Great spot for after hours drinks, and a great meal...
Wow, i couldn't believe that this place is still doing business with this level of food, the shocking news was that it's actually run by Greek guy, we all know how those ppl are super good when it comes to managing restaurants and making food, not his one Though, this place absolutely have no business to be a steakhouse, it tastes super weird and i just walked out with $52 bill and have to go eat some where else, simply i couldn't ear it. the server was such a sweet heart, she apologized but it's not her fault. Don't even give them a try.
I went for christmas lunch with some colleagues at work. We had the lunch menu. The options, the price, the food quality amd quatity were just perfect. The waiters were so welcoming. The waiter was constantly checking on us if we need anything and if everything is good. I had a soup which was very delicious, mashed potato with pesto chicken .. perfect combination. Finally, coffee with chocolate cake .. amazing. This is definitely a restaurant to revisit.
A few years back (5 years ago), a girlfriend and I visited the Firegrill. We were both vegetarian and there was nothing for us to eat. More than that, the server/bartender even asked us to leave because they couldn't accommodate our requests. I was so turned off and never considered this restaurant as an option in Ville Saint Laurent. A few days back, a friend suggested this place for dinner but I dissuaded him. However, for our Friday night dinner because we were both rushing, I went ahead and agreed to check it out. I had checked out the menu online beforehand and was surprised to see vegetarian choices. The surprised were pleasant and kept on coming. This place is great! Our server David was amazing, helpful, kind, friendly, funny and awesome! He ensured our privacy and paid attention to our likes and dislikes. The Garlic Cheese Bread was heavenly. My Pecan Cranberry Salad was alright. However, our Charles Smith Wine was perfect! The coffee at the end of dinner hit the spot. My dinner companion enjoyed his Ahi Tuna Steak and LOVED the Poutine. The ambiance in this restaurant is intimate and very modern. Adore the booths. It is quiet to have a great conversation. I am definitely going to visit this place to check out the other vegetarian dishes! A good place for a romantic dinner!
Having read the reviews and looking at it from the outside I decided to try my luck. I was greeted friendly and welcoming and they accommodated my wish to sit at a table than the bar, which often can be an issue if you are dining on your own. The waitress was attentive and very friendly and happy to help out with questions. I had their popcorn Chicken for starters which was probably one of the best popcorn chickens that I have had in a long time. As main course I opted for the Chicken and Ribs and that was pretty good as well. The ribs tasted a bit too much of charcoal for my taste but the meat was good, it literally fell off the Bone and the BBQ sauce wasn't bad either. There was plenty of food there and the price was good as well. All in all I would say that this is a great little place. I would come again.
Nice place, kind servers. The burger was really good and I love the sweet potato fries :)
Service
Was treated to a chicken ceasar salad with chicken and then returned to try the ribs. Both dishes tasted nice, although the ribs could have been a bit more juicy. Molten brownie was also nice (not very warm). All in all I can say that I enjoyed the food and the service was good too.
Nice cozy atmosphere. Went there for the first time on a Friday afternoon with Co workers. Was craving for a poutine and ordered one with add on steak. It was so delicious ! It was a decent amount and price.
Food very average. Waitress friendly and personable. Was not expecting much from a franchise-y type place. Got what I expected ..average and ordinary however get an extra star for the service
Fresh food, fast/efficient service and covid protocols followed ????
Lovely place!! It is not cheap, for sure. Steak is $30-40, wine more than $10 for a small glass, but it is worth it!! Great atmosphere, very caring staff, doing for you what you ask even when they do not have to, and perfect food! Try their mashed potatoes - unique taste, very different and great. Wines are picked carefully, one for each taste, and a good option! Chianti, Tempranillo - all is there! Very much recommended!! Great place! 5 star for sure!!
Came here for a drink. Was very quiet. Nice ambiance but service was not really pleasant. Will definitely come back to try the food. Looked amazing!
Been going there for over 10 years... Seems to have gradually decreased in perceived quality over time. Been there 4 times in last 2 months and generally not impressed anymore. I'm thinking I need to find another good dining option in the area.
They have the best margaritas. The servers are really nice and they go extra mile to make sure everything to your taste
Great atmosphere. Very open menu, something for everyone. Staff is welcoming and professional. Fantastic service. I have busted here a few times over the years as I travel to Montreal. And have yet to be disappointed in my meal or experience.
