Walked in at opening time, had a look around for a new office chair, found one I liked, went to the front desk and asked for help, they sent someone over straight away. He found there were two left in stock tracked it down for me and I completed the purchase. The workers were very helpful and pleasant! Overall a good experience.

I was not happy with my experience on July 18, 2021. I double checked online for a specific item I wanted to purchase (Green gaming chair). Online inventory showed that there were 3 available in this color in this store. I then went to the store to purchase the item and the worker said he couldn't find it (only looking on his phone and the 2 bottom shelves) and suggested I get a different one however on our way to the checkout, I saw the exact chair I wanted on the top shelf. The worker called another guy to get the forklift as it was on the top shelf. The guy on the forklift said he needed a stick to reach the box, both workers insisted that this 'stick' was very important to get the item and told me that another worker misplaced the stick and they would have to get in touch with him to ask about the 'stick', which they said wouldn't happen that day. They kept insisting that they couldn't reach it and to buy a different one. The guy on the forklift made no effort to even try to reach the box, he literally just looked at it, and the first guy made no effort to look for the item I wanted to purchase. I honestly don't understand why they didn't want to sell me that green chair or why they didn't even want to look for the other 2 green chairs that were supposed to be available according to online inventory. I don't know if it was a racial thing, as I am Indigenous, but I was not happy with the customer service so I left, if I am going to be treated that way, then they did not deserve my hard earned money. My husband and I go to work everyday to provide for our children and this was supposed to be a birthday gift for our son that we were excited about. Nothing against Staples, but this store has bad customer service in my opinion.

Went in to buy a chair and got zero help from the child associate. He said they don't go on sale. Then ignored me. He was doing nothing but listening to his ear buds. They have like 30 chairs to chose from. Train your help that they know how to communicate with other humans. Made me mad.

Review date: 22nd October My Advice & compliment Yesterday I visited this location to find out about shipping a mail internationally. I walked into this location and notice that, only 3 staff was at work at 11:30am. The Cash Register Clark was on the phone for over 15 mins while another staff was helping another customer. As for me, I was waiting for 15 mins for someone from the shipping/printing section to help me out. I noticed, that there was one staff working in this section and was really busy. I can tell she is working for her income and are trying her best to make every costumer smile. She was seeking for help but the cashier wouldn’t help her because he seams busy. Two old couple left the store because they couldn’t wait that long. I always find this store doesn’t have enough staff but what I can say is that there isn’t a great team work and I should say that comes from management. I am thankful for the employee who helped me today, I wish her all the best in your future career. You have a far way to go and your will be successful because of your attitude. Thank you for your service staples. I would appreciate if you accept my review and be willing to organize your business in the future.

I received the best customer experience by Greg at Staples. He helped me make the right decision on the best computer for my son with my budget and what my son needed for gaming. After being to many other stores, I choose to purchase the computer at Staples , for the excellent service by Greg! BTW- my son loves his new laptop. Thanks Greg and Staples!

