to you.
Stunning wedding venue and fantastic team to work with. Would highly recommend!! Can't wait to come back for a wine tour and reminisce our wedding day.
Great location for a wedding venue! Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, outdoors and indoors Holland Marsh Wineries was the perfect location for our wedding. We couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out.
It was nice to see the clean grounds, especially since you have to drive by a lot of junkyard properties to get there. Their store was clean and very nice, but their wine lots and vintages were limited. Unfortunately we got a bad taste in our mouths and had to leave and we did not even get to taste their wines! The staff was giving special care to a group signed up for a tour, which is great honestly I support that, HOWEVER that doesn’t mean walk-ins should be treated like low class unwelcomed folk. Regardless, our group was still ready to spend a few hundred dollars on wine, accessories and wine jellies, even before a tasting. We were even looking to order a cheese and charcuterie board. Then I was told it’s $2.50 per tasting NOTE: this is NOT indicated on their website (see pic) but that amount would be waived per bottle purchased. So I told the sales rep that I was sure I wanted 2 bottles and wine jellies, but I was interested in the 3RD bottle, and would he be inclined to give me a 3RD tasting or even a SIP so that I can be sure I like the wine before committing on the extra bottle. Note: there were many open tasting bottles. This was a $23 bottle and would have added to my order. I was told NO, and given a rundown on math, I know how to add! The sales guy was pretending he did not understand that I was asking for one free sip! He just kept repeating it is $2.50 per tasting and waived per bottle “purchased” only. We had our wine & merchandise ready for checkout to PAY with money in hand, easy sale, a group ready to drop good money during this COVID economy, but apparently they felt that $2.50 was more beneficiary to them. It’s not about the $2.50 charge it’s how they treated us. So for the principle alone, we chose to turn down tastings, and our entire purchase. PS we were not the only ones who walked out that day! There were others who walked in then left in the 40 minutes we were there - though to be fair I don’t know their reason. The next day, we went to Niagara and spent a load of money on the Niagara wine region, & felt very good about supporting them since every winery was friendly and welcoming! EDIT: NONE of the Niagara wineries (big or small) charged us for a tasting of their wines! They said it’s their job to allow the public a tasting of their great wines! The owners reply convinced me we did the right thing by walking out after our bad experience! We did not come in to taste and leave, perhaps the owner didn’t read that part. I had my items on the counter to PAY & 3 others were making up their minds on what wine to buy! Lost 4 good customers, keep the $2.50!
Such a wonderfully scenic place! If you're there when Norie is in, you'll get to chat with one of the most friendly people you have ever met! Try a serving of their mulled wine (hubby did) or the Fleur des Marais (I did!) and your palate will be treated to two absolutely stellar taste experiences! Be nice to yourself and visit this winery!
Excellent
Visited for the first time, and did a tour & tasting. The winery is beautiful, and all wines are very, very good. We got a cheese board that included outstanding cheeses, crackers and spicy jams. The tour host, Erin, is amazing, professional and made this experience awesome. I will definitely go back in the summer to see the vines all dressed up!
White wines are the best. Awesome store and open on statutory holidays.
Thank you Groupon for exposing me to this lovely winery, and GREAT wines!! Even though I had driven passed the sign on the 400 highway SOOOO many times, I'd truly (sadly) never seen it! Who knew!?!? D-oh!
Visited a few times now, today we went for a valentines tour and tasting. It was awesome!!! We had a flight of 6 tastings, delicious, and also purchased the charcuterie board to pair with the wine. Sarah was our guide, she's so good at her job, very knowledgeable , extremely friendly and perfect for this type of career! The wine is fabulous, we are very impressed by the quality and taste. This is definitely a hidden gem that people need to get to know about. We are regulars now
I would like to thank Holland Marsh Winery, especially Diane, for a wonderful afternoon holding my husband's celebration of life. It was a perfect afternoon.
The tour and tasting was a good experience
An absolute gem. Boutique winery located in the Holland Marsh with top quality wines and friendly knowledgeable staff.
It was a beautiful place to visit and spend an afternoon we will definately plan on going back and relaxing on the deck and enjoying wine and cheese. Lots of variety of wine and reasonable prices
Fantastic location, super friendly and knowledgeable people. Great selection of terrific wines. Competitively better than traveling to Niagara. Victoria provided an awesome tour finishing with a superb tasting session hitting perfect notes on all the samples. Thank you will return again.
Great selection of wines and customer service. Pricing is good and views is spectacular. Definitely will come back.
We loved the winery, the wine selection sampler they had for us was great, also the cheese platter was delicious. Aram walked us through the entire wine making process from planting, harvesting, wine making and also answering all our questions. He is very knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful for pictures. The winery is owned by Armenian, and Armenians are known for their wine making skills since 6000BC. I definitely recommend visiting Holland Marsh Wineries. Thank you Aram and team!!!
Cute place with nice wine tasting tours
Beautiful space! Really bad staff if you are trying to book a wedding there. Also they do not close the venue to the public if you are getting married at this location. They still do wine tours through the ceremony space.
