We ordered a couple Catalogs to be printed for our business, we had been working on them for months so were extremely excited to have the first sample printed. We showed up and they were completely wrong, but this isnt a negative review. It was about 8pm (store closed at 9) and the woman in the print section (Delanie) was great to deal with. she got them reprinted properly and extremely fast and at the end of the day I got to take two perfect catalogs home to my wife. Had I had not had them... I would have been in for a bad time! I dont normally fill out online reviews, but figured it was required. We run a manufacturing/sales company that sells nationally and understand there are always going to be issues, but her desire to fix the situation when she simply could have blamed someone, told us to come back tomorrow and moved on really impressed.

Never go to staples to get quick print jobs done. Never. I was overcharged because I was forced to buy a gift card (without knowing a quote of the job) and was unable to extract the remainder from my forced gift-card. Extremely bad service from the Print Centre, absolutely horrific.

I go there to send faxes or to print when I'm stuck for equipment (as so many other places have closed off this service during the pandemic). I appreciate that they are there. I didn't give a 5 star because I found it confusing to figure out where to stand to pay for my fax afterwards. Because the fax is at the end of the counter, anyone entering the store for other such services would be served while I was ignored.

This locations printing customer service is horrible! Clara was absolutely rude and impatient. Extremely unprofessional when attempting to receive printing services. I’ve been trying to print and bind documents for work for over a week now. I was unable to get the process done online so I figured I could go in store and receive proper assistance and clarification for the next time I attempt to use this service. No assistance was given, no questions were asked. I was told if I have a USB that I can print on a self serve machine… when asked of another representative if the self serve machine will also put a gloss on the documents I was told that one of the printing representatives would have to do so… had Clara exhibited proper customer service skills she would of actively listened to my needs and not had sent me to random self serve machine when I was needing assistance from a representative. I called over to the Lindsay location and spoke with Denise at printing. Denise was kind, patient and took the time to explain and even go online and attempt to mimic what I was trying to achieve. Representatives like Denise are truly the ones who make all the while and difference. I live in Peterborough and mainly use this location for work as my company has a corporate account with you guys. I will not be going to this location anymore it screams entitlement. Hopefully staples does their due diligence to rectify insubordinate behaviour.

Absurdly terrible service. Was sold a computer tower and monitor, the computer monitor came with only a VGA cable and the tower had no VGA port. Tried phoning back in and was hung up on TWICE!! Before getting to speak to a supervisor named Barb, who was very snide and placed all the blame on me for not knowing what cables would come with the monitor or what ports would be disabled on the tower, despite there being no way of checking this within the store. I was never told by any reps that I wouldn't be able to use my equipment after purchasing it without buying a separate HDMI cable, and no such cable was ever offered to me at any point while I was in the store. It is a huge inconvenience for me to have to travel back to the store just to buy an HDMI cable, and upon asking if I could be compensated for that inconvenience ex. A free HDMI cable, I was told, verbatim, "Staples does not compensate customers for their own issues. We do not care. I can set one aside for you if you like but the cheapest you'll ever get an HDMI cable is $9." Just ridiculously terrible customer service.

Their debit machine was out. Good thing I had cash after making the trip there. It's not a place I pass by on my regular travels. I couldn't find what I was looking for so picked a substitute. The girl at cash asked if I found everything and when I said I hadn't, she sent someone to look for it. So I ended up with what I really wanted. Great customer service and they give Air Miles. Great store , they always have good deals but DO NOT PAY EXTRA TO GET THE WARRANTY and just rely on the manufacturers warranty on the product , they didn't even change the battery on my laptop properly or they may have replaced it with a defective one , its really disappointing considering I paid $99 dollars extra for the warranty.

I went it fax some documents for legal department and after trying many times they were not being received at the recipient. I took me one month and I paid the price for long distance Fax 3 times. I asked the workers to let me know how to get a confirmation about the fax I am sending is received and it s actually the file readable I am sending but no answer at all. At the end on the third time I have called my friend from store who had fax machine in his office and I sent him same file and got acknowledgment that it's delivered and readable on his end. Such a shame this big org like Staples cannot provided guarantee for the service they charging us for.

I had a really bad experience at this staple. Nov 16th, I went to staple to print some materials. The lady named colleen said it may takes her 15 minutes to finish my order, I waited and came back 30 minutes later yet she said she haven’t even start work on it. I asked again when I can expect my orders be finished. Colleen then said around another hour! Which is really make me very disappointed as a customer. I really need to get my things done so I waited for a while, during that time Colleen just kept chatting with another boy rather than focus on her job. If you are really that busy or have to chat with your coworkers that’s all fine. What really isn’t right is her attitude. There is no sense of respect neither apology from her. Everyone’s time is valuable, you can simply let me know if you won’t able to accomplish my orders soon so I do not have wait for nothing.

If I could give them zero stars I would.... Went in on Saturday dropped off 118 photos to be scanned, saved as a jpeg onto a jump drive. These photos were for a funeral slide show. I paid for same day, wasn't done. I finally called the next day at 1pm and got through. They said there was a problem with the process that was done and tk bring my receipt in. I did, and she said I wasn't charged enough blah blah blah the manager said that it wasn't my fault and they wouldn't charge me more. Awesome! I was happy. I brought the jump drive home put it into my computer and they were all saved as a pdf, google slides would not accept them as a photo. I called staples and they told me "well we don't open until 12" and I said ok well if I bring it at 12 would it be done right away and I was like well i better wait outside before 12 so I'm the first or I'd have to wait. Thankfully I had a friend who has programming to convert it all to the right format. I paid for this service, and It was done incorrectly and they were not helpful at all. It is for my grandmothers funeral and they made this whole process even worse.