I have to say that until recently, Staples was my #1 place to go to for anything. However, recently I've tried using the Print and Copy center and I can't say my experience good. Actually far from it. The first time I ordered from them, I used the website to order prints as I was setting up for some art and craft shows. Two weeks passed and I hadn't received any word that my items had been printed or that they were being shipping to me. I then called this location directly and spent HOURS redialling and calling the print and copy center only to have the automated voice tell me to call again later or redial. After a few hours of this, I emailed staples customer service, asking where my order was? (I had 1 week shipping) Did they even receive it? Had it even been printed yet? And a few other things, mentioning to the person I was corresponding with that the store wasn't responding to any of my calls. The person I was emailing with, got things sorted for me and she was lovely (unfortunately she didn't work at this location), and it had turned out that they had shipping my package that morning. Now, if you've used their website (or i believe in person) ordering, they tell you that you will receive an email when your item is ready to be shipped or picked up from the store. I never got that email.. And the items were shipping out the last day they were supposed to arrive so they ended up being late. Now, a few weeks passed, and I was in need of a couple more prints, unfortunately the quality of walmarts prints aren't great. And if I ordered them from online, they would have taken too long and cost too much. So, in the end I decided to try staples again. This time ordering the pick up in store option, which is says is 1-3 days. I ordered them on Thursday night (so I didn't expect them to get the order until friday morning). I haven't received an email yet. So, since I was in town anyway and knowing that I never received an email for my first order, I decided to stop in at this location to see if my prints were there. Well, after the employee making me wait several minutes WITHOUT even ACKNOWLEDGING my presents. He finally comes over and I ask if my prints are ready yet and he very rudely asked "well, did you get the email?" to which I told him no I hadn't but the last time I had ordered I didn't get an email either. So, he then went to look for my order and came back with "we don't have anything to do with your order" Now mind you, this is day 3. He then brushed me off by telling me it might be in by tomorrow. That was Tuesday. It is now thursday and I have yet to receive any email that my items are ready for pick up and it has been a week since I sent in the order. In summary, the emails the print and copy center are supposed to send are never sent, and DO NOT expect to get your item within the alloted time so order WEEKS in advance because apparently that's how long it takes even though that isn't what is advertised. And the customer service skills of their employees need ALOT of work. When my first order was late, I said I would not be dealing with staples again, but I chalked it up to a fluke and apparently IT WAS NOT as I have yet to be informed that my second order has even been printed. Unless something DRASTICALLY changes, I will be spending my money ELSEWHERE, and not for just printing but the business, and computer,printer side of things as well. Thanks for the nightmaers staples, you used to be my favourite store.

I got to the Staples 10 minutes after closing (they had just changed their operating hours due to Covid19 response). The doors were closed. Lucky for me the staff went above and beyond my expectations and opened the door so I could drop my package off to the FedEx drop-off location there. Made my day! Thanks.

Waited at the Online Pickup desk for 20 minutes with no help, ended up having to leave without my order. The store was not busy and there were at least 3 employees standing around nearby. When asking for help, they stated they had called someone. Apparently no one is trained to do this besides one person (who was apparently on a break)? That's ridiculous. Update: Went back in to once again try and pick up my order. Let me just reiterate how useless the employees are. I'm standing at the online pick-up counter, once again surrounded by employees doing nothing. There's literally one working AT the counter and completely ignores me for a few minutes until I have to ask to be helped. I have worked my fair share of retail and I understand it's not the most desirable job. However, I would NEVER just stand around and blatantly ignore a customer. This location is an absolute disgrace.

The print and copy center is so bad! Go to a REAL print shop, you might pay more but it's worth it. I needed business cards done so I went to a print shop they we're able to help me with my file and I got WAY better cards!

I had attended this place to get photocopies. The photocopy machine is complicated to use and while I attempted to use it I had printed out blank pages in which I was charged for. I had called an employee and requested him that I would want a refund for these blank pages and he said that he cannot offer that because I used the service. I would highly recommend everyone to go to a different location.

This review is solely based on my experience as a customer and does not speak to product quality. I wandered all 6 isles looking for a binder for my chequebook. As there were no staff on the floor, I went to the checkout to ask. I was redirected to where they “might be” but he didn’t know. I expressed I had already looked there, but humoured the idea anyway. I again couldn’t find it. I asked if there was anyone working on the floor that could help me and he responded, “No, we have no one on the floor.” There were, I believe, 3 people working in the copy centre, one at check out and one at online pick ups (from what I could see). I left empty handed and will just order one off amazon.

I had to find someone and ask them to direct me to area were I could find the item I was looking for... I think location needs to re train there staff... .. Most of the staff here are very helpful, usually have everything I’m looking. Kinda hard to find a specific item without asking a staff member but it’s usually a pleasant experience. Only had one bad experience, it was 1 and a half hours until closing staff acted like they had better things to do then to help, when I went to check out staff was making comments about trump supporters that all customers overheard, trumps not great in my books either but I think political views that use vulgarity and slurs wouldn’t be a great time to say in front of customers (with children).