Thursday July 2nd 2020, Went for a meal despite pandemic. Food is always delish for us there. Thank you Nora for your great service throughout the night, genuine and well mannered See you soon Yanni
Mediocre at high price. Tried the bao, wings, poutine and spinach and artichoke dip. Poutine tasted like a fast food poutine doused in gravy. Make sure you bite through the unshredded meat or after the first bite youll be left with no meat. The 5 wings were juicy and very saucy with even more of their house sauce on the side. Better off sticking with the entrees than the apps. Hope it tasted better than it looked. There for a friends birthday - no specials. Hope this helps
Got the peppercorn steak, slightly disappointed that it only comes with one side. Most steakhouse restaurants offer two sides from $-$$$. Price point is high for what ya get. Steak was cooked well but was drenched in the peppercorn sauce, overall I'll give them 2/5 . Mediocre at best. Service could be been better due to how little busy it was.
Great place. Steak was done to perfection!
Excellent option of meats, all prepared well. The pricing was decent for the quality of the food. The restaurant is well maintained and has a good atmosphere.
Fast and friendly service, prime rib was great. Desert was a strawberry cheesecake and was extreme disappointing. The berries were soggy!
The service is HORRIBLE!!! Twenty minutes after we arrived, no one even came to bring a water, while two tables next to us who came later already started to eat. When we asked the waiter to come, he just said, "give me a second" and never came back. So we left without ordering. The exact waiter didn't apologize and gave us a look, "go as you wish, cuz we don't care".
Service and food was fast and efficient and very tasty...i was sitting next to the fire place which was very warm ,mind you the music was a little too loud and choice of music should be less rock and more romantic. But overall we had a great time..i will go back
This restaurant gets a 1 star simply because of their poor service. The food was actually decent and if it wasn’t because our waiter was so nasty and unpleasant I would consider going back. From the moment we got there he was giving us nasty looks (we had 4 kids in our party) and took forever to come take our order. We asked for the kids’ meals to be expedited (as they were hungry and getting rowdy) but were told the kitchen was too busy (meanwhile the restaurant was empty). One kid (1 year old) was sick and started crying and the waiter came over and told us to “control our children” which I found to be quite rude and perhaps if the food had come out in a timely fashion the kids would have been better entertained. We went around to the few people eating and apologized that the baby was crying and no one seemed to have even noticed it. At the end of the dinner, instead of handing me the credit card machine the waiter tossed it at me...lol...Anyway, first time in my life I left ZERO tip. And honestly he deserved it. Old, curmudgeonly French dude...and he’s loosing clientele for your restaurant. Bottom line: not a kid friendly place
It was so nice to one of my favourite places again. The garlic cheese bread as an appetizer was to die for. It is was one of my go-to things! I had the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich with the goat cheese and colourful vegetables, yummy. My mistake that I didn't know it came with fries, but they tasted great the next day! Our server, a young woman with auburn hair and glasses was stellar on Friday night! She was attentive, kind and took care of us. Also, their wine list is exceptional. I loved what my dinner companion chose, Mer Soleil Silver Chardonnay. Overall, such a great evening, can wait to go back!
Great food, super nice service. Filet mignon was amazing!
Excellent wait staff. Food was also excellent. Bread was good, rack of lamb and garlic potatoes were top notch. On Montreal visits, Firegrill will be a regular stop!
Where to start. The welcome in was great, even the hostess knew what items to eat for vegetarian options which is marvelous. From the appetizer - the cheesy bread was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Salad - hard to mess up a salad but it was good Mac & Cheese - it was so good. Good well, cheesy enough, noodles cook good and it had a wonderful flavor to it. Steak - my buddy got the steak and he was in love. It was moist, juicy, tender and cooked to absolute perfection as you can see in the picture Potato was fantastic Service was wonderful. Food was magnificent. Would highly recommend this place.
Their steaks are 100% cooked from frozen. I had a medium rare steak which looked okay but tasted so dry that the only refuge from itself was the sliver of fat that accompanied the steak on one side. It was the only way to eat the steak because it was so dry and inedible. I asked the waitress where everybody was on the Saturday evening I was there... I guess I can see why nobody frequents it on one of the busiest nights of the week.