I bought a desk a full month ago now. Back then it was late for arrival and would be coming soon. A few weeks later, Staples was called and the customer service guy was going to get back to me about where it is. Now it's been another two weeks, he never called back and we never got any reasoning for why this desk was so late. Now I'm thinking of refunding if this desk doesn't come soon. This experience has been truly abysmal. At this point I don't care if the desk is good or not, all I care about is if I'll ever get my desk. Mind you, this desk costed more than 300 dollars and I never got my money's worth. Very irritating. Edit: I refunded the desk and got a different one. This one was ready in a few days and is great for its price! Still doesn't really excuse the bad experience we had with the other desk.

2 of 5 machines weren't working - 1 could only copy, other non responsive. The gentleman on the PC also had issues printing. A lined formed of frustrated customers and no staff noticed and took action. I finally went over to Print desk and asked someone to come over. Staff member said he was busy and will help when he was done with his work. I asked for a manager. Manager showed a few mins later and turned off/on machines and 1 of the 2 started working. A 5 min print job took half hour. Where's the Easy Button, Staples?

I am very displease with the experience with this store. I needed to purchase a desk last minute I need it the next day. I went to my closest Staples Stockyards. The sales associate said they did not have the desk that I wanted in stock. He told this location had it. I travelled all the way there and was told the store was closed. I was confused as the store at Stockyards send me there. I told the sales representative I needed the desk to set up my home office. The equipment I was given from work did not fit on my home desk. I told him it was an emergency he did not care. I will never give my business to this store. Avoid like the plague.

Today we rely on the people at places like this to know more than we do regarding a product. That is quickly becoming inaccurate in 2020. I enjoy the selection of tech at this store but the print center is an absolute joke. Rude staff, confusing interface with the computers - I selected a same day print option, went through all the prompts only to be told (after I had paid) that they don't offer same day photo printing and it would be about five days for my one single photo I needed printed to arrive. No where during the process of me selecting my print job did it tell me the turnaround time for what I was doing. I had selected the option on the side that said SAME DAY PRINTS and photos were an option. I would be fine if I'd had to wait an hour or even two - but I am very disappointed that this wasn't the case.

What a great experience at the store yesterday and today. Jess, Joe, Tom, Robert and all the staff thank you for your excellent service and great attitudes. I had to replace my office chair, bought the warranty but was still dreading the process. That was my mistake. Getting a replacement office chair was an easy smooth process.

I had a printing emergency (home printer not working right before a job interview) and Jenny at the print centre saved the day. She informed me that they don’t do on the spot print jobs but that she would make an exception (I came sprinting in, soaked from the rain and in a panic) which I was so grateful for. She hooked up my USB and had the resume printed (on really nice paper) within minutes and had me on my way! Thanks so much for a “restored faith in humanity” moment!

It didn't have any of the electronics I needed. I was looking for a Bluetooth selfie stick that would also fit my Samsung galaxy s20fe. I also needed an adapter for a c-port to headphone jack and charger for the same phone. They did not carry these items. Also, they did not have dual color and black hp ink available. Staples is good but when I was here I was looking for the little portable print that prints tiny pictures from your phone. Sure they had it but not the ones I saw online. When I asked the employee where it was, they said they only sold that certain kind online. So in conclusion, why would I come here if I could buy what I need (for cheaper) online? Thank you.

Placed an order at the Dufferin and Lawrence location. There was an issue with the online order that arrived late to the store but was approved for pick up. The store closed as I was waiting for my order. Spoke to the manager as he was locking the store that I was waiting for my order. I needed to scan two pages and i went to this store because the liburary was closed that day and it took about 5 bucks to do that because the computers were very slow and some error with the scanner. Like their printing service, self service is easy and quick. Restocking on item i needed was not responsive by the store. Maybe it was good for me in disguise because I waited for the hyken chair for sometime (2 months) that was worth 300 and while I waited I got a chair similar for 70, just without headrest. But when I really wanted that hyken chair they couldn't provide. But yeah, lot of other good merchandise to buy.

I ordered a calendar on Jan 2/21 it has been 18 days/ 13 business days and I have not received it. I emailed on Jan 12/21 asking for an update, received an automatic response saying someone would get back to me within 24hrs, then got a 2nd email advising someone would respond within 48hrs cause they are overwhelmed with emails. I still have had no contact giving me an update to simply advise me why it is taking so long!! Your website says orders will be ready in 5-7 business days, well I have surpassed that & than some!