Nightmare customer service at the print and copy area. I took some pages and documents in to be scanned to a USB. It took 2 months. I phoned twice and visited the store once to check up on the progress. Every time I inquired no one had any idea what was happening with my order. When they gave me back the documents not even half the documents had actually been scanned and 1/3rd that had been done were upside down. I paid 200$ for this service. I complained and they took the remaining documents back. Another 2 months pass and I finally get a call and they were accusatory and snippy on the phone blaming me for never phoning them about the documents. Avoid them at all costs. When faxing there they didn't even know how their fax machines worked and certainly would not come over to help at all. Go to fed ex instead. The girls in the fed ex by the mall are soo much friendlier and way more efficient.

Just a heads up there that is NO ENTRANCE TO THE MALL, so to access Staples, you do need to go via the outside entrance. Shout out to my sales associate Asad for helping me find everything I need in a quick and efficient manner.

Visited the store today and needed 20 two-sided colour copies. The printer gave the option to flip vertically or horizontally, but when I previewed it, there was no way to tell if the flip side would be the right side up. Unfortunately, they printed the wrong direction on the reverse side. At .39 per side for colour copies, it cost me about $17.50 for 20 pieces of paper. I explained the situation to the printing manager, and he offered me a reduced price to reprint them. He said because I had done them myself, he would not reprint them for free. I've worked in the service industry for many years, and the cost to the store was practically nothing. If I had ordered through Vista Print, they guarantee everything... even if I make a mistake on the image file. I will not be using Staples again, and will be encouraging others to use other vendors, as well. This would've been an easy customer satisfaction solution if he had reprinted them for me. Poor customer service.

We always go to Staples in Kamloops to buy computers and printers. They're service is very good. Bought a Star Shower gadget there this time. Plugged it in and hated it. Looks like red and green bugs crawling all over our house. Took it back, they didn't hesitate. Highly recommend this store.

A great example why companies go bankrupt. Staples Canada I feel sorry for you as a company, as some of your front line Managers and Associates do not care about their regular clients. We print between $1000 to $3000 every quarter with Staples but they do not have the courtesy to support their clients in their need. They do not want to go a little extra mile and help. My wife works for Leon’s for 15 years and so many days I have waited for her outside, after closing hours, because they have a policy to support customer even if it takes 1.5 hour over the closing time. Kudos to Leons, a great example of Customer centric business who gives Customer, what they want, when they want, how they want and in the quantity they want. In between my daily trainings, I have to do “Just In Time”printing and today I was late and pleaded and requested to please print, only 70 prints, as we have a training tomorrow morning. It was 8 50 pm, 10 minutes before store closing time, printing associate was available , printing stock paper was available and all the printing machines were available. Awesome front line Associate was ready to print but the Manager said he will not print it, even after request that training is in the morning. #howtogobankrupt

Why do these box stores exist still? Staples Business depot? I feel that there is no way this is a viable business any longer because there seems not to be enough offered here in electronics to compete with sister stores like Bestbuy or Futureshop. Other products offered here like business furniture, office/school supplies and printing services don't seem able to compete with dollar store prices or even Walmart as competition. Must be extremely unrewarding to work here!

I was impressed with their printing station, they have really kept up with technology. They support several methods for bringing your documents in to print. Being a USB drive, directly from Google Drive, Dropbox, our via email. Beyond the print station, it is well maintained and management is receptive to feedback. At an earlier visit, we brought up the fact that a set of lights was flickering. At our next visit, the lights had been fixed.

Customer service is lacking. Copy center was not able to read a newer USB key and had 3 tech's try different ports to see if it would work. The third tech just walked over in a loud voice saying it's our key and stop trying because we read hundered of keys a day and it's our issue. As a customer at a cash and others wating in line thanks for making me feel horrible having everyone staring at me as they wait in line because it's "our issue". Went to the computer section inn the store and a trainee let us plug it in and it read perfectly. Trainee even offered to transfer the data for us on one of their keys. After going in the office he comes back out saying there will be a $40. Charge just to move the file onto one of their keys. After saying no I had 2 more in training staff come over and try to help. At least the staff in training were more considerate and helpful. Asked to speak to the manager and she offered a $15 fee as we have to pay the tech 15 mis of work to move the file.. After I said no she gave no other options to help me except renting time on their computer to transfer a file at a cost. After that she refused any other help saying there was nothing she can do. I mentioned the issue with the print service staff and she said she would speak to her that all she could do...

