You will see the opinions of real people who consumed the products of Bridgeland Distillery Inc (Winery) in Alberta (Canada).
At present this business receives a rating of 4.9 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 54 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is practically the highest, and it is based on a very high number of reviews, so we can say that the assessment is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery belongs to the category of Winery.
I have had the pleasure of sampling most of Bridgelands products and I can honestly say that I have loved them all. Each product is unique in its own way that clearly sets it a part from the rest. The ambiance of the sampling room is awesome and the people there are fantastic. I am a huge fan.
Love this place!
Got gifted a bottle of the Taber Corn "Berbon" and it is fabulous. Can't wait to make it back to Calgary at some point to try the rest of the lineup! I've heard great things about the limoncello...
Super happy with my experience doing online delivery! Ordered two bottles, free delivery and arrived the same day (2 day window on my order). I hope they continue this service after Covid!
Bridgeland Distiller's "Taber Corn Berbon" is outstanding. 60% Taber Corn, 32% Penhold Barley, 8% Penhold Wheat, New America Oak. Buttery, Sweet, Vanilla Oatmeal and Caramel notes. For me, a splash of water to bring out the aroma. It competes with the best Kentucky offers. I highly recommend Bourbon lovers give "Taber Corn Berbon" a try!
Come by and visit Jacques Tremblay for a tour of the locally sourced Alberta born distillery, they have whisky, brandy and grappa for sampling!
I LOVE this place. The drinks are spectacular, the food menu is spot on for foodies, and the staff is the most welcoming and friendly staff in Calgary. Prices are wonderful, and it’s not hard to find parking near. Access is good for people with disabilities, and noise level is not high inside.
What a cool spot just outside of downtown. If you like a chill place to learn and consume locally sourced and produced spirits this is the place. We went in for a flight (me) and a non-alcohol drink (her) and left with a bottle of brandy, a bottle of premixed old fashioned and a cool place to comeback to. Kenzie and Kayla were great behind the bar and knowing their stuff.
Drinks were amazing. Jeremy and Kayla were so welcoming and informative. Can't wait to go back
Great local spot. Gives tours of the distillery on Sundays.
TLDR: You can't go wrong here. Friendly and knowledgable staff, serving up delicious and creative spirits. Looking for something to do on a day off, and motivate by our adoration of their innately satisfying cube shaped bottles, we made our way down to Bridgeland Distillery today. Even before entering we were pleased to see the lovely copper still (Louise) and other distilling equipment through the large front windows. As we stepped inside Dan greeted us with a friendly hello from behind the bar. Although unable to serve cocktails at the moment (which we actually didnt know they did) Dan happily chatted with us about their various spirits and let us sample several. Their new Burbon was simply sublime, and the Limoncello was a perfectly balanced treat, neither overly bitter or sweet, and lacking the offputting neon yellow of its commercial brethren. As it was a slow afternoon Dan then took us on a quick tour of the operation (the barrel aging room smells divine and housed a small, unassuming bottle tantalizingly labeled 'experiment #2') and introduced us to everyone before we returned to the front to try the unoaked single malt. Even this was a delightful surprise, smooth with a light fruity scent, and I cant wait to try the aged version in August (the founders package is tempting as well at only $175 for four bottles). After some more banter and laughs we agonized over which two bottles to purchase (we landed on the Limoncello, and the Moscato Brandy ... this time) and thanked Dan for his time, already eager for our next visit. We would highly recommend Bridgeland distillery for your home bar, or as a particularly classy (and tasty) gift. Thank you again Dan, we had a blast!
Spirts are amazing and staff are super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommended!
Cool place with excellent staff. Cocktail list is excellent and unique as everything uses their own and other local products. Their spirits are young but have great promise. Definitely recommend a tasting and a cocktail. The tour is great too!
A few of us went to check out the distillery opening weekend and weren't disappointed. We had a brandy flight at the bar with the super friendly and knowledgeable barman followed by a tour with one of the enthusiastic co-owners. It was great to check out the shiny new facility plus it was followed by a whisky tasting in a separate room. I'll definitely be following these guys as they expand their spirits range, and looking forward to trying their whisky! Great to see Bridgeland getting some distillery love!
Great drinks, amazing staff, and a beautiful location. Meant to stop in for a drink and maybe spend an hour or two and wound up peeling out of there 5 hours later. Pro-tip: sit at the bar.