The fedex pick up service is not good. I gave my ID and door tag to the representative and she told me they don’t have the package. It was 2 days after I received the door tag. I asked her to check again and after asking multiple times she went to check again and she finally found it. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ive never seen worse customer service in my entire life. I have had countless issues and horrible customer service with Staples and specially this location. I decided to give this place another chance as it was convenient for me. I honestly do not understand where they get their managers from; they clearly have no people skills, no training and no compassion for their customers- Just very poor customer service. I frequently spend money at Staples for printing and supplies and in the past 4 weeks Ive sent 3 different printing orders in online (totalling approximately $500). My first order was fine, My second order was also fine (I however had a few pages that were dirty) however my last order was completely wrong. Unfortunately I did not notice until we had gone to do our presentation and noticed our attendees were flipping through looking for the correct slides. Thinking it was my mistake I had spent some time looking to see where this mistake would have occurred. I finally came to the conclusion that in fact I did send the right document to print but received the same printing from a presentation last month (order #1). I called the store to let them know and to inquire about how this could have occurred to prevent this from happening again. I also asked for a refund of the $40. The manager called me to discuss - I had explained that I received a document with 23 pages however sent in a document with 19 pages to print and unfortunately appeared very unprofessional to the group we had been presenting for. Her response was that it was not possible, that they wipe the computers clean every night and remove previous documents. She told me that it was not possible to reprint old documents. I kept explaining that although I understand that, technology can mess up at times. After multiple calls with the manager she had asked me to bring back the documents to the store (Documents we did not have as we handed them out and our guests used the backs to right on). I told her I had a few left and she asked me to bring it into store so she could see them (essentially calling me a liar). My first question for her was why do you need the documents that you are going to put in the recycling anyways? I however went into store with the 12 documents I did have left and she went through them (again as if she didn't believe me). She told me again that it was not possible that it printing old documents and continued with "its not like my associates went into your document and added 4 pages from the internet" She kept repeating that and I could not believe what I was hearing. She finally said she would refund me for the 12 copies i brought to her. Again I could not believe that this Manager had such poor people/ customer service skills and would speak to a customer this way and all this for the $10 refund... I told her to keep her money and left as it was not worth my time that she was wasting. I have since boycott Staples all together and will be leaving reviews on all platforms. Worst place to shop. Not worth any deals.

Not sure why I continue to come and print my work at this location. Every time I print here, I'm always disappointed. The workers at the copy and print centre always get my stuff printed wrong and cut terribly. I've given them more than enough chances to get it right. I've had to reprint files multiple times and cut the papers myself AND redo the staples in my booklets (having several holes in my book).

But there are some displays that are really messy and there is not enough people on cash when it is really busy. I went to use the copy machines for a serious project under time crunch, that wasn't on a usb and not auto feed worthy. I'm no stranger to printer/copy machines, and thought this'll be fairly quick. These copiers are not user friendly and need guidance from employees. The woman was helpful, but an experienced problem was too much for her experience, and no one else ws available, costing me wasted copies. Overall, give yourself plenty of time if you're a newbie to their copiers.

I placed a print order for same day pick up. The order was placed in the evening so I knew the order wouldn’t be ready until next business day by 6PM. I waited until about 5:50PM next business day for a confirmation email saying that my order was ready but nothing was received so I decided to go in store and check in. They checked on my order and it was not complete - hadn’t even been started. So much for paying an extra $2.99 service fee for ordering online for “same-day” service. The person that helped me out though was very kind and printed my order right away. But unfortunately when I received my order, one of the prints had imperfections (printing artifacts).

I gave this store a 5 stars. Because this was the first store in North Bay that welcomes Nefertiti(service dog) into the store. More importantly, it was the managers who welcomed us. They appeared to be having a discussion at the time and they stopped to acknowledge Nefertiti and me.I had tears in my eyes because prior to coming to the store, Nefertiti and I had been rejected at the "Multicultural Center" . Oh boy that hurts like hell!!! So we went to Staple North Bay expecting the same rejection. But to my surprise these managers turned around and welcomed us to the store. You should be ashamed of how you treat elders. My mother in law and her legally blind friend attended your store yesterday. All her friend wanted was to get her proof of vaccination shrunk to the size of a credit card and laminated so life would be easier for her since she can't see. She was told to come back cause they don't do it that day. These are 2 elders with disabilities ... Then they asked where they could find a picture frame and were sent you isle 5 but of course it wasn't isle 5. Then they asked for a strong magnifying glass and were told" nope we have none". No one assisted them even when they were the only 2 customers there. I just don't understand how you can do this to people who already struggle getting out.

I am never in the area and there was an item I need on sale so i stopped in. Regardless of how messy this location is and the bathrooms are so dirty the sales lady who helped us went up and beyond normal Costumer service she had a friendly smile and was very friendly. Called and was told that it would be on Friday instead. Ended up wasting the whole day friday waiting for it to show up. Went in Irate about wasting two days, saying I want to cancel the order. Was told I would have to wait for the item to show up on monday to refuse delivery before they can refund. Guess what... they never showed up on Monday. Very Disappointing, and will have to do a charge back with CC company.

Tried to return a product I purchase for $13.99. Didnt have the receipt so was told I'd get store credit. No problem. Then I'm told that it was on sale for $1.90 so that is what they would refund me...I told them that didnt sound right and the manager, who was as petulant as he was ineffective as a manager, shrugs and says that is what it is. Save your money and shop at a local business who will try and help you using common sense instead of at a big box store like this where no one wants to or can help you. I will say that the young guy helping me was trying but it wont be enough for me to ever go back.

I will only be coming to the print shop at night from now on. The night staff Regine and Kristen were so much easier to talk to and they got my print fixed the way I needed it in the first place. Kat went above and beyond to provide me with the business service I needed. I tried to get some booklets printed and the online website / chat service was really slow and confusing. Especially since my project was a highly custom design. I decided to go into the store and ask for assistance there. Having gone to previous Staples stores for business I was expecting to encounter inexperienced print - staff that would tell me something along the lines of not knowing how to print this specific requirement and would've been asked to contact them by phone / online. This was not the case with Kat. She took initiative, uploaded my order, set me up an account, all in a professional and fast manner. I felt like the time that I spent there was efficient and on-point. My project is currently being processed according to my deadline and I am very grateful to this store. My business requires a lot of printing orders and usually I would use online print stores but with such service sometimes we forget what's important in human interactions. Printed things are tangible and sometimes it's better to pass on the feel of the project to those willing and responsible. I say Thank You!