Very disappointed!!! Just went to print my business documents and had trouble with one small document and couldn’t print on the self serve printer because it was too big. An unapproachable lady with the white hair seemed really uninterested in helping me. I asked her if she could help me. She opened my USB and had time to review it and say it was too big to print on the self serve machine, but didn’t offer to print it for me. I had to ask her if she could, but she didn’t have time to press print to print one copy? She said I have to leave and come back and she’ll call me when it’s ready. So I left.

We arrived at 8.53 pm and wanted to simply enquire about a product that wouldn't have taken more than 30 seconds; however, the guy at the door simply ignored us and locked the automatic doors without even as much as a word of greeting or thanks. This is in reference to the printing department only. Does the management not train their employees in "customer service skills"? Although it's actually common sense, shouldn't have to be trained. When a person is standing at the counter and you are in the middle of something you acknowledge the person eg. "I'll be with you in a moment" Apparently this employee needs to be educated in the fact that it is the customers that PAYS HER WAGES! Looking over the reviews ...all of the bad ones are for the same department it seems. Do something about it. The manager should be ashamed.

Friday I bought a desk/workstation for 400$ plus tax and warranty. Firstly, I know I wasn't dressed like a business woman but I didn't think it would mean I wouldn't be taken seriously when looking at making a larger purchase! I had to run down help (only stood in the same bloody section for 45 minutes until I walked myself to customer service to ask for assistance). Instead of answering any questions I had, buddy goes to find one in the back and brings it up front! Ok? Guess I AM getting this one. After another 20 minutes in line because it was brought to computers not cash I was finally out helping to bring my heavy two man lift purchase to the truck! (one person helped bring it out not two..I was pushing a stroller on top of it) Get home, all excited to start assembling my new worstation and open the first box. All is well, no damage. Don't know if all the parts are there yet because instructions were in the next box. Open the next (undamaged box) first piece in the box is banged up in the corner....can't be attached to anything and looks like someone kicked it or something. Plastic wrap is fine, box is fine, other pieces near it are fine..... They packaged a faulty piece! Not only do I now have to return this two man lift box to a different store (downtown only had the one I bought) by myself, I have to hope like hell they come good for it and give me a new box with new pieces so I can finally put the desk together. Otherwise I'm waiting on Bestar to purolate me a part to replace the one they packaged knowing it was faulty. Oh and the product is made in Canada.... Go figure! Will update once attempted to return box 2 with busted piece. Maybe they'll earn another star or half of one by actually practicing customer service. Also, I better not have to bring this into the store myself! Seriously STAPLES your employees need courses on how to lift things - also need to know when to bring someone else for the lift. SOMEONE IS BOUND TO HURT THEMSELVES DOING WHAT WAS DONE FRIDAY!

Frustrating experience with their copy and print centre. I asked yesterday at the print centre if they are able to colour print on Avery mailing labels that they sell in-store, and the attendant assured me that this was possible. I came back with my design template today and they refused to print them for me. They were honestly pretty rude about it as well. I think if they sell a paper product in store they should be able to support those products with their in-house printing service. I will be switching to using a locally owned print shop from now on.

Spent half my life here already with more to go, standing in line just to pick up a parcel from fedex. I dont get what kind of system/process they use that takes each customer 10+ minutes to have their parcel mailed but they seriously should have 2 separate lines. One for shipping and one for pickup. Not pleased at all with Staples. I have been given the run around for a week. Went to the store last week to pick up a few items for work. They were out of T-4 envelopes, no problem, I will just go home and order them online with them. Looked online, shows there is 27 in stock, go back up to store the next day and cant find them, so I ask for help. The associate tells me..oh, yeah, those..we cant find them anywhere in the store. She then says order online and it'll work, so back home I go and try, order goes through, 2 hours later it gets cancelled. Try on line ordering one more time, same thing, it gets cancelled again. At this point I'm very frustrated so I call into head office and explain what is happening and she said, oh, I can fix that, let me order it for you and we will have it delivered to your office with no shipping for Feb 21st. Wow...great, I thought..it is now Feb 24th, still no envelopes. I have called in daily, and it seems they need 24 hours plus to figure out where the hell my envelopes are. You have dropped the ball totally Staples, I am one unhappy customer!

