Bought some beers that were for my parents when the short blue haired girl said, “you are in enough that I dont have to ID you, some of the staff here would call that functional alcoholism” when literally more than half of the alcohol I buy from this place is for my parents. All of the other staff is friendly and provides proffesional customer service, but the remark from the short blue haired girl was so blatantly rude that I didn’t even know what to say back. If you go to willow park, avoid her.

I was there today and was looking to try some new scotch. A gentleman helped me decide on which one to buy. He spent some time telling me about some of the different brands and regions and some that he’s tried. He really took the time to help me pick and I really appreciated all of his knowledge! I wish I got his name, he was wonderful! Every time I go here the staff are beyond amazing and so helpful. They have a great selection and the store is beautiful!

Willow Park is a good spot to check for non-standard product and they often bring in new stuff if you want to try something you haven't had before. Most importantly, their staff are super knowledgeable, especially about wine, and can make informed, useful recommendations for your next bottle. They won't upsell you like a greasy salesman, if you give them a bottle budget, they can keep you in your price range.

I did go in for a specific wine and was approached almost instantly to see if I needed help. The employee looked on their systems to see if they carried it and then went and asked the manager if they planned on carrying it. I will be back to this location.

Wine selection is quite good, an interesting number of cold specialty beers, scotch and also a non-alcohol section of hard to find cooking items (spices, vinegar etc.). It's well worth the visit.

Yesterday I went to willow park to purchase some wine, upon checkout The cashier asked to see my ID. I then realized I forgot my wallet in the car, I usually pay using my cell phone, I’ve been going to this liquor store since I moved to Harbor-landing 7 months ago and did not expect to get carded, I was not asked the last couple times I visited. I then excused myself to get my wallet and returned to the same cashier who attended to me. I gave the gentleman my ID and expressed “I was a regular customer and don’t usually get carded” after which another staff member across the counter, while tending to another customer, yelled out “you should be expected to have your ID checked at a liquor store”. I was embarrassed and visibly upset because she was talking loudly from the other counter. I then replied: “I am right across from you I can hear you perfectly, there is no need to yell at me, here is my ID.” My cashier, who realized I was visibly upset, jokingly said: “you should be happy we asked to check your ID, it means you look younger than you are”. I then replied, “I guess so”. Then he asked for my membership number and continued checking me out. At that point, as she finished checking out her customer she then started yelling at me again, saying: “you need to leave now and you will be banned from the store because of your Asian attitude.” At which point I responded, “Excuse me”? I felt targeted and racially profiled. Yes I am not a Canadian but I came to this country because I believed this is country is free of discrimination. As the store supervisor was walking toward the counter, she then repeated, “You need to leave right now!, and banned from returning to this store.” I was shocked and looking at the supervisor in disbelief, thinking to myself finally someone is coming to stop her. Instead the supervisor said, “You need to leave now as I need to protect my staff ”. I felt so powerless, vulnerable and bullied, there was no other customers in the store at that moment, it was me against 4 staff members, with so many emotions are going through my head, I was frozen and couldn’t move. I just could not believe this was happening; all I wanted was some wine so I can enjoy my evening. I then ran out of the store shaking and in tears, and walked to my car with my tail between my legs. I don’t know if I will be able to step into this store again after this traumatic experience. One day later these events keep playing in my head and can't seem to get my emotions together. I would not recommend anyone to go to this store again because you might just get treated the same!!!

I have only experienced great times here. The staff is very well knowledged of all their products. Want to try something new? Just ask an employee and state what you like/dislike and they show you options. They can even pick out your price range of needed. I am very picky with my taste to be honest and they know exactly what to suggest. This has happened on many occasions coming to this location. Who ever was working this evening was great help. I would want them as employees for sure! It gets better. They have a great selection of whiskey/wine and know their stuff. They also have excellent glassware that would be a great conversation starter. Saved the best for last. They have sales too. Even on the expensive options.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shop. I hadn't been in it before because I thought it would be expensive. I was looking for a Grey Monk wine and I asked an employee-they didn't have that one but she asked my likes about Grey Monk and suggested 3-4 similar wines and kept within my price range. Not much of a drinker, far from a connoisseur! Staff has helped with numerous purchases for Christmas celebrations and a difficult wine preference. Been to Sangria night and California wine tasting. Both a great time. Scott had many stories to share of his world travels as well as the gal from Alberta. Prices are comparable and many brands and flavours to choose from. Never had a problem with ID or payments. 20 yr old hasn't either. Favorite place to go.