A bit pricey than the other competitors. But good variety of products overall. Some good deals are going on gaming computer parts. You will have access to Fedex inside the store. They have printing, copying and scanning service as well. Nice and spacious. The good thing is you can try almost every product before buying it. Such as, gaming pc's, chairs, mouses keyboards and many more. You can even try different pens and other stationary productsand check which one suits you. I hope they will have more options in dslr cameras in future as I went there to buy one but didn't find the desired one. Stuffs are friendly and helpful.

Be very careful about their online printing tools; they are both primitive and inaccurate. For example, the images that you put on the "folder template" does match what is printed. And if you order business cards using their vertical business card templates, and have text centred on the card, when printed it is offset so the text is not centred.

Unfortunately, the last couple of times that I've used the Copy & Print Centre I have left feeling like my business wasn't cared about. A couple employees in this department seem to be rude. I have felt like I am inconveniencing the workers.. The service is also VERY slow... The employees don't acknowledge you, until they are free. The store could benefit to have more people in the department. Today, I had called to see if my document was ready after using the online uploader and the person on the phone made me feel like I was being a big inconvenience by asking the question. I am not one to write bad reviews but it's been a couple times now that I've had an unpleasant experience & I am going to be taking my print jobs (which is often as I am a graphic designer) elsewhere.

Great experience on the weekend with the Print staff. I needed something customized that wasn’t an option with the online tool so the staff took notes over the phone regarding my request ( binding on the short side of a landscape booklet instead of the long side). I spoke with two different guys and both were extremely helpful and professional right to the moment of pick up. Which by the way was within 4 hour shift of my submission online. It was a Saturday and I wasn’t even supposed to be able to pick up until the next day according to online. So I was very happy when I got a call around 4 to come get my booklets. The service I received @ Staples -Fairlawn Plaza was very great. Am not very mechanical or tech saavy either. Would rather be on a bicycle or a pair of skis than mess about with computers ......... I also have hearing loss as well. The technicians were understanding & patient with me. Am on my 3rd printer now in 5 years. Terrible, slow service. I wanted a single page of paper laminated and I was told it would be ready in 24 hours. I asked if the machine was being repaired, and he said 'no, I'm just busy, maybe try another store.' There wasn't even anyone else at the counter. The next day I tried again and I was told it would take 2 hours. When i called to complain, no one answered the phone. I'll never go back.

Employees are incompetent and management is rude. When a customer is spending $2000 on a product they need to learn how to make sure it’s the right thing. I give Staples 0 stars not 1 because it won't let me post this unless I give a rating!!!!! I bought a new all in one printer from them at the end of July. Last week I finally put it in when my old printer ink was used up. I found out it was defective and HP said it couldn't be fixed!!!!! Staples would not take it back. I was over the 1 month return policy they said!!!!! I wasn't returning the thing, I was exchanging it for a new one that wasn't defective!!!!! They were left to deal with the garbage as I left everything there including the box it came it!!!! Best Buy is now my go to for electronics!!!!! Staples has lost my business!!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Just got out of the st catharines location at the YMCA I told the girl I haven't scanned anything ever in my life she told me to go try if I had a problem to come back I loaded 5 bucks on the card and tried it out I got stuck so I asked another girl for help she said one min but then went on to do several other things then help other people after me. My time on my card was running out and i just needed one quick answer. Finally another girl comes fixes the problem but my time on the card is almost done I advised her of this she said "ya we are busy" i said I know that but I asked for help before a bunch of people who got ahead of me. She then said "well u better hurry up then" I was annoyed because I had to go load more money on the card to finish my scan. I work in customer service I could never get away with that kind of customer service wasn't helpful at all she could have said ok no prob I will give u a couple free minutes to finish up that kind of stuff goes a long way. Won't ever go back there again for ANYTHING.

The print side of things needs to hire more staff. There's nothing wrong with the staff themselves except that there's not enough of them. They're told to not answer the phone. This has forced me to come into the store to check on orders. The printing quality is fine but a lot of it is oursourced to other print shops anyway.

The people work at tech department and manager Babak don’t have any idea what they are doing. I walked in 3 times to buy a laptop and 3 times they told me different stories about laptop. İt was a clearance item And only item left in the store. first day they told me it is ok to buy the laptop so i went home to think about it then next they the manager himself told me that laptop has some hardware problems so they cannot sell it and told me that they will remove item from display. After couple days i went in to buy some other items and saw that laptop was still on sale. And when i talked to tech department and store manager they told me that they are able to sell it eventhough it has hardware problems. They don’t even know if it is for sale or not. I would consider Shopping at bestbuy next time for better informed staff and respectful customer service.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to go pick up my calender, which I ordered online, and when I got there, they were disorganized and I had to wait 20 minutes. The manager was helping me out since the cashier was basically clueless as to where they keep all the pick-up orders. I had to show the manager my online receipt 4 times, before he realized it was to be picked up at the copy and print area. Not only did he waste my time, he held up the entire line. It's funny because the store wasn't even that busy but in 20 minutes, a long line began to form because of their carelessness or disorganization.

I purchased ink and paper on Monday December 12th. My overall service was decent nothing over the top. And I'd like to add the store was not busy at all. While being served by the cashier Kate (who was somewhat friendly), at the end of the transaction she was waiting for my receipt to print and she proceeded to text someone on her phone, waited til she was finished and gave me my bill. I didn't think this was very good customer service. She has 2 15 minute breaks and a half hr lunch, this is when her phone should be used. I wasn't overly impressed.

