Good Italian restaurant in Laval. We were served great portions. I would rate the food at 8 of 10.

From all the comments written, was not sure this was a good choice... Our waitor was above the norm... Food preparation was great and quick... Plate sizes were also more than expected... With my entree (that i shated) and penne main dish i could not finish... Great atmosphere... Emjoy...

Great ambience, especially on weekends. I would recommend that you make reservations as it does get packed quickly. The food was delicious yet pricey, so it's a good thing you can bring your own wine. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend if you love Italian cuisine.

Great atmosphere for dates or small family events. I've been several times. Prices are reasonable, food is really good. Service can be a bit better.

We asked to be seated at the outside terrasse, this was about 5:30pm. The hostess told us that we could not be seated outside because the tables were not cleaned. If your tables are not clean then you should not be opened for business. We took our money elsewhere. The bill for this evening would've been approximately 130$. The next time I hear a business complaining of slow business our experience will come to mind very easily. It's a shame because the food is very good.

The food is overall uninteresting and not very tasty. The pastas taste like something I could easily prepare with generic grocery store ingredients and the fried calamari were dull. If the food was good, the prices would already be okay at best, but right now it's severely overpriced. The service was quite fast with a large group on a very crowded night, so I guess I can bump it up by a star.

I enjoined Lugano's. The food was good, it was cooked well. We did have reservation at 7.15.. we were seated at 8.20.. The place is packed with people, great for parties if your willing to wait to be seated. As for the food, Lamb was cooked well.. mushrooms were amazing. If you have never been, try it. Price is reasonable.

Made us wait almost half hour past our reservation. Food sucked and gives a bad name to Italian restaurants. Waitress was nice and helpful...atleast. BYOB but they get you on the price of food. Definitely not worth it.

I pre-ordered Lugano's one night for take out. I've never been there for dine out, but my husband has been there several times in person and has always raved about the food. The order was delivered on time and hot. We ordered the grilled portobello mushrooms, red peppers and goat cheese to start. Main dish was spaghetti alla carbonara and the arrosto misto plate (chops, chicken, sausage, with rice, potatoes, salad). We also ordered cheesy bread not realizing that the meal already came with fresh bread. The food was delicious and a lot of it. We had enough for leftovers the following day. Everything was delicious. I know it's hard to recreate the dining experience on a takeout order but Lugano's left a great impression. I can't wait to go there in person to dine in, if ever this COVID thing ends! Excellent food and punctual service. Would definitely recommend.

TO THE BEST MANAGER GEORGE ❤ I made a last minute reservation for an early bday dinner and he made it extra special. We were served the best food as usual, and he offered us dessert and cappuccino on the house, it was THE best pizza nutella I've ever had. My husband who doesnt usually eat dessert was literally dying at the pizza nutella. The manager kept coming over to make sure everything was fine. The service was amazing, thank you to the amazing waiter vitto as well! Will definitely come back ❤❤❤

i was invited there by a colleague, it’s a wonderful place with a wonderful joyous atmosphere from the moment you walk in, and get a whiff of the aromas emanating from the kitchen to the moment you finally decide to leave. and that can be anytime around closing hours because they’re definitely not pushy. plenty of space between tables even with big groups, great size plates, that don’t come cheap tho. but for the taste, it’s well worth it. great table service accomodates! thanks for that. clean washrooms, well done. well worth another couple of visits!

Prices are a little over inflated for pasta and pizza, but then again it is a bring your own wine place. Service wasn't there. Seemed as if we were annoying the waitress by asking her for utensils. I had the veal sinatra or something like that. Nothing great!! We went there for a 6.30pm dinner on a Saturday. Place was full around 8.30pm.

Went on a Saturday night at about 6pm, and service was very slow, even to get some bread. The shrimp and scallops dish was excellent.

This should not be considered an Italian restaurant. The food was awful and extremely over priced. The spaghetti sauce was terrible and tasted like frozen boxed pasta. Because we were a big group, I had the opportunity to try other dishes and they were all just as awful. The only enjoyable food was the baguettes served at the beginning. In addition, I have to admit the service was quick and staff were nice.

The food was okay, but I get the impression that the majority of the Italian restaurants in the Montréal and Laval area are over priced for the food. If you want to pay that much for Italian food, then go for it; otherwise, try some little family Italian restaurant in Little Italy in Montréal. If you've ever traveled in Italy, you'd know that the little ma & pa restaurants are the best and yet affordable.

We were celebrating a birthday. We were seven in number. It was a Wednesday and therefore waitresses not rushed. Our reservation was immediately acted on and we were given a choice of table. Once seated, our waitress was presented and was there for us throughout the evening. Choice of menu delightful and quality of food very good. Presentation excellent. Special mention: BYOB, and our waitress who was informative, caring and had class.

The worst food we have ever tasted and we will never go back. We ordered Veal Scaloppine Al Naviglio and instead of making it with cream they used corn starch which you could see the chuck of corn starch. We also ordered the Gamberi Farfalla shrimps and it was not even edible. The shrimp seemed to be boiled and then broiled, the mash potatoes tasted like they were out of a box and the garlic butter dip tasted like oil and water, nothing like garlic at all. The only good thing was our waitress which was a sweetheart and tried her best. I suggest they find a new chef that knows how to cook.

Really bad service, the waitress was never preoccupied by our needs and that reflected in our tips obviously. In the end, she told us very rudely that our tip wasn't enough. IS A WAITRESS EVEN ALLOWED TO DO THAT ?? The food is also mediocre for the price they make you pay. MOST DEFINITELY TO AVOID!!
