Finally, after months of trying to book this, we enjoyed a lovely country drive and visit with dear friends at this quaint meadery owned by friends of ours. Experienced a nice little tour of the meadery, exploring, learning and of course a delightful tasting to awake our palettes! Needless to say we came home with goodies including bevies, mead, honey and balms to last us awhile.....maybe? Probably not enough but stay tuned LOL. It is a bit of a drive from Calgary so plan accordingly but very easy to find. As they don't have a full restaurant, bar etc. They do have picnic tables and a little deck im sure is delightful on a beautiful Alberta summer day. Pack snacks, picnic, food however the meadery tasting is perfect enough for exactly that..tasting without leaving their guests tipsy plus they do serve little crackers and cheese. Very excited for this gem of a place to continue to grow, create more jobs for Albertans and check out their website where to shop locally at markets, local CO-OPS etc. Thanks for having us Fallentimber & family !

Went for the first time a few weeks ago, this place is a hidden gem! Delicious mead, super friendly employees, and comfy hang out spot with the great hammocks as well. A taste is only $10, and you receive the glass for free as a souvenir! Can’t wait to go back!

I bought some of Fallentimber's Session Meads (the Honey Buck, Meadjito, Mr. Pink & Seadóg) and LOVED them. Such refreshing, enjoyable drinks! I enjoyed them so much that I guess I'm a "mead person" now and picked up a bottle of their Traditional Mead and I have to say I'm in love! I'm so excited to try more of what Fallentimber has to offer!

Absolutely incredible experience. Chris and Dan have quite the operation going out here and such a homey atmosphere. Their front end staff was amazing and their property was stunning! Thanks for the amazing time out there this weekend, everyone! I will definitely be back!

I have to say that this company has the BEST customer service and the BEST product in Alberta. Thanks to Carrie my wife and I get to enjoy a bottle of Saskatoon mead with supper...I am so happy!!!!

This is more a review of their products than the meadery as I haven't visited yet! But my friend Bryan and I just spent last weekend drinking Meadjitos and Mr. Pink to cool down and I realized I forgot to leave any form of review. Everything made by this meadery is liquid gold both literally and figuratively. Whenever my friends and I get together for some Magic the Gathering there is usually a bottle or two of your products there. Super excited to see 4-packs of mead in more stores as well!

2 hours well spent. We visited a few days after the honey had been harvested, so plenty of activity going on. Lots to learn in a relaxing setting. Great scenery on the drive there too.

We found this lovely little spot by accident and had to stop in. What a beautiful place. The owners were very friendly and answered all our questions. They gave us a tour and told us all about the wine, their honey bees and more. Did a little beer and wine tasting and spent a little time just chilling out. Came away with some beer, a bottle of fabulous wine and some yummy honey and somehow managed to fit it all on the motorbike. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. We are taking my folks who are visiting from Scotland out there this weekend. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I experienced my first taste of Mead here, it really opened up a new beverage category somewhere between wine and beer, it can be both sweet or dry, yet very flavorful and refreshing. Fallentimber really hits the mark with their products, in quality and flavor. I highly recommend them.

Had a blast here on the way back from Edmonton. Definitely a good stop off if your taking the 22 North or South on a weekend. Stoped here in the winter and the CEO was out serving hot coco and hot dogs while kids where playing hockey on the pond and sledding down the hill

Lovely and cosy, we felt at home as soon as we entered the tasting room. Stayed for hours filling up on mead and learning about the bees and the brewing. Dog friendly! We can't wait to go back and enjoy the patio and outdoor pizza oven in the summer!

Wow... We just moved to the area and I had a friend/cousin suggest trying the local mead. As my husband and myself are both hobby beekeepers it sparked out interest. Just finished my first bottle of their "Hopped Mead" and I'm just starting my first sip of their "Ginger mead" session. All I can say is wow... you have produced a fantastic product here and I think I just fell in love with my new favorite drink. Also... do u sell it by the pallet load? as I'm sure this will not last long once someone tastes it. I'd love to volunteer and learn some of your process.