Recently had a tech guy over to my home to help with a smart tv setup. His name is Andrew. He did an excellent job. It was a complicated affair that required him to resolve problems with both my modem an second smart tv upstairs as well as the one that he was originally booked to help with. He actually used his own personal phone to download multiple apps to make the tv more user friendly for the newer tv downstairs. When I explained that both my husband and I are from an older generation and weren't as savvy where technology is concerned, he went out of his way to make sure that everything was simple to use and stayed 40 minutes past the booked time. He even offered to consult with us if we had any confusion utilizing the new tv in the future. This was customer service at its best. Kudos to Andrew and to Best Buy Fairlawn Plaza branch.

Hello, I arrived a few minutes before 6pm today only to find out that the new store hours are 10am-6pm while Walmart, Zehrs are open until 11pm and other stores to 8pm or 9pm. A customer just went in before me and they wouldn’t let me in. I understand everything that is going on now and that “things are different now” and thi s need to be sanitized but to close at 6pm?? Even during the stricter rules Walmart and Zehrs were opened until 8pm I needed to print out a temporary license plate document for an elderly person that I helped renew their license plate stickers online who could not do it on their own or go to a Service Ontario Centre. One gentleman told me to come back tomorrow I said I can’t I’m providing child care almost every day all day tomorrow and the child’s Mother doesn’t want me taking the child to stores with what’s going on. So this lady comes out says they’re closed I should’ve checked their store hours online I said it’s not quite 6pm I just have a couple of pages to print she then asked me if I have a debit card I said I have a Staples card that had money on it the last time I was here. She was talking to someone in the store fumbling around taking more time to make up their minds I could’ve been already done printing the time they took to figure themselves out. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I wasn’t about to beg them to let me in and print I told them thank you for all your help I won’t be back they didn’t even try to get me to come back in. I’ve used Staples printing services many times over the years, I’ve also purchased other items like filing cabinets, computer chairs, computer equipment and notes etc.. This experience might be just the motivation I need to buy my own printer and order things from Amazon. I am normally about supporting local businesses especially during these new strange times, but I felt like I was starting to beg them to let me in when it wasn’t 6pm yet someone just went in before me I hope someone sees this review as I said I don’t normally leave bad reviews about businesses but no one should make someone beg to purchase a service Thank you for your time please stay safe and healthy all you shoppers out there

Just had a fantastic experience with the Staples Tech Team. My husband and I wanted to move one TV from upstairs to basement and put new TV in the old TV's spot. As well, both needed to have wall mounts installed. Tried looking on-line and tried a company that never returned my call or email. Didn't know what to do next and then spoke to someone when I was at Staples picking up something else. I was directed to Andrew at the Tech Support. He explained the process, next steps, expectations, time lines and cost. He was pleasant and truly interested in meeting our needs and answering our questions. Sold!! We bought the instalment pkg...and the next day got a phone call to set up an appointment. The 2 man installation "Tag Team" of John and Michael arrived on time, explained what they would do, checked on us to at numerous points of the process to see that we got what we wanted. They were polite, careful moving throughout the house, cleaned up after themselves, explained how to operate the new TV and set it up so there is on one remote per TV (WHEW!!) It was a pleasure to have these two expert, professional, kind, polite people in our home. As seniors, this process started out quite daunting for us. Staples made it easy, affordable but most of all - we got what we wanted. I will use the tech services again and would not hesitate to recommend this service. They deserve the 5 stars I gave them

I went to Staples to buy a printer which my niece said I would like and she had seen it there on sale. When I entered the store, Brian greeted me at the door and asked if I needed help to find something. I said that I was looking for a printer. He asked Ellika to help me. She led me to the printers, asking what type I was looking for. I told her what my niece said and she showed me the Canon printers. The one I thought my niece told me to get was not on sale anymore. I wasn’t sure what to do so Ellika said let’s go to the computer and do a comparison on them. She explained the differences and printed out the information for me to take home and decide. She was Very kind and patient. Then I was going to leave but Brian asked what happened. He then told Ellika to honour the sale price if I still wanted the printer. I said sure! I will definitely return to shop again and will also recommend this store as the staff is so helpful and kind and they give great service!!!

I recently had the pleasure to shop there. Actually, I was picking up a product that I had ordered online and I ran into the manager Babak. I explained to him that I had some confusion about the possibility o ordering ordering several products online. Babak intervened on my behalf and straightened out the entire issue Which I'm very grateful for. Even the people online couldn't do that. Several days later. I called him because I had an issue In regards to ordering a new computer. Once again he straightened that out as well. I would highly recommend the store if you're dealing directly with them at street level as opposed to online. @Marc Lamothe, I think you're being a little unfair. The print center doesnt "force" people to get gift cards. You can use a credit card through the self serve printers or you can get a gift card at the front. You can literally put 1$ on it. As for not getting a quote I highly doubt the staff wouldnt tell you how much it would cost. Also all the pricing is written on the printers. You really shouldn't bad mouth a buisness just because you dont like the way they run things. I've only every had get experiences at staples, keep up the great work guys!

I bought a computer which was slow, glitchy and wouldn't stop updating. We called the store and the worker told us to bring it back since it since that was clearly not how it was supposed to be working. When I went to return it the lady there was quite rude and didn't listen to what had happened. Neither of the workers let us return the computer so we left the computer there for them to run some tests. Turns out we were right about the computer all along and I got a new computer which is now working properly.