Okay to eat there. Staff not very attentive. Food is average. Fewer selections of draft beer than most. Can usually handle a group because they are rarely busy. After a visit you'll understand why.
Oh my gosh, the food here was nothing short of divine. I went with a party of 10 and no one had a single complain about the meal. There was a staff shortage so please be kind and patient with the servers. I had the chicken pesto and mashed potatoes with some pineapple juice and it was delicious ????????
Excellent. Delicious and well-prepared food, positive atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant, helpful and professional staff, and quick and brilliant service. these are the reasons why i want you to visit this place and i will definitely come back to this restaurant again
Amazing Grill Food best ribs pork and BBQ Chicken with Cheese And Rice or fries must visit.
Really enjoyed this place. Ordered a white sangria, although it wasn't the best I've had, it was still good. Had the spinach dip and a ceasar salad, both were also good. We had the ribs and the prime roast beef au jus with baked potatoe, so good and flavorful! The food was great and our waitress was new however she was wonderful and didn't spill a drop of the sangria pitcher while pouring it. She also refilled our water without having to ask. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because we received our main course as we were still eating our entrées. It would've been nice to have some time between courses. They weren't busy so I am not sure what happened there. Other than that this place was really good and we will be back. Thank you!
I had a craving for prime rib (bœuf au jus) so we decided to tryout this place. We ordered: prime ribs, filet mignon steak and a burger. The filet mignon was good and served medium as requested. The prime rib was served medium-well instead of medium-rare. The burger was ok.
The services was horrible - waited 1h30 to get our food and every waiter would say sorry not my table. Food wasn't even warm. And they include the tip on groups of 8+ even if they deserved 2%. Spare your self the trip and avoid at all cost - will never be going back.
Very busy, food was excellent, service was excellent
Even with all the extremely negative reviews, I figured I try it out. I had 25% off a main. So I went here alone on a thursday night, host re-seated me no problem when I asked if I could sit at the bar side instead. Ordered the 14oz Roast Beef table d'hote dinner (prime rib). Cooked to a nice medium rare. Meat good quality and tender. Good amount of sides on the plate (potato/veggies). $29 for the table d'hote. (soup/salad & coffee/tea) I tend to be pretty low maintenance so they didn't need to tend to me much, but when I needed something, it was not hard to get someone's attention and they checked on me a couple times about whether I was satisfied. (I did sit at the bar so it's probably different than from the dining room). I was pretty satisfied with my experience.
Good service, nice environment, good cooking too!
When I first got here I though, ouf it's going to be a harsh review. But I should have had more faith. I had the ribs and they were bang on. Solid menu, everyone seemed to enjoy their dish, except half the people's steaks were over cooked. For a steak house that's a no no. But service was top notch, everything tasted good, so 4 stars for me. Oh also we were a large group and they handled it like champs. Recommended for small and large groups.
Amazing place and great food.
I went there yesterday with 3 friends to celebrate the birthday of my best friend. We started with the fish platter and garlic bread as entrees. The Tuna Tataki was so damn good, never had any served that way. The garlic bread too was very good with the Monterey Jack cheese on top but far too greasy. Next, 2 ordered a burger, birthday boy ordered a club sandwahich and I got the wild mushroom pesto. My dish was creamy and delicious and portions were very generous. In terms of the decor, the restaurant had such a nice and cozy cabin vibe. There was even one wall covered with large leather tiles. I think those two aspects mentionned above deserve a good 4 1/2 stars. The service however probably deserves none. I had asked the servers if anything could be done for the birthday boy to celebrate. Well she waited till one of us was gone to the bathroom and then brings in an icecream with a candle on top. No happy birthday song, not even a wish or a smile on her face. Just threw the cup nonchalently and left. Obviously we were so struck that the two others on the table took time to recover before they got into the spirit to sing anything. At the end, we also ordered creme brulee and a brownie. The creme brulee was disappointing and the brownie had too much coffee in it that it ruined the chocolate flavor I was craving. My suggestion, get your entrees and main dish there but skip the dessert.