Amazing hidden gem!!Owner is very nice and accommodating. The wines are superb, love the organic honey and organic hand cream. Used the hand cream right away and soothed my hands. With the ongoing pandemic, it is nice to support local business!!!

The Meadjito is fantastic, but do not sleep on their other products! The vintage series meads are especially delightful and unique. Many meads are dessert-sweet, but these have a character and drinkability that make them a true alternative to grape wine or spirits (depending which product you choose) when you want something different. The Fallentimber products are on par with the meads from Scandinavia, and is one of my favourite local products. Also don't miss the tour! The passion and care that they put into their meadery truly shows. Ask ALL the questions, and enjoy the beautiful, chill forest vibe that feels like a secret little getaway.

Family owned and bottled. Worth the weekend drive! We had never been to a meadry but the proud Mother of the owners graciously educated us. We tasted every option and even the beer! I loved the sweet dessert mead and he loved the traditional mead. Honey and beeswax also available for purchase. We will go back for sure, next time I hope to see some of the 300 bee hives responsible for the delicious mead.

Had a great tour and tasting here, the drive out here is great and worth the time just for the view. The staff is very knowledgeable, even visited with the owner/mazer for an hour. He was very open about the process and how they started the meadery which made the tour that much more valuable.

Always a great experience at Fallentimber. They are following covid restrictions so no tours or tastings. But they still have lots of chilled cans of their latest mead creations you can purchase and take with you or take for a walk on the path they've created (I had a couple cans of their new BLACK EYE and it's my new favorite!). And of course they still have a great selection of their many bottled mead creations and most importantly, the same friendly, down to earth country feel I've encountered everytime I'm there. You can't find a more authentic and genuine local success story than this family. Their origin story starts decades ago with a humble and dedicated bee keeper. I'd encourage you to learn the rest of the story when you're there :) Look for their beverages in Calgary liquor stores and support a home grown, Alberta family success story!

Went with a couple friends for an early birthday celebration/ scoping out drinks to serve at a wedding adventure. We arrived a little before 11, and there weren’t any other customers, it’s a beautiful, scenic drive through the foothills from Calgary, and a beautiful place to sit and relax. When our group was complete, we went right in and started a tasting. The ladies assisting with the tasting were knowledgeable, friendly, and very excited about the brand. It was wonderful being able to taste all the meads before purchasing, and we each got to keep our tasting glass as well! The tour was wonderful; one of the owners took us around and spent quite some time talking about the process of the bees making honey, and how they keep the bees safe, healthy, and happy throughout the process. We were able to see the entire work area, and where they are expanding to a bigger shop. It’s easy to see why their mead and honey are so excellent, this family is pouring their heart into their business and it really shines through!!

Great spot to visit! We did the tour which comes with an awesome tasting of all your products. They have an awesome yard with free to use BBQs, fire pits and lawn games . Staff was super informative and nice. Sounds like they are expanding. So I'm excited to return and check it out

They have an amazing barrel aged vintage selection, I am fairly new to mead. But so far I can recommend everything I have tried. The honey they produce is also amazing. Also worth noting, the drive out there is scenic and interesting. I drove 2 and a half hours to see it and pick up my first order, totally worth it :)

My wife and I visited for the first time today. Beautiful setting, classy people, knowledgeable staff. With so many breweries and distilleries around, it is refreshing to see someone doing something unique. Nathan gave a very interesting tour with a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at bee farming and how they produce their mead-based products (which are all delicious). Great business with hardworking passionate folks that deserve to be supported.

Definitely one of my favorite places (and beverages) in Alberta. Great selection of meads, still, sparkling, beer and mixed drink inspired. There's something for everyone. My favorite is still their traditional mead. We always stop in when camping nearby.

Ordered a case of 6 still meads and they had them at my door within the hour in Calgary! Fallentimber meads are the first meads I have tasted and I have to say that they have exceeded my expectations. I am now a mead guy thanks to Fallentimber. I would certainly recommend people give their meads a try.