Miss “I Know this” Loretta said the Bluetooth adapter is more better and would work on all phones as along if you have Bluetooth on your phone. So, I took her word and bought the Bluetooth adapter. When I test it out the adapter wasn’t responding or working, until I saw the back cover the adapter was made for iPhone 7 and 8 only. I’ve went back to staples right away and didn’t get no refund because it was a “Clearance item” all sales are final. Thank you so much Loretta. I have had two seperate incidents with staples which has reached the point of enough is enough. I bought a computer through them that was around 2500.00. The computers hard drive broke a week later. Because I have been doing business with staples for many years now, I figured I would give them another chance, and let me tell you, that business stops now. On the 8th of September, I ordered a phone through this store. They told me it would not be in until the 13th, which was delayed through the 17th which was delayed until the 20th, which was delayed until the 22nd, which is now delayed until the 24th. This is completely unacceptable and shows how disorganized and poorly staples is ran as a cooperation. Buy any and all electronics through Best Buy or the source. Making big purchases here will cause you nothing but a headache.

They tried to scam me. My T.V. died today. I called to get a price on a 43' , The guys told me they only have K4 T.V.s.. He proceeds to tell me if I buy a K4 T.V. none of my other devices will work on a K4 T.V. He said I would have to have a buy a K4 DVD and K4 surround sound. Walked in at 5:50 pm . July 10 2021 trying to find ink for my printer . The 3 workers that where working was3 workers all standing and talking no greeting or anything . We proceeded to the ink isle. My daughters laptop picked up a malware virus. Brought it in to have it wiped clean and everything put back to working order. Stressed that she needed the laptop as she is a university student. Was assured that it would only be 2-3 days at the most. Now 4 days on and won't be ready for at least another 2 days or more. Not good enough. Awful experience with the print department staff this morning. I called prior to ordering my prints to ensure they would be ready by the time I made the hour drive and was told it would be no problem, but when I showed up for pickup I was informed it would be another hour! I then asked if there was anyway I could do it from my phone or a computer there and was told no, only to find out after going to another staples 45 minutes away that they do offer computers to print and edit documents and printers that you can email your documents to in the matter of minutes. Very disappointed in the staff and experience at the Peterborough staples.

My online orders is incomplete, wrong items, disorganized and waiting for almost 60 minutes now. Poor operational flow, curb-side pick-up is non-existent. You call & call... no one picks up. You go inside the store and I and other online/curb-sidr orders have now been waiting for almost 1 hr and I still have the wrong items, incomplete order and it is now 1hr 15 minutes later and I have finally been escalated to a manager. It is still not being resolved. Don't commit to a 2 hr pick-up if you cannot deliver. Improve and train your management staff in the concept of customer flow.

I usually come in to use the print shop here to make photocopies, scans and prints. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is always clean and well organized. Most items you may need on a just in time basis are usually there. Office supplies cost what you'd expect them to and aren't overpriced. The store can order items and you may pick them up in store in they aren't stocked.

There tech room is a Scam . There Computer Diagnostic will always detected a issue even if its a clean computer. Take your computer to a independent business. Also rotating high-school kids, on minimum wage will be seeing your information, such as email password and credit card info and personal photos . The management has a hostile attitude towards customers that have problems with low quality service. They will tell you to get out or that you are wrong, if they cant solve the issue or lack the technological literacy too understand what is being asked of them. One of the worst places you can give your money to... observe how staples is slowly turning into a dollar store. Ps. Warranty is a scam. They will outright lie about the process too get you to buy it. The warranty claims are not understood by the majority of the staff. You will go through 3 people to be told to call a phone number.

They don't answer thier customer assistance line, nor they were accurate with their shipping arrival as they have printed on my bill statement, after i called customer service the next day when they didnt respond the day prior. The staff tried to take advantage of my elderly parents in selling them a floor model laptop (which is fine, my parents knew and understood that). The first attempt to take advantage is when they wanted to charge my parents to $160 "activate windows 10" which is just filling in the information to get a user set up (which they know how to do, it's literally filling out an email and their name.) then we went back to get a refund because it just wasn't worth it in my opinion. I tagged along this time because of the $160 to "aCtiVaTe wINDoWs 10" to make sure they're not going to try to convince her she needs anything other than them returning her money. When we went back we forgot to format it, so the store associate took the laptop without a word and started to format it. It wasn't until we were looking around and he came to help us that we were told they were going to charge us to reformat it. This combined with the attitude towards the whole situation (didn't seem to care much about helping us find a suitable fit and overall seemed like they were fed up with my mom) made us super weary and lmfao I know how to format a laptop, so we took the laptop back and went home to format it. My mom later went back, alone (my mistake) and they tried to give her a store credit instead of a refund when she was within the return period and they had said multiple times they were going to give her a full refund. Luckily she fought it but I highly doubt they treated her with any ounce of customer service during this. TLDR: Store associates are shady, trying to use confusing terms and methods of payment to make her pay for unnecessary charges and add ons. Also went to best buy shortly after this and the customer service, product knowledge and options were superior.

NEVER TRUST STAPLES.CA They took an order for a desk from me on Saturday night. I paid using Visa Debit. They debited a large sum of money from my account instantly. They then sent me an email at 10am Sunday morning stating that they are sorry but they do not have the desk in stock! Meanwhile, I had been searching that desk (bookmarked) for over 6 months while it continuously showed "out of stock". Finally Saturday night, the website stated "in stock" so I ordered it. They can not fill the order so they cancelled it as I mentioned. We are now Wednesday evening and they still have NOT returned the funds they debited from my account! I can not purchase another desk without those funds and they have basically hijacked those funds for 5 business days, according to them! I have a funny feeling I will not see that money any time soon! NEVER BUY FROM STAPLES.CA!!!