Great experience at the Staples in Kingston located at the Rio-Can centre on Gardiners Road. Went in to purchase an "Otter Defender" series iPhone 8 protective case. Store was able to price match the item with Amazon.ca and i saved at least 50%. The store associates helped and the transaction went smoothly and without hassle. I have always frequented this store and love their products. Would recommend to one and all to make their work and home office purchases there.

I bought a package of sticky labels. The price on the shelf was $3.99, but they scanned at $4.49 at the till. When I brought it to their attention and asked if they participated in the Scanning Practices Code (which encourages stores to keep their shelf prices accurate) they told me that they don't. If they did, I would have received the item for free which is a HUGE incentive for them to correct the price discrepancy. But they're too cheap to participate in the voluntary program. Shame on you Staples!! I wonder how many people who shop there are buying things, thinking that they're being charged the price displayed on the shelf, only to walk out of there having paid MORE for the item(s) and being totally unaware.

Provides anything related to the workspace. The sales staff are more knowledgeable about products than Best Buy. I was surprised at the level of technical products available to buy. A lot of the talk for tech services to fix existing old products can get complicated but the warranty coverage is good and most of the time the staff explain it well and have the customers best interests in mind they will even tell you not to buy a product if it is not the best solution for you. The placement of a lot of the products is confusing and questionable, with a lot of different places for electronic cords. Even some of the staff have had trouble finding stuff at some point but thankfully there's usually some staff to help you find the product for you. Long story short: Easy Care and product service warranties are great, store organization could definitely use some work, but staff more than make up of it.

If you have any print or copy projects I know from personal experience the man to see is the manager/supervisor of the print and copy center at this Staples location. I was totally disorganized but I needed to get an important project completed and it was vital specific details were followed This man very patiently gave me advice, explained things to me and helped me. The end result was.done when he said it would be and was far better than I hoped for. I will go back for sure.

I went to Steeles-Hurontario branch in Brampton to buy an ink and look at an Ipad yesterday with my son and husband. While my son was looking at an Ipad beside me the alarm went off eventhough it was still connected (sensitive). The staff - woman aged between 35-45 took the Ipad and put it back where it was which was okay but what I did not appreciate was how she approached my son (which by the way hisd behind me as he was very scared of her!) - roughly said “You can’t touch that!” I was not sure if it was a language barrier but when I reapproached her, she just repeated what she said earlier so I asked “How am I supposed to buy one if we can’t ‘touch’ it?” She said in a firm tone that it can be touched (embarrassed I guess!) My son was just 4 years old. Completely ruined my son’s day. This woman (Medina) who I later found out from the cashier is actually their manager. She has very poor customer service. She is very rude. I will not be going back to this store. If I can rate my experience with no star I would.

Ended up paying $20 to print a black and white document because of all the confusion. Not very user friendly for a first time user. I used the self serve computer and paid per minute when I could have just emailed to the printer but someone at customer service when I called in didn't explain it properly! Also, wasted time trying to figure out how to change it from colour to bw. If you're going to charge me per minute, make sure there is someone to help explain all the pre set settings!!

Last night I went to get papers printed off, afterwards I approached the worker Kim at the printing section. I asked if I could have my papers laminated. She replied, "Nope!" I was puzzled so asked, "well could I laminate them? She replied, "Nope!" I looked around feeling uncomfortable not understanding why Nope was her response to my requests with no explanation. I looked around the store it was after 7pm the store was completely empty, seriously I was the only customer in the store. There were a total of 4 workers that I saw doing absolutely nothing so I asked Kim the worker if someone else could help me again Nope was the answer. She then tells me she was busy and If I wanted I could go purchase a laminator. I went to check out the prices and of course decided not to purchase one. Four employees at work, me the only customer and I couldn't get my papers laminated. Couldn't do it myself, was told others couldn't help me. The whole time my conversation with Kim, she was completely unfriendly & rude, It was so obvious with her body language and her facial expressions (NO SMILE). I have no clue who this lady Kim is, never met her before in my life, not sure what I had done to deserve such rude treatment? My guess, I'm First Nations! I complained to the manager and told her I would be following up at the corporate level, thats right, this attitude must stop sometime. People Skills! Common Courtesy! Doesn't hurt to smile!

