Good food, nice gift shop, good soft serve. I've never seen soft serve with all these different flavors. It was just fun to try it. Why doesn't everyone do this with their soft serve ice cream!?!

Did the wine tasting and tour for $10. Tour was short and sweet. Tasting you get to try 5 samples. I like their wine!

July 16, 2017 Had dinner at the winery tonight. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our meal. I had the chowder, which I must say was delicious. We had fish and chips. The fish was good, but it would have been better with homemade French fries instead of frozen. They brought our chowder and soups and right after brought our main course. I would only rate 2 stars because the kitchen service there sucks. I would not go back.

Wine tasting section is nice. The gift shop feels more commercialized. Not much in the way of authentic Newfoundland crafts. Just my opinion. Please check it out for yourself.

This trash of food made me nauseous, my fathers roast beef sandwich was drenched in gravy . Would not recommend to anyone even my enemy

What is wine made from berries? Took the 1/2 hr wine tour and tasting to find out. If you like wine then we highly recommend taking time to check this out for yourself. After stopped in at their restaurant for appetizers and a glass of wine served by Phil, one of the friendliest servers. Loved it so much we'll be back in a couple of weeks for supper. OH! If you happen to also like ice cream, check out their wine infused ice cream ????????

What a fun experience. The three servers at the tasting room were so much fun and they really made it a great experience. We did purchase several bottles of wine for gifts and to drink as we travel Newfoundland.

Do you like wine, ice bergs, berries, and ice cream? If you do, this is the place for you! Wine made with icebergs and berry, and an option to have it in ice cream form? I spent almost an entire rainy day there! The winery is wheelchair friendly, however the indoor access from the winery to restaurant there are a few steps. You would need to access the restaurant or winery from their individual entrances.

Food was good but not great. Service was very slow. Don't wait for a bill, just go up to the counter to pay. They didn't tell us that and we waited awhile. Also we wanted to do a wine tasting but although we hung out in front of the tasting bar trying to get someone's attention, the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than in helping us. We left disappointed, without trying the wine.

Wine was average at best. Hard to taste as the samples were so small. Certainly nothing like wine tasting in the states.

Lots of really cute souvenirs! Store is very organized and well stocked. Enjoyed the wine tasting too! The attached restaurant has delicious food with friendly service. Will go back!

Pass by the restaurant to try the wine flavored soft serve! It’s more like berries flavored ice-cream (doesn’t contain alcohol) like I thought ????.

Not enough stars to be given to this place.What an experience. The staff were all amazing. Donna was our wine tour guide and was awesome. Great wine, great gifts, amd tons of laughs. If you are here you need to go to this Winery Tha ks for an awesome afternoon

We stopped in for the wine tasting and tour. Very impressed by the wine! The tour was good, but short. Picked up a case of our favorite wines. We didn't try the restaurant. Definitely recommend this fruit winery.

My wife and I had a great time here Did the winery tour - which was very informative and interesting Also did the wine tasting with Donna which was well done, she explained each wine prior to us tasting it and had some fun along the way. Will definitely be back to Auk Island Winery when we come back to Twillingate for another visit

(Translated) Price correct and it is always interesting to taste but machine well oiled for tourists without real explanations. We taste and that's all. The gift shop is a little tourist trap with things that are played locally but made in China or the USA (Original) Prix correct et c'est toujours intéressant de pouvoir goûter mais machine bien huilée pour les touristes sans vraies explications poussées. On goûte et c'est tout. La boutique de cadeaux est un peu attrape-touriste avec des choses qui se la jouent local mais fabriquées en Chine ou aux USA

Wine tour is really short and not very interactive. I would skip the tour and just do the tasting. Our group loved the tasting and wanted to enjoy a glass so we went to the attached restaurant and were told we couldn't order just a glass of wine which we thought was strange for a winery. Staff were great though!

Wine tasting was great with many wines and there is something for any wine lovers tastebuds you will not be disappointed at all. Went upstairs to the restaurant were the staff were knowledgeable and very happy and friendly food tasted great I'd recommend the cod au gratin

Love their wines and like trying all their awesome flavors! I've never been to Twillingate (even though I'm a Newfie) but it's on the bucket list! I've ordered several dozen bottles in the past and had them shipped to AB. They always arrived safely and it was nice to enjoy a piece of the rock from here!

Wine tasting was great. And a lovely gift store. The restaurant is nothing like u would expect a winery to have. It's not a fancy place. So don't expect to go here for a nice dinner. The wine soft serve just tastes like berry ice cream, I probably wouldn't have it again for $5

Great place to stop in on a roadtrip. Can't comment on the restaurant or ice cream, we didn't try those. However, we did the wine tasting and bought some nice souvenirs from the well-stocked gift shop. Nothing but positives from that standpoint. Some of the fruit wines offered were actually not too shabby, and a welcome alternative to grape wine. It's fun, go try some wine!

Great place to stop by (especially if the weather isn't so great)! The wine tasting they do is very good and they help you choose ones to try based on your interests/tastes (they even do little tours, but we ended up not doing that).