My wife and I went to this place for the first time as part of a company Christmas party. We went around lunchtime on a Saturday. We pretty much were the only people in the place. Our party of 6 got two appetizers which was enough for 5 of us (our other party member had not arrived yet). The main plate was big enough to take some home for a couple people in our group. Dessert was had by 5 of us as well and there was a mishap with the waitress. She misunderstood our order and got kind of snippy with one of our party members. She did bring the correct item in the end, but there was no reason to back talk a customer. This is the reason I have assigned a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Everything was great and not one person had a bad thing to say about their food.
Pleasantly surprised . I've been threatening to go to this steak house for months, usually opting for local better known rival steak houses like The Keg or 40 West. Nice decor, love the 360 degree fireplace in the middle of the dining room. Food was excellent, drinks were good...$10 for a Vodka Martini is reasonable. Had the Tuna Steak which was awesome.. Calamari appetizer was really good too
Ordered stripped bass which was recommended but served with salmon, without any heads up. I guess they hope I’m blind and tasteless and would believe they are same fish. Disappointed! It was a business dinner and I didn’t want to make it a big deal.
Come here often, never been disapointed. Enjoyed everything I have ordered burgers, seared tuna, surf and turf...all good. Same with the service. Very nice atmosphere for group dinners or just for two, also has a bar.
12 oz NY Sirloin steak , medium rare, very juicy , meat is very tender. Two thumb up. Nice interior settings. Free WiFi too.
Delicious meals. I recommend it to everyone. Miss one start since the waiter was not friendly at all.
First they only have one booster seat for childrens so since it was already use we had to but our daugter in a small high chair all the cocktail we order was mostly ice. Literally the ice level was higher than the drink the food was ok and the service was ok too the price was high for the quantitie the give
The food (mushroom pasta) was very good, better than a lot of the dishes from La Cage au Sport (right in front of the Firegrill), for a similar price. The ambiance was classy. However, the beer choice was bad. I understand that classy places are more wine/scotch oriented, but I still think they should offer a few good beers. The staff was nice, but it seems like they were not enough to handle their happy hour popularity. Overall, a nice experience.
Nice service .. nice meal, but inconfortable long chairs ????
Nice restaurant but the menu could be larger. Steak was small but delicious!
Ordered the Roasted beet salad; arugula, mixed greens, goat cheese, roasted pecans, tangerine, honey balsamic vinaigrette. Had the Ahi tuna steak, with soy ginger sauce. Tuna so tender, delicious, loved every bite. The salad fresh and yummy! Really enjoyed my supper. Thank you all!
Prime rib is the BEST in town. Never have I been disappointed: juicy and grilled to perfection. For every birthday, our family always comes here. There’s something for everyone and it’s ALL GOOD - Surf N’ Turf, Lamb, Filet Mignon, Burgers, Ribs...and the Caesar salad with little fried onions is hello good!
The service was excellent. The beer was cold. The wine was good. The appetizer (artichoke dip) was very tasty. Unfortunately my steak was very blend. The were next to no seasoning. Salt, pepper, garlic would of done wonders but it was almost none existant. It was a nice NY strip cut but had less flavor than a filet mignon. The sides were two pepper 1/4. Should have been more. The loaded baked potato was well cooked, but nothing to rave about. For the same price of meal, Id recommend going to Baton Rouge, The Keg, Madison, etc..
We had a firegrill coupon, the colours were blue but not the dark blue but very similar. Our friends bought from radio boutique same time. Out of all our groups two couples had the dark blue and they did not accept ours, ours were a lighter blue If I would have been the manager I would have Said" no problem! They should have been clearer or check all our tickets before ordering. The manager was rude!!!! He worked on Saturday evening they told us after that you have to be two to a seat. Are they going out of business? Diane
I honestly find this place a great value. The interior decor is sophisticated and perfect for a business lunch. The menu is varied and the prices quite reasonable for the portion and quality. Service has always been perfect. The tuna sandwich is very good.
Very good service ,very good ambiance strongly recommand ,good food ,top notch drinks ,good family place To HIT UP before a movie at the SPHERATECH
They ruined a whole prime roast - cooked it to well done. I had to order something else off the menu because all the pieces were rubberized. Waiter apologized after the 2 first cuts he brought me. What a shame
AWESOME rib roast! Had a craving for prime rib so went to Firegrill and was super tasty and tender. Wife and daughter too really enjoyed their meals. Staff was great as well. We will definitely go back.
