Such a good wine shop, staff are super knowledgeable engaging and very friendly. Really good selection, everything from delicious under $20 bottles to delicious expensive bottles. Small but tasty selection of beers and Spirits as well.

Great selection, but with the early closing time it’s not much better than Liquor Depot which is couple minutes away. I mean, it closes at 7.

Great place ! Extremely good customer service, really friendly staff. They are happy to help. It’s kinda expensive but the area is generally more expensive. They have great selection of wines and spirts . Few really good beers. I would highly recommend checking out the place!

I have been exclusively buying my wine from Market Wine since they opened in the University district. My experiences there have been nothing short of phenomenal. Every????single????staff???? is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine. I have NEVER purchased a bottle that hasn’t been amazing. But I digress, this review is all about my experience at a private wine tasting. I’ve attended many of their weekly Saturday afternoon tastings and they have been so fun and I’ve learned so much. But last night Sarah organized a private tasting for my husband and I and three other couples. It has so far been the highlight of my ENTIRE summer. It was so well organized! We received welcome bubbles when we arrived and then made our way up to the tasting room where they had laid out individual charcuterie boxes and prepared 6 wines for us to taste. We did a brown bag “blind” tasting and played a game that Sarah had prepared. It was amazing!! And obviously every wine we tasted was so delicious and unique. I cannot stress enough my gratitude for Sarah and Market Wines for making our private tasting so memorable and incredible. The game was interactive and tested our taste buds and noses. I had an absolute blast and so did all of our friends. Thank you Sarah!

Beautiful store, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always come here if I want to discover a new wine (or even a new craft beer!) my only complaint is that the prices are a bit high but that's to be expected for good wine.

At first glance, this place seems kinda small because the total number of wines isn’t huge. But every single wine they have has been carefully selected, which automatically makes it better than the big liquor stores. So far we’ve found it hard to go wrong with anything the stock! They also have a great selection of beers. But, as with the wines, don’t expect any of the cheap domestic stuff.

I asked Market Wines to create a blind tasting for a group of friends and they went above and beyond - the selections were diverse and the staff (especially Aidan) took extra care to make sure none of the wines were revealed by wrapping them, covering the answer sheet and even the till! It was so awesome and we would definitely do it again. Great selection and great prices!

Has quickly become our go-to spot for wine, beer and spirits. Dylan, Nico and the team are always very helpful with great recommendations regardless of the price point. Excellent selection and you can tell they’ve taken the time to make sure the shelves are only stocked with products they stand behind. Plenty of excellent local craft beers too. Can’t go wrong coming here!

We’ve been SO lucky to live near the University District MW location since they opened. They’ve upped our wine game with their huge selection and have supplied lots of our sunny summer days with great beers and coolers. They definitely have the best prices on beer which is key for us as students and always have features/testers on the growler bar so you can even try before you buy! This Shiny Things IPA is just another slam dunk recommendation from the awesome staff yesterday at MW and I already can’t wait for the next one!

I used to absolutely love shopping here, however since Dylan left the beer selection and knowledge of diverse styles has fallen off significantly. The customer service has also taken a large hit. While still a good place to shop for wine, it's no longer my go to for beer or whisky.