I went here to use the photocopier in the business centre. I always seem to have issues however. This last time the copier ran out of paper. The last time i was trying to print a pdf from my mobile. It was a fiasco because the process is very convoluted. I ended up using their desktop computer rental station to print which was an added cost because you pay $2.50 per minute. Thank goodness it was only a few minutes but it cost me over almost $6! Another problem is the staff is limited in the business centre and it always seems busy so if you do have a problem you have to wait which can be frustrating.

I wish i could give a 0 star review but unfortunately i cant. Purchased a sale item but was charged regular price. Upon realizing the next day i went back for the discount thinking no big deal. I dont know if it is incompetence or lack of training or some other reason ill never know but i was refused the discount. I provided a picture of the sale only to be questioned and told it may be online only. It does not say online only and even offered 2 hour pickup at this location. Would the price magically change if i decided to pick it up in store because apparently the store associate thought so? Even after showing the picture i was told there is not enough information on staples end to determine this item was on sale yesterday. No flyers, no access to data, nothing. When asking to speak to a manager i was told there is no manager. Their solution is that there is no solution so too bad. I will never shop here or at staples again. Ill be taking my already assembled chair and demanding a refund or leave it in store and issue a charge back with my credit card company. First time i have experienced such ridiculous, and amateurish customer service. I would never hire these people to work for me. Ill take my business elsewhere.

I have a small business and was in town for an event. Needed to print two pages for $5.29 and didn't want to pay the $25 rush fee since the store was dead and the girls behind the counter we're just chitchatting when I came in. Even though they were clearly not busy they insisted I wait 2 hours for the prints because I didn't rush it. I asked if they have an estimated time for how long it would take with the existing orders ahead of us but the girl just kept saying you have to wait the full two hours. Good to see their dedication to the rules. I hope they enjoeyed their two hours of chitchatting while making me wait for no reason. As a regular Staples customer in Edmonton I'm definitely not impressed with how this store handled the situation. Very poor customer service.

The WORST customer service in the PRINT & COPY department. Incredibly rude (and lazy) staff members to say the least. My elderly mother, who is not technologically inclined and needed assistance (I told her to go to Staples as they will help her) went to this store to ask for help scanning an important document to email to me, her daughter, in another city -- no one would help her. She ended up walking away and no one seemed to care. Very disheartening. I have never left a bad review but this certainly warrants one. Larry the Store Manager offered to help (I called the store after hearing about my moms poor service) however she had already left the store. Thank you for at least trying Larry - I strongly advise you to re-evaluate the competency of your PRINT & COPY department staff members. For your good service I give you at least one star.

Not the best value for the money, IMHO. Price matching was great though. Very helpful staff. 4 staff asked if I needed anything in one visit. Then there's the whole thing about predatory overselling. They tried to sell the same laser printer to my friend for ~$220 which I paid only ~$140 for ~6 months prior with price matching with Amazon . My friend called me before buying that printer. When I told him to not buy it for that price, they tried to sell him an obsolete model for "cheaper" price. All of this after my friend already spent $160 ($80 printer + $80 ink, paper, warranty) on a bubble jet based on their recommendations. That bubble jet printer stopped working not long after, and my friend got only $80 back as store credit. In the end we just went over to bestbuy and bought the same model of laser printer for much cheaper price. The no-BS no-used-car-salesman attitude of the rep at bestbuy was refreshing.

I normally shop the north end staples as it’s closer to where I live, although this particular morning I was closer to brooks landing. didn’t catch her name but blonde 20 something yr old cashier working the morning of Nov 2nd had nothing but positive things to say when I asked if she liked working at staples. Immediately raved about the good management and team she works with and how they play a big role in why she loves her job. Not only was she quick, she was a delight to talk too and it’s nice to hear that positivity when most people do nothing but complain about working retail. Nice job. I will gladly drive the extra 10 minutes to receive the good customer service they provide at brooks landing staples.