I don’t know if there is a law that says that steakhouses have to be dark and mahogany like...but it works. Went for a business lunch and had a delicious roast beef sandwich dipped au jus. Getting hungry just thinking about it. Service was fast, courteous and friendly. I’d revisit that lunch again!
I really wanted to like this place. I had been there before and loved it. I brought 5 of my colleagues from out of town to Firegrill for dinner and drinks. The drinks were fine, the food was average at best. At about $30 a plate, we expected more. My portabello chicken had plenty of chicken but a couple small slices of portabello! 2 sticks of asparagus? Why even bother. Steaks were small and a couple were a bit flavorless leading us to question if they were fresh. Service was great until we were served but then our waitress disappeared for almost half an hour. We had to flag down the hostess to get us some more drinks and dessert menus. For a few dollars more you can get a stellar meal at The Keg, lesson learned.
Baby back ribs were extremely tender and delicious. Unfortunately they had a very limited selection of beers.
Warm and welcoming place! Celebrated my friends birthday. Food is delicious!
The ribs are one of their specialties, however what the franchise does not understand is that this is comfort food from the south. Serving european portions for ribs doesn't cut it. I would recommend Baton Rouge over Fire grill any day if …
Not worth what you pay. Watch out for the tiramisu. They can have it for more than two weeks sometimes. Check how old it is by the sticker on the bottom. I had one that was as dry as the Sahara. I complained and they still charged me for it. Bad resto. Many better places for less cost can be found
We made the reservation before going to this restaurant. And when we came here the girl at the front desk says there's no reservation on your name. She was saying you might have made a reservation for Fire&Grill in downtown. We had to prove our point and show her the number that called. It took her more than 10 minutes to figure out that yes we made a reservation. Anyways it didn't end here. We are on the table and ready to order and no one came to take our orders for more than 20 minutes. No one even bothered to ask if we need at least water. We had to literally waive to call the waiter to bring us some water. One of my colleague asked for some bread and butter. And the waiter's response was.. Do you really need that.. I mean this is not you would expect when you enter inside the restaurant. The interiors are nice and beautiful but the service is not professional at all. We are done with our drinks and no one bothers to come and check if we need another one. We had to waive our hands and stop the waiter to ask for some more drinks. I went there with my team mates and we were just making jokes about the service and trying to lighten up our mood instead of getting pissed off. Anyways I would personally not visit this place ever again. Yes it looks beautiful from inside and the food is okay. But the service is really terrible.
The Firegrill has been a longtime favourite though I hadn't been here in years. Was not disappointed the food is still as good as ever and features good ribs, chicken, steak and prime rib amongst others and the staff is always courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend.
The cooks don't know how to cook the food. When you overcook scallops, they become like rubber !!!! Hello !?!?? Anyways. .. Funny how the person who answers the reviews only responds to the positive comments and doesn't acknowledge the negative ones. . That says everything. Never stepping foot in there again ..way too many other places to eat at to give a crappie place a second chance. . And Yes !! You used to serve scallops 3 years ago and maybe you removed off the menu because you don't know how to cook them !! I'm not crazy. But thanks .
I was treated to a very good dinner by my family The food was very good nice presentation, excellent service
The roast beef is the main attraction. They make a decent old fashioned if you ask for it. The ahi tuna sandwich was disappointing but the incredible burger more than makes up for it. Would recommend as a casual dinner spot if you're in the area.
Still one of the best burgers in town! Fast, friendly service. The menu hasn't changed much due to the fact that they have a delicious choice every day. Highly recommended.
What an awesome and cozy restaurant!! The staff were very friendly specially the waiter that served us who’s name was Vatche, so respectful and humble, on the other side the food is just perfect i ordered medium rare rib-eye steak, shrimp cocktail and some fried calamari, they were all delicious specially the steak, it was perfectly cooked just the way i wanted with the perfect amount of seasoning, overall the restaurant deserves 10/10 so don’t hesitate definitely recommended!!!
