Making the switch to Real Estate Webmasters 4 years ago has been one of the best decisions we have made with running our business. We currently utilize their website platform but have also had them help with optimizing our content and set up a few Google PPC campaigns in the past. I will say it's not the least expensive option on the market, but it is well worth it. REW provides an enterprise-level solution that works. Morgan Carey, the company founder, has a solid background in SEO and it shows. All URLs created are search engine friendly, new pages are a breeze to create, and IDX results are quickly indexed. You can create custom IDX pages that list only properties that meet specific criteria like price or area. Community pages are also easy to set up, and they offer forced registration as an option ensuring you are capturing leads. The support team is always quick to answer the phone and always helpful. These are trained professionals that have the skill-set to solve any issues and answer any questions you may encounter. There is a built-in CRM that you can use to create auto-responders, campaigns and action plans. The CRM tracks things like pages viewed, properties viewed, last active giving you the ability to understand what your site visitors are looking for in their next home. REW has recently launched a new branding and design service. We have not used this service but have seen some of the work they have done, and it's excellent. Absolutely the worst choice for real estate agents. Don't walk, RUN! We were long time customers of Real Estate Webmasters. Last year we purchased a new site which was supposed to be the latest and best. The site was purchased in June, we weren't able to access it on the development servers until September. Once we were able to view the site we found numerous errors and issues. After spending 3 more months finding and reporting the bugs/design issues/ and missing promised features, yes we ended up doing their job, the arrogant CEO abruptly ended the hardening phase of the site development and proclaimed everyone that purchased the site that it was now ready - it was no where near ready. When they started patching the site, bugs/issues reported during the hardening phase, it would break our site. Each time they patched the site they wanted another $1,000+ to fix their errors. There have been 4 patches this year already. What they say a site costs is just the beginning, they will strip out basic real estate site functions and features and then claim they can do what you want but it's custom and will cost even more. The code in their framework caused over 129,000 SEO errors per Moz Pro, that number isn't a typo. When we brought it to their attention they said they designed it that way and the SEO best practices didn't matter and then said we can fix it but that's custom and asked for more money - our google rankings tanked. The CEO also said in writing, that this site was their number one priority and would do whatever it took to make things right, he also said patches would be 100% free. I've seen bait and switch tactics before but what they're doing is absolutely disgusting. And just a heads up with regards to their so called Real Estate Webmasters client facebook group - any time someone posts something about the above or issues in general they delete it. You've been warned...save your money, time, and aggravation.

I've been working with Real Estate Webmasters for over 10 years now, and they have been instrumental in the success of Highrises.com. It's not just because of their great technology - let's face it you can find good tech in a lot of places. It's because of the people. From the site concept and account management, to the development and then the support - the people of REW are what put it head and shoulders above the crowd. How many times have you had the CEO of a big company sit down with you and walk through your site and say "Have you thought about this?" And "What if we did that?" Not because he wants to sell you something... but because he genuinely wants to see you succeed. And then the development team takes those ideas and brings them to life while really listening to you and implementing your feedback. That level of involvement doesn't stop when the site goes live. No technology or server or MLS feed is completely foolproof and sometimes stuff happens... that's just life in an online world. What's important is that if things do go sideways there's someone ready to help. I love that I can call REW's 800# number and someone who is on-site in Nanaimo picks up and is ready to help. Allison's support team is always responsive and quick to solve any problem. And they're so damn nice - they don't even ridicule me if it was my mistake that caused the issue! Ha! But that's what a good tech partner like REW does - they work WITH you to make your life easier so you can focus on growing your business and dominating in your market. That's why I said at the beginning that they are instrumental to our success, and I hope they will continue to be for a long time.

OHHHHHHHHH gosh REW. They would be your best friend if you are willing to throw 2000+ at them every month. We had never been but constantly up-charged for fixing bugs on our website. We were told that we have to abandon thousands of dollars worth of custom work so we don't have to spend more. Real money squeezers... Many bits and pieces and lots of bling but mostly stand-alones with token add-ons that don't really work well. Part overwhelming because of so much material in a short time but mostly inspiring. EMPTY Promises. Lots of money wasted. Living off of hype of being on a television show many years ago. After a 3 year "contract" and a template they charge you $500 USD a month for keeping the site up and another $300 for adwords management. Thats $800 before a dollar is actually spent on marketing. save your money.