I used to come here all the time. I would chat with the staff quite a bit too. They're all really friendly and there's a lot of different drinks I haven't seen before there and there's usually someone there that knows quite a bit about them. I also used to see one of the staff at the bar quite frequently and we would drink together for a bit which seems like something that could only happen in a small city/town.

My wife and I moved from Calgary to Regina in the Spring. Once we finally settled into our new home, we were so pleased to find out the Willow Park Wines & Spirits had a store in Regina very close to our home. On our first visit to the store, we had the good fortune to meet Kathryn Woods. Kathryn had also recently relocated from Calgary to Regina. What a wonderful, personable, knowledgeable, service oriented leader. Because of Kathryn we are not likely to shop anywhere else in Regina for wine and spirits. Last week, we bought tickets to and attended a Negroni Tasting featuring Black Fox Distillery (tasting of gin produced in Saskatoon by John Cote and family). The event was first class from time of booking tickets on-line to the event itself. I have attended many like events in the past. The interaction between John and Kathryn was informative and educational. We can't wait for the next event (a California Wine Tasting). Keep up the great work Willow Park and Kathryn. You are both great assets to the city of Regina.

Hi, I am not the person who like to review the experience. I have been coming to this location since last couple years. I am a regular customer of this location and you can find it out from my cell number that I provide each time I visit this store. Yesterday around 8 pm I was at the store with my friend to buy couple beers. At check out this girl requested for ID, I did not remember that It was in my car. Later on I found my ID from my car and came back to her. When she asked for ID she was not polite, no smile nothing so I thought she just doesn’t like brown people. It was my MISTAKE that I thought she is being racist, but she was not. She was just doing her job. But I forgot my ID and did not remember that its in my car I was very frustrated. And I apologize to her as well. I say SORRY to that girl. Now when I had my ID with me, I picked couple beers and went to different cashier ( old guy with white french beard) as I was upset with the girl. He asked for my ID, I showed him my ID. He said that “its not my ID, its not me in the picture”. I was surprised and I am surprised right now as well because this is happening very first time with me. He completely refused to serve me. I showed him my multiple IDs, but then he even refused to talk to me. He took his register and went upstairs. I was upset and embarrassed. There was another employee as well who witnessed everything. He asked me why did I think that staff is racist? I agree with him now. I shouldn’t have thought. Then I asked him to call the manager. And he replied that the guy who refused to serve me is the MANAGER. I felt so much helpless that Now I have decided that I will never ever step in to this tore again, and make at least my friend not to go to this store again to get embarrassed by the people who don’t have enough knowledge to recognize Government provided IDs. I hope that your manager learns to understand and recognize government IDs or you have lost one of your customer already and probably will loose more. Good luck!!

Unfortunately this place doesn't have a consistent customer service. I've seen people said that the staffs are friendly, but my friend have been treated poorly by a staff and the supervisor. She was forced to leave the store because they say she have 'an attitude' towards the staff, who wasn't even dealing with her purchase at that time. And the supervisor didn't even try to save their customer satisfaction, instead he stated that he needs to protect his staff. This is upsetting to hear as someone who work in the hospitality industry.

Great independently owned store, conveniently located in Harbour Landing. Have had several great experiences here. In a recent experience a bag break and a bottle of wine smashed. The cashier replaced it for me with no hassle. Exceptional customer service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

I really like this place. They have a good selection with items that are hard to find. I wish the rum selection was a bit outside of the beaten path as it seems that you can mostly buy the same brands everywhere but otherwise good.
