Great selection. Able to find true gems at incredibly reasonable prices. But they shouldn't bother selling items you can find at regular liquor stores at cheaper prices. I spent a fortune here over the years and was sold an over priced bottle at my last visit. Ruined the whole thing for me. But then again I bought 2 bottles of scotch that tripped in value over the last 6 months. So I will definitely go back.

The craft beer selection is wicked, and their singles selection is great because you can try a bunch of new stuff without committing to a whole pack. The staff are excellent. Super helpful and knowledgeable. They choose their stock carefully so it's only good wine to be had here. It would be possible to buy the wrong style for your personal taste but there is no bad wine here - unlike most liquor stores where things can go horribly wrong. Parking can be a hassle at times but it's worth it.

You get what you pay for....and man, this place ranges from amazing deals to eye-popping prices. HOWEVER, this small but might liquor store carries a behemoth selection from around the world. I actually make a point to stop here every trip from Vancouver, because they carry many items that B.C. can't get from abroad....and sometimes I find things here at 50-60% of the prices I see in Vancouver (before taxes!). Highly recommend.

I tried asking the person at the till about the beer i was buying but she didnt have much to say but there is one guy here who knows a bit about beer. Felt like i wasnt welcome in there but thats fine, there are better places to buy beer downtown.

Love the convenience of this place and the selection is huge considering its size. I was a bit taken aback by some of the pricing, but I'd have to drive all over Edmonton to pick up everything I could in here. Ok, I have been a customer at this place for about 12 years and I have spent more than $100,000 over these years so I am a serious customer and Derick and Ed will know me well as I have bought many cases of upper end wine here for Xmas parties and other events. I have found that their attention to loyal customers like me is non existent. This was brought home today when I went into the shop to buy some upper end gin and the tonic water that they carry. I spoke to the woman working there and asked her if they carried Old Raj gin and she said "we can't carry all gins" and it was a very dismissive statement that seemed to imply that they had covered all of the important gins. There was no interchange on her part that would imply perhaps that they might get it in if there was an interest. Their seeming love for these local perfume gins seems to have ruled out the old standby Gordons. But what really put me off was the totally dismissive attitude to a customer. I will never shop there again!!!!!!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Broad selection of high quality wines and beers. They often host events / wine tastings; worth a look at if you have an interest in expanding your own personal knowledge of wine! The price is not the lowest, but it is worth a visit simply for the expertise and solid recommendations. I also enjoy the small descriptors placed by each of the wine bottles, the "Staff Picks", and that you can see the Wine Spectator and Robert Parker scores by each bottle if you are curious. I'm often looking that information up on my phone at other liquor stores so it's nice to have the information accessible at my fingertips! As well, in response to some of the other reviews - I did actually find the same thing at first, that I had to go and ask a staff member for help and felt a bit ignored when I came in. Once I asked for help, they were all very friendly and gave good service (above and beyond what was expected). I also called in at one point and received great service. I'd rather have to go ask someone for expertise then be approached by someone who doesn't know anything in a normal liquor store, since that typically ends up being a waste of my time in the end...

Easy going people that are more than willing to help you find whatever suits your budget or pallet. One of the best places in the city to visit with some great new additionals all the time. Purchasing online is easy and painless. Highly recommend!

If you need someone to assist you in finding a great bottle of wine for a dinner or a special occasion come here, their knowledge of wine is incredible and the variety of wine they have is great. I was there for a wine tasting of cabs, it was educational and the wines were great.

Went once for Canadian. Price for 6pk $2 higher than 8pk anywhere else and didn't stock 8pk. Maybe good selection for those wine drinkers, but the basics are cheaper elsewhere. Any elsewhere.

Not the best costumer service... two staff at the checkout and neither made eye contact with me. Felt very cold and unwelcoming. I also didn't get a receipt for my purchase which is inconvenient as I was buying something to take back home and I prefer to have the receipt for everything I declare when going through customs. I wouldn't recommend this place, cheaper and better service elsewhere close by!