5.0 rating and not a surprise to be found because Bridgeland Distillery is AMAZING. The absolute best INSTAGRAM WORTHY cocktails in the city!!! Gorgeous facility, great service and wonderfully crafted spirits. Great job to the owners you took an old, marble furniture store and you made it a destination for Calgarians to come and take the edge off. You're awesome
Absolutely amazing experience! First off, I didn't know much about whiskey going in but they have a tour that explains a lot about the brewing and distilling process (which is free for their opening weekend Aug 17/18 and only $5 after!!). I did a tasting of 3 different whiskeys for $12. The tasting is guided so you know what to pay attention to with each different whiskey - and they all taste so different! They have an area where you can order cocktails (they even have an amazing mocktail on the menu! They actually have 2 but I only tried the French 0.5 - SO GOOD) and sit and drink with floor to ceiling windows so there's lots of natural light. The owners are so warm and friendly which makes the whole experience even better. I would 110% recommend this to anyone looking for a new drinking experience.
The cocktails being crafted here are legitimate art. They’re insanely creative and tasty - easily the best in town.
Jeremy and the rest of the staff were great. Ask for one of his signature drinks if you're looking to have something you didn't know you wanted until you have.
Great selection, awesome setup and knowledgeable staff!!!
Original ideas and so happy to have these guys post up in bridgeland. Can't wait until the whisky is officially whisky in 2.5 years! Super knowledgeable bartender who clearly loves what he does. I really appreciate that they are doing something different from the usual vodka, gin, whisky lineup. Will be back to try the other cocktails.
Great place. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Try the samplers to get an idea of the tastes of the products. Try the limoncello, you might be surprised. It is excellent. The Taber Corn Berbon is also very good. Good selection of cocktails. Highly recommended. Fits in well with the personality of Bridgeland.
I don't normally drink spirits but the husband and I dropped by to check out this new neighborhood addition. The husband tried a flight of whiskey and I got really brave went with a flight of grapa. I've had grapa before and I hated it, really, really hated it! But I'm an adventurous soul and decided to explore - hence the flight. Husband enjoyed his tastings and although I can't say I 'enjoyed' my tasting, it did expand my tastebuds and one of the samples I would definitely try again. The service is terrific, the place is well designed and laid out. Will certainly be back for more taste sensations.
Great location and love that it is local. Had an work event here which let to a tour of the facility and some product tasting. Owner and staff was amazing. Will recommend and be back!
Nice ambiance, great service, will definitely be back
I recently moved to Bridgeland and this place is a go-to! Instantly felt like I was part of the community as soon as I stopped by - Kenzie is a fantastic bartender and even better human!
Fantastic cocktails
Great place to check out. Great spirits and great service. Had alot of fun there last night. Will definitely be back to check out the food. I noticed they had gluten free!
Loved. Service could improve a bit (we would have stayed for 2 but no one ever asked us and we sat empty for well over 10 mins) but drinks were super yummy. I'll go again for sure.
Great selection, that you can try out due to the variety of samplers!! A large number of cocktail choices ensure that everyone in your party will find something they love. The food from local vendors rounds out the whole experience for a fantastic time. The outdoor seating makes for a great way to enjoy the summer weather! Above all , the service was wonderful, knowledgeable and very fast.
Drinks are quite good, and staff was awesome. Spent an evening here and enjoyed the patio quite a bit. Personally I found the prices a bit high for cocktails and wine, 14-15$ per cocktail is more in line with higher end cocktail bars like proof, Cannibale or milk tiger rather than distilleries like burwood or confluence. Wine was 16$/9oz which again is priced like a higher end wine rather than a distillery made wine. Bought an old fashioned premixed bottle and its quite good!! Food was delivered by Walflower and was amazing and very reasonably priced. Was a really cool experience and would recommend checking it out!
Walked in by accident last week and had the cocktail of the year!! Asked the bartender for what ever they could think of and got a whiskey cocktail that blew my mind. Kenzie is an artist and might be secretly pouring the best drinks in town. Been back twice this week since.
Great Location. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Awesome bartender, great atmosphere!!
Dan (owner) was very knowledgeable. We were given a tour of the facility followed by a tasting experience. These guys are really passionate about what they are doing and are making some excellent spirits. And a great coffee too. Highly recommend.
This place is phenomenal. I just picked up a bottle of the old fashioned and it's one of the best blended spirits I've had. Highly recommend! I placed my order last night and the owner dropped it off at my house today. Great service and great product. I'm already looking forward to trying something new next time.