Staples Corporate is either grossly incompetent or completely dishonest. Long story but ended up paying for an item twice as my online order was late and was told it couldn't be tracked. The item came available in store. Was told I would have to purchase it and then get a refund from online department. Was told refunds can take ten business days. Numerous emails and numerous apologies. We are now at 42 days. Received another apology and was told my refund would be processed and that it will take 10 days to show up on my account, the same as I have been told numerous times before. Several things I have been told have been done to resolve the issue have been proven to be false.

A while back I got an item, Took it back becuase it did not work at all. Like literally the electronic was impossible to use-audio headphones. I spent 20 dollers. I went to take it back and they said sorry we can't take it back, without saying much of a reason. To make things worse I left the item on the counter came back in and they said sorry we don't have it. They took the receipt and item and I lost 20 bucks. This was absolutely sickening. I still want my 20 bucks back but I have no way of getting it back. The only proof I had is on my bank statement and I most likely bought somthing else with it when I payed for them before so I had no way to prove it even to a manager. This place literally stole the item and stole my money and stole my receipt!

I purchased several toner cartridges online at Staples.ca in February, 2019. I use about 1 every 6-8 weeks. I opened the last one now, and it is defective. The printing is to faint to see. I love my Brother laser printer as it prints the same quality on the 1st page of a new cartridge, as it does on the last page. So having a faint printed page is extremely rare. I went to the store # 133 in Kingston, Ontario, and they did not have the same brand name in stock, so they could not give me a new cartridge. However, the manager on duty gave me a discount on what they had in stock so the price was similar to what I had paid online. She instructed me to call the online store and I could request an exchange. So I called, and was declined. 1) the time was too long, so out of policy and 2) the toner had been opened. So, because I spent almost $250 on toner in one shot, and didn't use them all within 2 months, I loose. Plus, how would I know the cartridge is defective if I didn't first open it? Buyer beware!!

worst customer service experienced today. My scanner was faulty and needed to send scanned documents asap tonight and rush down to staples at brooks landing for the first time printing or scanning outside work or home. Told employee that its my first time. loaded $2 in a card with the hope to finish scanning and sending the 3 documents to my email. i was timed out because the system was slow which employee wont assist me and loaded another $3 and only for me to send files to email, it failed yet again. employee wont assist me until it got timed out. Also, Went for an interview once and it was 5 min long. Took me longer to get there then my actual interview (and i live down the street)..and arrived 20 min before the actual interview time and left before the time the interview was supposed to be at.. with them telling me I'll have a second interview and when I arrived for that one they told me there was no interview for me scheduled for that day and they'd let the manager know I showed up. Very unprofessional. If you cannot even properly schedule interviews how is one to trust that shift schedules will be made properly and accurately as well. Don't waste your time here.

Frequently do not answer the telephone when you ring them. In the past, did not have a full time computer technician which is frustrating when you need immediate help with your computer needs. Hopefully they have a full time computer technician now at the store. Do not give you a loaner on your computer if the one you bought at staples is not working. Best Buy does this and it is a big plus when your computer breaks down. Front desk staff are pleasant to deal with. Need to have a telephone line to take messages if computer technician is not available when you ring them so that they will actually call you back.

My wife went here to pick out an item I asked her to grab. She asked a worker who told her that the shelf was empty so they didn't have it. My wife stated that they were showing 24 in stock and asked if she could check. Her question was met with attitude and made her feel unwelcome and belittled after the worker was rude and condescending to her. I decided to check for an alternative myself on the way home from work. To my surprise, the shelf was fully stocked with the exact product I requested in the same location my wife and the worker checked. The worker must have immediately stocked the shelf as I was at the store within an hour of my wife.

Unreliable copy and print centre. Just had an argument with the woman who processes the orders for the copy and print centre. She ended up realizing she was wrong, didn't even apologize, and transferred me to the manager for a refund. One of the highlights of the conversation: The order was made on Dec 4, I got charged for same day processing, and she called me on the 9th and I said that it wasn't printed on the same day so I should be refunded for that (amongst other things). She proudly said, "No, I just printed it right now. It's printed." What does that have to do with what I just said? Is Dec 4 the same day as Dec 9? Amongst other issues, she deleted my print order by accident.