On July 30th I purchased an HP laptop. By Aug 16th it had a hard drive error and was exchanged. After a 2 hours drive there and back I got home and opened the laptop and it was the wrong laptop. In speaking with their staff by phone they advised they didn't actually have my same model in store unless I was willing to accept the demo or the one I just returned with the hard drive error. They eventually found one in another store and were going to have it sent to their store but that of course would take a day. I agreed having no other option. 15 mins later I get a call back that one has turned up in the store. I lost a full work day since I am self employed and was left without a laptop after the malfunction and their employees error. By Aug 29th the new laptop again had a fatal hard drive error. I went in and obtained a full refund. During this entire experience the employees were pleasant but could have cared less that their merchandise was garbage or that an employee cost me a couple hundred dollars. I went to Best Buy and had a much better experience than any visit to staples and got a better HP laptop at a lower price. It's now been two weeks and not a single issue with this laptop. I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything beyond basic office supplies from this store as they don't seem to care that laptop after laptop is being returned with major issues after purchase. I won't hold my breath for the call from the GM I was promised during either experience either.

Shopping online at Staples is a nightmare. My online order was late so I called to locate the items I ordered. I received two different stories from two different people. It took me 40 minutes to finally get a straight answer (I hope) but I really had to grill the person on the phone which I felt bad for doing but it seemed to be the only way that I could get any answers. At one point, I asked to speak to a Manager but a Manager was not available As things stand at the moment, my order is not coming and I am supposed to get a refund but I have yet to receive a confirmation email. The email I received yesterday said my order is delayed. I went to the store to see if I could buy the out-of-stock item at the store because the person on the phone would not call my local store. Luckily the store had stock and I dealt with a really friendly salesperson named Luana (I believe that was his name) who was helpful and fast. I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. If it wasn't for Luana, I would never step back into a Staples again. It's nice to know that someone at Staples understands the concept of Customer Service.

I stopped at the St Catharines Staples Store last week, just to buy a USB Flash Drive stick, and brought my work laptop with me. I had a Hell of a time searching the store to find a customer service associate to start with. He wouldn't help me but directed me to the aisle. Quite upset with my experience today at this specific staples location. All I wanted to do was print one picture out for my daughters baptism so I was getting that ready before the alleged closing time, 6pm. As said on the google site and also when calling their location phone number when trying to speak to a representative it is confirms that 6pm was closing but I had arrived 45 minutes before 6pm (5:15pm) and upon entering the store a representative come to me and had told me to leave saying that they close at 5 but see many people inside still shopping but besides that the closing time is completely different from said on the number and site. Called customer service to deternine the protocol for warranty repair and returns. I was told over the phone to fill out the manufacturers RMA checklist and they'd take care of the rest. Called to check inventory on a printer I was looking for. I pressed 1 on the phone for "Printers and copying" to ask if the printer I was looking for was in stock. After telling me it wasn't their department but they'd check anyway I stayed on the line and was told they had the printer I was looking for so I asked for it to be placed on hold to come pick up. I was very rudely told at the end of my call that I had called the wrong department (I clicked one for "printers"???) and I should call the right department next time. I would've been happy to just call back to the right department had he just told me to at the beginning of the call to call back and click whatever department was the right one? Still don't know what department I was supposed to have called. My partner headed there immediately only to find out they didn't actually have the printer and when my partner got upset and expressed frustration. His exact words were "We called to make sure you had this before coming so this wouldn't happen" and they got upset with him!!! How is this okay? They mess up and it's our fault ? I am never coming back, I'll just brave Walmart.

Generally I go there for internet and printing if the library is closed. That sections is tops - it's all self service and driven by technology. Use one of your bank cards and get ur stuff printed.The paper used is really good quality and the results are really satisfying. They are a bit expensive as compared to the library but it's a great option. You can print directly without logging on to your account and it falls cheaper. No problem with parking there. They are also a great house for stationary and you can get everything you need.

won't honour the price matching on a computer unless you either bring it into the store with your receipt or make you Buy it again at the lower price before doing another separate transaction to refund you. most people can't afford to buy a MacBook twice just to get the price difference back or wait days to get the hold on the funds from a credit card back won't do anything to help, can't do the price match as a refund and purchase in one transaction refuse to refund the purchase first as a option don't deal with these frauds that claim price match and make it so difficult to actually do for the average person

I recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router from Staples in St. Catharines on YMCA drive for $199.49. A week later I saw it advertised on sale at Staples for $179. I dropped by after work to Price match it, but I brought the wrong receipt with me. As I was heading out on vacation, I asked the General Manager if she could help me out. She gave me her business card with a note explaining my situation and asking to please honor the price match. When I returned from vacation (after the two weeks of price match had expired) I brought the proper receipt back to the same store with the note, and the cashier cheerfully refunded me $22.60. With great service like this I will return to this store and continue to do business in the future.

My wife were there on Thursday the 14th. We purchased a tablet. The sales person not helpful at all. We asked about downloading pictures from are old one to the new one. The sales person said he didn't know how to do it. But he was trying to sale us a package for 79.00 dollars to do what we asked. Never again. There not the same they use to be years ago. Sad.

There should be a manager that actually delegates priorities. Like dusting shelves or serving customers????‍♂️

Terrible customer service. I was treated like a doormat. Dirty looks, hollered at for social distancing even though I was way more than 6ft apart from the other customers in line, and issue when trying to use a gift card. Incidents like these make me not want to shop at a place I don't feel welcomed at. Couldn't even get a "have a nice day", or "thank you for shopping with us" when I left.