Was a very nice experience with excellent food and service
Yesterday, Tuesday, was my first visit to Firegrill. My brother told me about this place and how he was happy with everything. It’s sad that I had a different experience. For drink I took a “Lola” which is their version of margarita; tasted nothing like it, the tequila was not tasty, no salt around the glass, no lime or lemon in it but there was an orange curd which gave it a very unpleasant taste. I ordered the seafood pasta dish, the presentation was nice, the taste was disappointing. The pasta was dry, i would’ve added a bit of wine instead of pesto, the seafood was not quite tasty. It lacked lots and lots of ingredients. Everything took a lot of time to get to us even though the place was almost empty. I might give it another try, but I won’t be excited about it.
The big thick steaks on their website are not what you get!! I ordered the 12oz bone in filet and it was about 1/2" thick(maybe 7oz at best). It came with grilled vegetables which were all peppers. I am allergic to peppers, so I was going to ask for something else. Our server dropped the food and ran away not to be seen again for 30-40 minutes when we were done eating and only after we asked someone to go find her!! Not only that, all of us were out of beer and wine, but she didn't offer to bring another round when she dropped the food off. Save your money and go somewhere else!!
Loved the food
Our server, Kathleen was amazing! She was so friendly, patient, and gave excellent wine reccomendations! Ask for Kathleen on your next visit! ????
The brochette of filet mignon was not good at all, poor quality of meat, beside the way they cooked it, was kind of boiled not grilled The service was very good
Good place .team is verry frendly and kind . Sangria is great there ;)
Great food, friendly service
Service was alright, although the food was below average for me, plate looked empty and sad, filet mignon was sort of dry and a bit overdone.
This is actually my favourite restaurant, I love the food but the staff, the waiters are just too unpleasant for me. My friends who have been in this restaurant told me the same thing about the waiters... they are rude and don’t seem very happy to work there. I was thinking of celebrating my engagement there but because of the not so friendly staff, I’ll do it somewhere else.
Such a fantastic experience. Excellent service from a waitress who took care of every detail. Amazing food. Our waitress was a sweetheart. Manager is a true charmer.
Excellent service. Great food
Dine in…
Ok so much wrong with this Restaurant! First of all, quality of food is OK in general, but they don't seem to care what they actually put into your plate. (Prime Rib that had more fat and nerves than actual meat)
Delicious food. Steaks are yummy
great lunch menu
We went yesterday to celebrate Mother's day, my wife , my son and me. The food and quantity was excellent. First quality. The only problem was the server whose name is Timea. First she forgot to bring the bread to the table and second , we order 2 table de hote and she also forgot the coffee and the tea for me and my wife. The place is beautifully decorated. Although it took us 30 minutes to be there we will be back.
Service is friendly, pricing is reasonable. We had lobster tails which were slightly overcooked but the rest of our order was very good. It's not fine cuisine but it's a solid place for groups and business lunches.
Absolutely hands down the best seafood pasta I've ever had. There were real big pieces of tuna and salmon, accompanied with two very large pieces of jumbo shrimp. For the price you couldn't ask for anything more.
The steaks, seafood & lamb were delish. Our waitress did everything right. I would have given it 5 stars but the restaurant was way over crowded felt like you were eating with the table beside you. Dessert was so so.
Way overpriced for the quality. Only went there as I was invited. $26 for a lunch "special" which consisted of an overcooked dry piece of trout. Perfect example once again as to why I avoid chain restaurants or any big surface resto. The bigger the place typically means average food at a high cost.
One of the best prime ribs in the greater Montreal area. Been coming here for almost 20 years now and I've always had good service, clean bathrooms and healthy portions.
fantastic food. amazing service
It is a good restaurant with a good and delicious food and good service
Food is good but 15% tip is mandatory.
Nice ambiance and good service. Prime rib was at par with other respectable steakhouses. However the plates lack quality garnishes and other people in my party were less pleased with their steak's tenderness. Deserts are under par.
The appetizers were great. The sides that came with the entrees (mashed potatoes, rice) could be better. They seemed like instant food instead of being made from scratch. We were surprised that a place like this doesn't have refillable pop.