I went to this location for some back to school shopping. The store apparently had not updated their sales signs on the racks and literally nothing that I was trying to buy was the same price that is was listed as on the rack. The difference was well over $100, which is a lot for a university student. When I asked the cashier what the problem was she said it wasn't her fault that the signs didn't match the price and that it was my responsibility to check the actual price. Fair enough - I will be checking the actual price at your competitors from here on out and no longer shopping at Staples.

I order from this staples printing centre all the time due to business and personal - and the last three orders have not even been there when I went to pick up - forcing them to deliver. And then to contact anyone at the store I get disconnected and hung up on by their automatic system about 10 times before I even get to speak to a human - and usually then I'm transferred between 10 ppl because no1 knows what they're talking about. Wow! Superior service at the print shop! I submitted engineering prints online on Sunday afternoon, and they had them ready to pick up within 30mins. This is great, and now helps speed up work for the start of the week. The new branding of "solution shop" is living up to the name so far. Pleasantly surprised and will be back! Horrible service I was a put on hold 3 separate times on the same day for about an hour, at one point someone had picked up and told me to hold and that they'd check on my order and that was that - I was on hold for another 40 min before I decided to hang up. I've never had an experience like this at any other staples, I ended up cancelling my order and reprinting at another location.

I waited 40 minutes for an employee to help me. Store was not busy at all but all the employees were standing at the printing place. Once I got help the employee went to check if the product was in the back and told a different employee to tell me to go see him at the front. Rather than saying "no" and "cant be done" like how Arslan(or something similar, wasnt able to catch his name) was doing to me on my first visitm Its completely understandable the fact that there are problems that cant be solved or even not in the time frame i wanted it to be done but rather than express alternative solution or any other words, all i heard from Arslan was No and cant be done, its customer service, there are better expectations.

Done on time - I reviewed and needed a couple changes (my fault) When I went to pick up amended pages the store was closed due to power failure. Jessica met me at the door, gave me the emended pages, just asked me to pay next time in - very cool!

I usually not write review on any place or services but, I cannot stop myself to aware people about this place, no doubt staples company is providing good services and products but, the staff they hire at this location is totally useless because they don't want to teach you how to use the computer for printing or scanning stuff.. I would say do not visit this location if you don't know how to use the staples computer for printing or scanning because you will not get any kind of help from the staff.. btw I visited to scan some documents and i asked for help 3 times seems like customer service lady ignored me and eveytime and i wasted almost 15$ for overusage of computer just to scan few documents..

first thing said to me when i didn't even get both feet in the door was we close soon so you need to hurry. I had to print out an 18x24 poster that I figured wouldn't get done until the next day since I was making the online order at 800pm on a Friday night. I still selected 'same day order' so that I could pick it up early Saturday, and to my surprise I received a call within the hour saying my order was ready for pickup! Not only was it exactly what I wanted but the quality was amazing especially since it was a blowup picture.

I find Staples to be helpful in many ways, I don't have a printer so I will go there when I need something printed, also if I have to have anything fixed on my tablets this is the place to go. Even if you just need some advise they are quick to help. When I have to send a parcel by Fed Ex this is where I go to send it they are a representative for them. I also must add I buy my Samsung tablets here for the last 10 years or so and they stand by their products.

Most poorly trained employees that I have ever encountered in my life. There were probably 20 employees standing around at the front of the store with nothing to do. Staff tried their best to be helpful but unfortunately not a single employee had been trained or had any idea how to to ship an item. It took me over 40 minutes to ship a letter sized envelope. I will never use their shipping services again. Management should be embarrassed at the lack of training that they are providing to their employees.

I bought an HP xl black cartridge. It worked for 2 months and then I had missing lines on my printing despite running the cleaning function several times. I thought a large chain store like Staples would exchange the item. Not so. They said only within 30 days. Well, I buy the xl size cartridges so that they'll last and they cost a whopping 70 bucks. I wasn't happy to be told that I'm stuck with this faulty product. The store manager quite clearly told me on Dec 12, 2018 that I'm stuck with this situation and they're enjoying the money I had to waste.

I got my photo taken here for immigration purposes and My photo was rejected by IRCC for multiple reasons. My application process is significantly delayed due to this which is impacting my travel plans. Very dissapointed. Please do yourselves a favor and do not get important photos taken there.