I was impressed with the staff at Staples at the Fairlawn shopping plaza in Ottawa. Approximately two weeks ago we went in to take a look at the business chairs that were on sale. At that time the chair that we liked was not on sale. Being seniors we watch our pennies and dollars. Spoke to the manager seeing if we could get that chair that we wanted which was not on sale. However he took the time and indicated it does go on sale periodically. He checked further and in less than 2 weeks you would be going on sale which would be a saving of $75. We were not in a hurry so we waited. Last Thursday I noticed it was on sale and went to the store. I also observed in in the notice that is emailed me that if you spend $100 by the internet you could pick your item up at the store and there was a coupon for $10. I pointed this out in the choir was there anything less than a dollar in the store that I could purchase to cause my purchase to go over $100.00. My purchase was $99.98. The Manager said there was no problem and he gave me the $10 coupon discount which save me total of $85. I can assure you I'll be back at that store again, plus my wife was very happy.

I had a negative experience. I used a computer provided by the store to access my email in order to download a document, which I intended to print. The internet was extremely slow when trying to sign into my email as well as load other sites(Scribd & Google). After 15 minutes I was able begin downloading the document and was amazed when to see the estimated time to download was 16 minutes! Wouldn't advise using this location for internet..

Twice I've been to this store since moving to at Catharines and had horrible experiences both times! First time was ordering a laptop via credit card online during covid. After being convinced by the sales rep to switch my purchase to a different laptop better suited for me, I agreed. The purchase on my credit card was then screwed up by him locking out my card and both purchases for this emergency laptop for work. The second and final attempt at giving this store a chance was looking for a case for a phone they physically sell. Not only would the girl in computers not help me but even refused to stop what she was sticking to even try. Her advice....Amazon. I explained it needed to be a physical purchase for work to reimburse she wished me luck. I went to the tech service desk to ask if I could order one and have it shipped to store. Three people made eye contact with me and they proceeded to look away and refused to help. I left the store after waiting for anyone to even acknowledge I was there. This store has horrible customer service and I or my family would not be returning. Open for one week to public after covid...maybe some retraining is necessary.

Questionable competency. Do not shop here. I placed an online order for 3 items. 2 packs of Duracel batteries and 1 bag set. I was given 2 battery packs. They were both the wrong size and they were the cheaper store brand. They also gave me a broken bag set that was missing half of the bags. I had to wait 30 minutes to get the bags exchanged for a set that was undamaged. I then had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the team (it took an entire team) to find the the first proper battery pack. The batteries are next to the check out counter. I was so frustrated at that point that I left. I went back a couple of weeks later to get the third battery pack exchanged for the ones that I had ordered. I had ordered a 4 pack of Duracel D batteries but was given a 4 pack of double A "next" batteries. They refunded the money but would not honor an exchange stating that the sale was over and I should "wait a few weeks until it goes on sale again." I am glad that I got my money back. Because I am not coming back here to be given inferior or damaged products when I had ordered premium new products. Caveat emptor and check your online purchases before you leave the store or you will not go home with what you paid for. You will go home with the cheapest replacement they think that they can get away with.

Worst experience with this location. I buy from Staples on a consistent basis for my business, and I bought ink toner for my printer this time around (which is not cheap) and the toner did not work. I called Staples and explained the situation, requesting a store credit since I dont have the original packaging of the product, only to be told that theres nothing they can do and that they will be out of pocket because of this. Last time I checked Staples is a multi-million dollar company - I'm sure my $180 purchase isnt going to affect your business. But your customer service sure as hell will, so you can be sure I wont be shopping here again.

I went to pickup an order containing of one thing, and because my drivers license address was not up to date with my current one, this led to both my boyfriend and I being interrogated and belittled by two employees. Instead of helping other people who were there for their order, they needed TWO employees to check my drivers license three times? Also we were there for about 35 minutes total while trying to get the whole ordeal sorted. Even though I could show them at least three pieces of ID with my name, the confirmation email, and the credit card I used to make the purchase. Those employees are very rude and honestly, I hope they stop stepping all over people who are willing to buy from them. Extremely dissatisfied with this whole experience. Do better.

I had to visit Staples twice to get an overcharge corrected and then a third visit to finalize it. I was told that they were doing me the favor. After they erroneously took money from me, MY money, and then returned it they said that they were doing ME the favor. I have been a loyal customer for decades but after the rude and condescending and arrogant treatment I received I cut my card up right there in the store. I will make a concentrated effort to get others to follow my example and I will never shop there again. BTW or FYI. This was at the Kingsway Branch Sudbury Ontario and the person I dealt with was the manager I believe name Tina.

I recently received a gift of an entire library of braille and print children's books to read with my young kids. These books are expensive and difficult to come by. The condition of the books varied from like new to extremely well loved. We have been taking the much loved material into this local Staples. They have been rebinding and recovering the books for us and doing a fantastic job. The new bindings make the books easier to store and are a lot more durable than the old ones. So for a very fair price, I now have a veautifully restored set of braille books that I should be able to pass on to some one else when my own kids are done enjoying them. Thanks Staples! ????

Went in today to print copies of contract for client. Big mistake! Tried using simple print option, would not work. Had to use their internet on their computer.. 30 cents a minute. End result after accessing my email, printing copies. 7 sheets, black and white. 15$. Absolute rip off. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly knowledgeable. The girl named Jenny was not at all. Her customer service skills lacked as well as her knowledge. Asking her a few questions she was clearly annoyed. She obviously didn't want to be there. Rude! I won't visit this location again, definitely a rip off! Shame on your.....30 a minute to use internet. 15$ for 7 sheets of black and white, and piss poor customer service provided by Jenny. Maybe get in a new line of work that does not involve dealing with customers and require knowledge on printing. Ridiculous!