Not my first time here and keep coming back for business lunches in small or large groups. The salmon salad last time was great. Will try roast beef next time - it looked very appealing on my friend's plate.
amazing service. I was with my 16month old daughter and she was cranky and tired but Caroline the waitress had such an amazing personality and attitude, she was kind and I loved the way she interacted with my daughter and was able to provide us with her great service and smile. I had a great evening and the food was delicious. between the 3 of us + the baby we had a delicious steak, the shrimp plate, the tuna tataki entrée and it was all really Yummy! oh and I cant forget the manager Tony, he was also super nice and welcoming. Definitely going back there soon!!
Whent there today with 2 freinds , waited 20min for my drinks as well as for water . When I got my appetizers I asked the waitress for my drinks when she rudly informed me it is coming !!! I asked her if the drinks are being made for 20 min no problem but where is the water ? She rudly said again its coming just wait sir after waithing 20 min and eathing some salty calamari.
Food was subpar. Overpriced. Ordered the apple pie for dessert and was told it was a six minute wait only to be brought a raw inside pie. They don't know what they're doing
Great service, friendly staff, but the steak lacked quality. I had the rib steak. Ordered it rare, received it medium rare. Asked for it to be well seasoned, it was lightly seasoned. The meat was not tender, even at a medium rare it should've been. For the price I paid, I expect a aged steak, this was not. I will not be returning, this was disappointing. I've been to places half the price with superior quality.
The waiter was really nice, very pleasant, great service. The food is what you expect from a grill restaurant. Pretty good.
We were supposed to have an inevitably quite lunch 2 weeks ago before we witnessed the manager or the owner for that matter screaming on a 60 years old employee. When I told my husband to go somewhere else, an old man came across their “conversation” and started to shout in Greek or Italian while he was literally spitting while screaming on the gentleman. You guys are unprofessional and frankly disgusting for treating your senior employees that way.
With this price we could have a lot of choices in Montreal among the real fine dining, not this mediocre food we received. Hope they focus on quality not the quantity.
First off the food was good, service not so much... our waitress handed us our bill and wrote the amount that we should tip her on it (rude btw)... I have never had that happen before at any other restaurant except in a large group setting which tonight was not the case as were only 2 people. It was very obvious that she calculated her tip after the total with tax.. Not cool. I'm sure she does this all the time to unsuspected customers to get a larger tip. Be aware!
I have been there for the first time with colleagues from work and I liked the place. Although I don't go there often but I enjoy the food variety and the terrasse.
This restaurant has a nice cozy feel for an restaurant of that size. The service was excellent and fast. The menu selection is great and they have very good options for children which include dessert and a drink. My steak was cooked to …
Food was great. Server could have been more friendly but nevertheless, still enjoyed ourselves
Great food but prices have gone up.
The sesame encrusted sushi tuna was delicious. I was hesitant to try it as I've never had tuna like this before. It just melted in my mouth with amazing flavors. Service staff were friendly and attentive. Wine is a bit high priced but was a nice compliment to my meal.
The food is so bad on al levels and very overpriced. At that price point it's just better to eat at the Keg.
Very average food for the price. At least service is good and the place is clean.
We just love going to Firegrill. A nice ambiance, friendly staff and great service. The roast beef, and filet mignon are delicious. I find that you get very generous portions for the price you pay. Although we find it a little dark, but we have become regulars to firegrill. It is worth the trip, you won't be dissapointed.
Excellent service, food isnt as good as baton rouge Calamari 10/10 Tempura shrimp 10/10 but pricey Chicken 4/10 kind of dry Ribs 7/10 sauce was a bit burned but it was fall off the bone and tender Baked potato 8/10 a tad small Rib steak 6/10 cooked well (rare) but the steak had a lot of fat in it and it was not as juicy as baton rouge. Overall just goto baton rouge for better food
We were out of town customers. Manager was great to us and was super friendly. Amazing staff. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend.
Pleasant inside. Service was sub standard. Filet Mignon asked for med rare got rare and we had to track the server to tell her. They refired the filet but my husband was long done his meal by the time i got mine. No return of the server to ask if it was better. Service can really disappoint the overall experience. I do not reccomend coming here for a steak.
The place is good especially the outdoor. Service is good. But I have a concern about the food. The appetizer popcorn chicken wasn’t good and not fresh and the pork ribs also wasn’t fresh and not juicy. The waiter confirmed that it was cooked overnight. Overall, i am not satisfied.
